Bani - Aap thik hein? (She questions the person in front of her)

Arnav - Dur... Dur.. Rahoo.. Tumhe mujhe wapis ghar le jane ke liye bheja hein na. (He says hiding behind the park bench)

Bani - Dekhiye.. Main aapko ghar lejane nahi aayi.. Infact main toh (her eyes falls on the kids playing in the park).. Main toh aapko khelne ke liye puchne aayi thi par aab aapko nahi khelna toh its okay, I understand.

(Bani clearly understood Arnav's condition. She felt that his family members would be worried and she just wanted to help him out and keep him safe. )

Arnav - Sachi?

Bani - Muchi (she says and a smile forms on Arnav's face)

Arnav - Mujhe laga tumhe mere bhai ne bheja hein, ghar lejane... Isliye.. Waise i am Arnav.

Bani - I am Bani . So friends? (She says extending her hand)

Arnav -Friends (they both shake their hands)

Bani - Toh dost ek baat bataiye aap yaahan kar kya rahe hein, yun akele?

Arnav - Koi mujhse pyar nahi karta. (He says pouting in anger like a cute little child)

Bani - Arey par aesa toh ho hi nahi sakta, aap itne acche ho, aapse toh sab pyar karte honge..!

Arnav - Nahi mujhse koi pyar nahi karta. Ghar main sab apne kaam main busy rehte hein, mere sath koi khelta hi nahi.. Upar se mujhe bahar khelne bhi nahi dete...kabhi kabhi jab bahar jata hu toh friends banane ki koshish karta hu lekin mujhe dekh kar sab bhag jate hein..mujh bhi kuch galat hein kya..koi kami hein kya dost?(He asks sadly)

Bani felt very bad after hearing the stance of Arnav who was sharing his problems with her innocently. His innocent question was very tough to be answered.

Bani - Pata hein pehle na do kisaan(Farmer) the, ek kisan upjao zammeen(Fertile land) pe pani dala karta tha aur dusra insaan banjar zameen ( Barren land) par pani dala karta tha. Sabne uss dusre kisaan se kaha ki woh uss zameen ko chod de lekin ussne kaha ki woh ussi zameen par fasal (crops)ugayega.

Bohot Saal bit gaye lekin uski zameen par fasal nahi ugi lekin jo upjau zameen par fasal uga raha tha uski zameen toh faslon se bhar gayi.

Iska matlab samjhe?.. Zaruri nahi ki hum efforts dale aur humein woh mil jaye jo humein chahiye ya jo hum pana chahte hein. Dusre kisaan ne salon mehnat ki lekin phir bhi woh nakamyab raha kyunki woh galat jagah efforts dal raha tha.

Similarly, hum log bhi kayi baar rishte banane ki koshish karte hein, efforts dalte hein par woh rishte tik nahi pate. Iska matlab ye nahi ki hum galat hein, iska matlab toh bas yeh hein ki hum apni mehnat ek banjar zameen par dal rahe hein.

Dost aap mein koi kami nahi hein aur na hi kuch galat hein. Dekhiye agar hum kisi se pyar karte ya kisi se dosti karna chahte hein toh humare hath main bas efforts dalna hein. Jo aap dalte hein....koshish karte hein...Kyun hein na? Toh bas humara kaam wohi khatam hogaya. Aage woh sath nibhate toh bhi thik aur na nibhaye toh samjh lijiye ki..

Arnav - Woh humari life ki ek banjar zameen hein. (He says excitedly)

Bani- Haan (she smiles) . .. Aur raha sawal aapke gharwalon ka toh woh aapse bohot pyar karte hei, isiliye aap par zyada dhyan dete hein. Woh busy rehte hein.. Aapne kaha.. Par ek baat bataiaye...kya woh aapke liye samay naii nikalte?

Arnav - Mera bhai nikalta hei, jab bhi uske pass time ho. Main jo mangta hu woh deta hein, mere liye toys lata hein, mujhe tasty tasty kha na khilta hein..

Bani - Aur ye sab woh kyun karte hein?.. Kyunki woh aapse dher sara pyar karte hein.Aur raha sawal friend's ka toh aaj se main toh hu hi aapki Dost!

