Veer confesses the truth. The thought of his angel calmed him down. Her mere thought was enough to augment the serene and seldom feeling in his heart. He didn't even realise how day by day she starting becoming a very precious person for him. Somebody who he wanted to cherish and spend time with.
Bani halted after hearing his words. His words filled her chest with a warm and special feeling. His presence always swayed her emotions.

Bani - Veer... (She was speechless)

Veer - Umm.. Humein chalna chhaiye Bani... Bohot der bhi hogayi hein.

Bani - Haa.. (She says averting her gaze and giving a feeble smile)

They both keep walking towards the mansion. They both were silent but their minds were vocalizing their thoughts.

Veer (in mind) - Tum mere dil main unn Jazzbaton ko jaga rahi ho jisse mehsus karne ki mujhe izzazat nahi. Tum mere liye itni khaas hogayi ho ki abb mujhe darr lagne hein. Darr.. Iss lafz se maine nata ussi din tod diya tha jis din maine humare kaam ko sambhalna shuru kiya tha.. Kabhi maut tak se dar nahi laga par abb.. Abb ye soch kar bhi dar lagta hein ki main tumhe kho dunga.. Jis din tum meri duniya ko dekhogi kya tum tabhi ye anjaan rishta nibhaogi..?

Bani (in mind) - Ye anjaan rishta.. Main nahi janti ye kya hein.. Mai iss jazzbat ko kya naam du.. Par ismein ek ajeeb sa sukoon hein.. Shuruaat main maine kabhi socha bhi nahi tha ki Veer mere zehen main ek jagah bana lega par abb.. Abb uska saath accha lagne laga hein.. Par aaj bhi Veer mere liye ek paheli.. Jisse jitna suljha rahi hu, main usmein utna hi ulajhte ja rahi hein, usmein khoti ja rahi hu.. Jab ki main janti hu ki humari Zindagi mai zameen aur aasman ka farak hei.. Tum aakhir kya ho Veer..?
They finally enter inside the mansion and Veer goes towards the Kitchen.

Bani - Kahan ja rahe ho veer..?

Veer - Inn sab cheezon ke chakar mein tumne toh kuch dhang se khaya hi nahi.. So..

Bani couldn't believe this guy in front of her. He almost had a terrible allergic reaction because of her and here he was worried about her . She was feeling both the emotions of guilt and gratification.

Bani - Veer.. Seriously.. You are making me feel even more guiltier.. Ek toh pehele hi meri wajah se tumhe allergy hogayi and I am so sorry for that aur upar se tum..

Veer - Shh.. (he says putting his index fingers on her lips)

Veer - You don't have to apologize.. Tumhari koi galati nahi hein.. And it wasn't my intention to make you feel guilty, I just...

Bani - I know.. (She says giving him a reassuring smile)

(Pata hein sabse zyada khubsurat ehsaas kab hota hein.. Woh lamha jab aap ke Jazzbaton ko bina alfaazon ke koi padhle aur samjhle . Aapko aapse zyada janne lage.. Kuch aesa hi ehsaas inn do dilon ko mehsus ho raha tha aur woh kareeb aate ja rahe the.)

Bani - Par tumhari tabiyat..

Veer - Bani I have seen worse than this and tumne dawai dina.. I am alright.. Waise bhi jane se pehele tumne badi acche tarah se Get well soon bola tha.. (He says smirking and hinting towards the forehead kiss)

Bani- Wo.. Woh toh bas.. (She realises that he wasnt asleep completely at that moment)

Veer - Haa haa bolo sun raha hu.. (He says teasing her further)

Bani - Tum jao rest karo. Main kuch bankar lati hu..

Veer - Baat palat rahi ho.. Okay.. Aaj kal ke log matlab dusro ka najane kaise kaise faida uthate rehte hein .. (He says sighing)

Bani - Veer!!

Veer - What? (He says innocently)

Bani - I did that because I just needed you to..

Veer - You needed me... ? (He says smirking)

Bani - I needed you to GET WELL(she says emphasizing on the get well).. because you are the one..

