A Watchful Eye - Bronn x Reader
"Why didn't you come to one of us sooner, (Y/n)?" Tyrion scolded, as he looked at the large pile of parchments in his hands that his sister had just given him.
"I didn't want to worry any of you, you are all so busy and to begin with I didn't think anything of it; but now its not just the notes, I think that someone is following me." (Y/n) said timidly, as she nervously looked at the floor, both her brothers coming to stand by the sides of the chair upon which she sat.
"What do you mean, following?" Jaime demanded to know as he knelt by his sister and took her hand.
"And neither of us are too busy to help you, I am just glad that you have confided in us before Cersei and father found out about this, I hate to think what either of them would do if they knew that someone was out to hurt you; but now that we know, you have to tell us everything." Jaime insisted, taking his younger sister in his arms as Tyrion continued to read the notes that (Y/n) had been receiving.
(Y/n) was the middle child, the only Lannister that was loved not only by all her siblings, but also her father as well as anyone else that ever seemed to have met the radiant beauty.
"The letters started a while ago, they were innocuous enough to begin with, just little messages that said I looked beautiful; but then it changed, they started to say that they loved me, and that they were always watching me, and recently I found one on the pillow of my bed." (Y/n) told Jaime and Tyrion, as Tyrion continued to peruse the notes.
"But recently........ I know its probably foolish, but everywhere I go in the Keep, it feels like there is someone watching me from the shadows; and when I go into the city, it's like someone if following me." (Y/n) told her concerned brothers, the two looking at one another with worry. Both brothers knew that their sister was more than capable of looking after herself, but the notes were becoming unpleasant, the writer suggesting all the things that he would like to do with the highly prized lioness, and both men knew that something had to be done.
"I will make sure that someone is with you day and night (Y/n), you do not go anywhere without a guard, and I will have someone posted outside your chamber all the time; one way or another we will find this man." Jaime said, trying to reassure his sister.
"I'm afraid that we can't do that, one of the guards could be the man sending the messages, even one of the other Kingsguards could be responsible." Tyrion told Jaime, as he thought about the only other option.
"You or I must be with her, if she is not in the company of Cersei or father, then it is up to us to watch her." Tyrion said, Jaime nodding his head as he appreciated what his brother had said.
"Don't be ridiculous, you two are far too busy, and I am probably blowing this up out of all proportion." (Y/n) protested, despite the fact that she wanted nothing more than to keep Tyrion and Jaime as close as possible.
"Out of proportion?" Tyrion asked in disbelief at his sister's seeming foolishness.
"I'll do it, I'll watch over er." A voice said from the corner of the room, all three Lannister's turning around to see the man that had moved into the light.
Bronn had been sitting in the corner of Tyrion's chambers, listening as (Y/n) told her brothers about the unsavoury events; and after learning that she was being threatened, his blood had begun to boil. Bronn had always loved (Y/n), she was so unlike any other woman that he had ever met, and despite the fact that neither her father, nor the twins had really liked the idea of the older sellsword being around (Y/n), the two had formed a strong bond, and when Bronn was not with Tyrion, he would always find himself drawn back to the exquisite lioness.
"No!" Jaime exclaimed, not liking the smile that had formed not only on his sister's face, but also Bronns.
"I think that is a wonderful idea, if we can not be with (Y/n) all the time, then who better than Bronn to watch over her." Tyrion said with a smile, chuckling to himself softly as (Y/n) began to blush.
Tyrion was more than aware that his friend and sister had feelings for one another; to begin with he had not liked the idea of Bronn getting too close to (Y/n), and had ever warned him at one point to stay away from her, knowing all to well about Bronn's reputation with women; but when Bronn had chosen to face the possible wrath of Tywin and Cersei, just so that he could be near (Y/n), Tyrion had begun to accept that his friends intentions towards his sister were honourable.
"Please Jaime, I would feel safe if Bronn were to be with me. I know I can trust him to protect me when you or Tyrion can't be there." (Y/n) said, taking Jaime's hand, trying to encourage her older brother to agree with Bronn's proposition.
"Very well." Jaime sighed, smiling softly at (Y/n).
"But if anything happens to her under your watch, then I will kill you myself." Jaime declared, glaring at Bronn.

"Do ya ave any idea who it could be, lass?" Bronn asked, as he sat next to (Y/n) on her bed.
