Thoughts and Wonders

Bella woke early the next morn, well before the yellow star began to rise to wake the rosters of Winterfell. Arabella used this time to get a bath for herself and think of what is to possibly come. Bella felt her muscles loosen in the hot water.

She closed her eyes and let her thoughts run free. She thought about her possible marriage. How she will never see her family again, besides Sansa hopefully, well if Jaime is to remain at Kingslanding. However even that is to not be the case. Bella and her husband will be sent off to Casterly Rock to live out the rest of their lives. Hers to give Jaime heirs, Jaime's to take over for Tywin Lannister as Lord. Arabella wished more than anything that Jaime would take her input in and think of her more than a baby maker. She even hopes that someday he and her can love each other like her parents do, and like his did before his mother's death.

She thought about how the queen glared at her upon meeting her. Was it because of how she looked like her Aunt Lyanna, or for her possible marriage to the Queen's brother. Arabella would never know, at least not anytime soon.

Weather she knew Winter was coming, and the wolves would be separated from one another and like the saying goes A lone wolf dies, the pack survives.

When the water grew cold Bella quickly washed her body, she never washed her hair alone, as even as a child she had to have it washed with a special soap. She rose from the bath and dried herself.

She quickly dressed herself for the day ahead, and yet the sun had yet to rise. She opened her door and peered around. Not a soul in sight, she took this time to go back to her room and grab the leash for Mystic. She and Mystic quickly walked out of her room and made a route to the castle gardens. She was almost bound to her freedom with her pup when she walked into something hard, and somewhat soft. Before she could fall back, she was gripped softly around her arms but two kind hands.

"Now, what is a young lady doing roaming the castle's this early in the morn," a voice called out.

"Oh, I'm sorry Ser Jaime for bumping into you. I could not sleep any longer and wished to see the gardens, and watch the yellow star rise," she answered looking up to face the man she had bumped into.

"Would you like some company, I have yet to see the gardens here, and I have only heard of their beauty. Plus, it would not be wise to let a lady walk around unguarded," Jaime tells the young woman. Jaime was unsure as to why he suddenly wished to spend time with the woman, as his sister was the love of his life, but something about Arabella Stark make him feel like there was more to her than meets the eye. Arabella smiled at the Ser in front of her. Her light purple eyes twinkling with happiness and excitement.

"I would, be a fool not to accept the company of Ser who is as handsome as you," her smile growing only more as he chuckled at her complement.

"Well then, Lady Stark, lead the way," Jaime told her holding his arm out for her. She accepted the arm and walked with Jaime to her left and Mystic on her right.

"Ser Jaime, may I ask some questions? To get to know you better," Bella asked almost unsure of herself.

"Only if I might ask some in return," he replied.

"What is Kingslanding like,"

"It's a place that once held many beauties, but now I fear it is a place that looks as it smells. Like shit. There are many people who are only out for themselves and are not to be trusted. I fear that you won't fair well there, Lady Stark. Thankfully there will be others in your family there with you. I will be there as well, but I'm not too sure you should trust me," He tells her trying to be truthful. He again was unsure of himself, as to why did he want to be truthful to her. Why did he want to protect her from the shit place that was Kingslanding? He should be more concerned of his sister and their children, and yet here he was spending time with the beauty of the north and her pet.

"I think you are more trust worthy than you think you are Ser," Bella states looking over the man beside her. This was the man who was named Kingslayer, and yet she felt safer with him than most. She could see some torment within his face but was unsure as to what he was conflicted about.

"I fear that trust may cost you your life one day my lady," he tells her looking down to the left, "Now tell me Lady Arabella, is it true that you are reader like my younger brother".

"Yes, Ser, it is. I often spent most time in the library and some time doing the duties of a woman, and when not too busy some of a man. Please call be Bella, I feel as though my name itself can be a mouthful,"

"Fine, Lad- Bella. So not only are you well read, but a fighter as well. A prize to any man willing enough to take you as his wife. I fear I may not be so worthy of the honor,"

"You seem to be more than worse Ser. You defended an entire country against a mad man who wished for nothing more than to see it burn,"

"You are wise, please call me Jaime. We are to be married someday,"

"This is true," she tells him as they come to the door that opens to the gardens. Jaime being the good lord, opened the door and allowed the lady and her wolf though the door before joining them and closing the door. He had to admit that while the garden was smaller than the one back home, but it was much more pretty. The air smelt much better too.

"Jaime would you care to join me on the bench," Bella stated as she sat down on a bench that over looked her home and the land surrounding it. Jaime sat down next to her as she let her wolf off its leash. The wolf quickly ran off to enjoy it time outside.

"Your wolf seems to be like you in some ways. She enjoys freedom when she gets it,"

"Don't all people do," she said with a smile she looked over the land as the yellow sun started making its way up.

Jaime noticed how she looked when the sun light began to hit her face, hair, and eyes. He could swear that he saw the Targaryen purple in them earlier. Her face seemed to glow as did her hair, but he was sure that it was simply the light playing tricks on him. As the sun had fully risen all he could do was stare at her and her smiling face and feel all his stresses dissipate. Maybe what his brother said was true. Maybe she was the one made only for him.
