Chapter - 24 : Untold Feelings

It was two days of Sanskar's return from his business trip, but they both maintained distance from each other. Sanskar was busy with other projects and deals where as Swara was drowned in guilt, she was keeping herself away from him as she could not match her eyes with his. She was still fighting a battle between her mind and heart, 'Why he did not blame me? Why he did not say a single word to me? Why he defended me?' these thoughts were not letting her to be at peace.

In morning, as usual when Swara woke up Sanskar was missing from their room. Swara was frustrated over his workaholic nature but more than that she hated to admit that she wanted his attention. Whereas Sanskar wanted to give her some time, he had observed her over last couple of days.

Sanskar finished his gardening hour and was proceeding towards stairs for his room typing something on his mobile when he heard his wife's name in Sahil's voice, he raised his head to look for his wife walking along with his cousin towards dining area.

"Swara do you think with these things you will be able to break him?" Sanksar heard his cousin advising his wife in most convincing tone. "What do you think with these stunts like changing percentage of resource allocation for both projects you will bring him on his knees. Ohh! come on Swara don't look at me like this."

Swara was fuming in anger as Sahil was trying to interfere in her personal space, she was going towards kitchen when Sahil cut her way as usual. She was frustrated over his constant bickering but right now her mind was occupied with Sanskar's thoughts who was not ready to accept defeat.

Swara was hopping Sanskar to get impacted with her actions and he would be suffering loss tormenting his image in business world. But she forgot that she was dealing with the shrewdest businessman, he turned the tables in his favour skillfully.

Swara resented to accept that she felt relief in her heart when he was out of that unforeseen situation. Unknowingly, her heart swelled with happiness and pride when she heard praise from her father in law for her husband over last night's dinner which Sanskar missed due to his late-night meetings.

She crossed her hands around her chest raised her eyebrows and asked with rigidity, "What do you want me to do now then?"

"Come on Swara, he is not the one, who would break with these silly tricks. He had dealt with more serious issues in the past. You still don't know the real Sanskar Maheshwari, for him dealing with these problems is like a peanut task." Sahil was trying his best to manipulate his pawn against his archrival in his game of betrayal.

'I cannot let her be weak in front of him. Only she can break him emotionally' Sahil was confident on his tactics.

Swara was lost in her own thoughts about Sanskar and the way he handled everything over last two weeks, she was impressed with tactics and strategies but at the same time she was agitated over him for his workaholic nature. She needed to decide her further plan of actions to break him for which her heart was in denial mode.

She did not realise when Sahil held her hand and caressed the knuckles, "But I will not let him ruin our life. We both will fight in this battle together; I am with you on your every step as usual as your friend, as your well-wisher. You still have the same place in my life and heart." Sahil suggested emotionally shedding fake tears.

'Please Swara, you can break me anyhow you want but not this. Just for breaking me, bringing me on my knees don't ruin yourself with a man like Sahil.' Sanskar gulped hearing the planning and plotting his wife was doing with his cousin. He left from there taking long strides with heavy heart.

"Dare you Mr. Sahil Sengupta. I don't need your advice. I know my ways." Swara jerked her hand from his grip and retorted back fiercely. She left from there leaving Sahil to smirk on his triumph.

During breakfast, Sujata announced schedule for functions Singhania and Raichand families hosting for Neil and Samaira's weddings. Haldi, Mehendi and Shaadi would be private family affairs hosted in either of two houses whereas both families would be hosting reception at Raichand's resort in Panchgani, hill station near Mahabaleshwar.

"Swara Beta, today there is Mehendi celebrations, if you need any help in getting ready just let me know" Sujata informed.

Swara nodded her head in agreement with smile.

"What is your schedule? You will be coming directly for function?" Sujata asked Sanskar who was taking sip from his black coffee and was in discussion with his father over business issues.

"Yes Mom" Sanskar replied in assurance.

It was evening, when Sanskar drove to Singhania House which was decorated as bride for welcoming new member of the family.

