020. Unexpected Visitor

"You guys kissed?"

Jimin gave a confused look, his eyebrows screwed together. Meisa's green orbs darted between him and Iris. He drew back, increasing the distance between himself and the witch.

"It's not what you-"

"Is it not?!" Meisa's voice raised as she took a step forward, the shattered glass she accidentally dropped on the floor clinking under her shoes but she didn't seem to notice.

"Listen-" Jimin's words aired defensively through gritted teeth.

The shocked look Meisa wore a moment ago was now replaced with exasperation.

"No, you listen! I'm the one talking now," she retorted angrily. "Did you or did you not kiss?!"

Jungkook entered the small place quietly to see what the commotion was about, having heard his girlfriend's voice.

"What's going on?"

"What's going on is that I lost my twin brother and my best friend and Jimin is getting cozy with Sabrina the Teen Witch over here!" Meisa gestured with her hands in a frustrated manner, green orbs smoldering with irritation.

Jungkook's jaw clenched upon hearing this as his hardened eyes landed on Jimin.

"What the hell is the matter with you, man?!" his voice was laced with disappointment rather than anger, making everything all the way more upsetting for Jimin.

Iris watched everything in silent horror, petrified to her spot next to Jimin. No matter how rattled he was, he still didn't find it within him to throw her under the bus and point fingers at her especially when she was in a new and, right now, hostile environment as these strangers stared at her accusingly.

"It's settled already, no need for discussing it and making it a bigger deal than it already is." He gritted, jaw tensed and muscles bulging from his rolled up sleeves.

"Is something the matter?" Namjoon and Jin dashed over as well.

Jungkook gulped, anxiously scanning Jimin up and down.

"Apparently Jimin and the new girl kissed."

"Dude!" Jimin spat, his eyes bulging.

"What?!" Jin was abashed, covering his mouth with his hand.

"There must be some kind of misunderstanding." As always Namjoon tried to pacify the situation.

"Meisa heard them."

"Are you sure?" Namjoon asked the mint-haired girl.

"Namjoon I swear to God, I know what I heard and if you try to sweep this under the rug again as you do with each and every mistake Jimin makes, I'm going to titty-punch you!" Meisa snapped.

"What do you mean every mistake?" Jimin asked, now stunned by the turn this conversation had taken.

"Oh, I don't know, maybe the fact that you ignored us for six fucking weeks, left us to worry about you without as much as a phone call to say that you're alive!" Meisa said, her emotions escalating with every second that passed. She looked around to see the astonished looks everyone was giving her. "Don't look at me like that you wusses, everyone was thinking it but no one had the guts to say it!"

Namjoon sighed deeply, turning his face away.

"Is this true?" Jimin asked, a devastated look spilling on his face.

"I mean it was pretty weird how you disappeared..." Namjoon scratched his head.

"We don't blame you, we know you needed your time." Jungkook defended.

"But all of us stuck together and you just... walked away."

Jungkook's face slumped as his gaze fell to the floor guiltily. Jimin took a good look at everyone's faces, easily reading them. They all agreed with Meisa.

"I'm leaving." He mumbled, attempting to leave the room.

Before Jin blocked his way.

"Move." Jimin murmured, not glancing up at him.

"Did you two really kiss?" Jin simply asked, a softness to his voice.

Jimin groaned, feeling as if he was stuck in a fifth-grade debacle. There was no point in lying as it wasn't who he was.

"It happened."

What followed left everyone ultimately shell shocked.

Jin growled, shoving Jimin back.

"What the hell man?!" Jimin yelled, struck by agitation, straightening up his shirt.

Stone faced, Jin shoved him again, causing him to reel back.

Jimin shot forward so that they were now chest to chest, their noses inches away from each other.

"Shove me again. Do it. Do it."

Jin sniffed loudly, placing a hand on each of Jimin's shoulders and he pushed him back even harder than the first two times.

