A guy is seen boxing in the basement. Sweat rolled down his perfectly toned body and muscles. He was rigorously hitting the punching bag, venting out all his anger. He had a dark, strong, and powerful aura around him. His black piercing eyes focused on his hand movements.

Vivaan - Boss, Shukla ka pata chal gaya hein!
(Veer pauses Vivaan approaches him.)

Veer- Where is he? (he says with a platonic expression)

Vivaan - He is staying in Kohinoor hotel, sir.

Veer - Great (veer gives his signature smirk)

(Vivaan notices the smirk on Veer's face and instantly realizes what it meant. Shukla was now fated to be doomed. Veer hated a traitor, a betrayer more than anything in this world. And Shukla, he had done exactly that. He had betrayed Veer.)

(That's when somebody knocks on the door.)

Bela- Veer... Woh Arnav...

Veer - Arnav bhai ko kya hua Bela…?

(His gaze softens. Arnav was the only person in this whole world who could melt Veer’s heart, who could bring out his humanity. The wretched day when Arnav met with that accident, Veer had lost everything. He became a cruel and ruthless man. A devil to be precise in the eyes of the world.)

Veer immediately goes to Arnav's room.

Veer - Arnav Bhai...

(He sees Arnav sitting in front of the bed, holding his knees and a gun in his hand.)

Veer - Bhai, aap ye kya kar rahe ho..?

Arnav- Veer tu aagya...(he says in a childlike manner) Dekh na bela mujhe bahar khelne nahi jane de rahi hein.. Aur ye toy bhi mujhse cheen na chhati hein. (He says showing the gun)

Vivaan - Arnav sir... (Vivaan moves towards him but Veer gestures him to stop.)

Veer - Bhai aapko bahar jana hein na?
Arnav nods his head innocently

Veer - Thik hein phir tab toh aaj ki party cancel! (He says sighing)

Arnav - Konsi party?

Veer - Pizza party ka plan tha par aapko bahar jana hein, upar se iss toy ke sath bhi khelna hein .. Toh chod dete hein phir.. Kyun?

Arnav - Nahi mujhe nahi jaana bahar... Aur ye ganda toy bhi nahi chahiye (he says throwing the gun away, Veer eyes Vivaan pick it up)

Veer - Sachi?

Arnav - Muchi (he says cutely smiling)

Veer - Toh phir done! (He says with a smile)

Arnav - Waise mujhe na iss nakchadi Bela ke sath mat choda karo... Kuch karne hi nahi deti mujhe (he says pouting like a child).

Bela - Accha thik hein Ja..tumse baat hi nahi karungi.

Arnav - Accha bestie, chollyyy(he says making a puppy face)

Veer chuckles looking at them.
Bela hears him laugh and a thought comes in her mind.

Bela (in mind) - Veer tum duniya ke saamne kitna bhi dikha do par mujhe pata hein ki you are not a monster, you are not a devil and you still have a heart. I really hope ki jis andhere main tumne khud ko dhakel diya hein, usse koi roshni ki kiran tumhe kheech laaye. Tumhe mohabbat karna sikha de, tumhe zindagi kaatna nahi zindagi jeena sikha de.
Elsewhere nostalgia hits Veer.

*Flashback*

(Veer was holding a gun, posing with it in different styles. He was dressed in all black with shades on.)

Arnav - Tu kar kya raha hein Bhai, woh bhi meri gun ke sath?

Veer - Bhai bas yunhi.

Arnav - yunhi ke bache... (he says holding Veer's ear) Bata kyun kar raha tha..

Veer - Arey bhai woh kya hein na ki aaj kal ye mysterious bad boys bohot trend kar rahe hein... Soo...

Arnav - Tera kya hoga Veer...

Veer - No seriously Bhai, the aura around you is so cool.. I still don't know how you are single though (he winks)
(Arnav turns away, smiling.)

Veer - Wait.. Wait.. Aapne smile kiya.. By any chance.. Does that mean... ?

Arnav - Abb apne dimag ke ghode zyada mat chala aur sun.. Ye sab bas dur se dekhne par cool lagta hein par iske andar bohot andhera hein aur main chahta hu ki tum iss duniya ki roshni ko batoro aur andhere ke pass bhi na jao. Samjhe..?

Veer -Ji bhai

Arnav - La meri gun de(he says extending his hand)

Veer hands it over to him - Waise bhai Woh kon hei (he smirks)

Arnav - Veer! Go

Veer - Kya bhai, you are a spoil sport.

Arnav - Accha tu ja..

Veer starts moving but again turns back and tells.

Veer - Accha lekin bhai aap mile kaha usse?

Arnav - Veer ke bacheee!

Veer runs away from there laughing.

Veer’s eyes were soaked in tears. Thinking about the same situation in retrospect and the situation now, it hurt him. Arnav had always had his back and he loved him a lot. Though, after that dreadful day, everything had changed, he had changed, his life had changed. Forever.

