Bani was shocked would be an understatement. Everybody was clapping around her while Veer was looking at her with a casual expression.
Veer extends his hand towards her with a devilish smirk on his face. Bani was looking at him with hundred questions lingering in her mind.  The crowd was filled with people going all Aww  for this beautiful couple. There were many eyes fixed on the couple and Bani holds his hand and Veer kisses her hand.

They together take the steps forward . Bani was so confused. Though everything which happened since morning made sense now. Everybody were hinting towards her and Veer's marriage. She felt stupid, why didn't she realise that . Why would Veer do that was the only question in her mind. They were clearly going through a rough patch right now and marriage..? Her mind was full of these thoughts.
Suddenly as they were moving forward Bani felt dizzy. She holds her head and was about to fall, when Veer prevents her from falling. The crowd gasped.

Mahir - BANI!

Veer holds her in bridal style and moves towards his room, while others follow them with  a worried expression.

Mahir - Bani bacha.. Tum thik ho? (Mahir
moves forward and sprinkles some water on Bani's face) 

Sumitra -(slowly) Manhusiyat failana toh iska kaam hi hein matlab.

Andy - Tumein bilkul sharam nahi hein na? (He says glaring at her)

Mahir - Bani.. (He says with a worried expression)

Bela - Mahirji.. Bani subah se hi inn sab rasmon ko tayari main meri madad kar rahi thi isiliye shayad thak gayi ho... Maine check bhi nahi kiya ki usne kuch khaya bhi ya nahi.. It's all my fault.

Mahir - No Bela.. It's not your fault.

Mahir/Veer - Apna khayal na rakhna iski aadat hein. (They say in unison, while a soft smile forms on the elders face)

Sumitra - Dekho mahurat bita ja raha hein beta.. Aaj Bela aur tumhari bhi toh engagement hein. (She tells Mahir)

Mahir - Maa Bani ko hosh bhi nahi aaya hein aur aap.. 

Veer - Mahir I know tum Bani ko lekar pareshan ho par trust me.. Tum jao rasam karo.. Main hu yahan Bani ke sath..

Mahir -Par Veer..

Veer - Mahir trust me.. Puri zindagi tumhari behen ka sath nibhane ka faisla liya hein.. Toh itna bharosa toh kar sakte hona.. Mujhpar.. Manyata maasi please aap inhe lejaiye aur rasam kar wayi.. I am sure Bani bhi yehi chahti hogi..

Manyata - Aao..

Everybody leaves from the room and Veer closes the door.He goes and sits on the couch in front of the bed looking royal and lethal.

Veer - Abb khol sakti ho aakhein sweetheart.. Sab ja chuke hein.. 

Bani slowly opens her eyes. Yes, she had done this enactment only to come out of the awkward situation and confront Veer.

Bani - Tumhein kaise pata ki main natak kar rahi thi?

Veer - Woh kya hein na sweetheart ki main tumhare rag rag se wakif hu. Pata tha ki aasani se jakar tum engagement toh nahi karogi.. So yeah.. Looked right through you.. (He says with a smirk)

Bani - Ye sab kya chal raha hein Veer?

Veer - Kya chal raha hein?

Bani - Ye engagement..humari engagement???

Veer - Ohh wohh.. Well.. I think we are playing  a game.

Bani - What...?

Veer - Tumhi ne toh kaha tha ki i love playing games.. Khel bohot pasand hein mujhe.. So yeah.. I am playing a game. And Veer singhania always wins them.

Bani was getting angry now but she tried controlling herself. Veer had anger issues and that was the dark side of his personality but she knew Veer was better than this and this dark personality was a facade which her hurtful words had activated.

Bani - Veer.. (She sighs).. Dekho.. Main janti hu jo kuch bhi hua usmein meri galati thi.. Maine tumhe samjha nahi.. Aur uss baat ko soch kar bhi mujhe ghutan hoti hein.. Main kitna Guilty feel karti ho.. Main tumhe bata bhi nahi sakti . Uss Jay ka ghatiya chehra mere samne aa chuka hein , main janti hu tumhari koi galati nahi thi.. Tum meri madad karna chahte the.. Uss ghatiya insaan ko sabak sikhana chahte the.. Uski ghatiyan nazron ko humesha ke liye jhuka dena chahte the par..

Veer - Hahhaa.. (He says clapping).. Wait a second.. Hahhaha..

Bani - Veer...

Veer - Kaise kar leti ho matlab ye..

Bani - Kya..?

