Leap of 2 years,

In Delhi, we could see a cabin in an office where two men were having a serious discussion. 

Man: Aman, this year we hired 50 interns for working in our company. Based on their performance we are going to make them permanent. Based on their interest, we have divided them. Those who wanted marketing are in Hyderabad while production ones are here. I hope you don't have any problems.

Aman: Not at all Mr. Ahuja. Anyways, as we signed the new project, the workload is going to increase and having interns will surely be a benefit for our company. By when they will be joining?

Mr. Ahuja: Probably everyone should be coming here by tomorrow. You can extend their working hours as per the workload as we are providing with accommodation nearby, I don't think they would mind spending some extra time here.

Aman just nodded and after having a formal shake-hand, Mr. Ahuja left. Aman told everything to Sanskar for which he replied "good" not knowing the game that destiny is playing with him.

The next morning, all the interns were asked to assemble in the town hall as the CEO is coming to address them. All of them were seated waiting for the CEO. After around 20 minutes, a man entered and as usual, all the girls were drooling over him but there is one soul who is looking at him with tears in her eyes. Finally, she found him, her Sanskar after 24 long months. She felt the urge to go and hug him tightly. 

At that time, Sanskar adorned the stage and as he scanned all the students in the room, his eyes met with Swara's when Swara smiled at him pouring all her pain in it. She expected him to reciprocate the same but to her surprise, she could not find any emotion in his eyes. Immediately Sanskar removed his goggles being shocked finding her here but then ignoring her he addressed the students. 

Sanskar: Good morning to all the young minds here. I am here to tell you guys that now you are into the corporate world and please come out of college mindsets and try to be a little professional. Aman here will be clarifying all your doubts. You can shoot him with any number of questions. Welcome on board.

Saying it he left from there not even giving one glance to Swara which made her more confused. After the question session got completed, all the freshers were allocated a desk for themselves and all the required formalities were being completed. In between all these finding a chance, Swara went to Aman.

Swara: Hi Aman!! 

Till now, he tried to ignore her but now it seemed impossible, so giving an awkward smile, he greeted her: Hey hi Swara!!

Swara: I have to speak with Sanskar.

Aman: I think he is busy.

Swara gave a sly smile: I have been waiting for him since two long years. Can't I wait for a few more hours? No problem, just let me know when he is free.

Aman feeling bad for her just nodded and left from there. Swara then informed Ragini and Laksh and they said they would be there taking the next flight. Sanskar was very much disturbed by seeing his love again. 

Sanskar called Aman to his cabin: Aman, I don't know what you will do, fire Swara immediately.

Aman: sorry Sanskar, that can't be done. All the interns have signed the contract of six months and we can't break it. Most important, Mr. Ahuja has helped us in establishing our headquarters here using his company's name so we can't let him down.

Sanskar ruffling his hair: yar, what is the use now? We didn't use our company's name in Delhi as I didn't want anyone to know that SM group of industries ka headquarters is here. She is here already...(before he completed, he heard a knock on the door)

Both Aman and Sanskar shifted their gaze only to find Swara at the doorstep.

Aman: come in Swara.

Swara: sir, I just came to return the cheque which sir has given us long back in our university auditorium. (she placed the cheque on the table and left from there not even looking at Sanskar)

Whole day, neither Swara nor Sanskar could concentrate on their work. It has been a tough time for Swara to hide her tears from her colleagues. In the evening, Ragini and Laksh directly reached the office from the airport. Seeing her sister, Swara went and immediately hugged her crying.

Swara: di, Sanskar left me by his own wish. Today, I heard when he was speaking with Aman. (crying) He...he doesn't want me in his life di. 

Ragini caressing her forehead: Please don't cry Shona. Once let us meet him.

Leaving Swara in the reception, Aman redirected Ragini and Laksh to Sanskar's cabin. Looking at them Sanskar smiled and gave a shake-hand to Laksh professionally.

Sanskar: Please have your seat. What would you like to have? Tea or coffee?

Laksh: No thanks. What happened Sanskar? Why you left us all of a sudden?

Sanskar smiling: Looks like you both are married. Congratulations and May I know the reason for you being here Mr. and Mrs. Malhothra?

Ragini: Sanskar, why are you behaving like this? you don't know how broken Swara is.. she...

Sanskar: Aman, I have an important meeting now. So, please attend to them. (Saying this he pretended to be busy with a file)

Aman helplessly took them out. 

Laksh: What the hell? How dare he is to behave like that? (To Swara) Shona come back with us. If you want to do a job, you can do it in our company itself. No need to be here.

Ragini: Laksh relax, Sanskar might have his own reasons for behaving like this. (To Aman) Aman, is there anything that we are missing? He is not the Sanskar whom we have known in Mumbai. 

Aman: Sorry Ragini, I can't tell you anything right now. But one thing you all must consider that Swara and Sanskar are destined to be together. I don't think it is a mere coincidence of her getting an internship in this company that too in Delhi. 

