As Bela left, somebody patted on Bani's back. Bani turned around and to her surprise it was Jay, her college friend.

Bani - Jayyy, Omgg.. We are meeting after such a long time. How are you?

Jay - Hello to you too beautiful! (He says and chuckles)

Bani - Tum, yahaan kya kar rahe ho?

Jay - Well, Ms Manyata ke NGO ke sath humari Catering Company kaam kar rahi hein .. So here I am!

Bani - That's great.

That's when the music plays.

Jay - May I? (He says extending his hand)

Bani - Yeah sure..

Jay - Can you believe it Bani, it's been so many years. We are getting old.. (He chuckles)

Bani - Ohh that we are.. (She chuckles too)

Jay - You remember our trio.. College ka sabse popular tha..I really wished our trio would be complete now...

Bani - Yeah.. (She says drowning in those past memories)

Jay - Anyways.. So did Ms Bani Sharma find The One for her ?

Bani - Well...

Veer - I am The ONE! (He winked)

Bani slightly chuckles thinking about Veer 's flirtatious behavior yesterday.
That's when Veer came towards her but he halted after seeing them together for a minute.

Jay - Tum hass kyun rahi ho.. Person itna khas hein kya..?

Bani - No.. No I was just thinking about my non- existent love life. (She says covering up with a awkward laugh)

Veer - Bani...

Bani-Veer..

(They both just keep looking at each other. It was the first eye contact which they made today.)

Jay - Am I missing something..?

Veer... My boss (she said and it hurt him. Though he knew that he had hurt her as well)

Bani - And Veer that's... Jay.

They both shake their hands but Veer
holds Jay's hand for a bit long tightly, making him slightly wince in pain while Veer keeps giving him death glares simultaneously.

Jay - I am Jay Mathur..Nice meeting you .

Veer - (slowly) Wish I could say the same.

Jay - What..?

Veer - Nice to meet you too Jay.And I am Veer singhania. (He says giving one of the most faked smile )

Jay - Have heard a lot about you Mr singhania.

Veer - What do you do Mr Mathur?

Jay - I work in a catering company.

Veer - Ohh I see..

Jay - So you and Bani are..

Veer - Partners! (He says smirking)

Bani glares at Veer While Jay gets shocked.

Jay-What..?

Bani - He means that he is my Boss and I am his employee. So we are professional partners.

Veer - Exactly.. That's what I mean.. She knows me very well. (He says giving a genuine smile)

Jay - Seems like you are good friends too.

Veer /Bani - Yes! /No!
Jay look at them all confused.

Bani - Anyways you tell me Jay.. Anyone

Jay - Tum samne ho aur main kisi aur ke barein main sochu toh ye tumhari khubsurti ki tauheen nahi hoga.

Veer - Tum samne ho aur tumhare muh todne ka urge na ho toh ye toh tumhari tauheen ho jayegi... (He says talking to himself)

Bani - Jay.. You didnt change. Like seriously.. Come out of your flirting zone. (She says giving a laugh)

Veer (in mind) - Zone se pata nahi par duniya se kahi na aaj ye uth jaye.

Jay - Anyways, I really think it's hightime that you find the love of your life.. You deserve the best.

Veer - She does. (He says looking at her while now Bani looks at him)

Jay - I will be back.

Veer - Take all your time. (He says with a smile)

Jay leaves and Bani also starts leaving.

The music plays.

Veer holds her hand and pulls her to the dance floor. And that's when he again admires her beauty. His eyes indeed just wanted to see her now, it really felt like the destination for all his pathways was her.

Bani- Kya kar rahe ho Veer?

Veer - Dance nahi karogi mere sath?

Bani - Ohh so now you are in mood to talk..no actually dance.. Impressive!

Veer- Gusse main aur bhi pyari lagti ho.. (He says flipping her around and slowly tracing his fingers in her locks)

Bani-Tumhare liye ye sab mazak hein na Veer..?Mere Jazzbat.. Mere emotions it's all a game for you. I am a doll whom you are playing with?

(Veer gets angry listening to her, though he knew that it was all his fault. He turns her towards him and pulls her closer to him by holding her waist)

Veer - You really think so..? That you mean nothing to me..? (He says , anger and pain visible in his eyes)

Bani - I don't know Veer.. It's confusing.. You are confusing. . .
(She says and tries leaving)

Veer - Bani, I am sorry. I really am. I know all this behaviour is confusing for you and i completely realise that. It's complicated Bani.. It's just that.. I don't know where to start from.. What I feel.. What I wanna tell.. It's just.. (He says frowning)

Bani - How will the complications lessen if you don't speak about it Veer?
Veer goes silent again.

