Sanskar turned to look at Ragini in bewilderment clenching his fist. Same was the condition everyone present over in the garden. All heads turned towards her passing ridiculous glare.
"Yes, Sanskar she is the one who planned your accident. She wants to..." Ragini took threatening step towards Swara. Her eyes had turned charcoal red, her obsession for Sanskar took charge of her sanity.
"Enough! Dare you say a word against my wife" Sanskar roared shooting death glares at Ragini. He took a step shielding Swara behind his back.
"Ragini how could you blame Shona for an accident?" Anurag came in defense for his daughter.
Swara was dumbstruck with Ragini's words. It took few moments for her mind to processed Ragini's blame. She was rooted at her place in blank mode, she could see Sanskar's back protecting her from evil eyes.
For Swara it was always shattering to listen everyone's taunts and blames from her childhood. She had listened accusations for her mother at every step of her life. She hated the fact that outer world always judged her based on her mother's deeds. Over the years she had built strong walls around her true self safeguarding her heart but even today one blame, one taunt, one accusation was enough to break her reminding her entire painful past.
"Wife...come on Sanskar, how you can blindly believe her? She is bloody murderer" Ragini hated when Sanskar reposted back. His arrogance and anger filled voice engulfed her heart with fear, but her delusional mind was restricting her from taking step back.
"Just stop it right now Ragini. Don't try to test my patience" Sanskar was in his most furious mode.
"Ragini watch your words. And don't forget where you are standing?" Sujata seconded Sanskar. She could not hear anything against her daughter.
"Ragini what are you talking about?" Divya was horrified with revelations.
Divya's support was always one plus point for Ragini, she smiled inwardly.
"Laddoo, keep quiet" Sharmishtha tried to shush her daughter.
Ram was taken a back with Ragini's sudden unexpected outburst.
Shekhar and Parvati were looking at their daughter with open mouth in astonishment. Over last three months they had seen her obsessions for Sanskar but it was always inside their home it was for the first time her psychic disorder was coming in front of any outsider. Gadodia family were scared about spoiling their daughters' image in front of public. Surely, her current lunatic behaviour would boost public talks about their daughter which was already high after her marriage breaking news with Sanskar.
Siddhant rubbed his fingers over his forehead in frustration shaking his head. This girl standing in front of him was ruining all his planning's and efforts to give major blow to his enemy for her obsession. Everything was going according to his plans but right now he could see his castle of dreams falling down in front of his eyes being helpless. He clenched his fist to control his anger, he needed to maintain calm as he could not let anyone knew his true face.
"Aunty why did you put blind fold on your eyes? She is destroying this household more precisely your son. Why don't you ask your lovely daughter in law if she had taken Sanskar's signatures on some papers betraying him which caused him huge set back in his work." Ragini spitted out venomously details which she had earlier got to know from Sahil. He had informed her about the mess Swara had created with resource allocation papers knowingly to increase her fury. But Ragini splitting out all these today was the most unexpected thing for him.
Swara felt stream of tears falling down on her cheeks recalling her betrayal which she had completely forgotten over last couple of weeks.
"We don't need to ask her anything. And this is something nobody should interfere as this is husband and wife's matter. So stay away from my son and my daughter in law's married life" Ram announced his decision in stern voice.
But Ragini's one statement grabbed every bit of Sanskar's attention. He turned to look at Sahil with scrunched eyebrows. 'How does she know about it? Is Sahil behind this? You have just dug a grave for yourself my lovely brother.' He clenched his fist which was ready to punch his cousin's jaw line. He closed his eyes tightly to control his anger, 'No Sanskar this is not the right time, control. You need to wait for the right time to break his bones.'
"Ragini get your facts clear. This is between me and my wife, I don't think I owe any explanations for it to anyone." Sanskar retorted back as right now he needed to focus on this psycho girl.
"Sanskar trust me she tried to kill you in Kolkatta. It was not an accident. It was all done by her." Ragini raised her finger once again at Swara.
