They were supposed to be coming up with ways to escape but someone here kept joking around.

"For the 100th time, Ruy. Shut up!" Sophie told him. "No one cares if you are hungry, we need to get out of here to get food,"

"I know, I know!" Ruy told her.

"Then, shut up!" Sophie remarked. "I'm getting hungry,"

"You know that the Neverseen won't give you mallowmelt right?" Ruy asked.

Sophie sighed, this was going to be way harder than she thought.

"I don't know why they put you in prison with me, you could've been in your own prison,"

"They could've, but they know that I like to annoy you!" Ruy smiled.

Sophie was getting to the point where she would just push Ruy down the staircase.

"I know that look, you are thinking of pushing me down, aren't you?" Ruy asked.

"Mhm. I am not thinking about doing that anymore though, I am going to do that." Sophie replied.

"Sure," Ruy commented.

Sophie ignored him and went to the door. She tried pushing the door with all her strength. The door did not budge.

"Let's try together," Ruy suggested.

They both pushed with all their might. The door still didn't budge. Not even a teeny tiny bit. They tried again. The door still didn't budge.

Then, suddenly the door started beeping loudly and there was a sudden red flash. It said,

If you are reading this, then you are an intruder. Get out of this place. I said get out! These are my books. Don't ever come back. This place will collapse in 10 seconds. The timer will start now!

"Ruy, hurry! We need to get out of here!" Sophie said, panicked.

Sophie and Ruy ran back down the staircase.

"Hurry, hide here." Ruy told her, motioning for her to hide with him in a small cramped place.

"How did you find this place?" Sophie asked, surprised.

"I'll tell you later." Ruy answered, covering his head. Sophie did the same.

Ruy quickly made a force field around them.

There was a loud boom and a voice started speaking.

"Hello, there! My pleasure to meet you today. This place will get destroyed, just like I said before and you will get destroyed with it! Ha ha ha!"

There was another loud boom and the walls around them started collapsing. More and more walls collapsed. Everything around them was a blur. Pieces of dust flew around them. All Sophie could do was hope she and Ruy were safe.

After around 10 minutes the noise stopped completely and Sophie and Ruy stood up from the place they were standing in. It was a complete mess. There were Neverseen soldiers running everywhere.

The staircase was broken and they could see the books. The books were torn and even worse some of them were burned.

Sophie glanced at Ruy. They seemed to be thinking the same thing.

"Do you think we just destroyed the whole Neverseen base?" Sophie asked him.

"Yep," Ruy nodded.

"Let's go see if the box of books is still there," Sophie said, dragging Ruy to the books.

And to their surprise the box was sitting perfectly fine in the middle of all the books that were ruined.
