Before chapter 54, I gave you all the opportunity to ask certain characters some questions.

Those questions will be answered here.

Not all the characters are interviewed and not all the questions have been answered but I hope you enjoy it nonetheless.

Now... time to answer some questions *smiles deviously*.

•SOPHIE•

•If you hadn't sided with the Rebels, what would you have done?

I have no idea, to be honest. I never imagined switching over to begin with. If it wasn't for Alex actually helping me, I don't think I would've done what I did. It's something I thank him for.

•Why are you always blaming yourself?

When you let yourself and everyone else down to the point that I did, you tend to put blame and guilt on your shoulders because you think you deserve it even if you don't. It's like a subconscious punishment you make.

•ALEX•

•Do you plan on having children?

Hell yeah! But you know what they say- practice makes perfect ;)

•Can you name one thing you regret?

Not speaking to Sophie earlier. I wish I could make up for all the time I could've spent with her.

•COURTNEY•

•What happened between you and Alex?

Nothing, really. We didn't go all the way- if you know what I mean- but it was at a party before the Rebels and Elite really started forming. We had a little too much alcohol and we decided to go upstairs. After that, I realized Alex wasn't interested in me. I was pretty pissed off but then I met Logan and we shared a mutual distaste.

•Did you ever really love Logan?

Maybe not 'love' as such but yes, I did have feelings towards him at some point even if he was cold.

•DYLAN•

•Do you hate Sophie?

No, not at all. She's a really nice girl who makes Alex happy. That's enough for me.

•Can you describe your past friendship with Alex?

Alex and I were like brothers. We knew everything about one another and did everything together. We got up to a lot of shit and went through a lot in life with one another by our side. I wish we were still friends but I did what I had to do.

•THALIA•

•Why were you dating Dylan if he was actually with Courtney?

If I dated him for a coverup, they agreed to pay for my college fees since I couldn't afford them. Also, I love him. Even if the feelings aren't reciprocated.

•Do you genuinely like Sophie?

Yeah, I do.

•LOGAN•

•Why do you hate Alex?

He's a dick who thinks he's better than everyone else even though he doesn't have a reason to be. That's all there is to it.

•Why are you dating Courtney if you don't love her?

With dating Courtney came popularity and a sense of power in Ridgevale High. A true leader and businessman starts when he is young and I had a deal with Courtney. One that benefited the both of us. I got everything I wanted with dating her.

•MARTIN•

•How long have you liked Nina?

Probably since the moment she dissed me speechless and gave me a smug smile. How could I not fall in love with that badass?

•Did you ship Sophie and Alex from the beginning?

I was a bit hesitant around Sophie at first which is a given, but I saw the good side she brought out in Alex and how much they cared about each other. So I guess you can say I did. Plus, Sophie always made me laugh. I like that :D

•KELCY•

•What did you think at first when Courtney was giving you alcohol at the party?

I don't think I really thought anything of it. Everyone knew that I was quite a drinker so I thought Courtney was just been generous. Yeah, I felt a little suspicious in the beginning but I was already tipsy so I didn't focus on that. I should have though.

•How did you feel once you found out you were paralyzed?

It felt like my world had came crashing down. Nobody wants to lose something like that. I thought I'd be half a person but I slowly realized that something like that shouldn't change me or my outlook on life. It was difficult at first but my brother never left my side. He was the one who supported me.

•CHRIS•

•Why did you treat Sophie like that if you love her?

Everyone has different ways of showing their love. Plus, I was angry. It gave me no right to take it out on her but I did anyway.

•When did you realize you liked Sophie more than friends?

Shortly after Tyler's party. My feelings only grew after that.

•AUTHOR•

•What inspired you to write Game Changer?

I think it was an idea that was forming in my head for a while. School, of course, played a role but I would say that the book 'High School Hit List' really gave me the push to put my ideas to paper. That inspired me for the main plot line of the Rebels and the Elite but some of the themes incorporated were because I wanted to portray certain messages (like the one on self-love and forgiveness). Personal experiences also helped inspire me.

•What do you think of Sophie and Alex's relationship?

I think it's admirable. The way they support each other and love one another through everything is something rare to find. I think it's amazing that they love each other's flaws. That's something very important in a relationship.

•What was it like writing Game Changer?

Exciting. I loved it. Sometimes it was a little difficult but I enjoyed challenging myself and learning new things. It also helped me express myself while giving me an escape from some of the tough things I had been going through.

•Which character is more relatable for you?

That's a difficult one for me because I share a lot of characteristics with numerous characters. However, I would probably settle with Sophie, Rachel and Courtney. Now before you decapitate me because I said Courtney, let me explain; she is someone who does what she has to do to protect those she loves even if it hurts her in the process and I have that in common with her :)

•Which friendship/relationship is closest to a friendship/relationship you have in reality? Why?

As in friendship, I would say Rachel and Sophie because they can both be very sarcastic with each other but care nonetheless. They're always supporting each other and I have a friendship just like that :)

INTERESTING FACTS ABOUT GAME CHANGER

•Sophie was not originally going to move over to the Rebels so soon. She was actually going to be snitched on by Kelcy who sees her and Alex at the carnival.

•Courtney was going to have an older sister who died in a car crash.

•You were going to meet Melody in one of the chapters before the secret was exposed but I decided against it as it would've been obvious.

•Ashleigh was originally going to be the victim the night of the party but I felt that Kelcy would've had a bigger impact on Sophie since they were closer friends.

•Kelcy was originally going to die instead of becoming paralyzed. I even wrote the scene of the death, the funeral and three days after that. However, I didn't want to make my book dark and I was afraid GC would've been longer due to me writing about Sophie moving on from her death. I didn't want anymore sub-plots to sprout either.

•I didn't originally plan on you meeting Sophie's dad.