Veer - I am the ONE! (he says winking)

Bani - You were the one who had such an allergic reaction! (She says controlling the redness spreading over her face and acting irritated)

Veer - You look adorable when you are flustered!

Bani - I am not flustered(She says averting her gaze and controlling her blush)

Veer - And now you are blushing (he says teasing her even more, now her face was as red as a tomato)

Bani- Veer abb khana banaye ya tumhara baton se pet bharne ka irrada hein..!? (She says trying to change the topic)

Veer - Okay madam (he says with a smile)

Veer- Chalo ab ye batao kya khaaogi?

Bani- Tum bana paoge? ( a questioning look on her face)

Veer- Mere abilities par shak kar rahi ho sweetheart? Dekh lena aesa khana banauga ki ugliyan chat ti reh jaogi tum!

Bani- Dekhte hein! (she chuckles)

Veer ties the apron and starts preparing some pancakes for her. Bani looks at him cooking and thinks about how lucky she got (Author- I mean who doesn't want a guy who cooks well)

(Veer prepares the batter and Bani tries helping him mixing it.)

Veer- Aese nahi Sweetheart...

Veer stands behind her and holds her hand. He whisks the batter rapidly.

Veer- Dheere karogi toh mixture ki consistency kharab ho jayegi. (He whispers in her ear. Bani tilts her head a little and looks at Veer. Veer continues explaining the recipe to her. Though, she was lost in admiring him.)

Veer- Toh main isse apni tareef samjhu?

Bani- Kaisi tareef?

Veer-Yehi ki tum pancakes ke bajaaye mujhme khoyi hui ho. (He giggles)

Bani-Aesa kuch nahi...(she blushes)

(Veer and Bani continue cooking. Veer rubs a little baking powder on her nose. She smiles and puts some on his cheek. Both of them continue their cute banter. Finally, the pancakes are ready...)

Veer-Taste test madam? (he says in a sophisticated style)

Bani-(smiles) Mmmmm...Veer...this is so tasty! (she says taking a bite in) Jee karta hein tumhare haath chum lu!

Veer- Sachi? (He says teasing her)

Bani- Veer...Tum bhi na! (she hits his shoulder lightly and blushes)

Veer- (takes a bite) Bani, par mujhe toh ye thoda kam meetha lag raha hein...

Bani- (she takes the fork from his hand and takes a bite) Mujhe toh accha hi lag raha hein.

Veer-(taking it back from her)Yummm... Abb aayi na ismein mithas!

Bani (turning red) - Tum na pagal hoooo! (She says and moves towards the hall)

Veer also moves towards the dinning table in the hall. Both Veer and Bani sit side by side and have the pancakes. It was a very warm feeling and a moment of affinity. As they eat some chocolate syrup gets smudged on Bani's lip.

Veer - Tumne apne bhai ko bata diya na..

Bani - Haa I have texted Mahir bhai and waise bhi aaj toh Mahir bhai aur Bela ke apne bohot plans the..

Veer - I know.. but remember if your brother ever hurts her I won't spare him.. (He says with his overprotective brother attitude )

Bani chuckles

Veer - Kya..?

Bani - Kuch nahi..!

Veer - Abb bolo bhi

Bani - Tumhara ye protective brother wala side is really cute (she continues laughing)

Veer - I am not cute and stop laughing for God's sake.

(She still keeps laughing. He pulls her towards him with a sudden jerk and both of them fall on the sofa losing their balance.)

Veer - Woh.. Wahaan(he says pointing towards her lips)

Bani - Kyaa..? (She says moving her finger slightly near her lips)

Veer - Wait a second..

(He wipes off the chocolate from her lips and Bani felt tremolous.His fingers slightly lingers over her lips for a longer time while his gaze still fixed upon her.Both of their hearts were beating fastly but suddenly Veer 's takes a step back realising how he was once again thinking about crossing his boundaries. Bani comes out of the moment as Veer suddenly gets up )

Bani - Ky.. Kya hua veer?

Veer - Umm.. Woh.. Late bohot hogaya hein, I think we should sleep now..

Bani - Yeah..

