More than a month ago

Vihaan POV : 

"I gave you a simple work and its more than a month, Still you are saying you cannot find her" I shouted on call entering my home. "Listen carefully, If you are not capable just say it. There are other people too" I warned and cut the call in rage. I saw Preeti studying and gave her a smile which ignored. She avoiding me as if I am some parasite which I could not bear.

"You will find her bro then you can take your revenge" Neeti said offering me water. "You better do your work, Go and spend time with Raunak" I said pissed of with her words. I collapsed on arm chair in my room and Neeti's words echoed in my mind  . . Revenge? On MY Shikha?? Never

Mere mention of her name brought smile on my face, Where are you Shikha? I closed my eyes and all scenes of that party came before.

"I am sorry for this unnecessary drama, enjoy the party"  I announced to the guests. Mr. Kashyap Varma blessed Neeti before leaving the party. After sometime almost all the guests left, "Why did you do that?" Abhay confronted me. 

"I already explained and I do not think you need a special explanation" I said rudely. "What wrong did her parents do that you blamed them? She never lied to you" Abhay questioned holding my collar. "You are totally under her claws, What did she do to you?" I asked pushing him away and then he BOOM! he slapped me hard.

I was shocked and saw that is the reaction from others too, My cheek started burning that is when I knew how strong is my little brother. "She is my sister and how can you speak wrongly about us? You can never understand" Abhay said in disgust.

"I craved for mother's love all my life just because you were so possessive about mom. You did not allow our sisters too near me, You never treated them like cousins neither I did but ultimately I became a loner. When Preeti used to be with me, you used send Neeti to bring her. You used their twin bond too against me" he started blaming me and Preeti tried to stop him.

"Not today Preeti! I cannot bear more. Do you know why I call Shikha as D? Because she is like my sister and being almost of same age I did not call her Di. You dont even know her name properly but you claimed you loved her and she cheated you?" he continued and clapped sarcastically.

"From today I leave your house and cut off all ties from you" he said which made my mom shriek. "Abhay do not do this, You cannot leave me" mom said frantically. "Abhay if you leave I will not give you even a penny" I warned him.

"Mom! You have your loving son and I am going to my loved ones which are not you people" he kissed mom. "Preeti start speaking for yourself, I am worried about you. I cannot stay more even for you so promise me you will take care" he said and Preeti hugged him. 

He came towards me and I opened my arms to hug him, "Mr. Vihaan Rajneesh, Your property is equal to a hair strand for me" he plucked one strand from his hair and threw it on me. Before I could compose myself he left the place.

After that day Preeti stopped talking to me and Kaira blamed herself for everything thinking she accepted to get engaged to me and all these things happened. Abhay's confession and hatred in Shikha's eyes that day were killing me every minute.

"Vihaan do not stress yourself" Kaira said ruffling my hair. "I am still searching for her" I said calmly. "You will find her and I know you are not finding her to take revenge as everyone is thinking" Kaira said which made me smile.

"You know me so well" I hugged her and she patted my back. "Do you love her?" she asked in low voice. "Yes I do" I said confidently, "You think you do" she said making me break our hug.

"What do you mean by that?" I asked with a frown. "You might have trusted her if you loved her and never humiliated her or her parents" she explained. I tried to explain but she did not allow me, I know its a mistake but it can be corrected.

"What about Abhay? Did you find him?" Kaira asked again. "I am sure if we find Shikha we will get him too" I said my guess. "You do not even know what job he does to find him, Leave that. You do not even know that Preeti loves Adi" she said shaking her head.

"Preeti loves Adi!! How do you know?" I asked her holding her arm. "Its not important how I know about it, You should know its truth or not. I know its true" she said jerking my hand. "But I humiliated him too" I said to myself. 

Slowly I went to Preeti's room and saw her staring at Adi's pic lovingly , this is it. Now I have to bring happiness in her life by gifting her love, I planned what all I should do. 