Veer - Apne convenience ke hissab se baton ko tod madod ke bolna aadat hein tumhari nahi..?

Bani - Veer.. Mujhe samjh nahi aaraha hein..

Veer - Ghatiya chehra samne aagaya uska tumhare samne.. Toh kal uske sath waqt kyun bita rahi thi... Tum ek dogli insaan ho.. Jo mere samne mahan banti ho aur phir apne uss dhabewale ke bahon main...

Bani -BAS VEER! (She was about to slap him but she retraces her hand. Her eyes we're filled with tears) .. Tum mere barein mein itna ghatiya soch sakte ho Maine socha bhi nahi tha... Aaj ye hath sirf isiliye nahi utha hein kyunki main janti ho ki tum abhi hosh main nahi ho.. Jab tumhein hosh aayega toh tum mujhse zyada khudko kosoge Veer.. Main janti hu maine tumhe hurt kiya hein par..

Veer - NAHI! Nahi!.. (He says holding her shoulders a bit roughly ).. Tum kuch nahi janti.. Tumhara har ek ilzaam.. Har ek baat Maine seh liya..par tumhari wajah se sirf aur sirf tumhari wajah se mere bhai ke sath kal..kal pata nahi kya hojata.. Main apne bhai ko kho deta.. Aur jab mere bhai wahaan gadiyon ke bich dhake kha rahe the tab tum.. Tum uss. (He says remembering the call which Jay had lifted)

Bani - You are hurting me Veer..!

Veer - You too are hurting me Bani.. (He says and leaves his grip from her hand)

Bani - Veer.. Kal jo hua mujhe dhyan rakhna chahiye tha par woh ek accident tha.. Woh mere bhi bhai jaise hein.. Main parivaar ki importance janti ho.. Unke pyar ki importance janti hu.. 

Veer - Parivaar ki importance ek anath ko kya pata..

He says and Bani goes blank for a second.

Kabhi kabhi kuch lafzon se itni taqleef hoti hein ki kuch palon ke liye uss dard ka humein ehsaas bhi nahi hota hein. Aur Bani ke liye ye lamha kuch aesa hi tha. Dard . Bohot  zyada Dard.

Veer had now turned around. He was not able to face her and those tears which was driving him insane.

Veer ko Bani ki akhon main woh dard dikh raha tha. Aur woh Dard dekh kar ussi bhi dard ho raha tha. Aksar jab hum usse taqleef dete hein jisse hum mohhabat karte ho, toh ussi dard se humein bhi guzarna padta hein. Dimaag gusse main jarror tha par dil taqleef main uske bhi tha. Kahi na kahi woh janta tha ki usne jo Bani se kaha woh usse kitna chubha hoga par gussa aksar logon ko andha kar deti hein.

Dimaag aksar humein hisaab barabar karne ko kehta hein aur dil, dil ko toh kabhi hissabon se matlab hi nahi rehta hein.

She starts walking outside and Veer holds her hand.

Bani - Chodo mera haath Veer..

Veer - Chodne ke liye thodi na pakda hein...

Bani - Main sabko sach batadungi.. Ki mujhe ye shaadi nahi karni hein.. Tumse koi vaasta nahi rakhna hein mujhe..

Veer - Jao.. (He says leaving her hand).. Par.. Yaad rakhna ki ya toh dono shadiyan hogi ya dono nahi hogi.. Aage tumhari marzi.. Tum khudgarz banogi ya apne a bhai ke khushi ke barein main sochogi..

Bani- Tum itna giroge maine socha bhi nahi tha..

Veer - I am a devil and devil's don't have hearts sweetheart.. Remember? (He says repeating her words)

(He says smirking, though his eyes was clearly showing that he was in pain too due to her harsh words but then again what he was doing was wrong and he knew it himself too)

Bani- Tumne ye sab karne se pehele ek baar bhi nahi socha ki mujhpar kya bitegi.. Ki meri zindagi ka itna bada faisla karne se pehele tum mujhse ek baar puchu.. Meri permission lo(she says holding his collar, tears flowing through her eyes)

Veer - Veer Singhania doesn't take permissions, he grants them sweetheart aur tumhare alawa agar kisi ki itni himaat hoti.. (He says removing her hand from his collar).. Tumhare siwa agar kisi ke wajah se mere parivaar par khatra aaya hoga toh woh abb tak zinda nahi hota..

Bani -Yehi toh antar hein tumein aur mujh mein Veer.. Tum apno ke liye marna jante ho aur main apno ke liye marna..

