Dhruv POV :

Few hours ago

"What are you doing here?" I asked him out of shock, "I know you will be shocked" Vihaan said with a smirk. "What do you want from me?" I asked him directly. He sat opposite to me, even though I wanted to throw him out I decided to keep my cool.

"Oh! You are directly into the business without any formalities. Interesting" he said shaking his head and waited for him to continue. "I want to talk about Shikha" he said staring at me.

"Why do you want to talk about my wife?" I asked him casually to which he stood up and came near me. "She is not your wife, not yet! So stop saying that" he warned pointing his finger towards me. 

"If she is not, she will be soon. Who are you to warn me?" I said with a smirk and he held his head collapsing in his seat. "I do not have any thing against you, Dhruv! You are a gentleman and I have never seen a perfect person like you" Vihaan said making me frown.

"You may wonder why I am praising you but that is the truth. I never back off in accepting the truth" he said in convincing tone. "Then why are you not ready to accept that Deepshikha is mine, we love each other" I asked him getting back to the main point.

"Will you answer my questions?" he asked calmly and I nodded. "You know Shikha from childhood and you know about her parents too. Am I right?" Vihaan questioned, "Yes" I wondered why he asked after knowing the answer.

"I heard both your parents wanted you both to get married. Tell me if they have not decided anything like that then will you be after her?" he demanded. "Yes! I may not have proposed her but would made sure that she is happy" I said and he smiled. 

"I do not know who is she? Her parents, background or even her full name. Even then I loved her despite of difference in backgrounds. Just because of one mistake she left me and by the time I get her you are in her life" he gave me accusing looks. 

"I know what all you did that day at the party. Do you know Vihaan I have decided to leave the girl I love for you thinking she is happy with you. Its good that your real face came before us" I replied back. "If you were in my place you too would do the same" he retorted.

"May be but I will never accuse someone not knowing about truth" I shrugged. "You are saying all this because you have never seen any other girl in your life other than Shikha. If that incident might not have happened, by this day we would be married happily. She never said she loves me but always accepted me the way I am, you were with her when she needed someone. By leaning on your shoulder she tried to forget her pains and has been successful in doing so. This is the reason for her love, if this reason ends then love will end. Godforsaken if something like that happens then you will be the reason of her agony " he said and took a long breath.

Even I have some doubts like this, I know that only because of that day my angel is with me. It is one mistake from Vihaan and I got a chance to express and gain my love. My brain started spinning with many questions which I buried since so long.

"Now I am going to meet Shikha, I will talk to her and will accept her decision whatever it is" Vihaan said and left the place. After thinking about all this I started from office when I was about to reach my home I saw angel's car parked at side.

I saw that she is talking with Vihaan seriously and then there is a pleasant smile on her face. I reached her home and waited for her. meanwhile I decided to give myself space to think about us. I really do not want her to suffer because of my confusions, So I decided to break this relation for time being.

With much difficulty I gave her reasons for breaking relation and to my surprise she did not cry but accepted it. May be she is happy without you? a stupid thought popped in my brain but I know she is not happy but worried.

"Hey bro! You too seem lost" Chitra said coming near me. "Who else is lost in thoughts?" I asked immediately hoping its my angel. "Deeps! She is working like a machine without caring any of our words. May be she is day dreaming about you" Chitra chuckled.

My angel is hurt, What did I do? I felt like banging my head to the wall but I did this for our good. "Its better if we get you married soon, both of you are dreaming in broad daylight" Chitra said after kicking me hard. This girl would have killed me if I say what happened between us.

"Where is Abhay?" I asked to divert the topic and took Abhay' name to make sure it is done. "That monkey is busy in his work . . . ." Chitra started blabbering about him and my purpose got served.

Deepshikha POV :

Dhruv's words were playing in my mind again and again making me angry on him, I started working more and avoided talking as much possible. I do not want to spill it out to anyone in this happy atmosphere. 

Everyone around me were happy and  do not want to be sad on my only brothers wedding. "Angel! You look more beautiful when you smile" Dhruv said snaking his arm around my waist. I loved his touch but felt bad knowing all this is his act before all.

"Yeah Deeps! Please smile I am not able to see your poker face" Abhay said laughing making me gasp. "Oh my dear donkey monkey! I support you this time" Chitra added giving him a high-five. "Deepu! Did you observe Chitra said dear to Abhay" Atisha said saving me and targeting Chitra.

During all the rituals we all were together teasing each other, making fun and memories which could be treasured lifelong. Dhruv did not leave me for even a second and he acted like love sick puppy by sticking around me making all the guests awe.

This is the first time that I too saw a royal wedding and few things were added from normal ones. Finally Arjun and Souravi got married with blessings of elders, its time for me to invite my new Sister-in law.

I took both of them near my parents portrait, "Dad! Your son got married and you have another daughter now. Mom! My brother kept his promise and married a doctor. Bless them to stay happy forever" I said which made Arjun emotional and Souravi comforted him.

"You are a good actor, keep it up" I taunted Dhruv seeing that no one is there near us. "I did not act" he said in hurt. "Do not say me it is true after what all you said" I glared at him. "Believe it or not I showed my love and did not act" he said and left from there.

Did I hurt him with my words? What if he changed his mind and forgot about break up? I panicked at these thoughts. I tried to talk with him but he avoided me, I did not get a chance to meet him personally with many people around me.

After few days when all the guests left and we were back to normal I went to Dhruv's home. "Dhruv sir ordered us not to allow you" his assistant stopped me. "Do you know who I am?" I shouted and he bent his head down. 

"Sorry but we cannot defy orders of our boss" he said sadly. I cannot barge in and risk his job, I know Dhruv's anger so I decided to leave from there. I planned to sneak out at night and requested Chitra to manage. 

