Deepshikha POV :

 "Before break fast I have a surprise for you" Dhruv said and I raised my eye brows asking what. He pointed towards door and I was shocked

"You!!!" I said in shock. After sometime I squealed and jumped in air, then I hugged Dhruv and expressed my happiness by hugging him. "Ahem Ahem" that person before cleared his throat and I came out of Dhruv's arms. 

"Abhay!!" I shouted making him giggle like girl. "Where were you? You forgot me and did not miss me na?" I said making sad face. "Frankly speaking I did not miss you" Abhay said making my eyes go wide. "If you did not miss me thats fine but do not rub it on my face. At least you can act like you missed me right!" I whined. 

"I think you forgot I am working with Atisha. We solved the case together and she proved to be my sister. I am more than happy, first I had you and now Atisha" Abhay started saying in excitement. I can understand his feelings, even after having a big family if you do not get love from them it hurts. Abhay bravely faced his problems and finally he found a sister in Atisha. Atisha too did not have siblings so its obvious that their bonding will be strong.

"Now that you got your sister why will you care for me?" I said crossing my arms against my chest. "D! you are the best. We are of same age so I do not call you sister, or if you want I will call you" he said and I shook my head. "But problem with Atisha is she always has one name to say, Sushanth Sushanth Sushanth! I doubt I may say same name in my dreams too" he said rolling his eyes. 

"If you say that what will people think about you?" I said wiggling my eyebrows. Abhay took time to understand and shouted "No! Hope I did not do that" he said and banged his head making me laugh.

"I will go and do my work" Dhruv said hesitantly and took his files. "Have breakfast and then work" I stopped him by holding his hand. He looked into my eyes to read them and I just nodded my head. I served break fast to him and Abhay had juice saying he already had break fast. 

I felt Dhruv's behavior is weird, instead of eating he started playing with it. "Dhruv! I did not serve you food to play. Better eat it" I shouted glaring at him. He ate silently and went to his work table in the corner of living room. What happened to him? He never ate less food. I ate calmly looking at him, even the taste is good then why did he behave so?

Abhay snapped his fingers bringing me out of thoughts. "What happened?" Abhay asked me with concern. "Dhruv is acting weird"  blurted out. "He has to after the little stunt you did" Abhay said smirking. "What did I do?" I asked not knowing and he gave me are-you-kidding look. 

"What did you do when you saw me?" he asked. "I hugged and thanked him" I said looking at floor. "Seems like you did not know what you said. "You said he is the best and you love him so much" Abhay said making my jaw drop. "Did I really say that?" I asked and he nodded. I immediately covered my mouth with my hands and cursed my stupid brain. 

"May be your sudden reaction made him feel awkward" Abhay guessed. "May be, he will know that I said in over excitement" I said plainly. "But the truth is you love him" Abhay said looking into my eyes. "How do you know?" I asked in surprise. "Love makes people dumb, I have just thrown a stone and you accepted" he said suppressing his smile. "I forgot I am talking to a police officer" I said shaking my head. 

"Even a small kid might have fooled you" he said and bursted into laughter. "Sssh! You want whole world to know about it or what" I tried to stop him but he fell on floor and started laughing. Dhruv gave a look at us and drowned himself in work. "I have seen Atisha so guessed it. Sorry" Abhay said holding his ears. 

"Next time I wont forgive you easily" I said with a smile. "As far as I know Dhruv is a great guy and deserves you" Abhay assured. "Do I deserve him?" I asked with fear. "Why do you think so? Of course you deserve the best and he is the best. Do you know how much he tried to bring me here? He planned all this just for your happiness" Abhay's words made my eyes wet with tears. 

"I am sorry Abhay! You left your family because of me. I am just scared to take any other decision in my life" I said out my heart's feelings. "Someone did wrong does not mean everyone is wrong. First thing: You are not the reason that I left my family. Second: One guy is donkey not all other guys, Third: Dhruv really likes you and cares for you, and last thing what do you mean by I left my family? I have you, Atisha, her parents, your friends and if you marry that guy then he too" Abhay concluded his long lecture pointing at Dhruv and winked at me.

I glanced at Dhruv and started smiling like a idiot. "Ah! Love is in air" Abhay said fanning himself making me hit him. We started fighting and his hand hurt me on eye. "Ouch!" I screamed holding my eye. "What happened? Let me see" Abhay said worriedly. "Move back" Dhruv shouted. He slowly took my hand from eye and started blowing air. Is he treating me or planning to kill me? I wondered. "Cant you see! What is the need to fight" Dhruv scolded Abhay but said sorry immediately. 

"I will bring some eye drops" Dhruv said and went to his room. "See he loves you so much that he cant see you hurt" Abhay teased me. Later Dhruv made me sleep after giving those drops and Abhay took his leave saying he has work. "Tell him your feelings, do not loose him. Will be waiting for good news" Abhay said before leaving.

