Next morning

Bani was in the gym. She was punching the punching bag rigorously. Last night was like a nightmare for her but the way it ended again brought back those feelings in her which she was trying to subdue since the last 6 months .

Flashback.

Veer - Dekha Bani .. Abb hum girenge bhi sath main aur uthenge bhi sath mein. Tum chaho ya na chaho.. Abb hum ek hein.

Bani looks at Veer listening to his comment.

She then pushes him.

Bani -Do.. Don't touch me.. (She gets up trying to compose herself.)

Veer - Kyun jin bahon main kabhi tumhein sukoon mila karta tha abb unmein tumhe ghutan hone lagi hein?

Bani - Ek mirage ko haqqeqat mane ki galati jo kar baithi thi main.. Rait ko sona samjh baithi.. (She says being emotional herself)

That's when the lights goes off. And Bani holds Veer's kurta out of reflex.

Veer - It... It's alright.. (He says holding her hand but Bani immediately turns seeing what she just did)

Veer (in mind) - Ye main kya kar raha hu.. (He says with a frown)

Bani - Sorry..

Bani (in mind) - Ye main kya kar rahi hu.. (She says being all confused)

Veer - Kash ek lafz sara dard mita pata.. (He says slowly) .. Main dekhkar aata hu..

Bani - Okay.. (She turns when some sharp object scars her stomach and she whimpers in pain.)

Veer - Bani.. Tum thik ho..? Kya hua?? (He says touching her shoulder)

Bani - Mai.. Main thik hu.

Veer - Nahi tum thik nahi ho.. Kahan chot lagi hein..?

Bani - Veer maine kahan na...

Veer hand touches her stomach and the glass piece makes a cut in his hand.

Veer - Tumhe kanch chuba hein..

Bani- Veer...

Veer - Shh...Chup chap yahan baitho...

(Veer says putting his finger on her lips.He touches the glass piece)

Bani - Veer ye mamulu si chot hein.. Not a big deal..

Veer - I missed you..

(She says and Bani looks at Veer in shock. She couldn't utter a word.what was she supposed to tell him that she missed him every moment though it was wrong.She wondered how something so wrong would seem so right. )

Bani-.... Main...

Veer - Nikal gaya...

Bani - Kya?

Veer - Kanch..

That's when the light comes back and she realises he said that just to distract her.
Veer takes out the ointment from the first aid kit. He extends his hand but Bani stops him.

Bani -Main kar lungi...

Veer - Main tumse permission puchi..?

Bani - Jerk..

Veer - Pati ko itne pyar se pehele baar kisi patni ko bulate sunaa hein..

(He says and puts the ointment on her stomach. As his fingers brush over her stomach. She shivers at the moment and looks at him with a frown on her face.He was teasing her with his expression where as Bani was trying to suppress her emotions and the way her body always reacted to his touch.)

Veer - Waise cheeze todne ki aadat hogayi hein tumhe chahe kanch ho ya dil.. Nahi? (He says looking at her intently)

Bani - Zakhm aksar todne wale ko bhi lagte hein Veer.. Aese zakhm jinka nishaan.. Jinka daag lekar aksar umr guzarni padti hein..

Veer - Ma.. Main study room ja raha hu..
Bani holds his hand.Veer turns and looks at her with anticipation.

Bani - Tumhare hath se khun beh raha hein.. (She says not looking at him)

Veer - Chot sehene ki aadat hogayi hein..

Bani - Main ointment laga deti hu..

Veer - I can take care of myself..

Bani - Pata hein.. Par woh kya hein na Veer Singhania ke tarah Bani sharma bhi kisika udhar nahi rakhti..

Veer gives a dry laugh and sits giving her his hand .

Bani takes his hand into his and applies the ointment carefully.

Veer - Kabhi inhi hathon ko humesha thamne ka wada kiya tha tumne..

Bani - Tum ye sab kyun kar rahe ho.. (She says getting up and turning to the other side. She was getting badly affected by his words.Their promises and memories hitting her one after another.)

Veer - Jawab chahiye Sweetheart.. Sawal ke badle sawal nahi..

Bani - Jin hathon main mujhe mera aane wala kal dikha karta tha abb usmein mujhe mere apne ka khoon dikhta hein..

Veer gives a dry laugh.

