Elias's POV

"How did you get a car without someone noticing?"I ask and he sighs,looking at me through the mirror.

"It might come as a surprise but I do have a friend or two."

Sarcastic as always.

"You talking about Rosie?That's not friendship,that's just being horny.That girl always wanted to get in your pants."

"Who says she haven't?"I can already imagine him smirking.I sigh and he laughs.

"Why are you helping us anyway?"I ask,making him clearly uncomfortable.

"I'm trying to redeem myself to her."

I look down at the unconscious Hayley in my arms,and I brush some hair off of her face.

"How is she?Any luck?"He asks me,all the fun and sarcasm completely out of his voice.

"No..She's still out."I take a deep breath."Why are you helping us anyway?Don't you have to murder someone else's sister today?"I pop my eyebrow up and his hands tighten around the wheel."Oh did I hit a nerve?"

"I get you're bitter but I'll have to politely ask you to shut up."

Now who's bitter huh?

"Okay I know I asked you to shut up,but I don't really know where,uh,your camp is so,please,enlighten me."He says like someone is dragging the words out of his mouth.I give him the map his mother gave me,and he studies it for a while."How predictable."

"What you've been there before?"He nodds and tosses me back the map."How long."

"It's gonna a while.It's a small deserted town with many underground tunnels.There are a lot of people that don't know about this place.You'd be surprised of how many of them are in the Army."

He keeps mumbling to himself for the entire ride,to keep himself occupied I guess.The small town appears before our eyes as we get closer,and I hold Hayley tighter,ready to get out of the car quickly.The car comes to a quick stop,as Fox steps on the breaks hard.

I get Hayley and he gets the bag,as I quickly walk down the street.Yeah hiding in plain sight is really nice but if someone doesn't come out right now I'm gonna start yelling and leave the rest at God's good will.And we all know we don't particularly have God's blessing these days.

"That's it.Selene!"I shout.A door four houses from me opens violently and she runs to the street.

"Could you not scream bloody murder-"She stops immediately when she sees me approaching with her unconscious daughter in my arms,but takes a step back in disbelief when she notices Fox by my side.

"I brought blood for a transfusion.We have to get her in a house."He tells her,but she stays there,blinking at him like he's some kind of ghost.

"Selene.She's lost too much blood.She's dying.So I suggest you snap out of it and help your daughter."She swallows hard and turns around,telling us to follow her.

"Looks like I'm not the only one that never wanted to see you again."I say and he rolls his eyes.

"Believe me.You definitely don't know why she doesn't wanna see me."I study him from head to tow,and it's clear he truly hates his mother right now.

"Lay her here."We followed her down a secret room in the house she came out of,leaving her on the bed at the corner."Do you have-"

"I got everything."He gives it to her,but still keeps his distance from her.

"Adam-"She starts.

"No.Take care of Hayley."She stares at him and takes a bag out of the backpack.

"I'm sorry Adam.I never meant for you to become this person."She speaks up after a long time of awkward silence,and he sighs.

"Well it seems you have a problem with follow through then doesn't it?"His voice filled with venom.

This is officially a conversation I'm dying to hear.

"The only reason I ever asked you to go in there was to protect your sister."

Hold on hold on.She got him in the army as her spy?Talk about a plan gone wrong.

"And all that came out of it was a bipolar disorder and scars for life.Physically and mentally.Well done mother I sould give you an award."He walks back upstairs and Selene tells Indra to take care of Hayley as she follows him.

I hesitate between staying and following them,and Indra realizes my dilemma.

"Go.You should hear this."Although I'm not sure I am suppose to hear other than Fox's sad story,I follow the fight upstairs.

"I thought I could get you out of there,but I couldn't you were too valuable and Hayley-"

"Hayley Hayley Hayley!It is all about Hayley!Don't get me wrong mother,I love her,but what about me?!Did you for a second think what I was going through?That place was hell and I told you that,but you didn't care.You left me in there,and with time,I actually thought I deserved it.So I stayed but after Kol killed Layla-"He stops immediately once he sees me."Elias."

"You're lying."I say from the bottom of my throat and he sighs.

"I'm not."

"You're lying!"I shout,grabbing him by the collar of his shirt,hitting him against the wall,holding him there.

"For once I am not!Who do you think was pulling the strings all along?!Him and Valentine are buddies.Doing everything together.When Layla was close at finding the truth about him he killed her.I took the fault.And now, he's coming for you."He chuckles."Looks like I'm not the only crazy brother huh?"

I turn to Selene,who looked way to calm for all these.

"Of course you knew."I chuckle running my hand down my face."I can't.Just-just let me know when she wakes up.."I storm out of the building before any of the two can come up with a new way of lying to me.

Hayley's POV

The last two days has been a blur really.I can't recall much of what's happened.I faintly remember Elias's voice,his touch,but other than that,nothing.My eyes flatter open,and immediately,Indra rushes to my side.

"Welcome back sleeping beauty."Her small smile brings me a warmth of familiarity and I smile back,nodding.Even if I tried to speak,I don't think the words could come out as anything but a whisper.A few minutes pass and I swallow hard.

"Where's Elias?"I ask and try to seat up,and succeed.Okay with a little help.

"I thought you might ask that."She takes a deep breath,sigh that things have gone to absolute shit while I was out."He got into a fight with your mother and brother two days ago.He hasn't really came out from the house he stayed in."I hold my gaze,staring at her open-mouthed.

"Hold on Adam is here?"I ask,unable to believe it.

"Yes actually.He helped bring you here.I think he is out of the Army for good.Also increadibly pissed at your mother for leaving him there."I raise my brow and she sighs.

The next hour,Indra sits by my side,explaining me everything that happened,including the fight between the three.I can't imagine how hurt Elias must be..I mean two days ago he found out that his brother killed his sister in cold blood,sides with his enemy and the person that he thought responsible and hated for so long is actually innocent.And Adam.I thought he abandoned me,but Selene is responsible for everything that has happened to him.

"I have to speak with him.Now."I get up,feeling still a little light headed,but manage to hide it from Indra.Even though she is still disagreeing with me,I walk up the stairs,and out of the house."Which one is it?"Indra points me at the right house,and with a deep breath,I make my way over.

I walk up the three steps of the porch,and nock on the door.

"I swear to God if anyone else-"I hear him mumbling to himself as the door opens and freezes when he sees me."Hayley?"

"Hi..Oh my God have you been crying?"I say surprised.

Things are more screwed up than I thought.

I promise I'll try to post more often now.I didn't realize how many days it's been since I last posted.*awkward laugh*