"Ragini take back your words for my Shona. I can understand your miseries but that does not mean you will blame my daughter unnecessarily" Anurag warned.
"Ragini you sound really confident. I am sure you would have gathered list of proofs so what proof do you have to support your allegations?" Neil asked sarcastically and joined his best friend for shielding Swara. He himself did not realise when Swara became his sister by choice.
"Proof? Of course, she was calling Sanskar continuously before his accident just to know about his location. Am I right Swara?" Ragini spitted out one more detail derived from Sahil.
Swara was calling Sanskar continuously was one of the major evidences Siddhant wanted to put forward against Swara to support his allegations. But his son who was occupied with his own phantasm blurted out all their planning's and plotting's to this delusional headed girl who was right now smashing his dreams to finish his enemy on emotional grounds. He closed his eyes taking deep breath. His own son was behind his catastrophe for the day.
"And you call this as proof? Are you hearing yourself Ragini? Of course, she will call him. Afterall he is her legally wedded husband" Neil replied in disbelief passing humorous chuckle.
"Why don't you all believe me she is the one who tried to kill Sanskar. Please for god sake why will I lie to all?" Ragini was frustrated with the stand taken by everyone. She turned her concentration to Divya, her age-old trump card ignoring pleadings from her mother and grandmother.
"Yes Aunty, whatever I said is absolutely right. At least you please trust me. I always consider this family as mine. I loved Sanskar with my heart I can never think any bad for him. I accepted his marriage with Swara as I thought he loved her and for his happiness I convinced my crumbled heart, but she is ruining him Divya Aunty. I cannot let her any harm to Sanskar" Ragini started shedding crocodile tears, realising her cards were not working as per her desire.
Swara took a step towards Sanskar's back, unknowingly her hand raised to clutch his kurta in her fist. Sanskar felt her hold on his back. He turned towards her who was standing bowing her head. He dropped his shoulder looking at her tears. He cupped her face and wiped her tears with his thumb nodding his head in negative. He wrapped his arms around her petit figure to pull her closer to his heart caressing her hairs.
"Swara what Ragini is saying? Is this true?" Divya found one more reason to hate Swara.
"This is all bullshit. Swara could never hurt me. She would never break my trust. I trust her more than anybody else in this world. In fact, I trust her more than I trust on my own self." Sanskar tighten his grip over Swara firing his death glare to his aunt.
Anurag felt swelling on his heart looking at Sanskar protecting his daughter from evils.
Swara raised her head to look at his face which was glowing with determination. His eyes were shining with unexplainable emotions. She felt secured in his arms. This was the safest place on the earth for her.
"And Ms. Ragini Shekhar Gadodia, you will pay for whatever you have done for today. You have brought tears in Swara's eyes which I hate the most in this world. This is my promise to you start counting your days" Sanskar's cold yet endangered voice boomed in the surroundings which was declaring upcoming storm for Gadodia family.
"Shekhar take your daughter out of my sight else it won't be good for you and your family. Nobody can stand in my house and bad mouth about my daughter. She is the pride of this house" Ram intimidated.
"Sanskar at least listen what Ragini is saying" Divya tried to support Ragini. She was also scared for the first-time looking at her nephew's menace avatar. She could not believe her anti- social nephew could go in his over possessive mode for the girl wrapped in his embrace.
"I don't need to Aunty. Hearing Ragini over trusting Swara never ever in my dreams. And you stay out of my married life. Don't forget you are talking about my wife. Whatever I said to this psycho girl same applied to you as well. Don't make me cross my limits, I will forget what relation I share with you," Sanskar dismissed with no nonsense tone. He turned and started moving inside home along with Swara.
"Bhai, Bhabhi atleast you too" Divya ignored Sanskar's warnings.
"Divya, we don't need too" Sujata replied in firm tone.
"What magic she had done on all of you, I don't understand. How can you forget she is a daughter of that betrayer Reva Mehra. She destroyed her own family. She was such a shame on womanhood to leave her husband and family for her own pleasures and lust..." Swara halted in her tracks hearing Divya's outburst.