Veer - Main chalta hu..waise bhi kal se bohot kuch badalne wala hein and also tumne pehele ek galati kar di thi

Bani - Kya..?

Veer - ..Mrs Bani Veer Singhania.. Abb ye Tumhara naam.. Tumhari pehchan hein.. 7 janmon ke liye..

He says and leaves.

Bani continues hitting the bag.

Bani (in mind) - Jis mohhabat ko Raaz bana kar humesha ke liye dil main kaid karna chaha.. Aaj ussi mohhabat ne mujhe kaid kar liya .. Hasu ya rou apni halat par.. Behen ka katil abb mera pati hein.. Jo mujhse behaydh nafrat karta hein.

Kal ek pal ke liye jab usse dekha toh ji kiya usse gale se laga lu. Usse keh du ki uske bina toh aesa lagta hein manlo mujhse mere jeene ki ek wajah chin li gayi ho par main aesa kaise soch sakti hein.. (She says a tear rolls down from her cheek) . . Mera dil ka ye Raaz aansun bankar kyun gir raha hein..

Suddenly yesterday's events comes in her mind. The way he put the black ash in her hairline and those chains.

Veer had never behaved with her this way and yesterday was quite tough for her.
Everything was real .Her love,her emotions but she would never admit it to him.She wanted to hurt him just like how she was hurt by him.

She wanted him to believe that she played with his feelings just like he did with her friend according to all the evidences which was gathered. She was trying to hurt him while hurting her herself.

The only person whom she dared to give her heart, broke it into pieces but she was determined not to break.She would fight back and not give up.

Elsewhere

Veer wakes up as the sun rays hit his face.He was in his study. As he woke up last night's event again flashed in his mind.

These 6 months had literally turned his world upside down. The only one whom he dared to give his heart, the only one whom he allowed his real self to meet broke his trust and hope of living a life filled with love and adoration.

Yesterday seeing that hatred and no remorse in her eyes hurt him again. That look.. That hatred was eating him up from within. Couldnt she read his eyes, didn't she feel a single emotion towards him.

He wasn't upset with her because of what she did to him because of Khushi. He knew the importance of Family and for his family he was ready to go to any extent but what hurt him was her playing with his feeling. She told him that everything was lie. Their love, their moments, their feelings everything was fake.

He didn't want her to know the truth not anymore. He wanted to hurt her just like she hurt him .

He still remembered that day 6 months back. He was sitting silently when the jailer came.

Flashback

Jailer - Tumhari bail hogayi hein.. Bahar aao..

Veer - Bail!?

Jailer - Haan Bhai.. Abb niklo..

He came out and the person standing in front of him was Vansh.

Veer - Tum..?

Vansh - Haan

Veer - Tumne meri bail kyun karwayi.. Meri haalat par hasne?

Vansh - Jis din tumne Riddhima ki jaan bachayi thi.. Maine tumhe wada kiya tha ki main tumhara ehsaan zarur aada karunga.. Toh bas isse yehi samjho.. (He says not trying to admit that he was actually very concerned about his brother, his buddy)

Vansh was lost in his thoughts when Veer hugs him suddenly.

Veer - Yahan se nikalne ka jee nahi kar raha hein.. (He says his voice breaking)

Vansh felt a pang in his heart.

Vansh - Veer.. Tumhari pass kayi zimmedariyan hein.. Ek parivaar hein... Apne iss halat ke gunehgar se tumhe badla lena hein..

Veer - Gunehgar.. (He laughs sadly ).. Uski Jaan leli toh main kahan zinda reh paunga..

Vansh - Sach kyun nahi bata dete usse? Pura sach?

Veer - Main unki jaan khatre main nahi dal sakta jisse ye pura sach juda hua hein..Jante ho usne ye sab apni behen ke liye mujhse uss bat ka koi gham nahi.. Usse koi narazgi nahi par uss jhuti mohhabat.. Uss jhuthe wadein.. Usse mai chhah kar bhi bhul nahi paunga.. Agar sach samne aaya toh sara ilzaam uska pehela shak uss shaks par jayega jis par main ek kharoch bhi nahi aane de sakta...

Vansh - Shaayad pura sach tum bhi na jante ho Veer.. Usne tumse sawal kiya.. Matlab usse parwah hein fikar hein.. Jazzbat hein..

