That night

Bani was in her room, thinking about the next day. She was looking at the moon from her window. It was a crescent moon.

Bani - Pure chand se zyada khubsurat adhura chand lagta hein. Adhura hokar bhi woh pura lagta hein. Humein ye ummed rehti hein ki ye ek din pura hojayega par jab woh pura hota hein toh aksar ammavas ke din ka ehsaas hone lagta hein,uske aane ka dar satane lagta hein. Humara ye rishta adhura hi accha hein Veer.. Ek hona.. Pura hona humari kismat main nahi aur agar hum pure ho bhi gaye toh kayi logon ke zindagiyon main amaavas ka kala pan chaa jayega..
That's when she hears the sound of door opening. It was Veer.

Bani - Tum?

Veer - One and only..

Bani - Tum yahan kya kar rahe ho?

Veer - You mean main apne kamre main kya kar raha hu? (He asks arching one eyebrow while sitting on the bed)

Bani - Abb ye mera kamra hein..

Veer - Ye humara kamra hein sweetheart.. Come on pati ko kitne din study mein sulane ka socha tha..

Bani - I am not sleeping on the same bed with you..

Veer - Look I understand I am hot , it is kinda hard to resist me..par tumhe couch pe sone main kitna dikat hoga socho..

Bani - Main couch pe..?

Veer - Aur nahi toh kya.. Tumhe laga main tumhare liye apne pyare bed ko sacrifice karne wala hu.. Bas ek din ka welcome  gift samjh lo kal ko..

Bani - You know what you are.. Leave it.. Main couch pe sone ja rahi hu..

Veer pulls Bani towards him making her fall on him.

Veer - Dekho Bani.. Ye bed bohot bada hein and   mera koi irradon par shak karne ki zarurat hein nahi.. Tumhare sath hu kyunki tumse nafrat hein.. Kyunki tumse badla lena hein..Mere andar ki Mohhabat ka tumne khud apne hathon se gala ghota hein.. Yaad hein na?

( She was trying to say something but she couldn't find words.His statement really did hurt her.)

Veer - Dil se nikal dena tumhara faisla tha.. Kamre se nikalne ka faisla toh mujhe lene do..

Bani - Tu.. Tum..

Veer - Before you say something else.. Lets do one more thing.. (He gets up and gets a white cloth which he ties across the middle of the bed, dividing it into two portions)

Veer - Abb thik hein..?

Bani nods.

Veer - Great then.. Good night and kisi bhi cheez ki zarurat ho.... Toh mujhe bilkul disturb mat karna. (He says and turns to the other side)

Bani also turns to the other side and her gaze falls upon the ring on her finger.

Veer was also not asleep yet he was himself looking at the ring on his finger, thinking about everything which was happening.

Bani/Veer- (in mind)  I wish things were different.

Both of them fell asleep with this as their last thought.

Next Morning

Bani got up as the sunrays hit her face. She slowly opens her eyes and her eyes falls on Veer who she could see partially due to the cloth in between them.

She gets up and then realises that Veer was holding her hand firmly. She tries removing her hand but she wasn't able to do it. She goes to his side by removing the cloth in between them from the other hand. She was trying to remove it but she couldn't. . She looks at him again and something she melts within. Her gaze right now was full of love.She caresses his face, running her hand through his hair.

In a moment she realises what she was doing and she immediately withdraws her hand.

She is about to leave the bed when Veer holds her hand and pulls her closer again.

Veer - Good Morning Sweetheart.

Bani- Matlab tum jaage huye the?

Veer- Aaj tumhare liye maine apni doosri mohhabat ki kurbani dedi. Samajhlo kitni lucky ho tum.

Bani- Dusri mohhabat?

Veer- Meri neend.

(Bani laughs a little and Veer looks at her laughing genuinely.)

Veer -  Sahi kehte hein log.. Dhoke aksar bade haseen hote hein..

He says and Bani's expression changes.

Bani- Mujhe nahaane jaana hein.

Veer- Toh usme kya problem? Kisi ne roka hein? In fact agar kuch help chahiye toh... (He winks)

Bani - Niklo yaahan se abhi! Aur guestroom neeche hein. Tum wahaan naha lena.

Veer- Arreeee (he laughs)

After sometime

Veer was making a coffee for himself. He was dressed in a hoodie and pants.He comes out with his coffee mug and was about to take a sip when he sees Bani coming down stairs dressed in a crop top and shorts. She looked hot and Veer took a big sip of the coffee which was hot as well.

Veer - Ohh shit...

Bani - What happened..?

Veer - Hot ho..