Bronn couldn't be any happier that Jaime had finally agreed to let him keep a watchful eye over (Y/n), and he was determined to do all he could to not only protect the woman he loved, but also find the man that was responsible for the threats.
"No. I know that father only usually has me accompanied by the men he trusts, and I am sure that they are all too afraid of what he would do to them if any of them hurt me; if I'm not with the guard then I'm usually with father, Tyrion and Jaime, or you and Aden." (Y/n) told Bronn, snuggling into his side, as he placed his arm around her shoulder.
"Aden? Who's Aden?" Bronn asked, confused that he had never heard the name before.
"He is from one of the small villages in the Kingswood, he comes to help the gardeners, and he and I often talk. He's such a nice man, and he always gives me a flower when we meet." (Y/n) said innocently, feeling Bronn's grip on her tighten.
Bronn didn't like the idea of (Y/n) talking to a man that he didn't know, and he liked the idea even less that he was giving her flowers, and somehow he knew that despite (Y/n)'s statement that he was a "nice man", this Aden was the culprit.
>>----------------------------------<<
Bronn watched as the lioness slept, he had to speak to her brothers to let the two know of his suspicions, so despite his desire to keep his eye on the sleeping beauty, he quietly withdrew from her room, and made his way back to Tyrion's chambers.
"What are you doing here? Why aren't you with (Y/n)?" Tyrion asked, looking up from his book and placing his goblet of wine on the table.
"(Y/n) was sleepin. Ave ya heard of a young man called Aden? (Y/n) says that he helps out in tha gardens." Bronn asked, as he poured himself a goblet of wine.
"Aden? Ah yes, he comes from a village in the Kingswood; he's nice enough, a little troubled and not the brightest young man, but I know that he and (Y/n) often talk." Tyrion said, suddenly looking up from his goblet, his eyes meeting his friends concerned gaze.
"You don't think that it could be........ we have to get Jaime." Tyrion said urgently, quickly jumping down from his chair and making his way to the door.
"Aden has been staying in the Keep, in fact I saw him earlier today, and as I think about it, he always seems to be wherever (Y/n) is." Tyrion told Bronn as the two made their way to get Jaime.
>>-------------------------------<<
"You should never have left her, you said that you would stay with her, yet here you are. This could have waited until (Y/n) could have come with you." Jaime growled at Bronn, as the three men made their way quickly to (Y/n)'s room, a sudden loud scream causing the three men to break out into a sprint.
As Jaime and Bronn barged their way through the door, their eyes widened as there stood (Y/n), tears rolling down her cheeks as a young man stood behind her, holding her tightly, a sharp blade digging into the soft skin of her throat.
"STAY AWAY!" The man screamed, as he saw the three men in front of him.
"She's mine, and no one is takin er away from me, especially not you." Aden growled, quickly pointing the blade towards Bronn.
"I've heard how ya talk about er when ya think that no one can hear, how much ya love er; well she ain't yours, and if I can't ave er, no one can!" Aden declared, the blade pushing further into (Y/n)'s skin, a trickle of warm crimson liquid, rolling down her neck.
Jaime and Bronn quickly looked at one another, the two instinctively knowing what the other was thinking, and before Aden could act, the sellsword and the Kingsguard had rushed at the him and (Y/n), Bronn throwing the young man out of the way as Jaime grabbed (Y/n) and pushed her towards Tyrion, his sister landing on her knees as Tyrion pulled her into his arms.
(Y/n) couldn't bear to watch as her brother and Bronn fought with Aden, the melee only ending when Jaime thrust his sword into the crazed man's guts.
"I'm sorry lass, I never should ave left ya alone." Bronn said, dropping to his knees next to (Y/n), his eyes widening in surprise as (Y/n) left Tyrion's arms and fell into his.
"Is......is it true what Aden said........ that.... that you love me?" (Y/n) sniffed, desperately brushing away the tears from her eyes as she looked up at Bronn.
"Ay lass, it is." Bronn admitted, ignoring the unhappy growl that came from Jaime.
"W-w-well that's good, because, I....... I love you too." (Y/n) declared, burying he head into Bronn's neck, and holding him tight.
"Just.....just promise that you'll never leave me alone again." (Y/n) said, smiling as Bronn kissed her on the forehead.
"Never lass, I'll never leave ya alone again." Bronn smiled, knowing that no matter what Tywin, Jamie or Cersei thought, he was always going to keep a watchful eye on his lioness love.