Veer - Usne khud kaha ki sab fareeb tha aur uske sawalon ka agar jawab main de dete.. Toh humari mohhabat par sawal uth jate..

Vansh - Tumhein nikalna toh hoga Veer is sabse.. Apni family ke liye.. Arnav Bhai ka socho.. Bela ka.. Manyata massi ka.. Vivaan ka.. Aur shayad Ba..

Veer - Main usee maaf nahi kar paunga..

Vansh - Waqt kayi baar haalat badal dete hein Veer.. Aage apni kismat hum khud likhte hein..

Veer got released from the jail due to Vansh's connections. Nobody knew it . They made sure that Veer would stay low for sometime.

The first person whom Veer contacted was Vivaan and he told him about the whole scenario.

Vivaan - She shouldn't have done this.. I will kill her sir..

Veer - Vivaan!! Don't even touch her.

Vivaan - Par sir..

Veer - Woh meri gunehgaar hein.. Usse saza bhi main hi dunga.. Aur maut uski saza nahi hein.. Maut toh ek pal main dard khatam kar deti hein.. Dard toh Zindagi deti hein.. Aur usse ye zindagi jeeni hogi.. Mere sath.. Nafrat karti hein na mujhse.. Toh roz isse chehre ko dekh kar usse uthna hoga.. Mera naam se chid hein na usse... Toh issi naam ko main uski pehchan bana dunga... (He says with anger and pain in his voice)

Vivaan - Okay Sir.

Veer - I want to know each and every thing about her. Kahan jati hein.. Kya karti hein... Uske umar kaid ka faisla main jald lunga..

Vivaan put all his people to work. He would give Veer all the details about Bani. The day Veer got to know that Bani was going for a rishta. He felt a prick in his heart. Anger, jealousy and pain consumed him all at once.

Veer - Itna aasan hein tumhare liye sab kuch bhulna.. Par main tumhe kuch bhulne nahi dunga.. Nahi bhulne dunga...(he says with his eyes red due to anger and pain) It's time to meet you sweetheart

Veer suddenly got a call from Vivaan .

Veer - Haan Vivaan.. Kaam hogaya?

Vivaan - Yes sir.. Humari dhokebazz Bhabhi ke location ke barein main kisi ko koi shak nahi hoga.. Company main leave apply kar diya hein.. Unke ghar walon ko Business trip ke barein main bata diya hein.. Baki ek aur phone hein jo abhi tak khul nahi paya hein.. It is locked .. Humne bohot koshish ki par it's like impossible..

Veer initially clenched his fist by listening to Vivaan talking about Bani in that tone. Whatever Vivaan was telling was right isn't but why was he feeling like punching Vivaan right now, was what he wondered.

Yesterday there was something which happened, something which he didn't mention about to her. It was a locket which she was wearing and that locket had their engagement ring in it. He wondered why she had preserved it, if this relationship was meaningless then why would she do that.

Vivaan -Sir.. You there..?

Veer - Ye.. Yeah.. Vivaan she is a top class hacker.. Obviously you can't open her phone . Leave that it's not relevant for us.

Vivaan - But sir isse humein rivals ke barein main kitna kuch pata chala sakta hein..

Veer - Vivaan I said no means no.

Veer cuts the call.

Veer then goes to look for Bani. He doesn't find her in the bedroom. He immediately starts looking for her all around.

Veer - Did she escape..?

He was looking everywhere and then he finally sees her. She was dressed in a black top and jeggings. He looks at her vigorously hitting the punching bag. The sweating rolling down her body. His eyes get stuck on her perfectly toned body but then his eyes falls on her tear stained cheeks.

Veer - Was she crying? Does she despise me so much.

Dont you want her to cry and you know she despises you, his conscious answered.

He still moves towards her and Bani sees him. They share an eyelock.

Bani - Tum..

Veer - Mujhe laga tum bhag gayi..

Bani gives a bitter laugh.

Bani - Pura ghar tumhare finger print se hi khulega toh kaise bhagti..

Veer - Kya karu logon ki fitrat hi aesi ho gayi heinn.. Ghar ko aaj kal bahar ke log nahi balki andar ke log hi lut lete hein.. (He says taunting her)

Bani - Kab tak rokoge Veer mujhe.. Tum jante ho tumhe mujhe jane dena padega.. Ya toh iss ghar se nahi toh iss duniya se..
Veer immediately holds both her hand upwards, catching the punching bags chain. He moves closer to her.