Arnav - Nahi tum dost nahi ho...

Bani - Matlab..

Arnav - Matlab ki tum toh Angel ho.. Jisne jadu ki chari ghumai aur sab thik kar diya, sari tension khatam kar di.

Bani smiles

Bani - Toh chale khelne?

Arnav - Par woh mere sath kyun khelenge? (He says sadly)

Bani - Abhi kya kaha maine dost ki try karna humara kaam.. So chale?

Arnav - Chalo.

Bani texts Mahir that she would like to stay for a bit longer in the garden . Mahir agrees to her request and tells her that he would pick her up in an hour or so.

Veer reached Singhania Mansion along with Bela. A lot of emotions was stirring up in his heart and mind. One of the emotions was that of an attraction, which Veer knew very well but didn't dare to admit it and the other was of guilt.He immediately wanted to spend some time with Arnav to soothe his mind and calm himself down.

Veer enters Arnav's room but doesn't find him there.

Veer - Bhai! Aap kahan ho?

Nobody answers

Veer - Bhai dekhiye agar aap mere saath hide and seek khel rahe hein toh I promise ki hum baad main khelenge.. Abhi aap bahar nikal kar aaiye.

The room was still filled with silence.

Veer - Pankaj!!! (He is Arnav's caretaker)

Veer - PANKAJ!!!

Pankaj - Ye.. Yes sir.. ? (He asks in a feeble voice)

Veer - Bhai kahan hein!???

Pankaj - Sir woh.. Arnav sir toh yehi baithkar drawing kar rahe the.

Veer - Maine Ye nahi pucha ki woh kahan the aur kya kar rahe the.. Mera sawal ye hein ki woh abhi, iss waqt kahan hein??

Pankaj - Sir... Woh mujhe.. Woh Call..

Veer - TUMHE PAISE CALL PE BAAT KARNE KE LIYE MILTE HEIN!?

Pankaj - Sor.. Sorry Sir.

Veer - You are fired Pankaj and yaad rakhna agar bhai ko ek kharoch bhi aayi toh mujhse Bura aur koi nahi hoga.

Pankaj - Sir..

Veer - GET OUT BEFORE I PUT ALL THESE BULLETS IN YOUR HEAD !

Pankaj immediately leaves. Veer holds his head in frustration. He was very worried not just because of Arnav 's condition but because his enemies were lurking everywhere .

Veer- Tracker... Yes Bhai ke watch ka tracker.

Veer reaches on the location which Vivaan had shared with him by looking into the tracker.He moves inside the garden and sees Arnav playing with Kids. Veer sighs in relief. That's when his eyes lands on her. His Angel with a tint of fire in her eyes.

Veer looks at Bani playing with Arnav and the kids blindfolded. The smile on her face while playing with the kids, her locks flowing with the wind. Everything was drawing him towards her. For him love and feelings were a curse, it was a flame which could only burn souls and scar hearts but right now he was ready to burn in these feelings that were developing within him for her, he was ready to scar his heart if that was the cost to see the smile on her face.

Dimaag baar baar Veer ko rok zarur raha tha par dil ke samne kisi bhi aur cheez ka chal na bohot mushkil hein, ya yun kahu ki namumkeen hein. Veer samajh bhi nahi paya ki kab uske kadam Bani ki aur bhad jate hein.

As veer moves towards her , a kid comes and hides behind Veer calling out Bani's name.

Kid - Didi, pakadiye mujhe (the child says and giggles hiding behind Veer)

Bani moves towards Veer and ends up holding him in her arms. She instantly realises that it wasn't one of the kids and unties her blindfold. As she looks up, a gasp escapes her mouth.

Bani-Veer...

(Veer hears his name from her mouth and his heart gets filled with an unknown emotion. Bani on the other hand takes a step backward, hoping that he didn't hear her calling out his name)

Bani -Tum... Tum wapis...?

Veer - Ruko jisse pehele tum wapis mujhe...

Bani - Abb kya tum bachon ko bhi jail bhejwane aaye ho matlab logon ki hobby painting, singing ye sab toh suna tha pehela insaan mila hein jisse logon ko Jail bhejna bada pasand hein.

