Narrator's POV:

While going inside Deepshikha saw Mrs. Rajneesh, Neethi and Kaira leaving their home. She thought of talking to them but decided against it as she is not in her good mood. "Ma why were they here?" she questioned her Amrita Ma without looking at her. "They came here to invite us to Neeti and Raunak's engagement cum Vihaan's success party" Amrita said in exhausted tone. "You look so tired, Why did you serve this much food?" Shikha worried seeing the number of dishes on table.

"They are your future in-laws right! So this is necessary" she answered her furious daughter.. "Whatever! I will make them pay back" Shikha said in anger making Amrita chuckle. "Dont know how you will deal with that family! Each person is an antique. See Neethi's parents are not coming for their own daughter's engagement. If I list out all their qualities you will feel bad" she said placing her palm on mouth. 

"You can say whatever you want to Ma, Even I wonder how can Abhay and Vihaan be brothers. Unimaginable! Abhay is calm, jovial and more matured compared to his angry and arrogant brother" Shikha commented. "You are commenting about your future husband dear" Amrita warned her daughter and Shikha lost in her own thoughts. "Do I need to get married?" Shikha spoke out her mind. "If its in my hands I will never let you" Amrita said with tears.

"Do you know how much I curse god for giving you to me after you are grown up and ready for marriage? Do you know how much I hate your parents for leaving you alone on us? Its good that you accepted us after they left. You dont know how much I worry about your marriage? Now that you got a good family, I fee the burden is off" Amrita said with tears. Shikha hugged her and let her cry in her arms. She felt someone is behind her and turned back but did not spot anyone. 

"God is very cruel Shikha! He took away your parents from you and made you away from your own family. You are a blessing in disguise to us, you complete our family. Your Uncle Karan does not want you to get married, he loves you more than me. Why did you not take birth from me?" Amrita asked her in serious tone. "I am always your daughter, Its all fate Ma" Shikha said wiping her tears.

"Now lets clean all this before it stinks, I wonder one day you will kill people with your food" Shikha said rolling her eyes. "No one will die" Amrita said "If you over feed that will happen for sure" Shikha said cleaning the room and found a wallet. "I have not seen this before, When did you buy this?" She asked her mother picking it. "I think our guests left it" she said and continued her work.

Vihaan picked Shikha for shopping and they selected their dresses for the party. "You never told me that Kaira is your best friend?" Shikha asked casually. "Whats there to say in that? Its so obvious right!" Vihaan said typing on his phone. "Did you love her? I know that she loves you" she asked making him look at her. "If I love her why will I propose you?" he asked in irritation.

 "I just wanted to know, you even did not mention about Neethi's engagement. I did not know that your family accepted their alliance" she said looking at him. "Now you want me to tell you everything that happens in my life? Then I make it clear to you that I will not" Vihaan said in stern voice. "My parents used to share everything, I do not expect everyone to do that" she sighed. "Now stop nagging, I just hate it" Vihaan glared at her.

"I just told you whatever I feel, I will never nag you or or that matter interfere in any of your issues" she said raising her voice. "May be I went little over board, Now dont be upset dear" Vihaan tried to woo her with his words. "RV! I dont get upset on petty things like these. So you need not worry" she said with her signature smile. "Cant wait to see you in party gorgeous" Vihaan winked at her.

"Enough of this make up Atisha, even you should get ready for party" Shikha whined. Atisha made sure that Shikha will take away breath of Vihaan, not only him but other guys too. "Let me style your hair please" Atisha begged. "No way, I will give that chance  when right time comes" Shikha said and folded her long beautiful hair which is now hidden into some shape which Shikha made. 

"Still you look so pretty, I know you are saving your best for your future family. Best looks, cooking and what not" Atisha said in teasing tone. "For my husband in particular dear" Shikha said boldly making Atisha shut her mouth. "Now I too will get ready, I cant make your Vihaan wait for you" Atisha said and was back in her gorgeous look. 

"You look so pretty, all guys will be eyeing you" Shikha said admiring her friend. "I am already taken dear, Its you who are still single" Atisha said shrugging. "Who knows you too may get engaged today" she added earning a slap on her arm from Shikha. Karan and Amrita were not attending the party as Karan has severe back pain. They sent their children with all their blessings for new couple and wishes to Vihaan.

