CALEB HORVATH WASN'T THE SERIOUS TYPE. He didn't know when a bad time to tell a joke was. Caleb was the type of guy you'd expect to go to a big university and join a frat. He liked parties, booze, and especially girls. The exact opposite type of guy you'd want watching your back during a zombie apocalypse.

Nevertheless, he's stuck in the situation the universe has put him in. Said situation? Traveling on limited gas with people he barely knows to their potential salvation. The trip to Fort Benning wasn't one that Caleb had expected to be eventful. That all changed when Sophia, a little girl that Caleb had grown fond of, goes missing.

He'd prepared for the worst. Caleb's optimism on there being a happy ending was essentially nonexistent. Little did he know just how terribly wrong things would go...
