Jaime Lannister- Arrogant (h)

Not many people ever compared you to your elder sister but when they did, they were sorely mistaken.

Your elder sister was much more the monarch than you ever could have been however when it came to where she lacked, you were able to make it up.

With Tyrion as your sister's advisor you felt at ease with her movements towards the throne, but you were somewhat uncomfortable at the idea of meeting with the Lannisters and the Starks.

It had been agreed that Dany would come on her dragons to make a big show of things, not that that would've been your choice, but you could understand the want for intimidation.

You had entered along with Tyrion and Varys but sat on the other side of the empty chair where your sister was to sit.

As you sat down, you felt eyes on you and when you looked you saw Tyrion's brother staring right back at you.

"Must you stare at her brother?" Tyrion questioned flatly. "She will not fall to your good looks like the others."

Jaime scoffed whilst Cersei rolled her eyes at Tyrion's words.

"You assume that Jaime will want her to," Cersei stated in a dry tone, but she then turned to face you. "I assure you that he wants nothing of the sort."

You glanced at Tyrion who had a loathsome sort of expression across his face before you looked at his sister. "Thank you for your assurances but they are not necessary," you smiled internally at the shock on her face. "Whilst Ser Jaime is a handsome man, I see no need to seek out the arrogant and entitled."

Even though you spoke those words you couldn't deny that there was something about the eldest Lannister that had intrigued you.

Your sister soon arrived, and the meeting began; when Cersei left with her hand and your sister left with Tyrion and Jon Snow, you had a chance to properly observe Jaime.

He caught your eye and shot you a smirk before he stood to make his way over to you.

"I don't believe that we have been formally introduced," he held out his hand. "Ser Jaime Lannister of the Kingsguard."

You smiled slightly and took his hand. "I already know who you are Ser Jaime but thank you for the introduction."

And with that you walked off from the platform to observe more of the surroundings.

Whilst Jaime attempted to be stealthy, you were aware of the fact that he was following you and so you turned off an unbeaten path once you were out of the pit.

You couldn't help but be amused at his efforts.

"If you wish to follow me Ser Jaime at least come to walk beside me."

You heard the laugh from behind you but still he caught up and fell into step next to you.

"May I ask the need for following me?"

He sighed. "I admit that I am curious about you Lady?"

"I apologise, I did not realise that you were unaware of my identity," you told him with a small smile. "I am Y/N Targaryen."

Jaime chuckled next to you. "Then the distinctive hair would fit."

"The same could be said about yours Ser Jaime."

He shook his head. "There is no need for the formality, in all honesty I am rather sick of being referred to as a Ser."

"And yet you introduce yourself as such," you commented as the two of you continued to walk. "My earlier statement still stands – I have no reason to seek out an arrogant and entitled individual, I am in no rush."

Jaime stopped walking and turned to face you. "I believe that I am in a position to surprise you," he stated gently. "Do not allow my sister to influence you."

You smiled in appreciation. "When you are able to also stop your sister's influence upon you then please, seek me out."

As you turned around to walk back to your sister, you looked back at Jaime.

"You will not be turned away by my house Jaime," you spoke to him softly. "But do not mistake my kindness or interest for weakness."