Bani - Huh..?

Veer - I mean hot hein meri Coffee...

Bani - Jab pata tha.. Toh cold coffee samjh kar itna zyada kyun ghatak liya..

Veer - Woh kya hein ka ki mujhe kuch time pehele hi ehsas hua ki main cheezon ko aur logon ko kafi galat samjhne laga hu.. Or should I say bilkul opposite samjhne laga hu.

He says taunting her again.

Bani - Main apne liye chai banane ja rahi hu.. (She goes towards the kitchen)

That's when the door bell rang. Veer goes and opens the door, it was Vivaan.

Veer - Vivaan.. Tum itni subah subah..?

Vivaan - Sir.. Ek problem hogayi hein..

Veer - Kya Vivaan..?

Vivaan - Raichands Ko humare contract ke barein mein pata chal gaya hein !

Veer - How is this possible.. Iss contract ke barein mein bohot kam log jante the aur agar unko inke barein mein pata chala hein.. That clearly means that there is a traitor among us. Jis din ghar par attack hua tha uss din bhi kisi ne andar se hi madad ki thi uss insaan ki.. Who could it be..

Vivaan - Sir not just that.. They are even breaching into our system.. Issi wajah se woh humse better proposition ke sath aaye hein.. What should be our first step?

Veer - Well..

Bani - I can help (Bani says coming out of the kitchen)

Veer - How..!?

Bani - Well if you are forgetting I am an ethical hacker.

Veer - Exactly my point... You are an ethical hacker, why would you help us then?

Bani - I am not helping you, I am helping my self. Mera agla target Raichands hi the. Bura aur zyada bura main obviously zyada bura ko chunungi... So yeah..

Vivaan - Why should we trust a traitor like you? (He says rudely and Veer clenches his fist. He didn't like anybody else talking in that tone with Bani.)

Bani - It was just a suggestion.. Aage tum logon ki marzi..

Vivaan - Humari marzi ye hein ki you stay the fuck out of our business.. Ms traitor!!

Veer - VIVAAN! SHUT UP! Look tum naraz ho.. Meri chinta karte ho.. Par tum aese baat nahi kar sakte Bani se.. Woh meri gunehgaar hein aur isiliye usse kosne ka ya saza dene ka haq sirf aur sirf mujhe hein. Baki duniya ke liye woh Mrs BANI VEER SINGHANIA hein.. Aur ye tum nahi bhul sakte hein.

Bani just looks at Veer who had just taken a stand for her. Vivaan on the other hand had a very different expression spread across his face.

Vivaan -(lowering his gaze) okay Sir.

Veer - Bani you still up to help us out?

Bani - Ye.. Yeah..!

Veer - Chalo phir.

Bani and Veer were in the car now. Bani was still wondering why Veer did that.. Why did he take a stand for her. She was finally out of the the mansion but her mind was somewhere else. There was an awkward silence between them.

Veer - Bhagne ki koshish mat karna.. Tum janti ho ki ye mumkin nahi..

Bani - Janti hu..

They were again silent.

Bani - Agar tumhe bhi mujhpar bharosa nahi tha toh phir mere liye stand kyun liya..? (She asks it like a genuine question)

Veer - Kyunki main cheezon main apne hisaab se karta hu.. As simple as that..

Bani - Ye sab kaam tum chod kyun nahi dete? Kya milta hein ye karke? Logon ko lut kar kaise sukoon pate ho?

Veer gives a bitter laughter.

Veer - Tumne bhi mujhe iss kadar luta aur aahat bhi nahi honedi.. Apna nasha bhi karwaya aur aadat bhi na hone di. Maine toh shikayat nahi kiya, toh tum kiss haq se shikaayat kar rahi ho?

Bani - Tum har sawal ka jawaab yehi nahi de sakte ho. Har baar iss baat ko bich mein nahi la sakte ho.

Veer - Pata hein Bani.. Dhokebazi ki ek kharoch kafi hein bharosa ki maut ke liye aur mere yakeen ka tumne khoon kar diya hein.. Aur khoon ki mafi toh tumhara kanoon bhi nahi deta hein.

Bani - Dil kya bas tumhara dukha tha...? Taqleef sirf tumhe huyi thi? Agar koj gair khanjar marein toh taqleef nahi hoti aur koi apna mare toh hum hazar maut marte hein .. Tumhe lagta hein maine tumhe dhoka diya hein.. Tumhare yakken toh toda hein par tumne ye mujhse pehele kiya tha.. Arey mai toh tumse pyar.. (She says and stops in middle)

Veer - Kya..!? (He says stopping the car, they had reached the destination)

Bani- Ku..Kuch nahi.

