(Sonic's POV)

It became night time on planet Comida and we found a huge marshmallow to use as a camp fire to warm us up on a cold night. The unicorns and pegasus were with us and they really glow in the dark at night time. It was amazing at how these creatures' glow like bioluminescent.

"I had no idea how I did that. It was like instinct or something but glad I found something to bring a fat hungry zeti to maximum cell." Shadow said and ate the red frosting.

"I can't believe your powers evolved, Shadow." Amy hugged him.

"Yeah, I can't believe it either. Perhaps our powers will evolve slowly and who knows what we are capable of." Shadow chuckled.

"Yeah, and planet Comida is at peace without that hungry Zomon around. Those creatures sure are gonna have a hard work to do to heal everything around." I smiled and held out a guitar that I brought with me.

"Sonic, what was your father really like to you? Everyone knows the stories of how he battles alien invaders but we never heard the true story of you and him as father and son together." Amy asked, petting the unicorn.

"Well, when I was a kid, he would tell me stories of planets he been to like Pandora where the Na'vi people are peaceful beings that likes to keep their land pure and clean. There was a memory of the time when I was scared of the Deadly Six and bullies at school picked on me that Zomon will come and eat me or Zor will take away my happiness. I got so scared but my dad wrote a song for me and siblings. The song really helps me smile and forget about being scared." I said and played my guitar for my friends to hear the song.

This song brought a smile on them except Shadow as I played. It brings so much memories of my childhood with my father. I looked up seeing the shooting stars in the sky. My father's spirit of the shooting star was like a sign he's watching me.

"That was so beautiful, Sonic." Amy said.

"Thanks Amy." I thanked her.

"You never told us you can sing." Silver said.

"Well I've practiced with my siblings." I said.

"Your singing voice really has a good soul to it." Amy said, eating some cupcake frosting piece.

"Thanks. Also, my father once told me that a hero will soon rise to defeat the Deadly Six to save the universe. As a kid I thought a hero would be strong and pure hearted but there wasn't a single person who can be that kind of hero. Perhaps the stars chose us four teenagers. We did beat two of them, right?" I asked, putting my guitar aside so I can eat the cupcake frosting piece.

"You can say that. It's us four who's gonna beat them." Amy said.

"Well Zavok certainly won't be easy." Shadow said.

"What makes you say that?" I asked.

"I mean he's the leader after all of the zeties." Shadow said.

"Shadow, there's something you're not telling me. You know them but how?" I asked, pretending I didn't know because Amy told me.

Shadow sighed in defeat and took a deep breath, "Very well. As a kid, I was an orphan and this woman Maria took me in and raised me as her own. There I met Amy and we became foster siblings. I had so much happiness in me and Maria would tell us great stories like your father and other great heroes who fought those planet invaders." Shadow explained his childhood life but I saw him cringe in sadness, "One day, I saw the area getting drained like dry and lifeless, everyone was shouting and running for their lives, Maria was so distressed that Amy and I were gonna die but she put us in a space shuttle but Maria.....she didn't make it but she pushed the button to blast us into space to save us. Our Planet 93 was drained and there I saw the Deadly Six on a huge space ship using some kind of machine to drain the planet dry." Shadow said with fear in his eyes but he clenched his fist in anger. "We landed on your home planet and I swore to myself that I would protect Amy from harm, even if it means to no longer be happy I once was but to feel pain and cold and distant myself from anyone." Shadow held Amy close.

"Shadow, it's okay to feel sadness. My mother was devastated when my father died and devoted herself to raise me and my siblings." I said.

"Yes, but losing Maria left a great mental scar on me. You don't know what it's like to watch someone die in front of you." Shadow said.

"Oh, it broke you emotionally, didn't it?" I asked.

"Yes, it did for 10 years. But deep down I still show a brother care for Amy because I devoted myself to make sure nothing happens to her, even if I'm very overprotective of her all the time." Shadow said.

"But look on the bright side, Shads. We got Sonic and Silver, they are like family to us now. Silver saved your life from almost getting eaten by Zomon." Amy said.

"Yeah, you should be grateful." Silver said.

"Thank you Silver." Shadow said.

"What's your story Silver?" I asked Silver.

"Me?" Silver points at himself.

"Everyone has a story of their childhood" I said.