Sanskar felt her trembling and icy cold body in his hold.
"Swara let's go inside" Sanskar wrapped his arms around her shivering figure. He took her inside away from all evil. They could hear loud voices from garden but Swara had already slipped in her shell. He passed murderous glare to Sahil but right now his priority was Swara, she needed him the most.
"Divya enough. Not a word against my Reva" Anurag roared first time earlier he was trying to control his fury. His eyes were the witness of the love and care showered over his daughter by her husband's family "you are such an awful person even to take her name. You are not even worth of it."
"Divya don't cross your limits" Ram warned her again.
"Why? What is wrong Divya beti had said? That orphan girl destroyed your life. She was such a curse; we don't even know whose dirty blood she had. She was just running behind the one who threw some money in front of her" Parvati despised Reva making disgusting face.
"Mrs. Parvati Gadodia, you people with such a low mentality would never understand the pious soul like Reva. But it is useless to talk about her with people like you. So please leave my home at this instant. And doors of Maheshwari House are closed for you forever. Dare you step in this house again." Sujata retorted back even before Anurag.
"Bhabhi they are my guest. You cannot insult them" Divya supported Gadodia's as usual.
"And they are standing in MY HOME Divya. Don't forget this is MY home. Nobody can insult my best friend and my daughter in this house. Whoever dared to even think they should step out at this moment. I will not keep any ties with the people who would insult my Reva." Sujata stormed with fire glazing eyes.
"Your home" Divya was stunned to listen Sujata imposing her rights for the first time.
"Get out Shekhar and never dare to step in this house. Trust me Shekhar I won't even think twice to ruin your family if you even eye on our house" Ram ordered.
Swara and Sanskar came back to their room. Sanskar could feel her vulnerable state, she looked lost. Just in few minutes she had lost all her charm. Her eyes which were shining few moments back had turned empty and teary. He made her sit on the bed and was getting up to get her some water. But She tighten her hold on his shirt even in blank mode.
"I... I ... I didn't... Trust me Sanskar ...I can never think to harm you like this" Swara mumbled against his chest when she felt him going away from her.
"Swara I know that dear. I said right, I trust you more than anyone else out there." Sanskar replied caressing her cheek which was on his chest.
"I know I betrayed you. I broke your trust but trust me this time...I did not...I can...I can never ever think to harm you even in my dreams ... I can never think of like this..." Swara became hysteric. Her mind was not processing Sanskar's words but only Ragini's blames and Divya's taunts were stabbing her tormented heart.
"Swara...Swara... Listen...Listen to me" Sanskar tried to bring her back out of her shell.
"I cannot even live without you...I would die if anything happened to you... You have become my breath. You have become my weakness. Trust me Sanskar. I can never think of harming you. I felt lifeless when Neil talked about your accident. I ...Please trust me... Don't leave me please... please trust me" Swara became hysteric, 'What if Sanskar would not trust me? I had already broken his trust once. What if he would go away from me? What if he pushes me out of his life? What if he started hating me?' Swara's mind was occupied with every negative thought.
"I trust you Swara, more than any other thing in this world. I know you can never ever think to harm me because we are soulmates. We are born for each other, there is lot ... I don't know how to explain that to you but trust me Swara. I know you more than anybody. Our souls are connected, our heart beats only for each other. Just keep one think in your mind I am all yours. I will never leave you. I am always there with you no matter what" Sanskar stared at her eyes cupping her face in his palms. He moved forward to keep his lips on her forehead to seal their promise. He felt stream of tears on his cheeks looking at vulnerable Swara.
Swara felt his lips on her forehead assuring about his trust over her. His assurance helped her to come out of her shell. He kept his lips on her forehead for little longer pulling her more to his chest which engulfed her with relief.
"Then why did she say like this?" Swara asked innocently.
"To hell with her. Just don't care what everyone thinks and do. But I care for you my dear. You are my life, my happiness, my soul when you are there, I feel I am alive. Just don't do this with yourself. Don't let others impact you Swara. You are my firecracker Swara right who does not give any shit to anyone" Sanskar assured her cupping her face.