Veer - You said ki tum mujhse pyar..

Bani comes out of the car. Veer also follows her and was about to question her when one of the members came out and saw them.

Guy - Boss,madam.Aaiye andar.
Bani immediately goes inside.

Bani(in mind) - Ye mai kya kehene wali thi..

Veer - (in mind) Tum kya sach mein wohi kehne wali thi toh mujhe laga..

They get inside and Veer introduces Bani to his members.

Guy - Ma'am hum unke cyber attack ko prevent karne ki koshish karne wale hi the..

Bani - That's a wrong move..! Look unko lagta hein ki we are unaware about all this.. So first of all don't waste your energy on prevention of the cyber attack rather humein unke system ko breach karna padega..agar humne cyber attack prevent karne ki koshish ki toh unhein hum par aur shak hojayega.. So let's not do that.. In fact make sure kuch uploads ho rahe hein timely, just use fake data...

Veer was looking at Bani with awe. The way she was handling everything, he was kinda proud of her. He obviously knew that she was a professional but he was witnessing her working style for the first time.

Bani - Clear?

Guy - Yes ma'am!

Bani - Great!

Bani started working while Veer was planning the change in plan simultaneously while glancing at her in short interval of time.

3:00 PM

Bani successfully breached through their system while Veer was ready with a new plans.

Guy - Ma'am how did you decide to become a black hat.. You are genius.

Bani - Well, I am a white hat or a grey hat from today maybe.

Other guy - Sir ye log computer main aese topiton ki batein kyun kar rahe hein..

Veer - Woh hats ki baat nahi kar rahe .. Black hat ka matlab hota hein woh hackers jo unethical kaam karte hein aur white ka matlab jo ethical kaam karte hein..

Other guy - Matlab?

Veer - Tu chor de bhai..

Bani - Veer...

Veer - Haan

Bani - Inn confidential files ka password chahiye..

Veer - I thought you were an hacker.. (He says trying to pick a fight with her. He really loved irritating her)

Bani - Unnecessarily hacking nahi karte hein hum Mr Singhania.. So please do the honors...

Veer bends over from behind her chair and enters the password.

She sees that the password was the date on which they had their first Non- Date.She turns to his side looking at him with amusement. Thats when they both realise how close they were to each other. One step forward could step up things between them. They move away from each other.

Veer - Wo.. Woh I change the password from. Time to time.. Kuch waqt se mauka nahi mila. (He says trying to justify himself while Bani doesn't say anything)

Veer then tells the entire plan to the team while Bani gives few insights from her end. Veer keeps looking at Bani while she keeps explaining things to them.

Guy - Sir!

Veer was still looking at Bani. He was trying to read her, understand her. She almost said that she was actually in love with him.. Did she really mean it? His mind was occupied with all these thoughts.

Guy - SIR!

Veer - Ye.. Yes

Guy - So should we go ahead with it?

Veer - Yes.. Do as your ma'am said. (He says looking at her)
Everybody leaves.

Veer - Ye lo.. (Veer hands over her phone to Bani)

Bani : Ye..?

Veer - Bas kuch waqt ke liye.. Mahir se baat karlo..

Bani - Aaj ye ehsaan kyun?

Veer - Tumne bhi meri madad ki toh bas isiliye... (He gives the phone and goes away)

Bani calls Mahir.

Bani - Hello Bhai

Mahir - Bani.. Tu kaisi hein.. Ye sudden trip aur tune do din se call bhi nahi kiya.. Thik toh hein na?

Bani - Haan Bhai main thik hu.. Ye project suddenly aa gaya so yeah..!

Bela - Mujhe bhi phone dijiye.. (She hears Bela talking to Mahir)

Bani - Hello Bhabhi!

Bela - Hello kaisi hein?

Bani - Great.. Managing some really hectic work.

Bela - Well, sorry to disturb you but I really wanted to tell you something .

Bani - Yeah sure Bhabhi, you don't have to apologize. Boliye na..

Bela - Bani woh jis din tujhe urgently jana pada uss din Kabir ka call aaya tha.. Woh tere barein mein puch raha tha toh humne bata diya..

Bani - Ohh..

Bela - You know he got shot in a shoot out recently.. And i think you should talk to him once.. If you are cool with it.. Chal tera zyada time nahi lungi.. Bye.

Bani - Bye bhabhi.

Bani cuts the call and sees that on the day of the kidnapping she had 10 missed call from an unknown number which turned out to be Kabir's. She decided to give him a call.