"Well, I never known my real parents but I was raised in a wisp farm by my foster parents. As a kid I was very naive all the time but also a coward too but as I got older, I was brave enough to face my fears but not entirely. My dad taught me space cartography and the stars were like maps to find my way if I ever get lost. One day, I received a letter from the Galactic Academy that I've been accepted and it was my dream come true to finally make friends." Silver explaining his whole story while using his telekinesis to eat cake frosting piece, "But it wasn't easy to talk to because it was my first time. So, I just waited for the right time to be ready. That's when I met Amy and Shadow and we became roommates for 2 years and it made my life so much better."

"That's interesting to hear Silver. You should've seen the wisp I won and gave to my sister." I said to him.

"Cool. But it is an honor to get three friends to speak with, going on adventures and doing heroic stuff." Silver said.

"And accidentally getting our DNA altered with superpowers." I said.

"Yeah, and some makeovers." Silver chuckled.

"Yeah, your long hair makes you look like the new Silver. Did you ever thought of having long hair?" I asked.

"Sometimes but I thought that having long hair would make me look like a girl." Silver said shyly.

"Well it's so obvious you're a guy." I said.

We got inside the ship to rest for the night. Right before going to sleep I thought about the adventure for tomorrow. I took out my sketch book and drew me and my teammates for a memory of our honor.

"We captured two zeties, father. I hope my team and I will capture four more." I said to my father's star badge.

I put it next to my bed with my sketch book before going to sleep.

The next morning, we prepared for the next zeti. Zik shouldn't be a problem; he may be an old grandpa but he is very wise and quick. He can kung fu too so we better not be deceived by appearance, he may be old but tough.

"It just feels wrong to fight an old man just because he looks like an old geezer." Amy said.

"Yeah but we got to capture him." I said.

"Yes, let's set course for next planet." Amy nodded.

"What planet are we going to?" I asked.

"They call it Cherry Blossom planet because it has flowers that grow on trees." Amy said.

"And apples too. Aliens that live on that planet are alien monkeys and flying dragons like the Chinese dragons." Shadow added.

"Alright. Let's go." Silver said and pulled the lever for hyperspace.

It took us seconds to arrive at the system the planet is at. It was Earth-like but had two moons.

"Ready to pick up flowers for the ladies, boys?" I teased my men.

"Ha ha ha.....very funny." Shadow was not amused.

"Flowers are pretty but I don't have a milady." Silver said.

"Well take your time, Silver" I said.

"I love to collect flowers." Amy said.

"As much as you love flowers, Amy. But we got a zeti to capture and I don't want him to harm you." Shadow being very serious with her.

"Okay Shadow." Amy replied.

We landed near a cherry forest with the petals blowing in the wind. I can also hear singing voices of spirits in the petals of the wind.

"It's beautiful." Amy looked around.

"Just like those pictures my father showed me for my sister." I said and it really is like heaven and paradise at the same time.

"Yeah. But I wonder where Zik could be at?" Amy then said.

"He's probably watching us right now and trying to be ready to face us." Shadow guessed as we all took a walk to see the view of the planet.

"Yes, but we're always ready. Let's go." I said.

We went through the cherry forest and saw some Chinese dragons flying in the sky. Their scales sure are very shimmering and glimmering at the same time. From what I know these dragons are often passionate but can get dangerous if provoked.

"Perhaps one could tell us where Zik is." Shadow said.

"I don't think they speak English or say words like us." Silver said.

Then we saw one of the dragons fly to us; I hope they sense we are friendly and not a threat.

"Nobody move!" I told my team and the dragon held out a pearl in its hand and it glowed. Oh, so it is a friendly type.

"Can you show us the zeti we're looking for?" I asked the dragon.

The dragon then showed us Zik meditating at some Chinese styled tower at some mountain in the pearl.

Silver eating an apple from the tree as he looked through the pearl, "He's way too wise for an old man to be meditating."

"Which direction is he at, Mr. Alien Dragon?" Amy asked politely but this dragon can't speak.

The dragon then pointed at east with its tail, "East it is then. Thank you." Amy understood and the dragon flew off to do its own thing.

"Fighting an old grandpa is so not fair." Shadow scoffed.

"Let's just go" I said impatiently.

"What's the matter, speed boy? You don't like us being slow?" Shadow taunting me.

"Yeah. Are we gonna find Zik or not?" I ran at where the dragon pointed.

But something pulled me up in midair. "Whoa, whoa, whoa! Slow down, Sonic. You really need to think before you run into action." Silver moving me with his telekinesis.

"We don't know what Zik would do to you. We gotta work as a team, Sonic." Amy said.