"She called me betrayer because of that woman, right Sanskar?" Sanskar looked at her, she looked like small little innocent girl who had faced harsh words in her tender age. He pulled her back in his embrace, "She destroyed my childhood Sanskar. Even after so many years her betrayal haunt me. She ruined our life. She is still ruining our life. I hate her. I hate her the most. Why did she even come in our life? I hate myself that I am a part of her." Swara kept on mumbling her hatred keeping her head on his chest.
Sanskar just kept on caressing her hairs without interrupting, 'She need to take out her anguish, else it will keep killing her from inside.'
"Swara" Sujata called standing at their room door. She had heard Swara's hateful words.
Swara raised her head to look at her mother-in-law followed by Ram, Anurag, Dev, Nandini, Neil and Samaira.
"Mom trust me I can never think of" Swara fumbled bowing her head.
Sujata took seat beside her, caressing her hairs with motherly love.
"I know you can never hurt anyone Swara because you are daughter of my Reva." Swara looked at her with dumbfound face. Sujata continued holding her hand in her's, "You are just like her, her reflection. She is the most pious, humble, selfless and loving lady I have ever met in my entire life Swara."
It was for the first time Swara was hearing praised words for her mother. Sujata's eyes were reflecting her love, her care and mostly unfathomable trust for her mother.
"My Reva can never betray any of her relation Swara. She always craved for relations as she never had any. Nobody knew the values and importance of family more than her. Looking at her I learned how to value our relations, she taught me how to bind families in closely knit bond. She loved and cared for every single living being who came in her contact. She never differentiated her love and care based on anyone's status, she loved everyone selflessly. She helped everyone without keeping any expectations. She knew what family means as she never had any in her childhood. She always used to admire me, Ram, Anurag, Dev during our college days as we had some one waiting for us in our home. She always longed to have her own home. Anurag gave her family. Because of her selfless loving and caring nature, Annindham Uncle and Gargi Aunty accepted her after initial reluctance. She loved Anurag more than her life. You were her precious possession. Don't hate my Reva. Don't hate her beta." Sujata was crying her heart out for her best friend.
Swara was stunned to hear such things about her mother for the first time. She could see the same trust and love in Sujata's eyes which she always hated to see in her father's eyes. She turned to look at other side, it was Sanskar he was also shocked to hear about her mother.
"Sujata is absolutely correct Swara. Reva could never even think to hurt anyone. Even if anybody had hurt her, she used to love that person with core of her heart. Don't believe on the ruckus created by this outside big bad world for innocent lady like Reva." Nandini kneeled down in front of Swara.
Swara turned to look at every member present in her room. She could see love, respect and mostly trust in each and every person's eyes for the woman she hated till today.
"Swara, I accept we failed as a family for Reva, and I would never forgive myself for it. We failed to find her whereabouts, but I will never accept that Reva WILLINGLY walked away leaving behind her family, her marriage and her most precious possession that is you just for some ridiculous reasons. Her disappearance was mystery but not betrayal for sure." Sujata's determined voice earned every bit of Swara's attention.
"Sujata Bhabhi is right Swara, don't believe on these claims...those are not true at least in case of Reva Bhabhi." Dev seconded; he had wrapped his arm around Anurag for support.
Neil, Samaira and Sanskar were experiencing plethora of emotions.
"Swara Beta, if I say I can understand what you would had gone through during your childhood then I would be the wrong person. We all know how much you must have suffered but you know what you are a very strong girl. But Beta, trust me each and every person standing here will tell you that we never believed that Reva could betray anyone...Betraying Anurag impossible. She loved him beyond all limits. But still we lost her and till today we don't know, where is she? But still we are trying our best to find her...and we have not lost our hope to find her... one day she will be with us." Ram kept his palm on her head.
Anurag stared at his daughter; she did not withdraw herself from discussions unusual to her regular stance. He was the only living witness of her age-old hatred for her mother.