Arnav - Angel, mujhe isse bachao.. (He says hiding behind Bani)

Veer- Arnav Bh..

Bani - Dur raho tum... Kya hua dost?.. Aap dar kyun rahe hein.. Chinta mat kariye main hu na.. Mere hote huye aapko kuch nahi hoga..!

Veer - Dekho main..

Bani - Nahi dekho kya.. Main tumhe bol rahi hu ..

(Veer was confused Arnav was calling her Angel and Bani was calling him Dost, when did they meet? Arnav was not at all open with anybody but with Bani he was very carefree . Somewhere an internal smile formed within Veer. Also he didn't want to argue with her further because he was guilty and Bela 's had asked him to apologize. Though that was still a tough task for Veer or as Bani calls him Mr Arrogant Singhania.)

Veer - Main Apne bhai ko lene aaya hu..

Bani - Bhai ko lene aaye ho toh kya hua... Ek minute BHAI!?

Veer - Yeah B-H-A-I Bhai!! Abb mai unhe le jau ya interrogation abhi baki hein Ms sharma?

Arnav - Main tere saath nahi jaunga.. Mujhe aur khelna hein.(he says feigning in anger)

Veer - Bhai dekhiye sab pehele se pareshan hein aur abb aap..

Bani - Rehene dijiye unhe Mr singhania...

Veer - Dekho mujhe pata hein Mere bhai ke liye kya galat hei aur kya sahi, main unsein pyar aur unki bohot parwah karta hu . Unka khayal rakhna acchi tarah se janta hu.

Bani - Isiliye Woh ghar se bhag gaye?

Veer was trying his level best to control his anger, her statement triggered him but what she said next calmed him down too.

Bani - Dekhiye Mr singhania, main aapko taunt nahi mar rahi hu bas itna samjhana chha rahi hu ki pyar main logon ko bandha nahi jata. Aap unki parwah karte hein isiliye un par rok tok lagate hein ,par agar aapka pyar kisi aur ko kaid lage toh kya faida?.. Agar aap wakai main unki parwah karte hein toh unhein bado jaisa banane ke wajaye kabhi kabhi unke sath bacha ban kar dekhiye, aur yakeen kariye mera ki unhein bohot khushi hogi... Aage aapko jaise Mr singhania..

Veer - Veer..

Bani - What..?

Veer - You can call me Veer aur aese Aap and all bolne ki zarurat nahi hein, tumhare muh se tum hi better lagta hein... Woh bhi gusse mein. (He almost chuckles at the end)

Bani- Par mai kaise.. Woh. (Veer statement takes Bani offguard)

Veer - Kyu kuch der pehele toh bulaya tha tumne (he says with a smirk)

Bani (in mind) - Ohh shit, he heard it.

Veer- Yes, I did.

Bani (in mind) - Woah.. Is he even a mind reader or what?

Veer - No ,I am not but your thoughts are way too obvious.

Bani (in mind) - How is it possible? I seriously want to punch his handsome face right now.
Wait... What did I just call him?...handsome?

Veer - Can't deny the truth you see!

Bani - STOP IT! (She says loudly being embarrassed and gaining everybody's attention)

Veer - Stop what? (He says innocently)

Kid - Kya hua didi?

Bani - Ku.. Kuch nahi.

Veer - Waise just between you and me.. You said the last line aloud. (He chuckles and moves towards Arnav)

Bani - YOU... YOUU!??? Aahhh.. Embarrassment at its peak. (She says Facepalming )

Arnav - Tu mujhe ghar toh nahi le jayega na?

Veer - Nahi Bhai, in fact main soch raha tha kyun na aaj aap mere sath bhi khele.. Kyun?

Arnav - Tu mere sath khelega... Woowow(he says clapping his hands).. Angel lagta hein tumne koi jadu kar diya sach mein, warna mera devil bhai khelne ke liye man gaya.

Bani chuckles.

Veer ( in mind) - She is indeed an Angel .

Arnav - Veer...

Veer (in mind)- What are you doing sweetheart?.. The warmth of your mere smile is melting my heart which was frozen since a long time.

Arnav - VEER!!

Veer - Haan, Haan Bhai ..kya hua..?

