Bani - Toh phir humare rishte ke liye kyun nahi lade Veer... Tumne mujhe sach kyun nahi bataya?

Veer pauses for a second trying to register her question. He continues shooting the bubbles while trying to ignore her question.

Veer - Abb hum aa hi gaye hein.. Toh khana kha  lete hein..

Bani - Maine tumse ek sawal kiya hein Veer aur mujhe uska jawaab chahiye..

Veer - Kuch sawal ke jawab aasan nahi hote Bani.. Jazbaton ko labon par lane ke liye kaleja chahiye hota hein. . Kisi dhokebazz se mohhabat karne ke liye kaleja chahiye hota hein.

Bani - Shamon kisi aese ka intezar karna jiske kareeb aane ki humara farz izzazat nahi deta, uss intezar ke liye kaleja chahiye hota hein, khud ko mar kar bhi jeene ke liye kaleja chahiye hota hein...

They both look at each other with teary eyes.

Bani - Hazar galatiyan huyi hein mujhse Veer aur sabse badi galati tum par bharosa na karne ki thi... Tumhe dhoka diya maine aur iski koi safai nahi hein mere pass.. Par tumse bada dhoka maine khud ko bhi diya.. Apni mohhabat par shak karke.. Tum par shak karke.. Mujhe samjhna chahiye tha ki mera Veer.. (She cups his face while he tries turning his face to hide the tears which were forming in his eyes).. Mera Veer kabhi kisi massoom ki jaan nahi lega.. Tumhaari chupi ko mujhe samjhna chahiye tha .. Samjhna chahiye tha ki tumhari chupi chikh chik kar sach bol rahi thi... I am sorry Veer... (She says as a tear slips from her eyes and she looks downwards)

Veer - Sorry...!? (He scoffs).. Tumhe lagta hein ek sorry humare bich sab kuch thik kar degi?.. Tumne jo kiya woh main bhul jaunga... Maafi galatiyon ki mangi jati hein aur bharosa todna ek gunnah hein.. Galatiyon ko maaf karna bohot aasan hein par gunaahon ko bhulna namumkeen hein.. (He says with an angry expression with pain underneath)

Bani - Sahi keh rahe ho.. Hu main tumhari gunehgaar... Par tumhari mohhabat bhi toh thi.. Toh haq se lade kyun nahi mujhse.. Kyun nahi kaha mujhe ki sach kya tha.. Maine sawal kiya tha tumse..

Veer - Mohhabat main sawal nahi kiye jata...

Bani -  Aur tumhe laga ki itna bada ilzaam maine tum par yun hi laga diya hoga... Apne pyar par..

Veer - Pyar nahi karti ho tum mujhse!!!
Isiliye ye jhuth mujhse wapis mat bolo..
(He says as a tear slips from his eyes)... Maine kitne waqt baad khud ko kisi par bharosa karna sikhaya tha.. Khud ko bataya tha ki mohhabat hoti hein, roshni hoti hein jo inn andheron se ladne ki humein taqat deti hein par mere hisse aayi hui toh roshni bhi bemaan nikli... Jab ek baar vishwas ka dhaga tut jaye na Bani toh woh judne ke baad bhi kabhi pehele jaise nahi rehta hein..

Bani- Bharosa sach se shuru hokar sach pe khatam hota hein aur humare bich jhuth aur galatfahamiyon ne itne deeware khade  ki thi ki woh bharosa dag maga gaya.. Par tumne mujhe kyun nahi bataya ki Arnav bhai se khushi pyar karti thi..

Veer - Tum phir Bhai ko chot Pohochati..

Bani - Main bina kisi wajah ek masum ko saza deti .. Do you really feel so??

Veer - Toh mera kya gunnah tha?

Bani - Veer.. Mere pass sabbot the.. In fact abhi hein.. Aur humein pata lagana hein ki unmein kitni sachai hein.. Par tumhare sach chupana se uss khuni ko aur waqt mil gaya khula ghumne ka.. Azaad ghumne ka aur mera dil keh raha hein ki Arnav bhai ki halat ka zimmedar bhi wohi insaan hein.

Veer - Toh abb sari galati meri hein?