Meanwhile Bela had gone to Mahir's house for their first date. She was dressed in a blue dress, looking like a princess. She knocks on the door but finds it open. She enters inside the house.

Bela - Mahirji.. (She says in a low tone)
A she enters somebody blindfolds her from the back. She touches the blindfold.

Mahir - Main hu.. (He whispers slowly in her ears, she could feel his breath on the crook of her neck).

Bela - Mahirji ye..

Mahir - Tumhare liye ek chota sa surprise hein Bela... (Extending his hand) .. Chale (he says while admiring her beauty)

Bela gives her hand in his hand and nods. They climb the steps and Bela could make it out that he was taking her to the terrace. Mahir slowly opens her blindfold.

A smile spread on Bela's face as she sees the view in front of her.She was deeply touched by the efforts put by Mahir. Her eyes sparkling in awe of this sweet gesture that Mahir had presented.

Bela - This is so beautiful..

Mahir - Not more than you.. (He says and Bela blushes)

Bela-Aapko ye sab karni ki kya zaroorat thi..

Mahir - Zarurat nahi.. Meri khudki chahat thi Bela.. Aur waise bhi it's just a try.. I mean I am really not that great in dates and stuff (he says rubbing the back of his head, sheepishly)

Bela - No it's just Perfect Mahirji.. Beautiful and its radiating such a homely vibe . (She says with a smile)

And that's when she finally notices him. Coincidentally he was also wearing a blue shirt with white bottom. Today was the first time he had taken a whole hour to get ready for this day, and it was seen in the way he looked. He wanted everything to be perfect on this day. His hair set in a neat way. His appearance looked like that of a model who was straight out of a formal shoot. He was both excited and nervous.He extends his hand as the music plays.

(Mahir looks at Bela and pulls her closer giving her a warm smile, melting her heart. He twirls her and their hands fit into each other's)

Mahir - I look beautiful.. (He says arching an eyebrow and teasing her)

Bela - You look handsome Mahirji and stop teasing me. (She says and he chuckles)

(Bela turns towards the other side. Mahir holds her waist while her breath becomes uneven. They keep grooving with the music. He kisses her on her back. Bela tries moving away but Mahir holds her hand. Her cheeks were red and he smiles looking at her shyly. )

He then bends on his knees amd takes out a rose from his pocket.

Mahirji - I LOVE YOU BELA! Tumse milne se pehele main nahi janta tha ki mohhabat kya hoti hein, ye ehsaas kya hote hein. Aese ehsaas jo aapko khud se jor de, aapko zindagi kaatna nahi balki jeena sikha de. Aesa ehssas jismein kisiki muskurahat dekh kar, jaanat kya hota hein iska ehsaas hojaye, kisike dard ko dekh, rooh aapki kaap jaye. Janta hu humein mila bas kuch hi waqt hua hein par iss kuch hi waqt main tum meri zindagi ban gayi ho Bela. Aur main ye puri zindagi tumhare sath bitana chahta hu. Puri zindagi tumhara sath chahta hu.Kya tum iss thode se boring insaan ko apni zindagi main jagah dogi? (He says with a smile)

Bela looks at Mahir, overwhelmed by his confession. Her eyes had happy tears in it.

Bela - Yes Mahirji! Yes. I Love YOU MAHIRJI.. I love you so much. (She says bending to his level while taking the rose and holding his hand).. Aap nahi janti ki main kitni khush hu..main puri umar iss lamhe main jeeno ko tayar hu.Aapki sadgi, aapki batein aur aapki muskurahat inn sabse mujhe kab mohhabat hogayi pata hi nahi chala. (She says cupping his face).. And one more thing..

Mahir - What..? (He says softly)

Bela - Dont you dare call my boyfriend boring. Samjhe Mr Sehgal?

Mahir - Yes madam!

(She says and they both laugh)

Next day

Today was the Diwali party and Bani was getting ready for it. Yesterday she felt a different kind of emotion within her after hearing Veer's words. They didn't speak throughout the journey but sometimes silence speaks more than words.

Bani wore a gold shimmery saare with a brown velvet blouse. The colors of her outfit compliment her light skin tone. Her curled hair spread around her shoulders.