Arnav - Kahan khoya hua hein, kabse bula raha hu tujhe..!

Veer - Nahi main bas.. Woh.. Accha woh sab chodiye, toh aaj hum kya khelne wale hein ?

Kid - Movie Movie khele!

Veer- Movie.. Movie(he mutters contemplating what it was, bani sees him all confused and she chuckles)

Kid- Haan matlab humein se ek Hero banega aur ek Heroine. Simple.

Arnav -Yayy.. Mujhe bhi khelna hein. Veer Tu bhi khelega na?

Veer nods

Kid -Okay toh Heroine toh Bani didi hi banegi.. Aur kadus bhaiya aap...

Veer -Khadus bhaiya..?

Kid - Haan aap itna kaam smile karte toh dekh kar wohi lagta hein ki ekdum khadus aur akdu hoge aap.

Veer - Ek minute mai koi khadus .. Akdu nahi hu. Don't call me that !

Kid - Okay Khadus bhaiya !

Veer - Tum...!

Kid - Dekha ek dum khadus.

Veer - Kin pagalon ke bich phas gaya.

Bani was chuckling looking at the cute banter between the kid and Veer. Who would say that the guy bantering with a kid like a child was Mafialord Veer singhania. She was not able to comprehend who Real Veer Singhania was.

Kid -Accha Bhaiya, toh main kya keh raha tha.. Ki aap Hero ban jao..

Bani (whispering) -Villain ko kaha Hero banaya ja raha hein.

Veer hears her muttering.

Veer -Main Villain hi theek hu. (He says looking at Bani with a short smile)

Arnav - Mere pass ek best idea hein!.. Hum Tug of war Khelte hein! Kyun Angel?

Bani - Haan Haan kyu nahi! (She says with a smile)

Arnav - Okay toh done... Main aur mere friends ek team mei aur tum aur Angel ek team mein.

Veer - Par Bhai..2 vs 10 .. Ye kya baat huyi?

Kid - Oofo bhaiya par aap dono bade bhi toh ho..aaj kal ke bade kuch samjhte hi nahi..

Bani laughs uncontrollably. The kid's continuous ranting and veer trying to maintain his composure was an adorable sight. Veer on the other hand looks at her laughing. Her laugh was like music to his ears. He just wanted this moment to pause.

Bani - Start kare (she says with a smile)

Veer nods. The game begins and each of the two teams starts pulling at the opposite ends of the rope trying to get the other team over the central line. Veer and Bani were at one side where as Arnav and the other kids were at another. It was a tough call. Both the teams were locking horns vigorously.

Bani thinks about tightening the grip on the rope by holding Veer from back ,she was contemplating whether to hold him or not but finally when she sees the other team overpowering them she holds him.

Veer was surprised. Her touch, her grip on him was euphoric for him. He doesn't even realise when he leaves his hold on the rope making all the kids and Arnav fall.

Bani - Hawww(bani says holding her mouth)

Veer turns and notices what he had done.

Veer - Bhai wohh..

Arnav - Kya Veer giraya diya humein!!

Veer internally facepalms himself.

Veer (in mind) - Veer Tu kya kar raha hein!!!

Kid - Okay, toh abb ek final game. Seven stones!!

DONE!!! (All the kids say in unison)

Kid - Aur Haan Khadus bhaiya, iss bar aap mere team main rahenge.. Aapko bohot training ki zarurat hein.

Veer - Sure sir (he says rolling his eyes)

They start playing seven stones. It was Bani's team who were supposed to place the stones and Veer's team had to hit the players of the opposite team with the ball in order to out them.
The games starts and thai time Veer outs all the players of Bani's team alone.

Veer - Huh.. I know I am the best! (He says proudly)

Bani - Abhi main bachi hui hu tumhari iss galatfahami ko dur karne . (She says giving a fake smile)

Veer - Let's see!

The match again resumes. Bani starts collecting the last stone and the ball comes in Veer 's hand but he doesn't hit her.

Veer (in mind) - She looks so beautiful smiling... How can I hit her?

Arnav - Veer Mar!!!

Veer was still lost in his gala land.

Arnav - Veer!!!!!

Bani by that time had already put the stones and her team had won.

Bani gives a Victorious smile to Veer.