Bani - Veer please!! Main manti hu ki meri galati hein.. Par kya tumne mere nazariye se socha hein.. Socha hein ki jab mujhe pata laga hoga ki meri behen.. Meri best friend jo meri sabse kareebi thi, uska katal mere pyar.. Mere jaan.. Mere humrah ne kiya hein toh mujh par kya biti hogi..??? Socha hein tumne!!(she says holding his collar and crying profusely)

Veer - Tumne apne parivaar ke liye.. Apni behen ke liye kiya hota toh main tumhe maaf kar deta Bani par tumne mere feelings ka mazak bana kar rakh diya.. Pyar ka natak karne ki kya zaroorat thi.. Apna dil nikal kar tumhari hatheli main rakha tha maine.. (He holds her hand)... Apne rooh ka hissa mana tha maine tumhe aur tum.. Tumne toh mujhe jeete jee mar diya.. (He says while tears flowed from his eyes)

Bani - Maine koi natak nahi kiya..Tumhe saza dena khud ko saza dene ke barabar tha.. Tumhe salaakhon ke piche kaid karke ghutan mujhe bhi hoti thi... Tumhe dard main dekh kar taqleef mujhe bhi hoti thi.. Jante ho kyu  ? Kyunki main tumse beintahaa mohhabat karti hu. I love you Veer!

Veer goes blank for a second.

Veer - We should leave from here..

Bani - You still don't believe me..? (She asks in a heart broken tone)

Veer - Bharose ke sath dil bhi tut ta hein Bani aur usse jodna aasan nahi hota.. (He trys leaving from there while wiping his tears).

Bani hugs him.

Bani - Shayad yehi meri saza hein ..yakeen todne ki saza.. Par bas ek baar mujhe apne bahon main lelo.. Kehdo ki tum naraz ho par mujhse nafrat nahi karte.. Kyunki.. Kyunki tumhari narazgi ke sath toh main ji sakti hu par tumhari na.. Nafrat ke sath nahi...

(She says as tears gushes out of her eyes.

Veer couldn't see her in this condition, he hugs and closes his eyes.

Veer - Sambhalo Bani...

Both of them were trying to take in this moment.
Somewhere both of them were questioning their fates and how things changed so much between them.

He pats on her back,trying to calm her
down.She looked devastated.He didn't say anything but his actions spoke louder than his words.

He didn't hate her ,he tried to but he couldn't.

Jisko itna tut kar chaho ,usse nafrat karna bohot mushkil hota hein.Unhe bhula pana bhi  bohot mushkil hein.)

Next day

Bani wakes up and realises that she had overslept today.

She gets up and gets ready. Today was her peheli rasoi and she was late for it.
Bani hurriedly came out of her room and went downstairs. She sees Manyata.

Bani - Good Morning Maasi..

Manyata - Good morning beta..

Bani - Mujhe kisi ne uthaya nahi.. Itni der hogayi mujhse..

Manyata - Arey Beta chill.. Veer ne bataya tha ki kal tum thak gayi thi.. Isiliye kisi ne tumhe nahi uthaya.

Bani knew that no matter how much ever he denies , he cared about her. Sometimes love and care can be projected through very small gestures. She knew he was hurt and she was ready to win his trust again.

Bani - Okay maasi.. (She gives a smile)

That's when Vivaan and Roshni enter in the mansion.

Roshni - Tumhare sath main wapis koi movie nahi dekhne jane wali hu..

Vivaan - Arey baby par you know me na...

Bani - Roshni..

Roshni - Bani di.. (She hugs Bani)

Roshni - Kaisi hein aap.. Aur Viv tumne bataya kyun nahi ki Di aayi huyi hein aur ye sindoor..

Bani - Arey baba.. Shanti... Woh main kuch samay peheli hi aayi hu aur...  maine aur Veer ne shaadi kar li .

Roshni- Congratulations Di actually not di kyunki abb toh aap bhabhi ban gayi ho... Aur tum Mr Vivaan Kapoor.. Tumne mujhe kuch bataya kyun nahi?

Vivaan -Mujhe zaroori nahi laga(he rolls his eyes and Roshni glares at him).

Bani- Accha ye sab baat choro aur ye batao ki tum dono.. (She gives them a teasing look)

Roshni blushes

Roshni - Woh Bhabhi hum toh bas yunhi movies ki baat kar rahe the.. Pure movie bhai sahab bas logic dhundh rahe the.. Matlab pyar ka toh apna magic hota hein..

Vivaan - Bhai sahab?