Thats when the door bell rings and Bani checks herself in the mirror for one last time as she knew who it would be.

She comes out and looks at Mahir who was also ready in a black suit.
They open the door and they admire their respective partners.

Bani looks at Veer who was dressed in a black suit covered in sequins. Looking more dashing than ever, capable of making all the heads turn as he walks in.

Mahir also looks at Bela who was dressed in a green saree, looking absolutely breathtaking.

Mahir - I feel really lucky today.. (He says while the trio looks at him).. After all both of lady loves are looking so gorgeous today. (He says with a smile holding both Bani and Bela's hand)

Bani -Aww.. Bhaii. (She says hugging him)

Bela just keeps looking at him with her doe eyes. Love and admiration were clearly visible in her orbs. They then exchange greetings wishing each other a very Happy Diwali, without Veer sparing a single glance towards Bani.

Veer - Abb chale.. Arnav Bhai wait kar rahe hein..

Bani - Dost bhi aaye hein? (She says with an excited smile on her face)

Veer - Hmm..

(He says not making an eye contact with her. Bani felt a little awkward. In normal circumstances he would have definable showered her with compliments or given her a flirty smile but today he was avoiding even an eye contact with her. Was he avoiding her?.. No but why would he? This was the only question lingering in her mind. Bela also noticed Veer's awkward behaviour.They later walk towards the car. )

Arnav - Angelll (he says in a jovial tone just like a little child)

Bani - Dost kaise ho aap?

Arnav - Accha.. (Stretching his hand).. Nahi itna accha.. (Stretching even more) Actually itna itna accha.. Abb tum jo meri friend ho.

Bela - Accha Arnav aur mera kya .. Mai bhi toh tumhari bestie hu.

Arnav (whispering in Bani's ear though he was clearly audible) - Ekdum khadus hein ye.. Dar ke mare bestie bolna padta hein..

Bani and Mahir chuckle while Veer also smiles slightly.

Bela - Arnav ke bacheee..!

Veer - Accha accha okay shant ho jao .. Late ho raha hein...Toh Chale ...

Bani - Mr Punctual..! (She says softly but Veer doesn't react.)

Bela - Accha Arnav, main tum aur Mahirji ek car main chalte hein.. Tumhe inse bhi toh milna hein aur Veer Bani ek Car main chale jayenge. (She says trying to give these two some privacy. Veer was about to say something,probably a denial but Arnav says something.)

Arnav - Par Angel (he says making doe eyes)

Bela - Ye tumhare Angel ke bhai hein.. Abhi nahi milna..? .

Arnav - Accha okay (he says with a smile).. Lekin Angel tumhe kal mere ghar aana hoka.. Hum wahan khelenge.. Okay..?

Veer - Par bhai...

Bani - Yeah sure (Veer and Bani say it together, making the situation a little awkward)

Bela - Okay okay alright.. Its done.. Bani you are coming tomorrow! (She says saving the situation)

Veer and Bani enter inside the car.

Bela - Chale..(she says looking at Mahir)

Mahir - Chalo..(he says kissing her cheek and making her blush)

Both Bani and Veer were awfully silent in the car. Bani was wondering what went wrong, did she do something wrong. Since last night she felt something was off with him.

Bani - Veer woh office ke kaam.. (She says trying to break the ice)

Veer - You don't have to.. I am leaving the office.. You can do your job peacefully and Bhai se tum jab bhi chaho mil sakti ho. (He says still not looking towards her)
Bani was a bit worried now.

Bani - Did I do something wrong?

Veer - This is what you always wanted right?.. Toh ismein sahi aur galat ki baat kahan se aayi.

(He says and she goes silent. She wanted to tell him that it was all before, before she got to know him but she couldn't utter a word ,maybe cause she was hurt . She felt that this unnamed bond was built from both the sides but she was wrong.This is what she was thinking. They reach at Manyata's house and both of them get down)

All the five of them enter.

Manyata - Mere pyare bache..(she says with a very big smile)

Arnav - Manyata Maasi (he goes and hugs her)

Bela also hugs her.