Arjun came little late than others, he saw Atisha and his Deepu talking to each other seriously. They are sitting in front tables so he decided to join his best friend leaving the ladies. Arjun waved to a handsome guy and went to join him but Mr. Varma pulled Arjun along with him to the front and made Arjun sit along with him. With no option left he sat there observing everyone around. Aditya and Abhay were checking all arrangements, his sister is busy with her friend but still managed to look at him in between.

"Attention everyone! I am so happy to inform you that my sister Neethi is getting  engaged to my best friend Raunak Varma" Vihaan said proudly. Both of them exchanged rings while all clapped for the new couple."Thank you one and all for attending, Its not only this engagement or my success party there is a surprise for you all" Vihaan said making curiosity built up in the audience. "I am also getting engaged" he said with a shy smile. 

This announcement from Vihaan made everyone hyper, Arjun is shell shocked hearing it. I cannot let my sister engage like this, I have planned so much for her. He looked at Deepshikha, even she is in shock. "See I guessed that you too will get engaged, you might have allowed me to make you look more pretty" Atisha said making Shikha glare at her. "Cant you shut your mouth? I am in shock here and you . ." Shikha shut her eyes to calm herself. "Even I dont know about this" Abhay joined both of them.

"I know all of you are excited to know who is the girl who stole Vihaan Rajneesh's heart" Vihaan said smirking but his mother took microphone from him. "She is the one whom our whole family accepted, who loves my son more than me and queen of his heart" Mrs. Rajneesh said proudly. "Vihaan! I will not steal the chance of you announcing her name" she handed over mic saying this to her son. Atisha and Abhay are more excited to hear that, even Aditya stood with a huge grin.

"Its Ms. Kaira" Vihaan said taking her hand in his. Kaira looked like a bride in her floral lehenga, looking perfect with Vihaan beside her. They side hugged each other and posed for photographs. "Best friends now best couple" someone complimented. Meanwhile Shikha's smile faded after hearing Kaira's name but she had a small smile on her lips and clapped for them. Arjun, Aditya, Abhay and Atisha . . All A's are in mixed emotions. Rage, confusion, frustration, dejection you can add all those feelings in their list. 

"How can he do that? I want to chop off his head" Atisha said banging her hand on table. "How can you smile even now?" Abhay asked in astonishment looking at Shikha. Meanwhile Mr. Varma went on to stage and gained attention from crowd. "Mr. Vihaan I heard you are man of your words, Now what are you doing?" Mr. Varma asked seriously. "What did I do?" Vihaan asked innocently. "Someone stop Mr. Varma, I do not want this" Shikha said in worry. "Let him do that" Abhay said crossing his legs but she is still worried knowing about her brothers. 

"You promised that you will marry someone and now you are cheating on her?" Mr. Varma shouted. "Now should I remind you who is that girl?" Aditya shouted. "You better stay out from this" Vihaan warned Aditya. "Why should I stay away when its related to my sister?" Aditya asked Vihaan holding his collar. "I need not answer you" Vihaan shouted and pushed Aditya. He fell down hurting his head and blood oozed from his head. Shikha came running to her but Preeti treated his wound making hr relieved. 

"You have to answer her" Mr. Varma pointed at Shikha and she came on to stage. She stood opposite to Vihaan and he signed Kaira to move back.

"You said you love me" she questioned looking into his eyes.

"I did but not now" he said with hatred. His eyes became red with anger.

"May I know why?"she asked in broken voice.

"I cannot marry a filthy blood and pollute my family name" he shouted.

She is shocked hearing those words, "Filthy blood?" she murmured. "Exactly! That is what you are and dont bluff now" he said harshly. "Why are you saying that?" she managed to ask him. "You need proof right? Lets hear this" he said taking mobile phone from Neethi and played a recording.