Samaira was sitting on the couch and was surrounded with mehndi designers. Sanskar looked for his best friend and moved towards him.

Sanskar observed his best friend's eyes they were shining with happiness. Finally, his best friend was going to get the love of his life in the form of his life partner.

Sanskar was with Neil and Niren, but his eyes were roaming over the hall to look for his wife.

"Sanskar Bhai, Swara Bhabhi is over there." Niren teased pointing towards Swara.

She was dressed in Parrot colour Anarkali with heavy silver zardozi work, she had adorned her neck with her delicate diamond neckpiece with matching earrings and bangles. With minimum make up and lose curled hairs she was looking epitome of beauty, but his heart was craving to see her with her marital symbols over last one and half month. After muh-dikhai function at Maheshwari house, Swara had never worn any of the symbols which would announce the world that she belonged to him.

Sanskar narrowed his eyes, when he observed his mother was forcing his wife to seat for adorning her hands with mehndi, but his wife was reluctant. His heart did somersault when she raised her hand to shift her hair strand behind her ears where he could see the ring which he gifted her as their wedding gift.

Swara felt his intense gaze, she turned her gaze from his mother to him, but Sanskar turned his eyes to look after his best friend and tried to focus on their recent discussion about changes in stock market.

"Swara come on please put some mehndi. I am your friend right" Samaira seconded Sujata. Swara trance was broken, she nodded her head and sat in front of another designer, but her eyes were drifting towards Sanskar every now and then. Whenever their eyes met with each other, it created chaos in their hearts.

Swara observed everyone going towards the buffet arranged for guests to have dinner. She adorned Neil and Samaira, he was feeding her from his plate talking sweet nothings enriching her cheeks with cherry red colour.

Swara herself did not realise that her heart imagined herself and Sanskar in the place of Neil and Samaira. Her cheeks turned cherry red with just a simple thought.

"You must hungry" Sanskar's voice broke her trance, she turned to look at him who was standing beside her couch with dinner plate.

Swara could not supress her small smile looking at his care, it was almost after two days they were talking to each other after their emotional encounter at night post his return.

"But... I...I have mehndi on my hands" Swara showed him her hands, she was still sitting on the couch, but her mehndi was done.

"If you won't mind, I can feed you" Sanskar whispered with unsurety.

Swara's lips stretched in small smile and she nodded her head shifting slightly to make a place for him on the couch.

Sanskar sat beside her and started feeding her, their eyes were drifting towards each other. Even though surroundings were filled with loud music, gossips and laughter; two souls were at peace feeling content under the care of their soulmate.

"Did you eat?" Swara asked in concern not meeting with his eyes.

"No, I will eat once you are done" Sanskar replied filling spoon with Veg Biryani.

"What? We can share from this" Swara herself did not realise when she blurted out those words. She bit her lower lip, when her mind registered her own words. She bowed her head but could not hid redness of her cheeks.

Sanskar stared at her flushed face, he pressed his lips which were already stretched in small smile. He murmured, "No, that's fine."

Sanskar made her eat food and then he pointed towards her lips, "There is some Rabadi over there."

Swara tried to wipe it with her thumb when Sanskar stopped her, "Your Mehndi is not dried yet."

Swara looked here and there for tissues when Sanskar took out his handkerchief and with corner he wiped the Rabadi, losing himself in her big doe eyes. His fingers touched her soft petal like lips unknowingly and they both remembered their first kiss.

Swara broke their eye lock, with shivering eye lids, and throbbing heart beats looking everywhere but not at him.

"It was not a mistake for me." Sanskar bent slightly near her and mumbled in her ear leaving his hot breath over there. He got up giving a final glance at her crimson, surprised face and left pressing his lips being aware of his effect on her.

'What does he mean by... it was not a mistake for him?' Swara recalled their kiss under falling stars giving goosebumps to her stomach. She felt sudden dryness in her throat thinking how his lips ravished and tenderly cherished hers. She was engulphed with warmness remembering herself wrapped in his arms. She still remembered his woody musky manly cologne which made her loose her every sense. She could not deny that her heart was pierced when she realised that she named their moment as mistake on their wedding night unknowingly.

