Deepshikha POV:

"Oh my daughter is home this early!" Amrita Ma asked in surprise and I hugged her smiling. "Cant you come daily like this? I miss you so much" she said ruffling my hair. "I try to come but you know work is important" I said. "You are just like your dad" she said making me roll my eyes "I know" I murmured. Daily I hear these words which make me proud and sad at a time. Being like my dad is matter of pride for me.

"Where is Aditya bhai?" I asked her having my snacks, "he is busy in some tour" Ma said arranging things. "My both brothers do not have time for me, always business on their mind" I said in disgust making Amrita Ma stare at me. "Look who is saying that? When you work do you even think about yourself? No na, your brothers at least do that" she taunted me. That is the truth but I am not ready to accept it before her.

 "You love your sons more, take their side only, one day you will understand my importance" I said wiping my fake tears. "Stop this drama girl! It does not suit you" she said slapping my arm. "Then what suits me?" I asked raising my brow. "Business and relations . . You are good at it" she said proudly. "You know me" I stated. 

"Shikha! Why dont you increase your rapport with your new family, I mean Vihaan's family. When you have decided to take your relation to next step" Ma said making me think about it. "You are right, but do I need to know them?" I asked her. She took my hand in her and started saying "Your mother got so much love from your father's family. She shared a very good relation with everyone but I never had such opportunity. I do not want you to miss such a good thing" she explained.

"Then I will talk to Mrs. Rajneesh" I said out planning what to talk in my mind. "What? You directly aim for world cup without playing other games" she asked making me confused. "First talk to other family members then from them you can know about her and act accordingly" she suggested. "Oh! Then I will be the one to give away tips to my bhabhi when Adi gets married" I winked at her and she laughed at my words.

Abhay is already in my team, Its tough to deal with the devil twin Neethi, So I decided to befriend Preeti the sweetest. I called her and she immediately attended it "Hi Preeti! Did I disturb you?" I asked her hesitantly. "Ya you disturbed my candy crush" she said making me chuckle. "Sorry! I can compensate that by sending extra life" I said laughing to which she too joined. "I am impressed" she said in between her laugh. 

"Can we meet when you are free? Like some shopping and all" I asked her not knowing what else to do. "Sorry Shikha, I go out only with Neethi. I do not feel like going out without her" she said. The twin connection!! I did not expect this. "I will invite her too. We three can go" I suggested. "I guess she will not come, she is busy these days" Preeti said in her sweet voice . "I just thought of spending some time with you, after all you are my future family" I said in little disgust.

"Hey! We will meet whenever possible. For now we can talk on phone, you cannot stop me from that" she said. "My pleasure" I said and she started saying about her friends, studies and all. "Vihuu" I heard few voices along with Preeti's. "Preeti! Where are you?" I asked her suddenly. "I am at home. Why . . ." I heard noises and even Preeti was shouting. After sometime she is back on line, "Sorry sorry" she said.

"Its Vihaan bro and Kaira, with great effort I escaped from them and came to my room" she said panting. "Why?" I blurted. "When they fight we cannot stop them, they are worse than kids. Whoever comes in middle even they get finished" she said with a chuckle. "Why is Kaira at your home at this time?" I asked out of anxiety. "She stays here" Preeti said casually. "Oh! I dont know that. Can you tell me more about her?" I asked wanting to know more about her. If she stays at their home then she too is part of family right?

"Kaira and Vihaan bro are best friends from childhood. They have stayed together in their thick and thin. Kaira lost her parents when she is young and Vihaan bro and his mother made sure that she is part of our family from then. There are no secrets between both of them, like nothing. Such strong is their friendship ..but" she said in flow but stopped. "But?" I questioned her. "She loves Vihaan bro" Preeti said and I was more than shocked. If she loves him why will RV choose me? I thought. "But my bro loves her like a friend only. Even after this incident they are friend and we are family" she said happily and I too breathed knowing the truth.

After talking to Preeti I thought of charging my phone but my mail box popped. Its a mail from Arjun regarding some deal which I should handle, I felt happy as I will not be free now. 

Narrator's POV:

Shikha is working on her laptop in garden of her office when Vihaan joined her. "Hey RV" she greeted with her eyes still on work screen. "You do not have time for me" Vihaan whined gaining her attention. "Its not like that, I was just waiting for you" she said closing her laptop. "Really? After two days we got time to meet and you dont even look at me" he glared at her. 

"I was working and you too do the same while you are working right?" she asked with a puppy face. "No! I never ignore person in front of me when I am working" he said walking away from her. "RV!" she sang his name like song which he likes and held his arm. "Sit here, Lets talk" she suggested and he did. "So what is the important work that you are ignoring your handsome boyfriend?" he asked with an arrogant smirk.

"You know about Mr. Varma's new project?" she asked and he nodded. "I am just busy with that work, we will seal the deal" Shikha said confidently. "Even my company is in the race madam, So its not that easy" Vihaan said in same tone. "Thats good, Its nice to have healthy competition. Now that I know you are also there, I will work hard on my presentation and work" she said. "You will present it?" Vihaan asked in shock. "Yes" she said in confused tone. 