Veer -(in mind) Aap tab galat the Bhai, roshni ki iss duniya main koi jagah nahi hein. Yahan bas andhere ke liye jagah hein, sirf nafrat ke liye jagah hein. Maasoomiyat ka log bas faida uthate hein aur mohabbat ke badle milta hein toh bas dhoka. Meri zindagi mai inn aasuno ki aur inn Jazzbaton ki koi jagah.Meri Kamzori ke wajah se aapki ye halat hui hein Bhai.

Vivaan - Sir, nikale?
Veer nods.

*Kohinoor Hotel*

Vivaan opens the car door and Veer gets down, dressed in a black leather jacket with a grey t-shirt and black pants. Girls were ogling him. Though a few also felt intimidated by the dark aura around him, none of them could keep their eyes away from him.

Receptionist - Aap sab kahan ghuse chale aa rahein hein... (But as soon as she sees Veer, her throat goes dry and she goes numb)
Veer enters shukla's room

Veer- Surprise! Surprise!
(Shukla sees Veer there and the colour from his face fades away. His body freezes and he starts shivering.)

Veer - Arey Shukla darling, kya hua itna paseena kyun aaraha heinn? (He says wiping away a drop of sweat from Shukla’s forehead.)

Shukla- Si... Sirrrr.. I am So.. Sorryy

Veer - Kuch kahan tumne?.. Nahi maine suna nahi.. Tumne suna kya Vivaan?

Vivaan- Nahi sir.

Shukla- Sir.. I am really sorr.. Sorryyy(he says holding veer's leg) .. Maine lalach main aakar ye sab kar diya galati hogayi.

Veer - Shukla what do I hate the most in this world? (He asks casually)

Shukla - Si.. Sirrr.. Sor.. Sorry (he continues muttering)

Veer -(raising his voice) Shukla I asked you something!!! What do I hate the most in this world?

Shukla - Traito... Traitors.

Veer - You know me so welll... (He smirks and suddenly his gaze darkens)
(Shukla shivers.)

(Veer pulls out a knife from his pocket. Vivaan grabs Shukla's hand and slams it on the table.)

Veer- Toh Shukla... Consignment kahan hein?

Shukla - Mu... Mujhe nahi pata sir...

Veer - Don’t test my patience Shukla... Ek last time puch raha hu... Consignment kahan hein? (He says playing with the edge of the knife.)

Shukla - Woh log mujhe mar denge.. Sir.. Please

Veer laughs and everybody looks at him

Veer - Haa ha.. Sorry.. Meri hasi chut gayi.. Vivaan, suna kya kaha shukla ne.
(Vivaan smirks knowing exactly what would transpire next.)

Shukla- Sir... Ahhhhh!!!!!!
(Veer stabs his hand and blood oozes out of his wound. Shukla screams in pain, helpless.)

Veer - Shukla yahaan Veer Singhania tumhare samne khada hein aur tumhe dar maut se lag raha hai. Yahaan maut bhi mujhse puche bina kadam nahi rakhti Shukla. Toh abb bataoge ya dusra hath gawaoge? Wow! That actually rhymed! Kitna talented hoon mein!

(Vivaan chuckles)

Shukla - Si... Sir...

(Veer lifts the knife again. He was about to stab Shukla's other hand when…)
Shukla - Batata hu.. Batata hu Sir.. Please.. Bat.. Batata.... (He cries out still in pain)

Veer - Good... (He says wiping Shukla's blood from his hand.)

Shukla - Consignment maine unke ek aadmi ko de diya hein... Woh issi hotel main hoga.. Consignment ek RED BAG mein hein.

Veer - Vivaan... (He eyes Vivaan to leave and search for that person) aur Shukla darling tum... (Looking at his men) Isko hamare special basment main lekar jaoo...

Shukla - Sir please mujhe maaf kar dijiye... Main wapis se ye galati nahi karunga (he says holding Veer's leg)... I am sorry... Ek mauka...

Veer - Dhokebazz, dhokebazz hi rehta hein shukla. A traitor is and will always remain a traitor!!! Take him awayy!

Shukla - Sir don’t kill me please... I don't want to die.

Veer - Die? Death? (he gives a dry laugh) Maut toh bohot aasan saza hein Shukla... Ek pal main puri zindagi ka dard khatam kar deti hein... Tumhe toh jeena hoga... Kyunki zakhm zindagi deti hai, maut nahi.

The men take Shukla away and Veer leaves the room. He knew Vivaan would easily handle the situation and get the consignment back.

As he moves towards the exit, he collides with somebody. He looks up to see who it is and his world fades away. He experiences a strange feeling. A feeling that made him realize his heart had been halted for a long time now. This moment was when it began beating again.