Swara's heart was pounding inside her ribcage remembering their kiss, it was for the first time she had felt that every cell of her body belonged to him and only him.

In their blessed moment Swara and Sanskar both forgot to notice one pair of eyes looking at them enviously with thought 'I need to play my cards now, its high time.'

Rest two days went with in blink of an eye, but in these days, she had observed Sanskar, whose eyes were always fixed on her. They never exchanged anything more than a monosyllable, but she could feel his compliments after getting ready for wedding functions through his shining eyes. His soft small smile or simple nod or intense gaze used to weaken her knees. Every time when she used to get ready only thought used to linger on her mind was, 'What will be his reaction? Will he like it?'

On wedding day, when Neil and Samaira took seven rounds around the fire holding each other hands for promising for their upcoming life, Swara's eyes roamed over the hall to look for Sanskar. She recalled their moment. She scrunched her eyebrows not finding him but became alert hearing his enchanted voice from her back.

"They look perfect" Sanskar mumbled showering flowers on his best friend and his mate praying for his blessed married life.

"Hmm they are made of each other" Swara seconded with nod and simple nod.

Next day, all members of family's moved to Panchgani for reception early morning. Sanskar had an important meeting in office so he asked his family members to move ahead during breakfast whereas he would be joining them in evening. He also declared that he had couple of meetings with Government officials in Delhi for which he had flight next day early morning from Pune, so he would be staying at Panchgani after the function.

It was evening when Sanskar joined everyone for Neil's reception. He was greeted by Ram at the entrance of the resort who informed him about the rooms allotted to them for getting ready. He moved towards the room and knocked to enter.

"Come in Sanskar" he heard his mother's voice.

He turned the knob and entered inside when he saw his wife wrapped in beautiful peach colour saari and his mother was sitting on her knees in front of her to make her saari plates.

Sanskar skipped his heartbeat for a moment looking at his beautiful wife. It was for the first time he was seeing her in saari which rang all bells of his heart. He gulped audibly to control his thudding heart. He blinked his eyes when her melodious voice hit on his eardrums.

"Aunty please... let it be... please don't" Swara was awkward as Sujata was bending in front of her for making plates.

"Swara it's done Beta... just two minutes" Sujata ignored her pleadings and concentrated on her work.

"Aunty, what are you doing? Please, I really don't like you bending like this...please aunty" Swara was tired of continuous pleadings. She did not know how to wear saari, so Sujata was making her wear it.

"Swara, stand straight don't move. I want my daughter to look the best" Sujata ordered with motherly love.

Sanskar was standing at the room doorstep and was enjoying tender moment between his mother and wife.

"Aunty please... Aunty Please no...please listen to me Aunty... MOM please No" Swara blurted out gaining all attention from Sanskar and Sujata. They both jerked and looked at her in wide eyes.

Sujata stared at her for a moment with moist eyes. She inserted the pin to keep the plates firm not saying a single word. Their room had pin drop silence, but Swara felt Sanskar continuous gaze on her. She looked at him in corner eyes who was gaping at her in amazement.

Sujata stood and then caressed Swara's hairs passing all her motherly love. She kissed her forehead and then put the kaala tikka behind her ears to save her from any bad eyes.

"My daughter is looking as an angel" Sujata could hardly mumbled and then she turned to Sanskar "You both should come together."

Sujata's voice brought Sanskar back to earth, he nodded his head in agreement glancing at Swara every now and then.

"Sure Mom" Swara mumbled before Sanskar could reply back, not meeting her teary eyes with Sujata but staring at floor.

Over last month, she felt blessed with motherly love and care from this pious lady for which she craved from her childhood. Swara herself did not realise when Sujata became her mother by choice.

Sujata felt content when Swara called her 'Mom', this was the day she was waiting from the day her son married with Swara. One tear drop slipped from her eyes which she wiped immediately and left from their room after patting Swara's cheeks.