"Vihaan I am going to join my dad's company" Raunak informed me. "What about Deeparshi?" I asked in daze. "There will be new CEO it seems and do you know Arjun is not the Managing Director now" his words made me think more. 

"I think all this is being done on purpose" Raunak said matching my thoughts. "Did you ask your dad reason about this sudden decision?" I asked him to figure out more. "There is a merger of Deeparshi with another company and its decided that members of that other company will handle this business further. Thats what dad said" he said whatever he knows. 

"I think your dad knows much more" I voiced out my doubt. "I too think the same and its difficult to get any information from him. Moreover I think he knows everything about Shikha" he said and I hugged him for caring about me.

"We will find her soon" I said in determination. I discussed about Preeti and Aditya with him which he too is totally unaware. "Karan uncle will never accept this relation considering Preeti is your sister" Raunak made a valid point. "I will go and talk to them" I said thinking about my sister. "Adi asked for police protection and you are not allowed there" Raunak said shocking me.

"Sir we cannot allow you inside without permission" watchman said when I went to Adi's home. After lots of persuasion he opened gate but did not allow me inside their home stating he will inform them. After few minutes Adi came out and pushed me away. 

"Do not dare to enter my home, I will break your legs if you try to do that" he shouted. "I came here to say sorry bro" I said holding him but he did not react. "I am really sorry to hurt you and Shikha" I pardoned kneeling before him. 

"Your sorry will bring back my daughter Vihaan" Karan uncle said with so much pain in his voice. "You want Adi to forgive you but what about the pain you gave to my daughter? She is staying away from all of us. We dont even know how she is? And its all because of you Vihaan, you are responsible" Amrita aunty collapsed saying it.

"Vihaan for our friendship I am pleading you to go from here. Look at my parents once, they love Shikha so much and you blamed that she is a burden on us" Adi said pointing his parents. "I deduced it from the things I came across, its a misunderstanding" I explained him.

"You were searching for her right?" Adi questioned and I nodded. Before he thinks the reason I explained him my real intention to which he seemed convinced. "Vihaan this does not mean we will say you where she is as we too do not know" Karan uncle clarified the doubt in my mind.

"Preeti loves Aditya, So I came to talk about their relation" I finally said it out. "I am listening to you that does not mean you can do whatever you want. I can never be your relative" Adi went inside after saying it. "Uncle and aunty please do not punish my sister for my mistakes" I pleaded them.

"If Shikha is not my sister then Preeti is not your sister" Adi came out and took his parents with him. I returned home not able to do anything. My mistakes are making my family suffer and this what I never wanted to happen. I heard breaking of glass sound and it continued making me run towards living room.

Preeti is breaking all the glass items which ever she came across. "Finally these sounds caught your attention" Preeti said placing vase in her hand aside. "So you did all this to gain Bhai's attention?" Neeti inquired. "What else can I do? When my silent tears cannot to do these sounds made it" Preeti said wiping her tears.

"I know reason for tears sis, that is why . . " she cut me off    "you went to Adi's home to talk about my marriage. That is what you wanted to say right?" she asked crossing her hands. "Yes" I said in same tone. 

"Who are you to do that?" her voice echoed which made me shake a bit. "My parents are still alive, I accept they are away but they are there. When their daughter needs them they will not back off, only they have right to do the duty which you spoiled" Preeti shouted with all her might making her voice cranky.

"Vihaan is trying to help you" Kaira said giving her a glass of water which she gulped in one go. "What help Kaira? My parents spoke with them about my marriage and Adi is fine with it. Now as Mr. Vihaan is involved Adi does not want to marry me" Preeti sobbed. Kaira glared at me and I knew I sucked the whole thing.

"If you treat me as your sister please do not involve in this issue. This is the only help you can do" Preeti said joining her hands. Kaira took Preeti to her room and Neeti stayed with me to cheer up my mood which is not going to happen.