I saw that the temporary bridge has been removed from his balcony, so I tied a rope and climbed it to enter his balcony. The entry door of his room is closed so I opened the window and unlocked it by twisting my hand. "You would make a good robber" my brain appreciated me. I ducked myself in the duvet and dipped in his bed.

Dhruv POV :

I am avoiding angel and she is not giving up, her tries to talk to me were making it difficult for me to act rude. After a hectic day at office I came into my room and went to balcony to see if my angel is awake. The lights were not on so its obvious that she is sleeping, with a heavy heart I went to take shower.

When I came out I saw my angel sitting on my bed with crossed legs, she is looking so beautiful that I wanted to take her right here. "Sorry" she said holding her ears and I turned away. "You are so handsome" she winked at me making it more hard for me.

"How did you come here?" I asked her and she came near me trailing her index finger along my jawline. "I thought you have forgiven me" she said looking into my eyes making my control go weak. I pulled her into a tight hug and placed a kiss on her cheek. 

"You did not answer my question" I said still holding her but still in my senses. "You will not scold me" she said and I nodded. "I climbed into your balcony and from window I unlocked your door" she said making my eyes go wide. I saw there is a bruise on her right hand as a mark of her adventure, she did all this for me but I cannot show my concern and tie her to me.

"Are you crazy? How can you trespass into my premises?" I asked her in fake anger. "I did it for you" she said with a pout, No! Do not melt for it! I chanted continuously. "Will you leave or shall I inform Arjun about this?" I asked in no non sense tone.

"Why are you doing this?" she whined but I just glared at her. "Fine Dhruv! I will love you forever and wait for you" saying this she left me. A drop of tear rolled out of my eye hearing her words even I want her to wait for me.

In the next few days I saw her with red eyes and a lackluster face, almost every night her bed lamp is on indicating that she is not sleeping. Even her family started worrying about her and approached me to know the reason. How could I tell them that I am the reason? 

I cannot keep them in dark so I gained courage to say them the truth which we were hiding. That night I went to angel's room and saw her sleeping holding my coat. The silver coat which I gave when we met first time, I remember her saying that she cannot sleep alone and these memories help her.

I wrapped my hands around her and pulled into my arms not disturbing her sleep. "Angel! I am sorry for hurting you. Seeing you like this I feel like dying but whatever I am doing it is for our good. Some times we need answers and to clear all my doubts I am going away from you. I cannot give you my commitment with a confused soul, you deserve the best. I know you will wait for me, do not wait for me if you find a guy who suits you more than me. I know I am a stupid to leave you but trust me its for our good" I kissed her and left the room after sometime.

Deepshikha POV :

I woke up late in the morning after having a great sleep after many days. I went down and saw all my family members were sitting in the living room, "Arjun! You did not go to office?" I asked him sipping my coffee. 

"What were you people discussing without me?" I asked placing the cup on table. "You . ." Souravi was about to say something but Arjun stopped her. "Dhruv came in the morning and informed that he is not willing to marry you" Arjun said in harsh tone and I took a step back. 

One day we have to inform my family about it but I assumed that we will get through this. "You already know it" Abhay said calmly and I nodded. "So you hid this important thing from me, Why?" Arjun shouted. 

"I . ." I started crying and not even a word came out from my mouth. "I know the reason, its for me. I know" Arjun hugged me and I sobbed more. "What is the reason for your break up?" Souravi asked me but I did not answer her. "No more questions" Arjun declared and took me inside.

"Bhai! I am sorry, I should have told you before" I said after explaining him what all happened. "I will support your decision" he assured me. My brother has been my support system from the day he came in my life. I pray to god to give him all the happiness which he deserves.

"I did not expect my brother will do this" Chitra said while I was working on my laptop. "Let me work" I pleaded her but she is still stuck with same lines. Chitra is shocked to know all this, she even tried to killed Abhay when he informed her about this thinking he is playing a prank on her.

"I am not liking to call Dhruv my brother" Chitra scrunched her nose and I hit her with a file near me. "Not even a word against him" I warned her, "He is stupid, dumb . . " Chitra continued and I kept on hitting her.

"One more word and I will throw you out of my room" I said and she closed her mouth with her hand. "You still did not tell me the reason why Dhruv left you" Souravi barged into my room.

"I need not explain you" I said and continued doing my work, "Why will you say? Its your mistake and I know about it. I warned you to stay away from Vihaan but when did you listen. Now we are all suffering because of you" Souravi accused.

"Suffering! Tell me what are your sufferings? Can't you see how sad she is? My brother did a mistake and you are blaming her!" Chitra defended me. "Who are you to shout on me?" Souravi questioned. 

"I am her best friend and will not leave Deeps like you. You are her family and instead of supporting her you are blaming" Chitra shouted. "What will society say now? After getting engaged Dhruv rejected her, its a shame on our family" Souravi's words have hurt me more.

"Its your thinking which defines you, how can you be so narrow minded?" Chitra stated. "You both stop fighting and leave me alone" I said finally. "You will alone forever" saying this Souravi left the room and Chitra followed her. I am sure she is going to fight with Souravi for her last words.

Chitra is a very matured person who can understand your pain without saying, if Arjun did not had liking for Souravi I might have got him married to Chitra. How can I loose such a gem?

As the days started passing I saw everyone are still sad and feeling pity for me. Arjun is very much worried for me and it is affecting his married life. I understood the insecurities of Souravi, she left her home and came here dreaming about a wonderful life. The unrest in my life is effecting the happiness of this home.

The blood running in my body is filled with lessons taught by my dad and valued given by my mother. "I have decided something and you cannot stop me bro" I said loudly to Arjun so that others also could hear it. "What is it?" he asked sensing my thoughts.

"I am leaving this house" I declared.
