Deepshikha POV :

"Dhruv! Its related to our past. I think you know the reason but if you want to listen from me then I will say you" I said moving out of his arms. "I want to know everything you know" he said in stern voice.

"When will you stop coming to library and do something productive?" Chitra whined. "I  love reading and you cannot stop me from doing it" I said pinching her nose. "Ok you go, I will see you at home" she bid bye and I proceeded towards my love . . books. 

While having a great time with Sherlock Holmes, one of my uncle came running towards me. "Princess! You need to come with me" he said while panting. How come he knows I am here? Chitra!! That idiot might have told him. Wait!! May be this is some prank by all the gang to make me come out of library! My detective brain started working out all possibilities. 

"I will not come uncle, From when did you started teasing me" I said adamantly. "DEEPSHIKHA KULDEEP RAJVANSH" he shouted making my eyes go wide. Its definitely something serious that he took my full name. "You need to come, NOW" he shouted and I literally ran leaving the book there.

"Why are we in hospital?" I asked but he did not reply. May be my mother wanted to see me or is someone ill? No Deepu! You should not think wrong. We started walking towards emergency ward which made my heart beat faster. I was dead shocked to see Uttara sitting with tears before a room. Hope Jai uncle is fine! I prayed to god from bottom of my heart. 

"Uttara! You should stay strong, if you break down who will manage kids" Jai uncle who came from room said to her. Who is it in emergency ward? I took small steps towards the room and saw Arjun's back, I went in and saw the most horrible and ultimate shock of my life. 

"Mamma! Dad!" I shouted and tears started flowing from my eyes. They were badly injured and all kind of instruments were attached to them. The only relief was both of them are awake and giving me their signature smiles.

"What happened? Both of you planned to kill me or what?" I said with tears and sat beside my dad. "Oh no princess! See I am fit and fine so please do not waste your tears" he said wiping my tears. "I want to say few things before its too late" dad said seriously. 

"Take care of Arjun, he never says what he wants. He needs your love and care, so promise me that you will do that" dad asked me in high tone. I looked at mom and she nodded her head. "I promise" I said placing my small hand in his. 

"Arjun! My daughter is very innocent and sweet, Just like her dad. So you should take care of her like a mother and father"  mom ordered Arjun and he hugged her. 

"Why these farewell messages now? You both are going to be fine" I said making my mom smile. "Oh! You are a doctor and you know that" Dad said sarcastically. "Kuldeep! Dont tease my daughter" mom took my side. 

"What happened to these both? They switched their sides" Arjun asked me in disbelief. "Even I am thinking the same" I said as Dad is my party and mom is Arjun's. "Well once in life we should do that. So at the end we are doing it" Dad said making me cry more and Arjun hugged me.

"Sir! We took that driver in custody and interrogating him. Well it looks like planned" a police officer came in and started talking with dad. I was still in shock but . . "Deepu you will do as Uttara and Arjun say. Stay safe till everything gets cleared" my dad ordered me and I nodded not knowing what to do.

"We will not leave the culprit sir, they took two lives and you both are fighting for your life" that officer said in emotion. Well everyone loves my parents and a planned accident on them is something which no one can digest. But who lost their lives!! Then only I saw on other end there were two beds. On one bed I saw Yash uncle and other Pari aunt!! Dhruv was sitting in middle of both the beds holding their hands . . God! What have you done?

Not able to bear the emotions I ran out and started crying. "Deepu! Just sit here" Uttara made me sit in a chair and held me. "Why did this happen? There are no enemies to my parents. Dad was ready to leave company if any of the relatives wanted power. So there is no question of enmity. Then why?" I complained. 

"We will know soon. Just go inside and spend time with them" she suggested. "What do you mean?" I asked her in shock. "They have less time, Doctors said its a miracle that they are alive till now" Uttara Aunt said controlling her tears. 

Immediately I went inside the room and saw mom was on same bed with dad. "Whats happening?" I asked gaining their attention. "They are teaching me how to romance" Arjun said making me roll my eyes. "How can you do that before your children?" I asked. "Then both of you get out" Mom said. "Someone is being bold" Dad teased her. 

"We do not have objection in you both watching us doing all the stuff" Dad said huskily. "I can but my sis is still young do not spoil her" saying that Arjun closed my eyes. "As if you are very old" I said pushing his hand. "No you should not" he said in haste. "If you can, why cant I?" I said crossing my arms and tilting my head.

"Wow! Finally I got to see my kids fighting. You both were like angels without fighting and all" Mom said cheerfully. "Even I am happy, These fights increase love between you" Dad said holding mom. "Bhai! These two made us fight" I said dramatically. "Yes! See they diverted us doing the thing they wanted to" Arjun said. 

"We love you" mom and dad said in unison."We too love you" I said along with Arjun. "I love you aashi" Dad said planting a kiss on her cheek. "Love you too Deep!" Mom blushed. "Finally after these many years you called me Deep" Dad laughed heartfully and mom hugged him tightly. Both of them closed their eyes and never opened them.

"My parents and their love is just an epic. I fantasize such love, its like till death made them apart they are together" I said wiping my tears. "Even in death they are together, same like my parents" Dhruv said. "After that Uttara suggested us to be away from that place. Many people did not know Arjun properly as he stayed with Harshith uncle in initial years. So he used to go there and I am forbidden" I explained. 

"Out of love they make you stay away, its for your safety" Dhruv said handing me glass of water. I saw him lost, his eyes were red and holding many emotions. He too lost his parents along with me, I got tie to talk with them at last but Dhruv!! "Did you speak with your parents before their death?" I asked him.

"With mom, a few words. Dad, he just died in my arms" Dhruv broke down and I took him in my arms. I had my brother, friends and other family but Dhruv is alone. His parents and my family were his world. I understood there was no one with him when he needed. Even after these many years only Arjun is his best friend and Sushanth, Souravi, Atisha as his friends. 

"Dhruv! Why did you not make me your friend?" I asked suddenly making his tears stop. He scratched his head and looked into my eyes. "I . .I am" he stuttered but did not finish the sentence. Instead of comforting him I placed him dilemma. When will I change? I banged my head and Dhruv held my to stop doing it. 

"Are you crazy?" he asked. "May be" I said shrugging. He shook his head and started laughing. Finally he is laughing, "Dhruv! Will you stay with me? I cannot sleep alone. All memories will haunt me" I asked in hesitation. "Sure" he said after a long pause. I wanted to hug him but decided against it. 

I cooked dinner for us and he enjoyed it completely. Yes! I know he will like it as I cooked it. I may sound proud but sometimes we should appreciate ourselves. Later we both settled on sofa in living room to avoid in embarrassment. He patted my head and I slept without noticing that he is lost in thoughts.