Ragini: true Shona, I agree with Aman. This might be the Game of Destiny trying to test your love. Don't give up. I am damn sure that my little tigress will win this game.

Swara composing herself: Ha di, you are right. I will try my best to get our Old Sanskar back.

Bidding bye, Ragini and Laksh left from there while Swara was determined to get her love back. For one whole month, Swara tried a lot to stay close to Sanskar and she did various things to remind him of their beautiful time, of course, Aman helped her too but that didn't affect Sanskar not even a bit at least he pretended not to be affected but only he knows how much he is controlling himself to not show any emotion because he didn't want to give any false hope to that innocent soul.

One such day, Sanskar entered into the lift for going to the seventh floor where he had his cabin, Swara too came in running at the last moment as she had to swipe her id card by 9 and it is already 8:55. Sanskar just shook his head in disbelief as he would never encourage his employees to break office rules.

Swara: Good morning sir!! (for which she didn't get any reply). (To herself) Swara, this is a very good chance, not always you get Mr. Sanskar Maheshwari alone. Come on tell your feelings to him. (Swara pressed seven and turned towards him)

Swara: San...(suddenly, the lights went off and the lift stopped with a jerk by which Swara fell on Sanskar and held his hand in fear. Immediately Sanskar moved away from her and dialed Aman's number)

Sanskar: Aman, I am stuck in the lift. Turn on the generator now.

Aman: Oh god!! Are you alone?

Sanskar: hmmm...no Swara is with me.

Aman: Great.

Sanskar: What??

Aman: I will ask the watchman to switch on the generator. (saying this he cuts the call smiling and instructed the electrician that the lift must be ready only after 30 minutes.)

Inside the lift, Swara and Sanskar were standing and Swara was staring at Sanskar while he was looking everywhere other than her. After 5 minutes, he again called Aman.

Aman: sorry Sanskar, there is some issue with the motor of the lift, our electrician is looking into the matter. So, it may take a while.

(Not waiting for the reply from his grumpy friend, Aman cuts the call.)

Sanskar irritated: don't know whose face I have seen early in the morning.

Swara giggled for which she earned glares from Sanskar. And he got busy on his phone while Swara pouts.

Swara(in mind): here I am dying to get some private time with him but he is busy on his mobile. What he is doing? I will kill him if he is having a girlfriend...

Frustrated, she pulled the phone from his hand. 

Sanskar: what the hell Swara give my phone back.

Swara nodded in no and she hid it behind her.

Sanskar: I said give my phone back.

Swara: take it if you want.

Sanskar started moving towards her while she moved back, her heartbeat rising until she hits the wall of the lift. Sanskar held Swara's hands tightly and he pulled the phone. In minutes, it was back in his hands. He moved back with a smirk.

Swara held his hand looking into his eyes: Sanskar, you remembered the day when we were sitting in the beach and looking at little kids making castles in the sand. That day you were telling me about your childhood memories and in every sentence, you either spoke about your mom or your sister. And when you were speaking about them, there was this spark in your eyes, which is missing now. I don't know what is the reason behind it and I don't mind if you don't want to share it with me either. I am sure one day I will be in your list of trusted people and I am ready to wait for that day (There was no reply from Sanskar)

Swara holding his hand and also cupping his right cheek which he didn't resist: Sanskar, I don't know when and how this happened...I am madly in love with you. Maybe I couldn't give as much love as your mother did but at least I can try. Will you please give me one single chance to be your side forever? I promise I won't let you regret your decision☺

Both are looking at each other with so many emotions. Though Aman tried a lot, the lift opened at the wrong time breaking their eye lock and Sanskar freeing himself started leaving from there but Swara held his hand: Sanskar, please...

Sanskar: Swara, what you want could never happen. So please after your internship, resign from this company and move on in your life.

Swara wiped her tears: so, you don't love me...(coming infront of him) you never missed me in all these years😢

Sanskar nodded in no and he left from there. Swara was just standing there like a lifeless body but people who witnessed this started bad-mouthing her.

Person1: I know very well about such girls who want to do anything for money. See, how she tried to get closer to boss that too in the lift. Shameless.

Person2: ya and also boss should have shown her actual place which is outside this office...

Hearing it Swara closed her eyes tightly while Aman shouted: just shut up everyone and get back to your work. I want to see everyone at their desk within 5 minutes.

Everyone left and Swara started moving too, ignoring Aman who was trying to talk to her.

After about half an hour Swara approached Aman with a piece of paper in her hand.

Aman: Swara...

Swara: here is my resignation letter. I am breaking the contract and here is the cheque of the money that needs to be paid if we break the contract.

Internship is something few companies offer before giving a job to a person inorder to see the capacity of their employees and there would be a bond which need to be signed before joining and if he/ she breaks it then there is certain amount that the person need to pay for the company and vice versa. 

What do you guys thinks Swara will be leaving Sanskar?