Veer - Batein banana aasan hein Bani..

Bani - Waqt aane pe sabit bhi kardungi Veer..

She says and comes out of the room.

Manyata - Bani bacha.. Tum thik ho..?

Bani - Haa maasi (she gives a feeble smile controlling the turmoil of emotions which she was facing) 

Here, Bela and Mahir had got engaged and they were sharing a dance.
As the music starts they move their bodies with the rhythm of the music. They were gazing at each other.

Bela - Pareshaan hein?

Mahir nods looking at her.

Bela - Biwiyon ki ek khaas quality main aapko batana bhul gayi..

Mahir - Kya..?

Bela - Yehi ki woh apne patiyon ka jhuth bohot jaldi pakad le ti hein..

Mahir chuckles softly.

Bela - Janti hu Bani ko lekar pareshan hein aap.. Par chinta mat kijiye she will be alright.. Aap usse apni behen nahi choti bachi mante hein and trust me kuch hi dinon mein usne meri life main ek choti behen ki kami puri kardi hein... Par main yeh bhi janti hu ki woh bohot zyada strong aur samjhdar hein. Isiliye zyada chinta mat kijiye..

Mahir - Main tumhein apno rishton ke bojh mein nahi dhakelna chahta Bela..

Bela - Mahirji aabb se aapka har ek rishta mera rishta hein.. Pyar ka matlab bas roshni main,khushi ke palon Mai sath chalna nahi hota hein. Pyar ka matlab hota hein andheron mai bhi apne satthi ka sath nibhana. Jab saaya bhi sath chod deta hein par aapka sathi woh aapka sath nahi chod ta.. Aur aage se agar aapne aesa kuch kaha toh main wakai aapse naraz ho jaungi.

Mahir - I love you Bela. (He says looking at her with a loving expression).. I feel so lucky ki mujhe tumhari jaisi life partner milne wali hein, jo mujhe samjhti hein.. Mere jazzbaton ki kadar karti hein..

Bela - I love you Mahirji.. And waise main bhi kuch kam lucky nahi hu.. (She says smirking)

Mahir - Accha woh kaise?

Bela - Aap itne handsome jo hein.. (She says teasing him)

Mahir - Really..?(He says pulling her waist towards him) .. Waise tum bhi aaj behad khubsurat lag rahi ho Bela.

Bela -Kya kar rahe hein Mahirji.. Log hein yahan..

Mahir - Toh dekhne do..

Bani had just come out and she sees the lovely couple in front of her. She wouldn't want to seperate them in any circumstances and for now she knew that Veer could be adamant about his decision. She had to play along.
Mahir looks at Bani and starts coming towards her along with Bela but Bani stops them and gestures an okay from distance. She tells them to continue dancing with her puppy eyes which worked on both of them. Mahir and Bela smile

Mahir and Bela continue dancing.

Bela - Chalo shukar hein, jis cheez se mujhe mohhabat hein woh wapis aa gayi..

Mahir - Accha.. Kisse?

Bela - Aapki smile se..

Mahir pulls Bela towards him and she falls in his arms. Everybody claps for them.

Now it was time for Veer and Bani's engagement.
Veer comes towards Bani and gives her a glass  of juice.

Veer - Bohot tensed lag rahi ho sweetheart .. Dulhan ke chehre par suit nahi karta hein.. Ye lo juice piyo..

Bani takes the glass from his hand and drops it on the floor. The broken glasse pieces on the floor was resembling the condition of her heart which was shattered into pieces.

As the announcer announces their names. Both of them move towards the stage. Veer slips the ring onto Bani's ring finger.

The ring represents love.Veer had somewhere subconsciously imagined about this day and today it was happening but it wasn't in the way he imagined it to be. Bani wasn't happy. And this engagement was enforced on her by him. He was feeling bad, his heart was aching equally as hers but his anger had taken a toll over him.

Bani on the other hand, didn't know how to feel about it. The Veer who she was developing feelings for wasn't the Veer in front of her. And whatever happened today after that she didn't have the strength to feel or think something.
Bani also slips the ring into Veer 's hand.

Bani (in mind) - Why did you do this Veer? Why...

She was lost in her thoughts when she saw a red dot light on Veer's chest. Her eyes travelled to the source of that light. There was a man dressed as a waiter standing with a gun pointing towards Veer. He was about to pull the trigger.

Bani - VEEEEEERRRR! (Bani moved towards Veers, catching him offguard)

That's when the voice of the gunshot was heard!!!