"Now wipe your tears and come downstairs for dinner. You must be hungry" Sujata said controlling her emotions wiping Swara's teara. "Sanskar bring her down."
All families had dinner together Neil, Samaira, Uttara and Niren tried to relax the tensed environment but Swara was lost in her own thoughts.
After bidding bye to everyone Swara and Sanskar came back to their room, Swara changed herself in night suit and was standing in the balcony gazing at stars. Everyone's words about her mother were replaying on her mind.
Sanskar came out from washroom to see empty bedroom, he saw Swara standing in balcony.
"What are you doing here?" Sanskar asked keeping his palm on her shoulder.
Swara turned to look at him. She wrapped her hands around his waist, keeping her head on his chest. Sanskar enclosed her in his embrace caressing her hairs with one hand.
"You need a nice sleep Swara." Sanskar said after few minutes of silence.
"Mom said she was a good lady, everyone said good things about her... first time I heard something positive for her...but she left me alone when I needed her the most. She ruined our small family. Because of her I cannot trust anyone. I cannot believe in love and marriages. I hate her Sanskar" Swara mumbled against his chest.
Sanskar felt wetness on his shirt, his wife was again fighting battle between mind and heart.
Sanskar did not say a word but brought her inside their room and made her sit on bed settling beside her wrapping her in his side embrace.
"Swara over the days, I understood one thing for every event happen in our life there are two views... one is from our mind and other is from our heart. Our mind evaluates facts, figures, proofs and then comes to any conclusion and that's why his voice is loud and clear. But our heart, it does not have any proofs or facts to prove his stand but somewhere it is based on our bonding's, cohesion, solidarity so it's voice always gets supressed in front of our mind. But at the end it is our heart who always wins this battle." Sanskar tried to explain.
Swara raised her head from his chest to stare at his dark brown orbs with confusion.
"Just take our own example, we both believed on the fact which were there in front of our eyes ignoring plea from our hearts. My heart always used whisper that you can never betray me, but I believed on the voice of my mind. I believe, same would have happened with you as well. And look we both are together when we started hearing whispers of our hearts." Sanskar reminded her about their journey.
"Do you want to say my hatred for that woman was all wrong?" Swara asked being exhausted.
"Why do you want to jump on any direct conclusion? Just take small steps. Try to understand her from other's perspective. Swara, you need to agree that Mom, Anu Papa, Dad, Dev Uncle, Nandini Aunty had spent more time with her than you. You were just 5 years old...a small little girl who can hardly read alphabets how can you read anyone's heart at that young age?" Sanskar reasoned out.
"I am tired Sanskar, my whole childhood everyone gossiped at my back about her and now also they say that because I am her daughter ..." Swara snuggled in his protective embrace.
"Then ask them to fuck off... you are my strong Swara right. Give them back with interest the way you always do" Sanskar pulled her while giving his emotional support.
"Will you please be with me?" Swara asked innocently.
"Of course, where will I go? You are my home Swara. You are my destination." Sanskar kept his lips on her forehead passing his strength and love and continued "Swara we have enemies out there; we need to fight this battle till the time we finish them. I need you as my support. Your one smile is my strength, but your one tear weakens my knees."
"I will always be with you, being your shadow" Swara confessed with small smile.
"I want you to be with me as my heartbeat" Sanskar stared intently at her face.
"Yes" Swara snuggled in his embrace clutching his shirt in her fist.
Sanskar kept on caressing her hairs saying soothing words to calm her mind and heart. Soon she slipped in deep slumber.
Sanskar took a phone in hand and typed message, 'what is the progress?'
'Just giving finishing touches' Sanskar received message from Roger which brought devil smirk on his face. He kept mobile back on nightstand. He closed his eyes not before pecking Swara's hairs once.
Next day Sanskar woke up, he saw Swara sleeping soundly in his embrace. He slowly made her sleep on pillow and got up from bed. He changed and came downstairs, after almost three weeks he thought to take a round in the garden.