  "Do you know how much I curse god for giving you to me after you are grown up and ready for marriage? Do you know how much I hate your parents for leaving you alone on us? Its good that you accepted us after they left. You dont know how much I worry about your marriage? Now that you got a good family, I fee the burden is off"  

Amrita's voice echoed in the party hall, "Whose voice is this?" he asked her. "My Amrita Ma's" Shikha said still thinking about the recording. "Amrita and Karan are your parents?" Vihaan asked raising his eyebrow. "They are my parents but not biological"she explained. "So are you their adopted child?" he questioned again. "No" she said in audible tone. "Thats it! You cheat, I fell in your trap blindly. This friend of mine never bothered to tell me the truth. How will he say when you were some unwanted burden?" Vihaan mocked Aditya. 

"Where is the continuation of this recording?" Shikha demanded. "What?" he asked little surprised. "This is not the complete conversation" she said crossing her arms on her chest. Vihaan looked at Neethi, "Bhai! I recorded it when I went back to take my wallet. They stopped discussing after this" Neethi explained. "Its a pause we did not stop it" Shikha explained. 

"She is trying to manipulate you bhai" Neethi spat out. "I know!! You accepted it, so what else you want to say?" Vihaan gave her a chance to explain. "I am not some one unwanted. I already told you there is a past which I need to share and this is the thing" Shikha said in one go. "Now that your truth is caught you are saying it.I asked you whether it will effect our future and you said no" he shouted at her. 

"That is true, how will this fact effect our future?" she asked him calmly. "It will never effect a b*tch like you, It will effect me and my family, our blood. How can a characterless woman like you understand this? All you need is my fame and wealth, You are smart to make me fall for you with your wit unlike others who do with their body" Vihaan accused her and she took all his words like bullets jabbing her heart. 

Arjun and Abhay came in rage hearing his words to punch him, Mrs. Rajneesh held Abhay's hand and Shikha stopped Arjun who was ready to pounce on him. "Great! You have a great effect on men around you. All of them are wealthy and powerful too" Vihaan said with a mischievous smile making Shikha feel disgusted. "How can you use those words for a brother?" she asked him.

"You trapped even my brother so that if I miss you can have him, You already have a fake brother in Aditya. I know Arjun is Mr. Harshith's son and no way related to you. So stop using the bro card for him" Vihaan accused. His words made Shikha drop her jaw literally, Vihaan knows about Harshith uncle! she thought but a small smile came on her lips thinking Vihaan did not know the fact. From the corner of her eye she saw Arjun who too was smiling thinking about Vihaan's words. She did not say anything as she wanted to see how low can the person before her fall.

"You manage to smile!! Its mistake of your parents, I think they trained you to do all this" Vihaan blamed her parents which made her eyes go wide. "Those bloody ****** **** **** did all this" Vihaan used abusive words which made Shikha lose her temper. 

"Enough Mr. Rajneesh" she shouted at top of her voice. "One more word against my parents and I will make sure you repent for it" Shikha threatened in her commanding voice which made even Arjun take two steps like Vihaan. He gulped and managed to say "You cannot do anything or your **** parents could do that" 

"You spoke low about my character I did not stop you but how can you accuse my parents. I want to slap you for your words but Alas! my values do not permit me to do that" she said closing her palms and eyes tightly. She opened and her eyes and calmed herself. 

"You are absolutely right Mr. Vihaan Rajneesh, We are never a match. I do not suit you, NEVER" she stressed on each word and got down the stage holding her head high and walking confidently. 

"I am sorry dear, I thought of getting justice for you but you had to face all this" Mr. Varma said with tears in his eyes. "I know uncle, you are always our well wisher. Today because of you I know how people are and I learnt biggest lesson of my life. Thank you" she said politely and walked away with grace and power emanating from her. All the other people were mesmerized by her attitude and stared at her.

Arjun kept on looking at his sister, she did not seem like his sister Deepu but he could see  . . .         Ms.Deepshikha Rajvansh, heiress of the royal Rajvansh group. She was just like a replica of her father Kuldeep Rajvansh, owner of more than half of the wealth of his country. Arjun followed her with a smile and frown on his face. He is happy to see his sister like this but upset at what all she faced here.

A/N: This is the longest chapter I have ever written and may be the most emotional one too. Sorry I am weak at using abusive words so you imagine whatever you want.