Kid - Bhaiya aapne phir hara diyaaaa... Iss baar toh saza banti hein

Veer (he says looking at Bani jumping with happiness) - Main har kar bhi jeet gaya (he whispers)

Kid - Suna BHAIYAA! Saza milegi aapko.

Arnav - Bilkul

Veer - Matlab... (Veer says trying to comprehend the evil planning going on these not so innocent kids mind's)

After few minutes

Veer - Bhai..You guys stop
(It was all the kids and Arnav hitting veer with the ball)

Bani - Accha Accha abb chod do Veer ko aur waise bhi boring logon ka jeetna thoda mushkil ho hi jata hein, toh thoda taras khalo.

Veer - Excuse me Ms Bani sharma, thode se samay main aapne kuch zyada hi nahi padh liya mujhe... And boring woh bhi main. .Veer Singhania .. No way..

Bani - Itni galatfahami mat pala kijiye Mr Singhania.

As they were still bantering the clouds darken and it starts raining. Veer runs to the shade along with the kids trying to cover his head with his hands but Bani was smiling, standing in the rain...drenched. She shut her eyes, enjoying the moment. Veer saw her and walked up to her, looking at her smiling face. Her carefree nature, her innocence was drawing him towards her with every passing second.

Kids:
Chak dhoom dhoom, chak dhoom dhoom
Chak dum dum, chak dum dum
Ghode jaisi chaal hathi jaisi dum
O savan raja, kahan se aaye tum

The kids also look at the duo and start getting drenched in the rain while singing and dancing .Bani also join them with a beautiful smile on her face.

Veer - Bani kya kar rahi ho.. Andar chalo.. Ye kya bachon jaisi harqat hei. .sardi lag jayege.

Bani - Veer you know what, woh bache na tumhe bilkul sahi bulate hein.. khadus..

Veer - Abb chalogi..

Bani - Nahi.. (She laughs and runs splashing some raindrops on him)

Veer-
Hey koi ladki hai jab woh hansti hai
Baarish hoti hai

Bani suddenly halts hearing his voice. Yes, it was him dancing and singing in the rain. He had taken his blazer off and was now in his white shirt that was stuck to his body. His abbs were on display, his hair was messy, and his face had an unseen expression of pure bliss, adding on to his handsomeness, his attractiveness.

She turns. Veer looks into her eyes and sings, admiring her smile and letting his guard down.

Bani:
Hey koi ladka hai, jab woh gata hai
Savan aata hai, ghumad ghumad ghum ghum
Chak dhoom dhoom, chak dhoom dhoom
Chak dum dum, chak dum dum

Bani also joins them. She was surprised by this new side of Veer. His smile. She just couldn't get over it. She didn't know what it was, was it his voice, his smile or something else that kept pulling her towards him.

Veer:

Raste ruke ruke se hain

Bani:
Kya teri marzi hai megha
Ghar humko jaane na dega
Aage hai barsat, peechhe hai toofan

Bani starts to leave but Veer holds her hand, stopping her in her way. He pulls her closer, their eyes lock. He twirls her. They both start laughing, enjoying the rain and the song, and continue dancing.

Veer:
Ambar jhuka jhuka sa hai
Sab kuchh ruka ruka sa hai

Bani:
Chhaya samaa kitna pyara
Savan ka samjho ishara
Aise mausam mein tum bhi kuchh kaho
Tum bhi kuchh karo khade ho kyon gumsum

Chak dum dum, chak dum dum

Veer even pulls Arnav outside and all of them dance together

They all jump together as the rain stops. The kids start laughing out of sheer happiness and Bani smiles looking at them. Suddenly, her phone rings. She goes in the shade, towards her bag and picks up the call. It was Mahir.

On call

Bani- Hello Bhai!

Mahir-Haan Bani, main bas pohouch gaya, mausam achanak se pata nahi aese kaise bigad gaya.Tu thik toh hein na...?

Bani -Haan Bhai, aur dekhiye barish bhi ruk hi gayi hein.. Main entrance ke pass aati hu.

Mahir- Thik hein

Call disconnects

Bani returns and sees all the kids kissing Veer's cheeks. She smiles looking at them.

