"I should be asking you that!" Sophie shouted, racing over to hug Grady. "You're safe"

"Yes, I am." Grady whispered.

"Where's mom?" Sophie asked.

"Right here!" Edaline said.

Sophie ran over to hug her mom, "I love you, what happened?"

"Love you too! Let Mr. Forkle explain," Edailine told her.

Sophie turned to Mr.Forkle. "So what happened? How are they here?"

"Lady Gisela came over to havenfield and she was holding two drugged people. She was trying to make us give Keefe to her. We recognized them and so we captured Lady Gisela and Elwin took care of your parents." Mr. Forkle explained.

"Oh" Sophie said. Sophie glanced at her friends and they all just shrugged. "What?"

Keefe just stared at the ground. He was probably mad at his mom. 

Keefe it's not your fault. Sophie transmitted. 

Thanks for caring, Foster. But sure. 

It's not your fault. 

No, it is my fault.

No, it is not. Keefe, guilt is not a good thing. Please, it isn't your fault. 

Okay, okay Foster. 

"Now let's talk about how you went to the forbidden cities, alone!" Grady said, glaring at Keefe.

"You should have let us know!" Edaline told her.

Sophie shrugged, "All of you didn't even care so I just went off on my own."

"Sorry about that." Sophie told her freinds. 

"It's okay" Biana told her sadly. 

"Well, you should have told us still." Grady growled. "You went off alone to save that boy from the forbidden cities."

"Wait, how do you know where he was." Sophie asked.

Grady looked guilty.

 "He saw me before I left." Keefe told her. 

"You could have told me." Sophie snapped.

"I know" Grady looked sorry. 

"Ok, ok Foster. We know you care about me but calm down. I'm not that important, am I?" Keefe joked. 

Sophie blushed. 

"Why don't you take a quick nap." Edaline suggested. 

Sophie sighed, "I am tired, guess I'll take a nap."

"Yes, that's a great idea. You should know that you are grounded for the next 2 weeks. No going anywhere." Grady told her.

"Come on Grady, lay her off." Edaline told him, dragging him inside and giving Sophie a sappy look.

Ugh, parents. Why were parents like that? Sophie walked into her room and found a note sitting on her desk. She picked it up and read it.

Hey there, moonlark. We need to chat and don't worry I am not coming with the Neverseen. Meet me under the panakes tree at 11:00 P.M alone. Don't be late. Again come alone. ~ Ruy

Sophie stared at the note. Why did Ruy want to meet with her? Would they kidnap her? Should she tell anyone? Should she go? Sophie tucked the note in her boot pocket and took a quick nap. Suddenly she woke up.

"What time is it?" she asked her mom.

"You're going to hate me but it is 4:00. You looked tired and needed some rest." Edaline told her.

"Okay, fine. But I wasted so much time!" Sophie said.

"Take a break, you've done a lot yesterday. Your friends are waiting for you downstairs. I will let them know that you woke up." Edaline said. "I will send some mallowmelt."

Sophie got up and paced around the room as her friends walked in.

"Hey!" she greeted.

"Hey, why don't we have a sleepover at your house. There's nothing better to do." Biana exclaimed.

"Sure, that sounds great!." she told them.

"Okay, wanna play truth or dare?" Keefe asked.

"I'm in!" Biana shouted.

"I'm in"

"Me too!"

"I'm in"

"Okay"

"Come on Foster, everyone wants to play. Please." Keefe pleaded with puppy dog eyes.

"Fine," Sophie said. It was so hard to resist Keefe's puppy dog eyes.

"Ok, I call going first." Tam said. "Keefe"

"Dare," Keefe said as always.

"I dare you to go out to the parents and dance for 30 seconds." Tam told him.

Keefe smirked. "Easy." He walked out of the room.

Biana turned invisible and sneaked out of the room.

"Did he do it?" Tam asked Biana when they walked back in.

"Oh, he did it all right." Biana said, laughing like crazy.

"What? Admit it, my dances are awesome!" Keefe told everyone.

"Okay, next person. Fitzy"

"Dare," Fitz said.

Sophie felt bad for him. Doing a dare with Keefe was always a bad idea.

"Okay, Fitzy. You have to tell everyone that my hair is the best." Keefe told him.

"Fine, Keefe has the best hair."

"Yes, thank you." Keefe said, tossing his head.

Sophie had to admit that it was cute. Wait, what did she just say? That Keefe looked cute. Sophie shook that thought out of her mind.

"Hey, Foster. Don't go shaking that adorable little head at me." Keefe told her, smirking.

Sophie blushed, "Next person."

"I'm sending mallowmelt." Edaline shouted.

Everyone ate the mallowmelt and for the rest of the day they had a blast.

"Good night guys!" Sophie told the boys.

The girls were sleeping in Sophie's room while the boys were sleeping in another room.

"So, what do we do?" Biana asked.

"Sleep, duh." Sophie told her.

"Nobody sleeps during a sleepover!" Biana exclaimed.

"Umm, let's just sleep in an hour." Linh told them.

"Okay, pillow fight." Biana grabbed a pillow.

Sophie and Linh grabbed their pillows and the fight started. The pillow feathers flew everywhere. In the end Sophie and Linh were on the ground and Biana was standing over the victoriously.

"Ha, I won!" Biana exclaimed.

"Okay, okay Biana." Sophie told her. Biana could get competitive sometimes.

"Woah!" Keefe said bursting through the door followed by Fitz, Dex and Tam.

"Wow, this is why we heard a ton of noise." Tam rolled his eyes.

"Ok then boys, we can head back and have a fight of our own." Keefe smirked. The boys raced back to their room.

"Oh, no!" Linh said. "Gonna be chaos in there."

"Eh, they'll survive." Biana told her. "Let's get sleeping."

"Ok, goodnight guys." Sophie yawned. She would have to wake up in an hour anyways.

"Goodnight" Biana said, partially sleeping.

Sophie looked over at Linh who was sleeping and Biana who was mumbling something about bangs in her sleep. If they slept like this Sophie could easily sneak out without getting caught.

After some time, Sophie checked the clock. Wow, already 11! She got up and wore a tunic and pants and sneaked out the door.

"Hey there, moonlark." Ruy said, waving.

"So, why are you here? Is this to kidnap me?" Sophie snapped.

"Woah, woah, woah. Calm down!" Ruy told her.

"Why should I? Is this all a part of your trick?" Sophie asked.

"Ok, ok! First of all this is not even related to the Neverseen and second of all I am just here to talk." Ruy stated.

"Ok, tell me one thing to make me trust you a little bit more." Sophie told him. "Tell me if you still have your force field to cower behind."

"Oh, just so you know I can still protect myself that way. Tam didn't do anything, all I needed was a quick fix. I'm not that weak you know." Ruy answered.

"Ok, fine. Now just tell me why you are here." Sophie glared.

"I'm here because I want to talk, duh." Ruy told her.

"Talk about what?" Sophie asked.

"About something I just found out. So a few days ago I was told to go search for clues about something in Oralie's, Bronte's and Emery's castle. You know for the Neverseen. When I was in Oralie's castle I heard her talking about you and how you were her daughter. She even cried. So when I went back to the place I was staying in, I thought about telling the Neverseen about it. Then for some reason I decided not to. Got the first part?" Ruy asked her.

Sophie nodded, for some reason she felt like she could trust Ruy. "Go on." she told him.

"Okay, then I went there again and this time she was talking about me! I didn't know why so I decided to listen. She was sobbing." Ruy started. "Then she said that Ruy, her son was now part of the Neverseen and started sobbing to herself again."