Veer - Ek baat yaad rakhna Bani.. Tumhe
mujhse maut bhi alag nahi kar sakti hein ... Main maut tak ko iski izzazat nahi dunga..tumhein mere sath rehena padega.. Mere saath iss nafrat ki aag main jalna padega..

Bani - Nafrat ki aag main jab hum kisi ko jalate hein toh usmein sabse zyada humein hi jalna padta hein..

Veer - Raakh aur kitna jalegi.. ?

He says and both of them intently keep looking into each other's eyes. Both their breathings laboured while their chest was heaving due to this sudden proximity.There eyes looking for something in each other's eyes.A long simmering fire was awakening between them. Her heart was thumping loudly in her chest . His gaze suddenly softens while his grip lightens.

Veer - Tayar ho jao sweetheart.. Aaj sasural main pehela din jo hein tumhara..Also aaj meri di hui saree hi pehna...

Bani - Nahi pehnungi aur nahi koi rasam karungi..

Veer - Thik hein toh main pehenwa dunga.. No issues.. Apni gharwali ke liye kuch bhi.. (He says with a smirk)

Bani gives him an angry look and leaves from there. As Bani leaves, Veer hits the punching bag very hard as it falls on the ground.

Veer - What was I going to do? How can i let her have so much control over me. Main uski jhutti mohabbat ko jitna bhulna chahta hhu, usse dur jana chahta hu utna hi pass uske khudko mehsus karta hu.. Janta hu usse mujhse koi nata nahi rakhna par main uski yadon ko chor nahi pa raha hu.

Bani wears the saree kept on her bed. It was a pink saree and she was trying to drape the saree properly but she was not able to do it.

Thats when Veer suddenly enters in her room.

Veer - Sorry ... (Veer says turning his gaze )

Bani - Tum mere kamre main kya kar rahe ho? (She says turning away)

Veer - Gharwali agar tum bhul rahi ho toh ye mera bhi.. And mujhe knock karne ki aadat nahi..

Bani - Toh aadat laga lijiye gharwale.. (She says sarcastically )

Veer - Sarcastic.. Are we?

Bani - Koi zarurat nahi hein.. Bas hogaya hein.. (She says trying to adjust the plaits but it messes up more)

Bani - Arey.. Ye ho kyun nahi raha hein..

Veer - Kabhi kabhi madad le leni chahiye.. (He says moving towards her)

Bani - Par..

Veer - Aakhein band hein meri..

(He comes towards her and he holds the saree, he moves around her putting the saree. As he moves he could smell her lavender fragrance which always drove him crazy. Bani on the other hand was feeling very shy and bare in front of him. She was breathing rapidly. Veer then makes the plaits and moves towards her.
Both of them subconsciously wished how these steps which he took towards her could bridge the gap between them.
Veer plaits the saree and then stops as his knuckles slightly brush over her stomach. Bani looks at him with anticipation.He opens his eyes finally and gives her the plaits to tuck it inside. )

Veer - Bahar aajao.. Tayar hoke.. (He immediately leaves)

Bani nods. She tucks the plait and comes out calming her heart.

Veer was standing out and he sees her. She looked adorable in that pink saree. Enough to take his breath away.

Veer - Wow..

Bani - What..?

Veer - Mera matlab hein kya saree bandha hein maine .. Wow!

Bani - Kafi experienced lagte ho.. (She says scoffing)

Veer - Arey ye kya ho raha hein?

Bani - Kya..?

Veer - Aesa laga jaise koi jal bhun chuka hein.. (He laughs)

Bani - Jale meri jutti.. (She eyerolls)

Veer - Anyways abb aa hi gayi ho.. Toh kaam. Start kare..

Bani - Do i have a choice?

Veer - Well you don't! So aaj ki shuruat peheli rasoi se karte hein..

Bani goes towards the kitchen.

Veer - Kya baat hein.. Aaj no comeback.

Bani - Woh kya hein na ki jeene ke liye khana zaruri hein aur main tumhare sath faltu baat karne main time waste nahi karna chahti..

Veer - Good for you..