Bani - You know what.. Forget it.. I have to go meet Jay.

Veer - Uss dhabewale ke pass.. (He says jealousy quite visible on his face)

Bani - Excuse me..!?

Veer - Do whatever you want (He says as his cocky tone was back. Jealousy really makes you do stuff you dont want to.)

He starts leaving but Bani holds his collar and pulls him towards her, catching him offguard.

Bani - Things can't be always be in your way Veer.. (She says, their faces were inches apart) .. Jab man kiya dosti nibhayi.. Jab man kiya cold shoulder de diya.. Insaan hu main.. Taqleef hoti hein mujhe.. Main Jay se baat kar rahi thi.. Toh kya tum Chadani se baat kar rahe the..?

Veer - I was just telling her that I will be there for her as a friend always, just like you wanted me too.. But wait a second.. Do I smell something burning here (he says with a smirk)

Bani - Yeah, I do actually.. I do smell jealousy here (she says pointing towards him)

Veer - Ohh really.. Me.. I am jealous.. I don't even know what that is.. (He says avoiding her gaze and giving a fake laughter)

Bani - Yeah, I could see that.. The tight grip on Jay's hand.. We are partners and you cursing him while mumbling and what was that .. Yeah.. Dhabewala.. Yeah you sure aren't jealous Veer.
(He then pulls her wrist gently and she falls in his arm.)

Veer - You know these days I really have encountered a major problem, Tum eklauti ho jo mujhe aese daant lagati hein, mujhse behes karti ho, par woh problem nahi hein.. In fact problem ye hein ki mujhe toh koi problem hein hi nahi.

Bani- Huh..?

Veer -( in mind) What are you doing aese paheliyon main apni dil ki baat batayega?

Veer - Woh...

Vivaan - Sir..!

(Suddenly Vivaan pats on his back and Bani leaves his hand. Veer wanted to live in that moment forever. The moment she left his hand, he felt incomplete)

Veer - I will be back..!
Bani nods and Veer goes with Vivaan towards the terrace.

Veer - Vivaan I hope you have called me for something really important.. (He says in a slightly irritated tone after as his moment with Bani was broken)

Vivaan - Sir it's about Euphoria.. We have got a lead..!

Veer - What lead? (He says in a serious tone)

Vivaan - As we know this company is the best Hacking agency for any kind of activity ethical or unethical, mostly the latter. We found one guy who worked in a gang previously who tried cheating this agency and doing a scam with them. And the very next morning the leader was ruined, income tax raids,his illegal money and works everything got exposed to media who brutally bashed them and that guy is still completing his term in the jail.

Veer - Anything else..?

Vivaan - The guy was talking about a letter which his Boss got the next day and it said that "now you know what's the consequences of messing with us ~R".

Veer - R!?

Vivaan - Yes sir that's the initial.

Veer - We need to find this person Vivaan by hook or crook. I feel this game is very big.

Vivaan - Yes sir.. Aap jaiye party enjoy kijiye.. Main iss R ke bare mein pata karta hu.

Veer nods and leaves. As he was going downwards . He hears Jay talking with some guy while looking at Bani.

Guy - Bhai kabse uss ladki ko dekhe ja raha hein, kuch chakkar hei kya?

Jay -(taking a sip of the whiskey) Chakkar toh bohot purana hein. (He says with an evil smirk)

Guy - Matlab!?

Jay - Main college main tha.. Jab mujhe Bani se pyar hogaya.. Main usse paglon ki tarah chahta tha .. Par iss ladki ne mujhe reject kar diya.. Ye aur humara trio ka teesra hissa.. Dono mere khilaaf hogaye (he says gulping down more whiskey)

Jay - Main college ka sabse popular banda, logon ke liye hasi ka zariya ban gaya. Tabse hi I hated her. She thought her so called stupid counselling worked on me and she got back to her sweet self but I am not over that incident yet.

Guy - So what will you do now? And why are you so sweet to her?

Jay - That's true she is a bitch but again a hot one. This time I have planned something big for her. I will make her fall in love with me this time and then dump her .. Obviously after Fuc..
Before Jay could say another word , a tight punch lands on his jaw, enough to make him the corner of his lips bleed.