Jimin stumbled back, landing on the ground. He turned his cheek and licked his lips, scoffing a sneer.

Then he jumped to his feet and flew forward, seizing the broad-shouldered man in an iron grip. Jin's arms wrapped around Jimin as the both of them started wrestling, grunting and panting heavily as they struggled to overpower each other.

"You're so full of shit!" Jin shouted, red in the face. "How could you do that to her! How could you do that to Aera! She loved you! She loved you!"

Iris shrieked, backed in the corner and observing the whole scene with trembling eyes.

"Stop this!" Namjoon screamed while trying to pull Jimin back.

"I didn't do anything!" Jimin roared as Jin started swatting punches at his chest.

"You're a fucking liar! I can't believe you! Bastard! I knew you were gonna hurt her! I knew it! YOU COULDN'T PROTECT HER AT THE END!" Jin wailed with tears in his eyes. "AND I BLAMED MYSELF FOR SO LONG FOR EVERYTHING WHILE YOU WERE MESSING AROUND!"

The scene was one that brought tears to Jungkook and Meisa's eyes as each of them tugged at whatever they could see in the full blown melee, desperately trying to break it off.

"Get off of me!" Jin shook Jungkook's hands off of himself. "Let him hit me! I want him to hit me, DO IT YOU FUCKING COWARD!"

"Jin, calm down!"

"She was my best friend! How could you disrespect her like that, fooling around with... her!" his full of hatred boggling eyes fell on Iris who was utterly paralyzed.

"Jin, listen..."

"I HATE YOU!"

"Let go of him!"

"No!"

"HIT ME! HIT ME YOU PIECE OF SHIT!"

"EVERYBODY CALM DOWN!"

"I miss her so much!"

"Jimin, let go!"

"Meisa, stay away!" Jungkook yelled at his girlfriend, terrified that one of the flying punches would land on her face.

The room was chaos. Everyone was a knot of entangled limbs, flying fists and ripped clothes, screaming and yelling. Jin and Jimin wouldn't relinquish their grip on each other as Jungkook and Namjoon tried to hold them back to no avail. It took only one sentence to break the dreadful scuffle.

"IT WAS ME WHO KISSED HIM!"

Time froze as everyone's gaze snapped to the shaking Iris in the corner.

"It was me who kissed Jimin..." the blonde stuttered her way into a sentence, her voice breaking through heavy whimpers. Her tear stained face glistened in the dimly lit corridor. "He didn't kiss me back and immediately pushed me away. It's all my fault. I was the instigator."

"Is this true?" Jungkook was out of breath, tugging Jimin by the sleeve.

Jimin nodded reluctantly.

"WHY DIDN'T YOU SAY SO YOU FUCKING MORON!"

Just like that the rumpus started again as everyone gripped at everyone's collar.

"No! Stop this!" Iris shrieked, her small form jumping around the newly formed melee. "STOOOP THIIIIIIIS!"

Her voice elevated to a high-pitched scream. It was so searing that the boys had to stop whatever they were doing and cover their ears.

All the windows in the cabin broke simultaneously as if someone had thrown a rock through them. Shattered glass scattered over the floor. The wind blew inside, picking up and howling ominously. A single light bulb hanging right over Meisa's head exploded and she stepped to the side just in time to elude the sharp pieces raining from the ceiling.

"WHAT IS HAPPENING?!" Meisa screamed.

The front door was yanked open by what seemed to be the violent wind. There was a swoosh of air and a shadowy figure entered, advancing inside with rapid acceleration.

Everyone was so shocked they couldn't move. The creature bounded right to the middle of the living room, growling and hissing. It resembled a human with the difference that it was all pitch black. No eyes, no nose, no mouth. It shot for Namjoon, causing him to fall to the floor and scream in fear.

"What the fuck is this... thing!" Jungkook yelled, grabbing a baseball bat from the kitchen and running back to swing it at the creature. It drew back, hissing angrily. Blood started to flow from Namjoon's arm as Meisa dropped to her knees to try and pull him back to standing.