"You guys know I'm very cocky, right?" I said while crossing my arms, waiting for Silver to put me down.

"Obviously yeah." Silver said.

"And I like to keep that in my ego." I scoffed in annoyance.

"What we are saying is analyze situation before running into action. The three of us don't have speed like yours." Amy said.

"What's your point?" I asked when Silver dropped me. "Ow!"

"The point is don't die. Remember yesterday we almost got eaten by Zomon? Well, don't always assume it's going to be easy because life isn't a competition, it's about surviving and staying alive." Silver explained.

"Alright you got your point, buddy. Let's go." I said and we walked into the forest leading to Zik's place.

For the past 10 minutes of eating apples and hiking in this flower trees, we found him but we can't let him know we are here. We hid behind a tall apple tree.

"Okay, we gotta sneak up to him. Amy, think you can sneak up to him by being invisible?" I asked her.

"I'll try." Amy disappeared and sneaked up to Zik, who was sitting and meditating. Where ever she is, I hope she doesn't make a sound to alert that old geezer.

Damn it! Zik opened his eyes! He knows! "Sneaking up an old man, brash humans?" He jumped to a tree and grabs a cane using his psychic powers. "I'll teach you to show respect!"

"You should learn to respect the youth of beings!" Shadow threatened him.

"Hm!" Zik puts his cane aside and preformed the leopard move at Shadow.

"AGH!! THINK FAST!!" Shadow teleports everywhere at once to confuse the old geezer.

Zik looks around until he got woozy and Shadow then kicked at him to an huge apple but he was still able to survive the impact without feeling injured. "Technically, speed cannot defeat wisdom, young child."

"Oh yeah? But never let your guard down." Shadow said.

Zik then jumps up on the giant apple and began rolling it. It was going to crush Shadow!

"Look out!" I tackled Shadow out of the way before he got crushed.

"Ugh! Thanks" Shadow got up.

Zik then jumps off the apple to face us again. Then he suddenly whacks his staff at Amy who sneaked behind him.

"AAAGH!" Amy groaned.

"You think I couldn't hear you?!" Zik turns around and fires blue energy blast at her to make her crash at the ground.

"THAT'S ENOUGH YOU OLD GEEZER!!!" Silver grabbed him with his telekinesis but Zik whacked him with his staff which made Silver lose his concentration.

"Your powers are impressive but mine are more skilled! My apprentice Zavok too." Zik said and lifts him up with his own telekinesis. Then he threw Silver to the cliffs.

"GRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!" My bio electricity started to charge up from my anger.

"So who's next?" Zik looked at me.

"HOW DARE YOU HURT MY FRIENDS!!!!" My bio electricity sent out lightning at him but he's too quick.

"This little seedling will never a chance to bloom. You're like a weed, young child." Zik taunted me with hurtful words.

"No, I'm like an unlimited battery with chargeable electricity!" I ran in super speed, everything including him and the others were like statues.

Silver fell off the cliff so I'll have to save him in time or actually my time and space time of thing. I ran down the cliff and he was slightly falling but I can't hear him screaming due to how fast I'm going. I grabbed him and put him at a safe spot below. Then I ran up the cliff again to face Zik with Shadow. That geezer does have speed but not enough speed to go through time and space like I can. He was about to strangle Shadow with some kind of psychic ability but with my speed, I can knock Zik down to stop him.

So I jumped up and swept kicked the old man as time goes normal. "AAAAAGH!!!" Zik got hit.

"My skills are sharper than your words, old grandpa." I taunted him.

He got back up. "Your insults cannot penetrate my thick, wrinkled skin." Zik glared.

Something punched him out of nowhere but what? Oh, Amy did that. Man, it's hard to see her invisible.

"Think again Zik!" Amy said.

Shadow tries to think of how he made that interdimensional portal. "Silver, grab him so I can try to master my portal again."

"Okay." Silver held his hands out to grab Zik with his telekinesis.

"Hey let go!" Zik tried to break free with his own powers.

"Not a chance, grandpa!" Silver smirked.

Shadow held his hands out to create a portal again. "DO IT NOW!! I don't know how much I can concentrate!" Shadow said.

With a loud yell, Silver threw Zik into the portal to the academy, knocking him out.

"Yeah! That's how you beat an over thousand-year-old grandpa zeti." Silver said.

"Phew, I thought I was gonna lose you three." I said in relief.

"Whatever you did to save me from my fall, thanks." Silver said.

"You're welcome Silver." I smirked.
