THIRD PERSON POV

"Finally, back at the dorm," Chanyeol said as he got off the car, and he helped Baekhyun out just to be sure he doesn't bump his head.

"By the way Chanyeol, I've been thinking ahout what happened with our conversation with the person who wanted to meet us a few hours ago," Baekhyun said and Chanyeol tilted his head at him as he took his bag.

"Why is that? It was... kinda like an everyday conversation, more like an interview," he said and Baekhyun pouted.

"Nevermind... maybe it's just my head acting up," he said and Chanyeol nodded.

"You better get rest. I'll get Junmyeon hyung and Minseok hyung to get you some medicine," he said before patting his fellow member's back.

"No... it's not that...," Baekhyun says before sighing.

NAMHYE POV

"So what you're saying is that you're mermaids?! From the freaking sea?!" I exclaimed and Namjoon and Seokjin looked at each other before swallowing the lump forming in their throats.

"What's wrong with this place? Back then we had a kelpie and now we have four stupid but attractive mermen here at our home," I sighed and Namjoon rolled his eyes at me.

"I didn't ask you to take us in, we didn't expect you to bring us in your home, Ms. Nam-girl," he scoffed and I glared at him.

"You still won't shut up after calling me a measly, ugly, person huh? You wanna go?!" I grumbled and Namjoon rolled his eyes.

"Damn right I wanna go! Bring it, human!" He replied.

"Now now, settle down kids. Before I faint from being overwhelmed that there is a literal merman here, I'd like to propose house rules while the... true owner of this house is gone...," Taehyung sighed.

"Wait... this isn't your house?" Beomgyu gaped.

"Bad human, no manners...," Yeonjun shook his head.

"I wonder why humans always like to do peculiar things. Such tasteless creatures," Seokjin tutted.

"Says the one who put a huge hole in the sauna!" I gritted out and Namjoon stayed silent.

"No that's not it! We have an uncle. Uh..  a human who looks after us! And he's out of the house at the moment so please don't do anything stupid," Taehyung sighed as he stared at Jungkook, who was basically munching on his box of cereal.

"So you have your own human! Woah!" Beomgyu eyes lit up.

"You can... say it like that. But anyways! I'll present the rules!" Taehyung said as he took a piece of paper.

"Why rules? Aren't rules supposed to be granted by a king or a government higher-up?" Seokjin asked and Taehyung looked at him.

"You have a government in the sea?" He raises a brow and Namjoon tilts his head.

"We're not mindless fish. We have our pack, or a kingdom to be exact. We have  villages and status too, you know," he eyes him and Taehyung nods.

"I see. I guess you guys aren't stupid afterall, just... how should I put this... curious in a dumb way," Taehyung rolls his eyes before looking at the paper.

"But these rules must strictly be followed. Remember that if anything happens, I will kick each one of you in the face and pour salt in your eyes," he threatened and Beomgyu cocks a brow.

"Isn't salt like saltwater! It would be refreshing like a reward!" He chirps and the other mermen nodded.

"Uh... whatever you say... weird but gorgeous fish man," Taehyung seethes before reading the first rule.

"The guy named Seokjin and Namjoon will sleep in the guest room which is three doors away from my sister, while Beomgyu and Yeonjun sleep with me," Taehyung reads and Seokjin looks at him.

"I am definitely not sharing anything with Namjoon, this stupid crab-hating piece of sea barnacle," Seokjin objected.

"Crab-hating?! Not wanting to eat crabs doesn't mean I hate crabs!"

"You don't like to eat crabs, so you hate them."

"Seriously?!"

"Ehhh, why should we share a room with a weird human like you?" Beomgyu asked and Taehyung stared at him.

"You are definitely not sharing a room with Namhye, and you are sharing it with me because something tells me both of you are the most annoying ones," he stares at them and Yeonjun stays silent as he nudges Beomgyu.

"Rules two, no touching Namhye, no sleeping with Namhye, no staring at Namhye, no smiling at Namhye, no laughing at Namhye...," he raps off, and Namjoon's eyes widened.

"Why is it all Nam-girl in rule two? Isn't she a useless-oW! Humans are such violent and cruel creatures," Namjoon growled as I slightly kicked him in the leg.

"Namhye is the only girl in the house. I am not letting four suspicious mermen go googly eyes on her. If anyone tries to do anything with her, she might never get married and I will personally hunt each of you even if it's in the Pacific Ocean," Taehyung threatens and Seokjin gulps.

"But why should we not sleep with her? Isn't sleep the most peaceful activity?" He asks innocently and Taehyung and I glance at each other awkwardly.

"Well... I guess it works out... that way if you don't know anything," he replies stiffly before reading the other rules.

"Rule three, no going out alone or Taehyung will burn you."

"Rule four, never break anything, or Namhye will kick your human flesh sticks."

"Rule five, no one is allowed to take Jungkook and there will be five combination locks at the front door and seals on the windows if anyone dares to escape with him."

"ABSOLUTELY NO KIDNAPPING OF JUNGKOOK."

"Stay is only evident only until the four stupid mermen give up and go home."

"What makes you think that we'll give up?! We're going to get Jungkook, no matter what it takes!" Seokjin says and I look at him.

"In your dreams, who knows what you'll do?"

"Now that I think about it.....

....how is Jungkook so calm right now?"