Sanskar was thrilled when she called his mother as Mom, 'Should I consider this as her first step towards our relation?' His heart was rejoicing over current happenings, but his mind silenced him 'too early to assume anything.'

He left for washroom for quick bath and then came when he saw his wife ready with her jewellery and make up. She was putting her jhumkas. He went towards his bed without saying a single word to take out tie knot to wear it, all thanks to Mike his PA for obeying his orders. Swara was observing his moves from his reflexion on mirror. She scrunched her eyebrows and pressed her lips tightly to supress her laugh remembering his failed attempts for making knot for his tie but then she creased her forehead with thought concentrating on her work, 'Who made knot for his tie?'

After getting ready they both came downstairs to proceed towards garden area where function was arranged. They both were greeting the guest and family members pretending to be a perfect happily married couple still maintaining formality between them.

Neil and Samaira was on stage receiving greetings and blessings from invited guest with bright smile, their happiness on getting hooked up with their love of life was radiating from their shining eyes.

"What are they doing here Samaira?" Neil gritted his teeth and asked looking at Gadodia family. He was well aware what their presence would do in their family event especially looking at Ragini whose eyes were roaming over the crowd.

"Sorry Neil but Sharmishtha Aunty is Mumma's friend. I was not able to persuade my parents from not inviting them at least for our reception." Samaira informed helplessly.

"It's ok love" Neil regretted for getting hyper over Samaira. He wrapped his arm around her shoulder to rubbed it. He formally greeted and took the wishes from Gadodia family with fake smile.

"Hi Sanskar" Ragini's voice earned Sanskar's attention. Earlier he was busy having phone conversation, he had received call and to attend it, he went to isolated area to avoid any network issue. He finished his discussions and turned to look at Ragini who was staring back at him with sly smile, but her eyes were not leaving their gaze from his deadly handsome face.

"Excuse me" Sanskar shook his head and took step away from her to escape from her seductive advances.

"Come on Sanskar, now you don't even want to look at me? Please Sanskar how can you..." Ragini held his arm and plead sensually.

"Stay in your limits Ms. Gadodia" Sanskar bellowed while jerking his hand. He started walking away from her but was faced with his fuming wife who was passing murderous glare to Ragini crossing her arms around her chest.

"Come Sanskar, we need to talk, I don't like so much crowd." Ragini' flirtatious tone increased Swara's fury, her nose became charcoal red whereas her eyes were splitting fire.

"You can talk to me Ragini" Swara riposted raising her eyebrows even before Sanskar came up with any sarcastic reply.

Sanskar looked at his wife, he had never seen her in her most furious state till today, if any one's glare could kill someone, Ragini would have been burning into ashes by now. Even in this situation also, his lips stretched with smile looking at his over possessive firecracker wife. He pressed his lips to supress his chuckle, he was surely scared of his wife when she was ready to pounce on her prey.

"I have no interest in talking with betrayers" Ragini spat venomously.

"Ms. Gadodia. Watch your words. Dare you say a word to my wife" Sanskar's train of thought broke when he heard Ragini badmouthing Swara, he turned and warned with rage.

"Wife, I was supposed to be the one to hold this title. She snatched it, she snatched you from me. I will not leave her Sanskar. She is the one who came in between us" Ragini moved close to Sanskar trying to cup his face in her palms. Her obsession, psychosis and lunatic disorder was clearly visible looking at her actions and behaviour.

Sanskar jerked her hands and took step back to maintain safe distance between them. He turned and held Swara's hand while whispering, "She is psychopath, let's go from here."

"What does she have Sanskar that you are going away from me? I can give you whatever you want, she can never satisfy your needs but I ... I will ki..." Ragini was shouting on top of her voice shedding tears, hearing her insult. She became hysteric crossing all limits of sanity.

Swara and Sanskat were stunned with her outrage, they both turned towards her, her eye liner and mascara was dripping over her cheeks, her eyes were splitting fire and with dishevelled hairs she was looking like schizoid.