Jimin's trembling eyes scanned the room like a shaking camera lens. He ran out hastily.

The creature then darted for Jin but before it could reach him Meisa sprinted between them and jump-kicked it.

With a blood-curdling scream, the creature bolted for the table and grabbed a crystal ashtray, throwing it in Meisa and Jin's direction.

With a grunt, Jungkook aimed swiftly and swung his bat just in time to break the object into tiny little particles.

Terrified, Iris crawled under the table and hugged her knees to her chest, rocking back and forth and mumbling incoherently under her breath.

There was silence as the creature suddenly came to a halt in the middle of the room.

Jimin reemerged from the doorframe, holstering a gun.

"SHOOT THE FREAK!" Jungkook yelled, rummaging through his jacket to find his own gun.

The creature turned its faceless head to Jimin.

Then the most disgusting rotten-teethed grin spread across its black face.

Jimin made a shot but by the time the bullet reached it, the creature took a run for the wall. It hid behind the corner.

Grunting, Jimin was struggling to handle the nerve-wracking suspense. He yelled, shooting countless bullets at the wall.

But then the creature reappeared, holding a gun of its own.

Everyone screamed, sinking down to the floor. Jimin immediately took cover behind the kitchen counter. Cold sweat broke on his forehead as his hands frantically searched for a knife. He jumped up abruptly like a spring, expertly throwing one of the kitchen knives towards the creature. Its tip dug in its body.

The monster glanced down at its abdomen where the knife had struck. It hissed and started firing bullets madly. Jimin ducked down behind the kitchen counter again.

"WHY isn't this thing dying already!" Jungkook shouted, peeking from the doorframe and shooting a perfectly aimed bullet but he just missed as the creature dodged it by an inch.

"Aim for the head!" Namjoon bellowed from behind the couch, wincing as Meisa was struggling to make an improvised tourniquet for his wound.

Jimin threw his head back, pressing it on the cold wall. He had to think fast. Just as he was about to make another shot, he glanced up to see the creature standing right in front of him, the pistol pointed close to his temple.

He hadn't even heard it approach.

Jimin exhaled heavily, entering an intense staring battle with the eyeless creature. The whole room sank into silence. His fingers crawled behind him slowly, picking up one of the kitchen knives, and slid it in his sleeve.

He had to move fast. He had to be quick.

In less than a second, Jimin tossed the knife right where the creature's eyes were supposed to be. There was a wheezing sound as if it were grasping for air. Jimin took the opportunity to lift his shotgun and fire again. The creature stumbled back, dropping the gun at the floor as it escaped. Jin picked the weapon from the floor and recklessly dashed after it.

"Jin, wait!" Meisa shouted, her hands wrapped around Namjoon's chest.

Without a second thought, Jimin ran after them through the front door and to the porch. Limping, the creature ran to the forest with Jin following it closely. Jimin shot behind him, caging him as his arms wrapped around his waist from behind.

"No! Let me go, let me kill it!" Jin cried out.

"We don't even know what it is! Jin, it's gone!"

"No! Let me kill it..."

Jimin tightened his grip around his friend's body, knocking the pistol off of his hands as he did so. They both fell down to their knees on the ground.

Jimin squeezed his eyes shut but the next thing he saw when he opened them was the creature's jeering smelly mouth grinning at both of them.

It was holding the gun in its right hand.

"Jimin..." Jin stuttered in horror.

Just as the creature aimed to blow their brains off, something weird happened.

It caught on fire.

Out of nowhere.

A cacophony of shrieks, hisses and gurgling sounds cracked the air as Jimin and Jin watched the mysterious monster turn into ashes on the ground.

"There's not a single problem fire can't fix."

Someone's voice snapped them out of their transitory paralysis. Jimin released the breath he had been holding for too long.

Red hair was glowing in the darkness of the forest, its owner grinning smugly under scarlet bangs.

"Hoseok!"