Veer - HARAMZADEE!! TERI HIMMAT KAISE HUYI!??? (Another punch landed on his face)

Jay - Chodo mujhe... (He says in pain while the other guy runs away)

Veer - Ek ladki ke barein mein *punch * Tu aesa soch bhi kaise sakta hein???... Rejection bardaasht nahi hua toh tu aese zor dikhayega (he says lifting Jay by holding his collar).. Pyar toh kya tu usse pasand bhi nahi karta hein..tera pagalpan hein ye..

Jay - We can share her bro.. Chill

Veer was now completely on fire with anger and disgust for this person with such a mentality in front of him. He kicks him directly in his stomach while he falls on the ground, blood oozing from his mouth.

Jay (gaining all his strength) - BANI!!! (he shouts and smirks looking at Veer)
Veer was red with anger and his punches were still on. Thrashing the shit out of this guy . Bani hears Jay's voice along with the other members and rushes towards them. As she reaches the terrace she sees Jay in a pathetic situation while Veer punching him mercilessly.

Bani - VEER! VEER! CHODO USSE! (But Veer doesn't listen)

Bani tries to stop him but he didn't even budge. That's when she comes in between them closing her eyes and Veer stops his punch realising the person in front of him.

Veer - Bani...

Jay - Ba.. Bani.. Mu.. Mujhe bachao.. (He says holding her slightly from back while smirking at Veer).. Pata nahi ye mujhe aakar bolne laga ki mujhe tumse dur rehena... Ch.. Chahiye.. Aur phir marne laga.. Ba.. Bani.. (He says and faints)
Thats when the rest of the members reach there.

Mahir - Kya hua yahaan?

Bani - Bhai Jay ko hospital lekar jaiye.. Please jaldi (she says in a worried tone and everyone else rushes out from there while Veer gestures him that he would rip his throat apart causing a chill to run over his already thrashed body)

Bani - WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU!??? Why did you do that?

Veer - Cause he deserved it. (He says in disgust, he couldn't even say all that Nonsense which that guy had just said)

Bani - HE IS MY FRIEND!

Veer - HE DOESN'T WANT TO BE YOUR SO CALLED FRIEND OKAY!!! HE IS A DISGUSTING PERSON.

Bani - Then just trust me, you know I can very well handle it.

Veer - I trust you, it's them who I don't trust.

Bani - No, you don't trust me, you dont trust them, you just wanna control everybody... Cause that's what you are capable of. All this is a game for you right??? I knew it I just know it. You.. You are inhumane . . And for some reason I keep searching for good in you. Though I know you are a devil, a monster I keep searching for a bit of innocence in you but I was so wrong.. So so wronggg. . . Devil's don't have hearts.. I remember you telling me this once and you were right. You are heartless.

(She says in go, her each word piercing his heart and breaking it into many pieces . Obviously she couldn't accept him. The only person he thought would understand him was just calling him a monster. And now he was back to masking his emotions. Becoming the cold person he is. That's how he always covered his pain)

Veer starts laughing like a maniac.

Veer - Hawww(he says covering his mouth) Bani so aage kya plan hein.. Iss monster se bachne ke liye.. Let me guess.. Koi plan nahi hein.. Right..!? Toh bas meri baat mano aur uss dhabewale loser se door raho.. (He says and starts leaving)

Bani - Nahi rahungi.. Kya kar loge?.. Naam lene se mana kiya hein.. Lo baar baar uska naam lungi.. Jay.. Jay.. Jayy.. Jayy..

Veer - BANI SHUT UP! (He says being agitated and walks towards her. Bani was now between the railing and his solid torso) ..

Bani - Maine tumhe wakai galat samjha.. (She says with moist eyes)

Veer - Maine bhi... (He says now in a softer tone with moist eyes.).. Mujhe wakai laga ki.. Laga ki.. (He was almost going to breakdown when he leaves from there)

After sometime

Veer was in singhania mansion sitting near the fireplace with a glass of rum in his hands. He looked like a complete mess. He looked heart broken and ruined.

Vivaan - Boss..! (Vivaan says after seeing the broken state of his Boss)

Veer - Don't touch me Vivaan.. You know why.. Cause I am a monster (he says tear dripping from his eyes while he keeps laughing)

Vivaan - Bhai.. Please.. Calm down (he says hugging Veer )

Bani was in shower almost at 1AM at night.
The water flowing through her body along with her tears.