Bani goes in the kitchen and she starts making parathas. Veer was looking at her from time to time. She had tucked her pallu in her waist and was making the dough. She had tied her hair in a bun and he just wanted to go and open it. While making the dough some dough gets smeared on her face. Veer internally chuckles. In this moment he had forgotten about everything else, he was lost in his sweetheart,his wife.How he wished that the last 6 months was just a nightmare which passed but it was reality.He quickly averts his gaze and starts browsing in his phone.

After sometime Bani comes with the paratha and mixed vegetable curry.

Veer - Serve karo..

Bani serves it to him and then takes her place on the seat.

Veer starts having the food. He loved it's taste but he doesn't say anything.

Veer - Waise aaj ki news tumne sunna ki nahi ?.. Ohh sorry tumhare pass toh phone hein hi nahi.. My bad

Bani looks at him angrily.

Veer - Inspector Kabir got shot in a shoot out.

Bani -Oh my god.. How?.. Is he alright?

Veer - Itni parwah.. Koi khaas hein kya?

Bani - Arey ye kya hua?

Veer - Kya?

Bani - Aesa laga jaise koi jal bhun gaya. (She says with a smirk and a little smile on Veer 's lips)

Bani - Also.. Ek khabar tumne suni hein.. Kuch samay pehle news main aayi thi..

Veer - Kya?

Bani - Patni ne pati ke khanne main zeher milake.. Kiya uska khoon.. (She says with a fake smile)

Veer chokes at the bite which he was eating.

Bani - Arey kya hua.. Ye lo pani pilo.. (She says giving him the glass of water ) .. Anyways main apne kamre main chalti hu.

Veer - Abhi kaha.. Abhi toh kayi kaam bache hein..

Bani - Kaise kaam?

Veer - Ghar ke kaam.. Jhadu pocha.. Kitna kaam hein yahan.. Itna bada farmhouse hein.. Toh kaam par lag jao.. (He says with a smile)

Bani - Sure.. Just a second.

Veer (in mind) - Kahan chali gayi. . Aur mann kaise gayi..

In a minute Bani comes back with a broom , bucket and a cloth in her hand.

Bani - Ye lo.. (She says handing him a broom)

Veer - Kyun?

Bani - Kyun ka kya matlab hein.. Obviously tum mere dharam pati ho.. Har waqt sath rehena ka wada kiya hein.. So come on join me..

Veer - Dont try to act oversmart with me Sweetheart.. Tumhe pata hein na ki tumhare bhaiyon ki jaan mere hath mein hein..

Bani - Veer.. Waise maine suna hein ki Singhania 's ne Raichand ke sath deal crack ki hein.. Agar tumhare rivals ko iss bare in mein pata chal jayega toh kya hoga..?

Veer - Tum mujhe blackmail kar rahi ho but i guess tum bhul gayi ho ki tumhare pass koi zariya hi nahi hein ye sab karne ke liye..

Bani - You really did underestimate me..

Veer - I did.. (He says indicating towards her betrayal)

Bani turning to the other side. She didn't like that look in his eyes.

Bani - Ye meri madad karega.. (She says showing the necklace with their engagement ring in it)

Veer - Matlab?

Bani - Ye ring ka diamond.. Ek button bhi hein.. Jisee click karne par mere database ke sara input release hojayega.. So now the choice is yours..

Veer - Itni important cheez ke liye tumne ye ring kyun chunni ? Ye toh koi aesi cheez hi ho sakti hein jisse tumne zindagi bhar sath rakhne ka socha ho.. Toh ye Ring kyun..?

Bani didn't know what to say. She couldn't admit that he was right. She had put the device on the ring since she decided that she wanted to spend her entire life with him and only him.

Bani - Tumhare har sawal ka jawab dena zaruri nahi hein.. Aur haan chinne ki koshish karne ka faida nahi hein.. Kyunki iss device ko time to time mere finger print ki zarurat padhti hein.. Aur agar aesa nahi hua toh bhi anjaam wohi hoga..

Veer - Toh tumne kal ye kyun nahi kaha?

Bani - Kyunki kal meri barbaadi se zyada zaruri tumhare liye aur kuch nahi tha.. Meri barbaadi tumhare liye ek jeet thi

Veer - Aksar kisi ki barbaadi se jab khushi milti hein na toh humse zyada barbaad koi hota hi nahi.. (He says looking at her)

Bani goes silent for a minute looking at him.