Kabir - Hello Bani!

Bani - Hello Kabir. (She sees a notification on the screen and puts the phone on speaker)

Kabir - How are you ?

Bani - I am great Kabir. Infact i should be the one asking you about it.. Are you alright now?

Kabir - I am fine Bani.. You know our work na..

Bani - Yeah.. I get it..

Kabir - Uss din tum itni jaldi chali gayi.. Main pareshan hogaya.. Sab thik na?.. I heard you went for some meeting ..

Bani - Yeah.. I did

Kabir - Well, I also wanted to talk about something else..

Bani - Yeah.. Tell me

Kabir - Bani, I know you said that we probably don't belong with each other but..

That's when Veer enters in the room with food in his hand.

Kabir - Bani I feel something for you. I mean you know we are so similar , our passion for our work , our working style everything is so similar. I really want you to give me a chance. I wont force you but if you could consider it once..

Bani - Kabir..

Kabir - You don't have to answer it now..Return from your meeting and then give me an answer.By the way you look really good in black.

(He says and cuts the call. Bani decided to clear it out things once again with him once she goes out. Anyways planning to go out was supposed to be the first question right now.

On the other hand, Veer was fuming in anger. He gritted his teeth while he clenched his fist.

He kept the food on the table while Bani turned acknowledging his presence. )

Bani - Veer..

She comes towards the him, near to the table.

Bani - You brought food ..?

Veer suddenly grips her neck lightly, catching her Offguard.

Veer - Do you know whom you belong to?

Bani - What the hell Veer!?

Veer - You are Fucking mine. Mine to hate, mine to cherish, mine to do whatever I wanna do.

Bani - I am not a fucking doll Veer.

Veer - I was not a fucking doll too but what did you do.. You used me for your mission, you played with my feelings for your mission.. You broke me And now you are...(He says with anger and pain visible in his eyes)

Bani - You are hurting me Veer.. (She says and he leaves her immediately, his gaze softens)

Veer - I.. I am.. So.. Sorry(he says taking a step towards her)

Bani - Don't come near me.. Stay right there!!(Veer leaves from there realizing what he had just done)

Later they leave  for the mansion. The entire journey was filed with silence. Veer was angry but guilty because of what he had done. Bani on the other hand was a bit shaken up and her decision to leave became more prominent.

Later that night.

Bani was dressing up for this so called reception party which she had planned to runaway from. She was dressed in a purple saree with silver jewelry.
She comes down and sees Veer sitting on the sofa while 2-3 boys were present along with him.

Veer - Look there she is my wife, my life, my tormentor...

(He laughs and Bani understands that he was tipsy. Veer had drunk alot today to forget his miseries and to let his pain fase away.)

Bani - Veer.. What is going on?

Veer - Idhar aao.. Sweetheart..
Sweetheart ye hein Daksh, ponky aur Tapish bro.. Aur guys ye hein sweetheart.. (He says in a child like tone)

Bani - Veer you are drunk...

Veer - No I am not .. Aashiqon ko itni aasani se nasha kahan chad ta hein.. Kyun..?

Ponky - Arey Bilkul bhai!

Tapish - Dont mind him.. Aaj kuch zyada hi pili hein isne

Tapish seemed more sensible to Bani. He also looked slightly older than the other three.

Bani nods and starts leaving.

Veer - Kahan ja rahi ho sweetheart.. Abhi toh humara photograph bhi nahi hua hein..

Daksh- Haan bhai and humari bhabhiji aap dono ki ek picture main click karta hu

Veer- Haan haan kyun nahi!

(Bani glares at veer)

Veer- Picture ke liye log smile karte hein you know?

Bani- Ohh yeh toh badi nayi cheez batai.

Veer-Isiliye toh tum mujhe tabse ghoorti ja rahi ho. Haina?

Bani- You mean gusse se. Aur bata doon, log hasa tab karte hein jab picture dhangke logon ke saath li jaaye. Tum jaise...

Veer- Handsome bande ko dekh ke toh dil hi tham jata hein... pata hai.

Bani- Koi itna self obsessed kaise ho sakta hein!

Veer- Aur koi gusse mein bhi itna sundar kaise lag sakta hein...
(Bani looks at veer)

Bani - Veer you should really stop this party.. Tumne already pi li hein..

Veer - Abhi toh party shuru huyi hein sweetheart.. Tumhara proper introduction bhi nahi hua hein.. Aao idhar aao.. (He makes her sit on the sofa and gets up on the table at the centre of the living room)

Veer - So ladies and gentlemen... Meet the love of my life Mrs Bani Veer Singhania..