"Sujata, I don't know but I feel history is repeating itself again" Sanskar was going towards garden when he heard his father's perplexed voice who was enjoying his morning tea at patio.
"What do you mean by that Dad?" Sanskar asked taking his seat beside his mother.
"How is Swara? Where is she?" Sujata asked pouring his black coffee in mug.
"Mom she is sleeping. She is ok...last day's event left huge scar on her. I thought not to disturb her." Sanskar took sip from his coffee.
"Why don't you take her somewhere for couple of weeks? You both need a break" Ram suggested.
"Dad, I am thinking the same... of course not for couple of weeks but at least for couple of days I will for sure." Sanskar agreed and continued, "But Dad what were you saying about history?"
Ram and Sujata exchanged looks which was not missed from Sanskar's scrutinising gaze.
"In past when Divya had met with an accident she had blamed Anurag for it" Ram gave glimpse of past.
"Anu Papa why? What is his connection?" Sanskar became confused.
"Your Dadu and Annindham Sir, had proposed alliance between Anurag and Divya which he declined as he was always in love with Reva. Divya took it as her insult as she had never listened 'no' in her life till that day. She hated that Anurag chose Reva, an orphan girl in comparison to her. So, she kept on cursing Reva all the time. Reva being humble and timid never replied back to her but bared all her taunting's. On Niren's 5th birthday same thing happened but that time Anurag and I intervened as Divya had crossed her limits. Anurag warned Divya not to interfere in his life and should not say a word against Reva. Just after two weeks of that incident, Divya met with an accident so Divya put all blames on Anurag but it was totally drunk and drive case. Dev and Reva proved it but still even today Divya thinks that it was supressed due to Mehra's influence." Ram provided insights.
"Ohh" Sanskar nodded his head.
"Divya's claims were totally baseless. Actually, it was me and Ram were going to Udaipur as your Dadi had fell down from stairs and had fractured her hand. So, we thought to keep you and Uttu at Divya's house and then leave. But Uttu had high fever and she was not letting me go anywhere also doctors advised to keep her in hospital under observations so last minute, Divya decided to go and bring Ma and Papa here in Mumbai." Sujata recalled old days.
"Ohh...Dad what happened to that case?" Sanskar was trying his best to drill his parents more.
"Driver confessed and got punishment for his crime 10 years of rigorous jail" Ram responded.
'Why do I feel that Divya aunty just became scapegoat, but accident was planned for Mom and Dad' Sanskar scrunched his eyebrows. Just the thought of possibility of his parents could have become victim of that accident shook him from the core. He talked with his parents for some more time about other things and then came back to his room.
Sanskar stayed at home to be precise in their room along with Swara, they both did their lunch and dinner at their room and were joined by Sujata and Ram. Swara was still coping and was trying to gain her strength to fight with outside evil unaware of planning's and plotting going on in other part of her home.
"Who told Ragini about the accident? To be precise how did she knew that we are trapping Swara in that case?" Siddhant asked when everyone was busy in their own world.
"Dad, how would I know?" Sahil murmured not meeting his eyes with his father. His father's rigorous interrogation session was going on behind closed door of his room.
"Then why did you meet her in café last week?" Siddhant cross questioned, he was well acquainted with his son's impulsive nature.
"Dad, I just met her to convince her... I mean, now we don't have Swara... We...." Sahil could not finish as he received tight slap from his father.
"We were this close Sahil." Siddhant fumed in ager, "Roger had tracked that truck driver's location. Once he would have got caught, he would have confessed as per our instructions and then everything would have worked as per my plan. But no, I have very intelligent son who crashed my meticulously laid plan. What a mastery you have done my son! I am so proud of you. You did not get anyone other than Ragini. You knew how much she is obsessed with Sanskar obviously she would not think from her dumb head to split out anything. And now because of you I have to make that truck driver underground. Our entire plan is spoiled due to your impulsive move."
"I am sorry Dad; I had not expected her to blurt out like this without even giving a single thought" Sahil shook his head in disbelief.