"I expected either Arjun or Raunak will do that. Then your company is not serious about this deal" he commented. "Who will represent your company?" she asked him a bit offended. "Its me! I never let others mess up with big deals. I cannot loose them, you know" he said in his bossy way. "My company trusts me, so they chose me" Shikha said looking into his eyes but he laughed at her. "Seriously that is a great joke from you" Vihaan said holding his stomach and trying not to laugh more.

"Mr. Vihaan Rajneesh. never under estimate someone. You will know when soon when we get it" Shikha challenged. "Oh! You are challenging me. Lets see Ms. Shikha, get ready to loose" Vihaan mocked her. "Lets see" she said smirking at him.

Both of them worked hard but never forgot relation between them despite of this challenge. Vihaan never stopped showing his love and Shikha never missed to care for him. Whenever topic of deal came they fought like enemies but made peace after that.

Vihaan and Shikha reached Varma Galaxy, head office of Varma business empire. "Are you tensed?" Vihaan asked in worry. "A bit" Shikha answered trying to smile. "You will give your best, dont worry" he said squeezing her palm. "If I give my best you will loose Mr. Vihaan" she said playfully. "Over confidence is not good" he advised her. 

When they were about to go into conference hall Arjun came. "Seems like your boss does not trust you. See he came now" Vihaan pointed towards Arjun who is coming towards them. "May be he is here to support me" Shikha guessed. "Hey Vihaan!" Arjun greeted him. "Arjun! Why are you here?" Shikha asked raising her tone. "You are not going to give this presentation" Arjun said making Vihaan laugh and Shikha glared at both of them.

"Why do you think I am not capable? You should give me a chance. I never expected that you do not trust me" Shikha said with tears welling up in her eyes. "Are you crazy? Why will I not trust you? Our company should not participate as Mr. Varma's son Raunak Varma is CEO of our company" Arjun explained. Then Shikha understood the situation and wiped her tears which are threatening to come out.

"Mr. Varma wants everything to be fair, so if your company gets it then it will be like its not fair" Vihaan said in serious tone. "That is why we are backing off" Arjun said. "All the best Vihaan, do not let anyone else get this deal" Shikha said smiling. "I promise you sweet heart, I will not let it go to anyone. This is the first thing you ever asked me, so will get it for you" he said and winked at her. He bid her bye and Arjun took her out.

"I worked hard for it" Shikha said while they are in parking. "Deepu, dont be upset. You look awful" Arjun tried to cheer her. "Its about Deeparshi, our company. Why would I not be upset?" she said making him think. "What if  I say your work is not wasted and we get the deal from other company" Arjun said and Shikha smiled knowing what he is saying about. "Keep smiling like this Deepu, I love to see you like this. And now I am taking you to Atisha as she complained me about you not spending time with her" he said.

"She came back yesterday and I could not meet her due to work. I promised her that I will meet her after meeting but still she complained like a child!! Such a drama queen, Sushanth is gone" She said holding her in her hands to which Arjun smiled. "I want a day off" she said suddenly, "You can have it whenever you want it dear. Even I too will take off with you" Arjun said making Shikha squeal at his words. "After a long time we will have fun" she said clapping.

Next day Atisha, Shikha and Arjun did shopping and gaming which they did after a long time. Even Abhay joined them when they are in game zone, together they played all games till they are exhausted. "I will faint if we wont eat now" Atisha said collapsing in a chair. They ordered a feast of food to satiate their hunger and dug in when food arrived. 

"I miss Souravi" Shikha said filling her mouth with dessert, "I miss my Sushanth" Atisha said dreamily, "I miss my best friend" Arjun commented. Looking at three of them Abhay scratched his head and said "I miss all the people you are missing" which made others smile and Atisha pulled his cheeks. "You are so sweet Abhay" she said. "That is why we are going to work on same case and in same team" he said sheepishly leaving her shocked. He showed her orders which stated what he said.

"Your teammates will go crazy and you both will gets credit of solving the case" Shikha said with a naughty smile. "Thats true" Arjun supported her. "When should we start working?" Atisha asked "In two weeks" Abhay answered paying bill. "Great! I will have good time with you all in this time" Atisha said . . "If you stay here Sushanth will leave you" Abhay pulled her leg making Atisha run after him.

"Vihaan got that deal" Arjun informed Shikha looking at his phone. "Oh" she said and plastered a smile on her face. "Are you not happy for him?" Arjun asked while dropping her home. "I am happy for him but sad for us" she said and got down as they reached home. He observed that her mood was off but did not try to disturb her as Shikha is not someone who wastes time on petty issues. Its about their company so it made her worry. Arjun knows his baby sis well and gave her the space she needed.

A/N: You may felt this chapter little boring but I promise you all next chapter will be great with twists. This chapter is important in this story as many things happened which have after effects.