The guys hoot. All of them were quite drunk living Tapish who was a bit in control.

Veer - Aaj ki meri special performance sirf aur sirf sweetheart ke liye.. (He laughs)

Few dancers enter inside the mansion.

Bani - What is this?

Ponky -Bhabhi thoda entertainment toh banta tha aur akhir kar bhai ki Bachelorette bhi nhai ho  payi so banta hein..

Bani glares at Ponky and he stands beside Tapish getting scared.

Bani - Main yahan se ja rahi hu.. (She says making a disgusted face)

Veer - Ruko sweetheart.. Tumhara introduction bacha hein . .humari kahani bachi hein abhi batane ko..

Veer -  Dil Se Chahne Ki Mujhe

(He laughs and starts singing)

Veer says each line looking into her eyes. He was giving words to the mixed emotions which he was experiencing since the last 6 months.

The other guys we're dancing along with the dancers but Veer had only one partner for tonight and that was her eyes which he was looking at her ;trying to peep into her soul and the wine in his hand which was slowly and slowly taking his pain.

He moves towards her  and pulls her closer to him. He slowly tucks her hair strands behind her ears while looking at her with love, pain and anger filled inside him.

He wondered if his existence even ever mattered to her. If she felt even a bit of the torture which his soul had suffered. He wanted to punish but he couldn't see her pain, he wanted to reprimand her but her one drop of tear for him was a bane.

He turns her around and drops a kisses her cheek. Bani could feel his emotions. Veer was a culprit for her but now she was the one who had become a prisoner of love.

Bani removes her hand from his grip while Veer  feels heavy by the loss of her touch. She had now became his lifeline, someone who no mattered what happened he couldn't let go off.
She starts moving upstairs while Veer 's gaze was still fixed on her.

Bani goes inside her room and tries calming herself.

Bani - Bani you have to do this.. This is your last chance .. You can't sway in you emotions.

Veer continues having drinks while the others dance.

Bani was in her room when she saw one of the dancers going somewhere ,probably towards the washroom.

The dancer was going when she gets hit by something on her head and she falls.

Bani - So sorry but I didn't have a choice.

Bani comes out wearing the dancers costume with a piece of clothing covering her face. She had put the dancer on bed and appiled an ointment on her head.

She came out sneakily so that no one could get hold of her.

Veer on the other hand was thinking about all the betrayal which he faced in his lifetime. He hated betrayal since his father cheated on his mom . Her tears were the first thing which used to come in his mind as soon as he heard of the word betrayal. His second betrayal was by all those superficial friends which he had made previously. People who didn't care about him and just about his status.

The betrayal that lead to Arnav 's condition adding on to his list and now her betrayal, the only sunshine in his dark world had shaken him.
He leaves his glass and walks upwards to Bani's room.

Bani had come downstairs and that's when she sees Veer coming towards the stairs. She quickly gets inside the nearest room.

The room semed like a store room. It was filled with dust and spider webs. She hears the comotion outiside and decides to stay there for sometime.She was looking around when suddenly her eyes fell on something which was going to change many things.

Veer went upstairs but doesn't find her in her room. He becomes slightly tensed and looks at other places. He was tipsy but somehow even with his blury vision and tipsy behavior, he was looking for her all around.

He couldn't find her anywhere.

Veer - BANI!!! .. This is really not the time to play hide and seek.

Veer - Everyone bahar jakar check karo woh kaha gayi hein.. Cctv dekho... Track karo mujhe nahi pata.. Mujhe ek ghante ke andar andar woh ghar mein chahiye mere aakhon ke samne!!!!

Everybody leaves in a hurry. Veer goes and washes his face and comes down when he finds Bani coming out of the room.

Veer holds her hand and turns her around.

Veer - Kahaani Boori Nahi Thi Ishq Ki Mere,Bas Tere Jaise Kuchh Kirdaar
Dhokhebaaz Nikle (he slowly whispers)

Bani looks at him but this time her gaze was Different.

Veer - Kahan gayi thi..?

She doesn't answer.

Veer - I am asking you a question Dammitt!!! Kahan gayi thi? Dekho Bani jhuth mat bolna.. I know tum yahan se bhagne ki koshish kar rahi thi.. Ye kapde...

Bani - Tumne mujhse jhuth kyun bola?

Veer - Kya...?

Bani - Khushi jisse pyar karti thi woh tum nahi Arnav Bhai the....

(She says it like a statement and Veer is taken offguard)

Bani - Woh unki patni thi..? (She says showing the photograph which she had found in the storeroom)
