The Storm Has Come

Jamie and Arabella had a night full of passion. Only to awaken the next morning, with a feeling of dread. After breakfast is done, Jaime went out to see what his duties for the day would be, while Arabella went to check on her sisters. Arabella found Sasha with the prince oh, and thought it would be best to leave her alone at this time. On her way to find Arya, she passed a cat that seemed to be running away from something, not long after Arabella found her sister. Arya told her as cicero I told her that chasing a cat would help, for cats are quick on their feet. Arabella laughed at this and offered to help, but Arya declined stating that she needs to do this on her own. Arabella took her leave with a chuckle, Quickly walked into Lord Varys.

To Arabella Lord Varys always seemed very interesting, she felt that he had a different motive than most people within the capital. He was not one that she felt she could trust unless it was to benefit himself, but she knew he always had a finger in some type of pot. Lord Tyrion had told her prior to him leaving that Lord Varys is with someone that she should trust with very little. But if it came between Lord of Varys and Lord Baelish she would pick Lord Varys very quickly.

"Lady Lannister," he said, '' how are you on this fine morning"

"quite well actually thank you for your concern. How are you doing? Lord Varys I haven't seen since my wedding. Spinning some webs I wonder," she asked with a grin.

"I've been quite busy, you know. I heard that your father has come across something that I would recommend he keeps to himself, but alas what do I know," he said with a smirk.

"I would say quite a lot, Lord Varys. I must admit, I agree with you in that sentence, but I have no more control of my father, than I do of my husband at this point"

"You have more pull than you know my dear, and don't let anyone tell you otherwise. I know a storm is coming, and you should prepare for the fall out," he told her.

"I will try my lord,"

"My lady, if I may. I would recommend staying away from your husband tonight. I fear that he will not take kindly to a Stark in his room,"

"What do you know, Lord Varys,"

"I know that your father is injured, and your husband had something to do with it,"

"He found out about Lord Tyrion, didn't he,"

"I'm afraid so,"

"I told father that Lord Tyrion had nothing to do with my brother's fall. Lord Tyrion did not seem like the person to do it as he was kind to everyone, even my brother who most ignore or treat badly,"

"My lady, I have noticed something over my time knowing you and hearing about you. I wonder if it has any truth to it,"

"Shall we take this to a more private setting,"

"Yes, come with me. I know a place where walls do not have ears, well no ears that I myself did not place,"

After a short walk they were down in the passages where the dragon's heads are kept.

"I heard long ago that Jon and you were brought to Winterfell together, and yet you were raised as a noble and Jon was not,"

"Yes, Jon and I always assumed we were twins, but it was never confirmed by father or mother. They never celebrated our birthdays together,"

"I have wondered the truth between Lord Stark's claim of Jon's true parentage. I do not believe that he would step out on his family,"

"That I could not tell you, as I myself do not know,"

"My lady, I would recommend keeping what you know to yourself, and someone you can trust. Not me,"

"I have no one that I trust, my brother, but he's so far away he couldn't do anything to help to stop it,"

"My lady this has been a wonderful chat, I wish you luck in your future. If you ever need to get out of the castle I recommend coming down here and following the tunnels. If you should need a key is found in the eye facing the gate. I would recommend taking it with you when you leave, as there is only one, and I feel like it should be yours. If you need someone to trust, might I recommend the handmaiden I sent you. She seems like a great judge of character," he said with a smile walking away and leaving Arabella down under the keep.

When she knew he was gone, she checked for the key to find the truth to his words. When she found it, right where he said it was, she placed it back and prayed to the seven that she would never need to use it.

When she was back in the Red Keep, the halls were buzzing with noise. Whispers, looks, glares, and pointing. Arabella held her head tall and walked as if she hadn't heard a thing. She neared her room and saw Amelia outside the door.

"My lady, where have you been. I have been looking all over for you," she said with a look of displeasure on her face.

"I went for a morning walk, I didn't mean to be gone for long. I apologize for making you worry Ameila," Bella replied.

"My first day without Agatha, and you run off. How did she ever manage you," she asked with a smirk.

"Trust me the poor woman could not keep up at all,"

"I'll believe that one,"

"Is Jaime in there,"

"No, I heard what happened. The keep was buzzing with all the noise," Ami said.