Next two days Dhruv did not let me work or even come out from my room. "Dhruv! I cannot sit idle" I whined and that worked. His care and love made me fall for him more. I was not able to decide about my feeling but Abhay helped me in figuring out. "Dhruv! I liked your surprise and thank you so much for it" I thanked him after dinner. "You are happy thats what matters" he said with a genuine smile. 

"If its Arjun or Atisha then also I would have not been this much happy. I was worried about Abhay after that day, he faced so many things in his life. I am happy to see him" I said with happy tears. "I know angel, please dont cry. I cannot see your tears" saying that Dhruv wiped my tears and kissed my fore head. He just did like my dad, Yes! Dad used to say same words and do the same thing. I hugged Dhruv's coat and slept happily.

From these three weeks I was trying to express my feelings to Dhruv but damn! Whenever I see him we keep on talking and having fun. May be I should watch some movies to have a better idea. I searched for Dhruv's laptop and opened it. Argh! All my plans got wasted seeing password lock on the screen. But me being me started typing various passwords like his name, his parents, birthdays and all other important names. Thank god that there is no limit of wrong passwords as all of them are wrong. 

Unsolved puzzles, half written stories and mysteries do not let my brain calm down till I solve them or answer is known. Well I could not sleep with so much suspense around, then how can I not crack a password! Think Deepu think, this is Dhruv's laptop and he is not some James bond or Sherlock Holmes that you cannot do it. 

I even skipped my lunch solving the password, I under estimated Dhruv! Even after using all techniques I was not able to open it. I closed my eyes and started rubbing my temple. Then an idea flashed in my brain, to solve it I should think like Dhruv but not like Deepshikha. With this new found energy I entered a password and system opened. My happiness got doubled when I saw the wallpaper, its me with Pari aunty and its one of our best picture.

I started seeing images folder on desktop which had many photos of Arjun, Dhruv and others. There were few pics of mine which I am sure were taken without my knowledge. I loved them as they were so natural. Just when I was about shutdown I saw Dhruv running towards me with a smile. When he saw me working on his laptop his expression changed to shock then into confusion. I know he the reasons for his shock and confusion. Its the password! I gave him a smile which automatically made his face lit up.

"There is a good news" he said smiling. "Our parents accident case got closed and culprits got punished" he said and I asked him to explain whole thing about it. "Angel! On the day of accident the car in which our parents traveled was rented one. That truck driver was given money to thrash the car and people in it. He did exactly the same but its not planned for our parents, someone else booked the same car and cancelled the booking at last minute. So this accident is planned to kill them but we lost our parents" he explained.

"I am sure they would have felt happy knowing they saved someone else lives" I said thinking about my parents. "True" he said smiling. "Till now why did they extend case? How did they prove this?" I asked out of curiosity. "Well we know this a year back but driver did not see the person who offered him ransom. Abhay worked hard on this case and found proofs, only that helped to close this case" Dhruv said in relaxed tone. 

"Happy?" I asked him. "Very happy, You cant even imagine. Now you can go home happily, we will go in 3-4 days" Dhruv said and I felt bad. I do not want to leave him, one way I am happy that I can finally go to my hometown and my home but still its hurting to part from him. "Are you happy that I am leaving?" I asked him with tears.

"No Angel! I am relieved that there is no life threat for you. I am always worried about that" he said cupping my face. "I am sad that I will miss you but happy that I made memories till now" Dhruv said looking at me with so much love in his eyes. 

"Then lets celebrate my freedom" I said hugging him. "What shall we do?" he asked with a frown. "Lets cook as if we are doing it for a royal wedding" I said and winked at him. We both prepared so many dishes, its like we are competing against each other. When all dishes were ready we decided to eat food made by others. 

"I am addicted to your food" I said enjoying every bite. "I love your food. This is the best ever" he started praising my food. "You know what! Only Arjun tasted my dishes, I wanted only my husband to taste it after him. Now you are tasting it almost daily and I am so happy" I said. "Even I wanted to cook only for my wife, I did not allow even Arjun to taste. Do you remember that day Abhay said he had break fast! I did not want him to eat my dishes so I planned it. Finally my wishes came true and you are the only one to have it" he said proudly with a smile.

That is when realisation dawned, I understood what I blabbered and what he said. Suddenly Dhruv too looked at same expression as mine, may be he too is thinking the same. We finished our dinner silently and went to our rooms. I jumped on bed with happiness, he wanted me to be his wife!! Unbelievable! Even I too said that I am happy indicating I accept him as my husband! I started blushing thinking about this. 

I hugged the pillow thinking about Dhruv and our moments together. Its now or never Deepu! Just express your feelings, there is no harm in doing so. Now that I know he too likes me I need not fear about his rejection.