Roshni - Puri baat mein tumne bas ye hi suna

Bani chuckles

Bani - Accha ye baat batao.. Riddhima kaisi hein?

Roshni - Bhabhi bilkul thik hein aur unhe twins huye hein Vidhi aur Vihaan(she says with a smile)

Bani - That's such  a great news! Can't wait to meet them!

Roshni - So bhabhi aap bataiye Veer bhai kahan hein?

Bani - Veer ...

Vivaan - Sir apne kuch khaas dost se milne gaye hein (he says with a smirk)

Bani - Khass...

Vivaan - Ye dekho Sir aa gaye..

Bani moves towards Veer, thats when she sees a girl standing beside him. The girl had sharp features and menacing eyes. The girl moves towards Veer and puts her hand across his arms.

Bani - Veer ye...

Vivaan - Bhabhi that's Mayuri..

Mayuri.. The name strikes Bani. It was same girl who Vansh was teasing Veer with. Everybody has a past and hence Bani never questioned Veer about the same but seeing the girl holding his arm and getting inside the mansion wasn't exactly a pleasing sight for Bani.
That's when Veer's other friend Ponky, Daksh and Tapish also entered in the mansion.

Bani - Hey Veer.. Woh..

Mayuri - Apne Boss ko koi naam se bulata hein.. Miss whoever you are..

Ponky (whispers to Daksh) -  Aaj aesa kyun lag raha hein jaise yahaan ek ghamasan yudh hone wala hein..

Daksh(whispering) - Tu chup reh warna peheli pitayi teri hi hogi..

Bani - Well, Miss whoever you are, mere pati ko main kya bulayu.. Don't you think it's my call..

Mayuri - Excuse me.. What Pati?.. Veer?

Veer doesn't say anything which hurts Bani but she tries not showing her emotions on her face. Ignorance is the worst punishment which one would get.

Bani - Well Jaan.. Really tumne bataya nahi apni behen saman friend ko ki humari shaadi hogayi hein.. (She says holding his arm and removing Mayuri's grip from it)

Mayuri - Excuse me.. Behen!

Bani - Yup! (She says with a fake smile)

Roshni chuckles

Roshni - Anyways Bhabhi.. Aap toh peheli rasoi karne wali thi na.. So let's continue.. Upar se Veer bhai ke aur bhai aur behen bhi aa gaye hein..(she says looking at Mayuri)

Bani goes to the kitchen and starts preparing the food.

Roshni - Bhabhi.. Koi help chahiye?

Bani - No Roshni.. Peheli rasoi main khud hi banaungi.. Tum jao Viv ke sath chill karo (she says teasing her)

Roshni - Bhabhi..! (She blushes)

Roshni leaves. Bani was still preparing the food when she hears Mayuri talking to Veer.

Mayuri - Veer honey.. Let's take a picture.. Oops sorry.. Woh kya hein na ki mujhe tumhe Honey bulane ki aadat hein.. So yeah.. I hope your wife doesn't mind.. (She says loudly so that Bani could hear her voice)

Veer - She doesn't care.. (He says blankly)

Mayuri's behavior was irritating Bani but Veer's behavior after listening to her confession was hurting her to the core.

Mayuri - Cool. Anyways did you guys see my new post.. Damn I really wonder how someone can be so perfect...

Roshni rolls her eyes listening to the talk of a self obsessed Mayuri.

Bani -  Roshni personalities bhi photoshop ho pati toh kitna accha hota na..

Ponky laughs

Everybody else were controlling their laughter where as Mayuri was glaring at Bani and Veer was  expressionless.

Mayuri - What did you just say..?

Bani - I was talking about photoshop.. Tum toh natural beauty ho toh tumhe chinta karne ki zaroorat nahi hein.. Nahi Roshni?

Roshni - Yes Bhabhi bilkul..

Bani - Khana ready hein.. Aa jaiye sab..

Everybody settles on the dining table. Mayuri sits beside Veer, giving a wicked smile to Bani. Bani rolls her eyes seeing the stupid tactics which Mayuri was playing.

Bani had made Aloo paratha with raita ; the same dish which Bani and Veer had on their first Non - Date. For a second Veer and Bani look at each other but their moment gets broken due to Mayuri.

Mayuri - Oh my god, itna oily food.. Tumhare yahaan ye sab khaya jata hein...