Bani - Ye lo abb safai karo.

Veer takes the broom from her hand. He goes upstairs and was dusting while she was dusting the hall. Veer was looking at her keeping the collected dust in his hand .

Veer -(in mind )Mujhe aesa kyun lag raha hein ku tum jhuth bol rahi ho.. Kyun tumhari zubaan kuch aur.. Aur ankhein kuch aur kehti hein.. Kya ye meri chahat ka natija hein.. Jo main chahta hi ki ho wohi main soch raha hu..

He was thinking when the dust holder slips from his hand and falls on Bani who was below unintentionally.

Bani - What the hell!!

She shouts bringing Veer back from his trance.

Veer - Shit.. (He says slowly)

Bani - Tumne ye janbujh kiya na.. !!!

Veer - Na.. I mean haa kiya.. Omg look at you.. (He laughs)...!

Bani - Main tumhe chodungi nahi . .

Veer - Mat chorna chorne ko kaha kisne hein? (He winks.)

Bani goes towards her room to change being flabbergasted by his comments. Veer smirks in victory.

Bani bathes and comes out in a black ready made saree.As she comes out she sees a phone lying in her room . She quickly picks it up and starts dialing Karan 's number.

That's when she hears footsteps approaching towards her. She hid the phone in the front drawer and starts acting as of she was getting ready.
Veer enters her room and sits on the bed. She drys her hair while he keeps looking at her.

Bani - Tum kya kar rahe ho?

Veer - Apni gharwali ko dekh raha hu.. Kyun nahi dekh sakti?

Bani - Apni gharwali jisse tum nafrat karte ho?

Veer - Abb nafrat karu ya mohhabat.. Gharwali toh ek hi hein.. Anyways tum thoda pareshan lag rahi ho.. Kya baat hein?.. Taqleef main ho ya kisi ko taqleef dene wali ho?

Bani -Aesi koi baat nahi hein.. (She says trying to act normal. She then starts leaving from the room when Veer holds her hand)

Veer - Ek kami hein sweetheart...

Bani - Abb kya karwana hein tumhe mujhse?

Veer - Karwana nahi hein.. Mujhse khud karna hein..

Bani - What do you mean..?

Veer - Get your mind out of the dirty things which you are imagining sweetheart ...

Bani - I am not imagining anything.. (She says being flabbergasted)

Veer chuckles

Veer - Anyways.. Main iski baat kar raha tha.. (He goes and gets the Vermillion lying on the dressing table and then fills her hairline . )

Bani - Ye tum....

Veer - Shhh.. Sweet heart (he then puts the mangalsutra around her neck. Bani could feel his breathe around her nape as Veer was tying the mangalsutra)

Veer - (blowing a chef's kiss) Abb lag rahi ho na tum bilkul meri dharam patni, meri gharwali ki tarah.

Bani turns and looks at the mirror. She touches her hairline where now the Vermilion was spread., she then looks at Veer through the mirror. She was not understanding what to feel at the moment.

Veer - Actually ek kaami abhi bhi hein..

He shows her, the pendant which had the ring.

Bani - Tumne ye kab nikala.. You know...

Veer - Ki tumhare fingerprint ke bina ye self destroy hojayega.. Database leak hojayega.. I know...

Bani - Toh phir...

Veer - Ye anguthi main tumhare ungli par dekhna chahta hu...

Bani - Accha mujhe toh nishaniyan dedi.. Tumhara kya.. Mere pyara gharwala koi nishani nahi rakhega? (She says sarcastically)

Veer - Uff.. Biwi bani nahi aur Haq jamane lagi.. I like it..

(He then takes out something from his pocket)

Veer - Ye yaad hein..

Bani takes it in her hand. It was the ring. His engagement ring. He had preserved it too.

Veer takes the ring from her hand.

Veer - Ye rahi meri nishani..(he wears the ring)

Both of them look at each other.

Veer - Aaj sham ko humari reception party hein don't miss it sweetheart.. (He smirks)

Bani - Abb kya chal raha hein tumhare dimaag mein?

Veer - Sabr sweetheart .. Sabr.. Sabr ka phal mitha hota hein.. Well kuch cases main karwa bhi ho sakta hein waise.. Also woh phone kaam nahi karta hein..