"Gadodia's cannot handle their obsession it is in their blood. They lose every bit of sanity when it comes to their addiction. They ..." Siddhant stopped abruptly ruffling his hairs in frustration and continued, "This one action has brought you on Sanskar's radar. Didn't you see his analysing look when she mentioned about resource allocation papers. Now, he knows you are behind Ragini blurting out everything. I just hope he would not reach till the end of tunnel."
"What should we do now?" Sahil was scared, he was well aware of his cousin. His cousin was capable of destroying anyone's life within blink of an eye.
"He will surely keep an eye on you. Give me a day or two to think about. Tomorrow morning just go to Paris, I will handle everything here." Siddhant tried to compose himself.
Next day, Swara and Sanskar both were getting ready to head towards their offices.
"Sanskar I don't feel like going downstairs for breakfast. Can we please do it in our room?" Swara asked.
"No. We are not. We are going downstairs and if anybody say a single word to you. You are going to give them back." Sanskar pulled her closer and by shifting her hair strand behind her ear he mumbled in her ears leaving his hot breath, "I want to see my firecracker Swara, I am missing her."
"Firecracker seriously Sanskar" Swara smiled shaking her head but her cherry red cheeks set his heart running with marathon speed.
"I just love the way you, boss around me and I am missing it from yesterday." Sanskar confessed caressing her cheek with back of his fingers, "And we need to celebrate as today will be the last day of Sahil Sengputa is in this house."
Swara looked at her husband, he was calm and composed to dangerous level.
'The game is on Sir' Sanskar received message on his iWatch which brought satisfactory smile on his face.
Everybody assembled at dining table for breakfast, Sanskar, Siddhant and Ram were discussing about business. Sujata, Swara and Uttara were talking about some random stuff where as Divya and Sahil were concentrating on their breakfast plate. Uttara's mobile beeped with notification and she looked for it.
"Ohh my god" Uttara shrieked in horrified while getting up from her chair earning everyone's attention.
"What happened Uttu?" Sujata asked.
"Mom wait" Uttara just mumbled and switched on the TV of dining area. It was showing one reporter reporting live on half of the screen whereas on half of the screen it was some photos of one girl.
"We are reporting live from Orchids Apartments of Lokhandwala Andheri, behind me you can see the building which is also residence of top model and actress Soniya Gupta. Yesterday, evening when her personal maid went to call her for dinner, she found Soniya in unconscious state in her room. Maid called doctor and doctor informed that Soniya had consumed excessive dosage of drugs. She had been taken to nearest Health Care Hospital for immediate treatment and now she is out of danger. We are still finding out details what happened with Ms. Soniya? Did she tried to commit suicide or is it a case of drugs overdose?" Reporter from TV was giving live updates which swiped away floor from Sahil's feet. He was horrified with recent news.
"Who is she Uttu?" Sujata asked looking at TV screen.
"Mom I met her few months back in one fashion show. She was kind girl. I seriously don't know she was drug addict" Uttara replied in disbelief.
"It's ok Uttu. Lot of people mask their true self behind fake genuineness and kindness" Sanskar responded with smirk passing quick glare at Sahil, he was sweating badly and fidgeting his fingers.
Siddhant was looking at his son and nephew to understand silent exchanges behind sudden unexpected discussions. 'Find out what happened to that slut. Make sure to clean Sahil's name.' he typed message and send it to Jaideep.
"Sir, SP Chatterjee is in drawing room. He wants to meet you" Ramesh, servant of the house entered dining area.
"Ok, let's see. Make him comfortable. We are coming." Ram instructed.
"Ji Sir" Ramesh aknowledge.
"Come Swara... It's fun time" Sanskar mumbled in her ears.
"May I know the purpose of your sudden visit, Mr Chatterjee?" Ram broached topic after initial greetings.
"Mr. Maheshwari, you must have seen news about Ms. Soniya's case. She got consciousness early morning and as per her statement she tried to commit suicide and she is holding Mr. Sahil Sengupta responsible for her condition" SP Chatterjee informed earning loud gasped from everyone.