Bani - You mean Singhania Mansion mein?.. Well mere apno ko toh koi dikat nahi hein.. Aur iss khane ke swaad ki toh baat hi kuch aur hein.. Haan tumhe problem hein toh tum apne ghar ja sakti ho ya phir khud khana bana sakti ho.. No issues (she says with a  fake smile)

Mayuri - Veer.. Dekh rahe ho tum apni biwi ko..

Veer - Ashok! Ashok! (Veer calls the head cook)

Ashok - Yes sir

Veer - Madam jo kahe woh ban wa do..
(He says pointing towards Mayuri.)

Veer had not looked at Bani properly even ones till now and this was bothering her. Everybody could clearly see that Mayuri was trying to demean Bani but Veer didn't say a word.

Roshni gets up.

Vivaan - Kya hua Roshni?

Roshni - Ek important call karna hein.. Main aati hu..!

After sometime Roshni returns followed by the cook with a soup.

Mayuri - Thank You Veer.... Mera itna khayal rakhne ke liye.. (She says keeping her hand over his. Bani clenches her wrist looking at the audacity of this girl sitting in front of her. Veer traces his hand back)

Mayuri takes a sip of the soup.

Mayuri - OMGGG! Veer Pani panii... Ye kitna teekha hein...

Mayuri shouts in pain while Roshni controls her laughter. Roshni was the one who put more chilli in the soup. She could clearly see how Mayuri was trying to disrespect Bani in her very own house and she couldn't tolerate it more.

Roshni (in mind) - Teekhi zubaan ke liye teekha khana..

Mayuri - Ye tumne kiya hein na.. Really you are so childish.. (She tells Bani)

Bani - Excuse me.. Maine kuch nahi kiya hein...

Mayuri - Really tumne nahi toh phir ye kisne kiya.. Tum ho hi itni insecure...

Bani - You know what.. I actually want to give you a really nasty look right now.. But kya kare you have already got one.

Mayuri - Is that the way you talk to your guests?

Bani - Is that the way you talk to the owner of the house? I am MRS BANI VEER SINGHANIA..

Bani says and Veers looks at her. Bani had first time addressed herself with his name.

Peheli baar apna haq jataya tha Bani ne Veer par.

Bani -Mera ghar hein ye.. Aur raha sawal Mehman nawazi ka toh woh tameezdar logon ki ki jati hein.. Batameezon ki nahi.. Aur sawal soup ka raha toh ye tumhara natak hoga.. Kyunki humare ghar main aesa kisi ne nahi kiya..

Mayuri - Accha toh tum pikar dikha do.. Warna abhi issi waqt iss Bekar chef ko yahaan se nikalo...

Bani - Sure.. Why not..

Bani says while Roshni looks at her worriedly. Bani didn't know about this and she was sure that Ashok could not make such a big mistake. For a second she has an eye contact with Roshni and the pleading look in her eyes somewhere gives a hint to Bani.

If Bani would agree that the soup was actually spicy then either Ashok had to lose his job Or Roshni had to embarrass herself in front of everyone. That is why she decided to not react to it.

She takes a sip and  she felt that the spicy flavour eroded her skin. She was habituated to have spicy food but this was actually too much. She still didn't complain and continued sipping the soup.

Mayuri was looking at her with a shock expression spread across her face while Roshni looked very worried. Veer on the other hand was just observing Bani.

Veer - Bas.. You don't have to eat it further.

Bani - Main kisi chunauti se nahi mukarti Veer..I know how to face it instead of running away from it (she says hinting at Veer,who was running away from her confession by ignoring her and trying to detach himself from her )..So let me complete it.

Bani sips the last few spoons.

Bani - Hogaya.. Mayuri ji aapko shanti mil gayi.. Abb main chalu..Mujhe aur bhi kaam. Hein .. (She says and goes from there.)

Bani enters the kitchen and stands near the counter. Tears were slipping through her eyes due to the chilly and her heart was aching too.

Thats when Veer enters inside the kitchen.

Veer  - Pani pilo Bani..

Bani - Mujhe nahi peena main thik hu.. (She turns away)

Veer takes a glass of water in one hand and makes Bani drink it by turning her around.

Bani - Ye tum kya kar rahe ho!!

Veer - Mujhe pata hein Soup teekha tha...

Bani - Toh!?

Veer - Tumhari problem kya hein Bani? Jalan aur Zid mein aur kya kya karne ka socha hein?