"Shut up Ms. Gadodia. You are the most disgusting woman I have ever met till today." Sanskar spat out dangerously raising his eyebrows and continued pointing finger at her, "and to answer your question, she is not obsessed with Mrs. Sanskar Maheshwari's title like you are. And don't forget she is my wife, you can't even imagine what I will do to you if you even THINK to harm her."

Sanskar threatened in his intimidating voice and left from there holding Swara's hand.

Ragini kept on looking at their retreating figures fuming in anger, she clenched her fist tightly looking at Sanskar's care and protectiveness for Swara. Ragini knew Sanskar from childhood, he had never shown any such affection towards her over the years which was stabbing her heart with thousand needles.

"Are you ok?" Sanskar asked when they were out of Ragini's reach.

"Hmm" Swara hummed in response with nod and blurted out with irritation, "What were you doing there?"

"My Delhi's meeting got reschedule, timing is same but now location is Mumbai. I have promised Neil and Samaira to spend some time with them so I will come home tomorrow morning after dropping both of them to Pune Airport" Sanskar informed about his discussions over the call.

"Ok, I will go with everyone" Swara replied shrugging her shoulders.

It was late evening when rest Maheshwari started bidding bye to Neil and Samaira along with Singhania family. Sengupta and Gadodia family had left immediately after dinner. Sanskar declared that he would be staying here with his friends for a night and then he would be coming back to Mumbai next day early morning.

Samaira forced Swara to stay along with her and she was supported by Sujata and Nadini. She finally agreed to stay at resort and return back home with Sanskar next day morning.

They all five, Sanskar, Swara, Neil, Samaira and Rohan gathered near the campfire for spending quality time with each other after getting freshen up in their respective rooms.

It was beautiful, chilly night filled with new feelings brewing up in Swara and Sanskar's hearts whereas Neil and Samaira was busy in their romance. Swara observed Sanskar, he was talking, smiling and enjoying this moment along with his friends sitting beside her on cane chair. In his white track pants with navy blue t-shirt he was taking her breath away with just simple small smile. Swara wrapped her baby pink coloured shawl and rubbed her arms to get some warmness.

"Sanskar, where is my wedding gift?" Samaira asked with pout raising her palm in front of him.

"Hello madam, wake up! I am not going alone on honeymoon trip." Neil replied even before Sanskar could come up with his answer. He and Rohan had gifted newly married couple honeymoon trip to Switzerland.

"That's your gift. Where is my gift?" Samaira scrunched her nose. Swara was looking at them with amazement, she was enjoying their cute banter.

"Love this is for both of us" Neil replied cheekily while wraping his arm around her shoulder pulling her close inside embrace.

"Shut up Neil" Samaira blushed profusely and moved to other side to keep safe distance from her highly romantic husband.

"Sanskar I want gift from you" Samaira became stubborn.

"What do you want?" Sanskar asked softly, Swara looked at him, he was totally a different person when he used to be with his friends.

"No No No...First promise me you will get it for me" Samaira grinned jumping at her place.

"Ok. Sure" Sanskar assured with nod.

"Thanks, Sanskar." Samaira smiled widely clapping her hands and turned to ask Neil "Where is it?"

"It's in our room" Neil said rolling his eyes looking at his drama queen wife.

"Ok, I am coming in two minutes" Samaira exclaimed at her place and left everyone alone behind her in confused state.

"She wants gift, but she is getting something. Is she ok?" Rohan mumbled looking at Neil with disbelief.

"My love is an antic piece" Neil winked at him with bright grin.

"Because of that only she loved a jerk like you" Sanskar teased sipping his hot black coffee.

Swara observed Sanskar he was in his teasing mood which was true feast for her eyes. She was looking at their banter sitting on the chair sipping her hot chocolate. Everyone turned their back when they sensed Samaira was coming towards them

"What is this Samaira?" Sanskar asked with scepticism, his eyes were wide open that his eyeballs would come out from their sockets any moments looking at his best friend's wife, he turned his glare to his other two best friends.