"Well let's go in, I have a feeling that the storm is closer than we think, and we should try and prepare," Arabella said, opening the door to her room. Arabella packed a small bag with a knife and light dress and pants. As she was looking in her truck she noticed the letter her father gave her. She remembered to keep it safe and hidden. She placed it in her bag, to take with her if the time came to leave. She would keep her boots on her at all times.

"Should I be concerned," Ami asked.

"No, I just have a feeling that things are going to get back before they get worse, and I want to make sure we can get out if the time comes," Arabella explains.

"Let's put it under the bed for now," Ami states, "I'll always be nearby and I can grab it quickly if I need to," Ami said grabbing the bag from Bella and placing it under the bed away from prying eyes.

Arabella went to walk over to Ami to ask her another question when the doors to the room opened with a bang and her husband walked in, fury written on his face and it was about to be directed at her. Arabella gave Ami a nod, letting her know she could go, it was okay. Ami stood where she was next to the bed refusing to leave her lady alone with a Lion who looked murderous.

"Did you know," Jaime yelled, closing the doors to the room.

"Know what exactly, I know many things, you'll have to be more specific," Arabella asked, knowing her sarcasm was not going to give her any help in diffusing the situation.

"Don't play coy with me, Arabella. I am far from being in the mood," he told her, his voice cold and angry.

"What is it that I know, Jaime," she asked the fire in her eyes coming out ready to fight.

"About Tyrion. Your mother took him as a prisoner and brought him to the Eyrie," he got in her face yelling his frustrations at her.

"No, I did not. Believe me if you will, because I know you won't. Did you attack my father," she questioned back getting into his face as well. Her eyes get more fiery as the fight continues.

"I did, but he would not tell me where my brother is. I am going to look for him. You are going to stay here in the Keep until I return, do you understand me," he tells her, still angry but he will not take it out on his wife. That was one thing his father had taught him as a young boy, and watching the past king treat his queen as badly when he was angry. He vowed to never attack his wife, should he had one, out of anger of another person's cause.

"I will stay, until I feel threatened. Then I will leave, you know your sister will come after me, with you not here,"

"She will not attack you openly," he tells her, hoping to calm her fears.

"You think that,"

"Let me rephrase, she will not harm you, due to fear of upsetting our father. If you are with my child, my heir, and she harms you. Father will make it the last thing she ever does. Trust in that fear," he tells her.

"I will stay until I feel threatened, I will take Ami with me and go into hiding until I know I can come out,"

"If it would make you feel safer than that is fine, but please do not do anything rash,"

"No promises, Jaime,"

"I will see you soon, I have to go save my brother. I hope by then we can figure out if we are expecting or not," Jaime tells her before grabbing some items and walking out the room.

"So how long are we expecting this peace to last," Ami asks still present in the room

"Give it a week, max. Then its chaos, and madness," Bella states.

~~The next day~~

The king has returned from his hunt, fatally wounded, and the smell of death prominent in the room. He demanded that the war be stopped now and he would like to write his last will and testament with his friend. After the will was written and the king had passed. The court was gathered for the reading. That's when all the madness and chaos started. Her father was arrested, and the knights were searching for the girls. Arabella included, but she was to be placed in the dungeon and hanged for treason. If she was caught, you see the queen claimed that Arabella was working with her father, and Lord Baelish was quick to help with the claim. Stating that she was wanting her father to be king and to help the North claim the south as its own.

When Arabella heard she was already near the hallway under the keep and Ami had already grabbed her bag, knowing that this was going to happen. The two women made haste to the dragon's eye, grabbing the key to unlock the gate before going through and locking it back, keeping the key with them. The pair followed the hallways until they were met with sunlight. When they came to the end of the walkway they were in a colosseum of some sort.

"This is where they held the dragons," Ami explained. No one comes here anymore, we should be safe until tomorrow, but let's get you changed out of this gown and into something less lady-like."

Arabella:

Arabella changed into her packed outfit, and placed her knife on her hip, keeping it close. Arabella and Ami walked around the arena looking to see if anything had been left behind that they could use. They checked the places where the dragons were kept, and found something of interest. 2 unhatched dragon eggs, one blue, the other red. Arabella wondered if maybe they couldn help later either selling them or keeping them as a memory of another time. Ami said that the eggs could catch a fine price if anything and they were not heavy to carry. They quickly placed the 2 eggs in the bag Arabella was going to carry as they had already emptied it of the clothes that were packed. They planned on using Arabella's previously worn dress to help light torches on the way to the North where her family was going to be, and where Arabella would be safe in the upcoming war.