Bani - Kya kaha tumne jalan aur Zid? Peheli baat... Mujhe tumhari uss Morni se koi jalan nahi hein.. Kyunki mujhe tum par koi shak nahi hein.. Tumhare zubaan par chahe koi naam ho ya na ho par tumhari aakhein aur tumhara dil jhuth nahi bol sakti...

Raha sawal usse nahi pasand karne ka toh Bani acchon ke sath aachi aur badtameezon ke sath unse bhi do kadam aage hein aur mujhe us ka koi pachtawa nahi... Aur kya kaha tumne... Zid? Zid usse kehte hein jo tum kar rahe ho... Apne jazzbaton ko chupa kar.. Ye dikha kar ki tumhe farak nahi padta..

Veer - Mujhe farak nahi padta.. (He says and tries leaving while Bani pulls him closer to her)

Bani - Toh phir meri parwah kyun? Mujhe taqleef main dekhkar tumhe kyun taqleef ho rahi ho?

Veer - Bani.. Mujhe..

Bani - Farak nahi padta toh mere aakhon main aakhein dalkar ye baat mujhe keh kar jao... (She says looking at him with anticipation)

Veer looks at her and his gaze softens. Yes she was right. He was trying to run away from the entire situation by isolating himself from her. He was confused between his heart and mind. Acting nonchalant towards the entire situation was the best which he could come up with.

Dil maaf karne ke bahane dhundh raha tha aur Dimmag dur jane ki wajah.

Veer was about to answer when their moment gets interrupted.

Mayuri - Excuse me, tum dono ko privacy chahiye toh main bahar jao.. (She says sarcastically)

Veer comes out of his trance and takes a step back.

Veer -Main chalta hu.. (He leaves)

Mayuri - Oops tumhara pati toh chala gaya.. Shayad kuch khaas interest nahi hein usse tum mein..

Bani ignores Mayuri and starts moving out.

Mayuri - Veer will not be yours and I will win him back. Uske liye main apni jaan de dungi..

Bani - Peheli baat Veer hasil karne ka koi khilona nahi hein aur dusri baat .. Jaan deni ki.. Toh kya bologi Veer ko ki . . Ohh Veeerr.. Tum mujhse meri jaan bhi
Lo ge na toh main de dungi , to ye lo mera phone... Bas apna dant dikha ke phone thama dena kyunki jaan toh tumhari usi main basti hein... Logon ki kadar toh tumhe hein nahi..

Mayuri - You just wait and watch, main kya karti hu.

Bani - All the very best! Now get the hell out of here!

Mayuri leaves. Bani holds her head. This woman was a live example of headache. That's when somebody knocks on the door. It was Tapish.

Bani - Aap?

Tapish - Hello Bhabhi!

Bani - Aap mujhe Bani bula sakte hein.. Main aapsi choti jo hu.

Tapish gives a small smile.

Tapish - Bani.. Woh actually I wanted to tell you something.

Bani - Haan Boliye na..

Tapish - Veer Mayuri se milne nahi aaya tha.. Meri Shaadi hone wali hein meri fiancee Meera ke sath aur isiliye maine college ke group se sabhi ko bulaya tha... Mayuri bohot waqt se humare contact main nai thi and I had no clue that she would show up.. So yeah.. I hope tum Veer ko galat nahi samjho..

Bani - Tapish Bhai.. You don't mind me calling you Bhai right?

Tapish - Not at all. ! (He smiles)

Bani - Tapish bhai mujhe Veer par koi shak nahi.. Hum uss mod se kafi aage badh chuke hein... Par Thank you so much.. Aapne humare barein mein socha.

Tapish - Accha laga jan kar.. Main abb chalta hu Meera wait kar rahi hogi..

Bani - Okay.. Meera ji se main jald milna chahungi.

Tapish smiles and starts leaving but halts midway.

Tapish - Bani...

Bani - Ji bhai..

Tapish - That idiot loves you alot!

Bani - I know..and me too! (She says with a smile)

Tapish leaves.

Bani - Humare bich ke Galatfahamiyon ka anth bohot pass aagaya hein Veer.. Bohot pass...

How was the chapter?

Did you guys miss me, cause I really missed you guys alot! I was not well and then I had exams, events..This chapter is honestly  just half of what I had planned to update but i didn't want you guys to wait more.

I am having a very hectic schedule right now , so I am really sorry for the delay once again.

How was Vani's emotional confrontation scene?