Neil shrugged his shoulders nonchalantly, whereas Rohan grinned sheepishly. Swara was exchanging her looks between all four of them with creased forehead.

"Samaira, please" Sanskar hardly mumble and then turned towards Neil with exasperation, "Did you tell her? Come on Neil. How could you?"

"Please Sanskar" Samaira giggled making puppy face.

"Come on Samaira. It had been long time I have even touched it" Sanskar shook his head in denial.

"Who is telling you to touch it? We are asking you to play it" Neil supported his wife taking guitar from her hands.

"Along with song" Rohan joined husband and wife crew from background.

"You guys are trapping me. No...Please... no way I mean... it been long time I have even held it... I can't" Sanskar rigorously shook his head.

"Come on Sanskar it's been ages we heard you singing...almost 4-5 years. Right Rohan?" Neil requested pushing Guitar to his best friend.

"Exactly last time we heard you when we were here in Panchgani for new year celebration after you both returned back from Harvard...what a blast we had that time and..." Rohan could not finish, he paused abruptly and they all three exchanged eye messages.

Swara's analysing eyes did not miss sudden tension in pleasant environment. She saw, Neil shaking his head in negative and gesturing Rohan to keep mum looking at Sanskar's pale and anxious face. She turned to look at Sanskar who was rubbing his forehead with his shivering fingers, but she could clearly see nervousness and anxiety on his face.

"I know, I am not Uttara, but I always treated you like my elder brother, so I want my gift. Can you please Sanskar" Samaira pleaded with small smile, her chirpy tone brought back relaxation and calmness in the environment. She turned to look at Swara masking her face with innocence, "Swara why don't you tell him, probably he will listen to you. Neil told me your husband have harmonious voice."

'Does he really know how to sing and play guitar. This is unbelievable for cold and stone hearted person like him.' Swara mumbled staring at him "Can you please?"

Sanskar nodded his head passing lip side and taking Guitar from Neil's hands. He sat back on his seat and adjusting guitar, he looked upwards towards moon when the girl from his dreams flashed in front of his eyes bringing small content smile on his face. He took deep breath and closed his eyes and started strumming guitar singing beautiful song from Hindi movie Badlapur.

Dehleez pe mere dil ki
Jo rakhe hain tune kadam
Tere naam pe meri zindagi
Likh di mere humdum

Haan seekha maine jeena jeena kaise jeena
Haan seekha maine jeena mere humdum
Na seekha kabhi jeena jeena kaise jeena
Na seekha jeena tere bina humdum

Dehleez pe merey dil ki
Jo rakhe hain tune kadam
Tere naam pe meri zindagi
Likh di mere humdum

Haan sikha maine jeena jeena kaise jeena
Haan sikha maine jeena, mere humdum
Na sikha kabhi jeena jeena kaise jeena
Na sikha jeena tere bina humdum

Sacchi si hain yeh taareefein
Dil se jo maine kari hain...

Sacchi si hain yeh taareefein
Dil se jo maine kari hain...

Jo tu mila to saji hain
Duniya meri humdum
O aasma mila zameen ko meri
Aadhe aadhe poore hain hum
Tere naam pe meri zindagi
Likh di mere humdum

Haan seekha maine jeena jeena, kaise jeena
Haan seekha maine jeena, mere humdum
Na seekha kabhi jeena jeena kaise jeena
Na seekha jeena tere bina humdum

Swara was hypnotised hearing his euphonious voice, she could not take away her eyes from his peaceful face. No doubt he had heartwarming voice and the way he sang she felt it was for her. She felt stream of tears on her cheeks remembering their journey over last 6 -7 months.

Sanskar had closed his eyes but he could feel her gaze on him. When song was finished, he opened his eyes to get lost in her mesmerising big doe ones. Her lips were stretched in small smile feeling overwhelmed.

"Wow that was superb" Rohan shouted loudly clapping his hands which broke the trace of two soulmates.