Bani - Ye toh cheating hein.. Itna sara pyar bas tumhare khadus bhaiya ke liye aur mere liye...

Kid - Arey didi koi baat nahi, hum sabki taraf se khadus bhaiya aapko kissi de denge. Bye didi!

Bani and Veer look at each other flabbergasted.

Bani - Aaj kal ke bache bhi na.

Veer - (whispering) Kafi samajhdar hogaye hein.

Bani -Kuch kaha tumne?

Veer - Nahi.. Nahi.

Arnav -Tum ja rahi ho Angel..? Mat jao. (He says with dote eyes)

Bani -Dost abhi Angel ko jana padega. Hum baad main kabhi milenge. .. Main chalti hu (she says looking at Veer)

Bani starts leaving. Veer just keeps looking at her, leaving.

Woh aakhon se jitna dur ja rahi thi, veer ko apne dil ke andar utna hi khalipan mehsus ho raha tha. Woh bas usse apne bahon mein kaid kar lena chahta tha.. Par usse aaj hi kisi ne sikhaya tha ki mohhabat main kaid nahi aazad kiya jata hein.

Veer was lost in his thoughts when his eyes suddenly fall on Bani's office id. She had dropped it while leaving. He picks it up and runs to give it to her.

Veer - Bani!!!

Bani - Veer tum..

Veer - Woh tumhara id..

Bani - Umm.. Thank you..

Veer - You don't have to... In fact I wanted to tell you something...

Bani - Bolo..

Veer- Woh, for that day, it was a misunderstanding, ek galatfahami thi jo nahi honi chahiye par hogayi and you know what I am trying to say right..?

Bani- Yeah, I have completely understood what you are trying to say...

Veer -Yeah.. (He sighs)

Bani -You are trying to apologize...unsuccessfully.(she says air quoting )

Veer - I can.. Okay!

Bani - You can't

Veer - I can

Bani - You can't

Veer - I (veer moves closer to her and kisses her on her cheeks).. Can. (He says and leaves.)

Bani was standing still, holding her cheek. That's when Mahir enters.

Mahir - Kya hua Bani.. Gaal pakad kar kyun khadi hein?

Bani- Wo.. Wohh... Machar.

Mahir - Machar.. ?

Bani - Haan ye Mumbai ke Machar.

Mahir - Aur tera chehra itna laal kyun hein?

Bani - Mausam... Haa.. Mausam!

Mahir - Machar aur mausam...

Bani - Accha bhai aap chaliye na.. Kitne savaal pocchte hai! Chailye.

They leave.

Next day
Bani was dressed up in a black top with cream denims. Her hair was left open, adding on to her natural beauty. This particular day was going to be her first day at work. She was excited and slightly nervous about how things would go. Yesterday was pretty eventful for her and she wanted things to continue that way.

She didn't want to think about anything else... but again sometimes, we really don't have control over our thoughts ,sometimes our own heart ditches us. Her thoughts went lingering over and over to that person whose mere name meant trouble.

She always considered herself as somebody who was very good at reading people but he, he was the only one she couldn't decipher. She had seen two sides of him on the same day. One side which had a powerful aura, cold eyes, an intimidating and arrogant look but the other side... it was the complete opposite of what she had witnessed earlier. His smile when he played with the kids came to her mind and she didn't realise when one formed on her face as well.
Her eyes suddenly fall on the mirror and she looks at herself, smiling.

Bani - Main baar baar Mr Singhania ke barein main kyu soch rahi hu.. Like seriously Bani, what is wrong with you?

Mahir- Kya hogaya meri behena ko?

Bani - Are... Woh kuch nahi bhai... Bas aaj ki tension...

Mahir- Tujhe pehele bhi bola tha.. Abhi bol raha hu..you will do great. Samjhi?

Bani smiles and nods

Mahir - Chal main tujhe office chod deta hun.

Mahir drops Bani at her office and leaves. Bani enters the office premises. She goes and settles on her working desk .

Marketing head- Attention, everybody. I welcome all the new recruits and specially our new digital Marketing head, Ms Bani Sharma. So, I would like to inform you guys that our Boss has changed, well technically he was always our Boss because he was and is our highest shareholder to this day.