"I am so happy bhai, My dream of destination wedding is coming true" Neeti shouted looking at all the mountains and greenery around from side window of car. "You never mentioned about this dream" I stated pinching her nose. 

"You should know without saying" she winked at me. "Does Preeti to have any dreams like this about her wedding?" I asked to fulfill them. "She always wanted that both of us should get married together as we are twins and marrying Adi. Theses are her only wishes which are being fulfilled" Neeti stated cheerfully. 

"Your parents made this wedding possible otherwise she might have lost her love because of me" I said sadly. "Their family is just angry with you but see they only selected this beautiful place and invited you personally" she said making me smile. Its the truth which I ignored, I should thank them for accepting all of us heart fully.

We started searching places for wedding with the planner, even Preeti is with us but mostly she remained silent. "Let us finalize the venue tomorrow, now why dont you take us to a trip" I suggested the wedding planner which he accepted readily. 

All of us went to a near by mountain and hill top view of the city is just amazing. "This is a beautiful place" I commented involuntarily. "The greenery around is balanced with development, it makes this place more special" Preeti said admiring this place.

"All credits go to the royal family, they took such initiation that the beauty of this place never fades even with rapid development" the planner explained. "Here there is a royal family too?" Neeti asked in surprise. "They gave up their titles but still people here treat them like that out of love and respect. Our prince and princess are very kind hearted and always take care about people" he started explaining us about the royal family.

When we are going back to hotel on our request the planner agreed to show us palace on the way. We entered a beautiful area, "There is the palace" Neeti pointed and we all stared at it. "No mam! That is not the palace. The one next to it" he commented. But the first building seemed so beautiful but then we saw the real palace which had a spell bound view.

"Can we go inside?" Kaira inquired, "Sorry we cannot even get down here" the planner who became our guide informed us. After few rounds around it we drove to hotel and thanked the planner. "Why is the palace decorated?" Neeti questioned suddenly.

"Recently a royal wedding took place" he explained. "Princess's wedding?" I asked curiously. "No its of member of their family who is also from another royal family" my doubt was answered. "So what about the prince and princess?" Kaira asked. "They both got engaged and soon there will be two grand royal weddings" he said with excitement and left with a wide smile. 

"Seems like all people here love them" I said silently and we rested in our rooms. Next day I started to get ready for a seminar which is important to attend and luckily it is in the same city. "Vihaan! Where are you going?" Neeti's mom i.e., my aunt asked me. "I have an important meeting" I said smiling.

"We thought you will take both of them to temple, its important" she said in worry. "I can drop them at temple and pick them while I return" I offered to which she accepted happily. Both my sisters got ready in traditional wear and they were looking like pretty dolls whom I can never loose.

We went to a temple which is known to be famous and prominent for its architecture. "Lets have a tour around before you leave for your meeting" Neeti said and I walked along with both of them. We saw so many people at a place and came to know that there is puja going on. 

I went a bit near and saw few people sat down and passing few ingredients to people who are doing that puja. "They seem like newly wed couple" Preeti said and Neeti dragged both of us to other side to have a better view. All three of us got shocked seeing the person before us . . Shikha!

The newly wed couple which Preeti indicated were Atisha and a handsome, tall, well built guy. May be she got married to him as we know she is engaged. There is one more girl who is stealing glances at Arjun who sat beside Shikha. Now my eyes are stuck at her, she is looking more beautiful than before.

I never she has such long beautiful hair, her smile, pink cheeks and her eyes which have twinkle of happiness made her look more radiant. She is immersed in those rituals and is not looking at anyone making me admire her more. Suddenly she turned to person beside her and tied something to his hand.

I saw that guy who is looking with love towards Shikha and she moved little more closer to him. I burned with jealousy not only because he sat beside my love but he is more handsome and seemed more perfect for her.

My phone buzzed distracting me, I was informed to come soon for the meeting and with no option left I proceeded to my car leaving my sisters there. The only thing which made me happy is finally I found Shikha and now she cannot escape from me.