"That was out of the world Sanskar" Samaira praised with bright smile.

Swara turned to look at other side to wipe her tears but her eyes betrayed and were drifting towards him again and again.

"Thanks my love. He sang for her" Neil whispered pulling Samaira in his side embrace.

"She cried hearing him" Samaira rested her head on his shoulders looking at Swara and Sanskar.

They all spend for some more quality time and then dispersed to their rooms calling off for the night.

Next morning, it was decided that Rohan would go to see off newly wedded couple till Pune Airport where as Swara and Sanskar would be returning back to Mumbai.

After bidding bye to Neil and Samaira, Swara and Sanskar settled down in their car.

Sanskar was on business call so he switched on Bluetooth ear device and started discussing urgent pressing issue over the call.

Swara was looking out of the window to get clear picture of mountain ranges of Sahyadri. It was drizzling outside with foggy weather which was enhancing the beauty of morning.

It was after 15 – 20 minutes of their silent drive, Sanskar mumbled in horrified tone, "Shit... shit...shit."

Swara turned to look at him who was panicked like hell. He removed the Bluetooth from his ear and then she realised the continuous beep sound ringing in the car.

"Shit... what the hell is this?" Sanskar banged his hand on the steering wheel.

"What happened? Why are you so hyper? And whats this noise?" Swara asked scrunching her eyebrows.

"Breaks are not working" Sanskar grunted tightening his hold on steering wheel.

"What?" Swara whispered yelled widening her eyes.

"Are you buckled up?" Sanskar asked and turned to confirm if she had put on seat belts or not and continued "We cannot take Ghat at this moment, I won't be able to control car on steep. We need to stop it anyhow."

"But how? GPS is showing we will be on Ghat in another 5 minutes" Swara stared at dashboard screen in horrified.

"Do one thing change location, add any nearest farm fields" Sanskar suggested keeping his presence of mind.

"Why?" Swara was perplexed with his ask.

"This is not a time for question and answer. Just do what I say" Sanskar replied in firm tone keeping his concentration on road.

Meanwhile, Sanskar dialed Roger number from dashboard and ordered, "Roger find my car's location and follow it immediately."

Swara found nearest strawberry farm location from google apps and then added it on Car's GPS.

As per instructions, Sanskar took sharp turn to take the new route. The road was taking them in upwards direction, he felt relaxed as speedometer was coming down but still it was not safe to jump out of the car.

Sanskar observed there were farm fields, he brought the car near the edge of the road adjacent to farm fields.

"Be ready to jump out of the car" Sanskar ordered.

"What? Are you mad or what?" Swara shouted at top of her voice.

"Listen, it is drizzling, and there is farm field, soil would be smooth and due to rain, it would be moist and soft, even if you jump out, you will not get any major injury. Just some bruises here and there." Sanskar suggested with calm voice looking at the edge of the road from glass.

"Will you be jumping out of the car with me?" Swara asked in terror-stricken face.

"No...I have to control the car" Sanskar shook his head.

"THEN NO WAY Mr. Maheshwari, I am not getting out of the car without you" Swara was at her extreme stubbornness.

"Why don't you listen to me you stubborn lady at least once in your lifetime" Sanskar was frustrated over her reluctance.

"You stop this car anyhow and we both will come out at the same time" Swara crossed her hands around her chest.

"Why don't you understand Swara? You are my responsibility; I cannot let anything happen to you." Sanskar did not even realised that this was the first time he called her by her name which rang all bells of her heart. She had always imagined how it would feel to hear her name in his alluring voice but today she actually experienced it, and it was no way near to her any of imaginations.

"And you are my husband Sanskar, I cannot leave you alone" Swara responded staring at his pain-stricken face. They shared brief painful eye lock.

"If anything happened to you, I won't be able to take it" Sanskar mumbled looking at her helplessly.

Swara nodded her head in negative.

'Destiny gasped loudly thinking is this a new beginning for their relation or end of their lives.'