Vivaan - What about me..? (He says looking at Manyata. Vivaan was already present there helping her out with the arrangements)

Manyata - Tu bhi aaja.. (They all hug. Mahir and Bani had a smile on their faces looking at the family.)

Arnav - Masi mujhe aapko do special logon se mil wana hein.. Ye hein Angel, meri new friend.

Manyata - Bilkul ye toh hein hi Pari.

Bani - Happy Diwali masi. (She wishes, touching Manyata's feet )

Manyata - Arey ye kya ho rahi ho beta.. Apni masi ko aese old feels toh mat do..

Veer - Aapko kisne old bol diya masi.. Aap toh hum sab se zyada cool ho. (He says with a smile)

Arnav - Aur Masi ye hein Mahir.. Ye bohot sweet hein.. Inhone mujhe dher Sare chocolates diye.. Par rock, paper, scissors mai thode weak hein. Pure raaste mujhse harte aaye hein.

They all laugh.

Manyata - Hello beta.. Accha laga tumse milkar.. Aur lagta hein abb milna wilna laga rahega.. (She says teasing Bela. The blush on her face confirming Manyata's doubt. Mahir also blushes)

Manyata - Accha Veer tum Bani ko guests se milwao aur Bela tum..

Veer - Maasi woh mujhe kuch zaruri kaam hein.. So i can't (he says straight away denying her request of accompanying Bani)

Bela - Koi nahi.. Main Bela aur Mahirji dono ko introduce kar wa deti hu.. (She says noticing the tension building up)

Veer nods and leaves. Bela introduces Bani and Mahir to the guests. Though Bani 's mind was preoccupied with someone's thought. Now she was hurt and kinda irritated too. Why was he behaving so oddly with her? As she kept on trailing over her thoughts, she sees Veer with Chandani.

They both were talking and seemed quite comfortable with each other now. Bani was just standing there watching them with a placid expression. Both of them were now laughing and giggling with each other while Bani felt a prick in her heart.

Bani (in mind) - Meri taraf toh ek baar dekha bhi nahi aur Chandani ke sath aese... Bani Tu pagal hogayi hei kya.. Matlab soch kya rahi hein.. You can't be jealous and after all you told him to talk to her and clear things.. Wait a minute how did jealousy even come into the picture.. I swear if I don't get answers from him,I will go mad.
Bela looks at Bani looking in Veer and Chandani's direction.

Bela - Mahirji, Bani aap yahan rukiye.. Main aati hu..

Mahir and Bani nod while Bela goes towards Veer.

Bela - Veer I want to talk to you.

Chandani - You guys talk.. I will take my leave.

Veer - Kya hua Bela..?

Bela - What is wrong with you Veer?

Veer - What!?

Bela - I am not blind Veer.. I can see something is off with you.. Why are you ignoring Bani. Matlab kabhi uske pass jate ho aur phir dur chale jate ho. Does she really deserve that?.. Do you know tumhara ye hot and cold behavior usse kitna affect kar raha hoga?

Veer - I am doing this for her Bela. Kyunki woh ja bhi aas pass hoti hein main kuch soch nahi pata. Khudko rok nahi pata, apne jazzbaton par kabu nahi kar pata. Main har baar apne dil main ye baat dalta rehta hu ki I don't deserve her par jab woh pass hoti hein toh ye dil khudgarzi par utar aata hein, selfish hojata hein.. Uska mera se ek pal dur jana bhi mujhe sehen nahi ho pata hein.. Aur mujhe.. Mujhe peheli baar dar .. Dar kya hota hein ye mehsus hone laga hein..
Bela - Don't run away from your feelings Veer. Dil kabhi jhuth nahi bolta hein. Apne jazzbaton se bhagna galat hein. Aur ye chupi.. Jante ho sabse badi galatafahamiyan kaise paida hoti hein.. Khamoshiyon se.Jao usse baat karo. Jazzbat hein toh dar kaisa..? Aage tum samjhdar ho.

Bela leaves leaving Veer perplexed.

Veer - I won't run away from whatever connection is between us Bani. I won't.
(He says and move towards her. He so wanted to compliment her the very first moment when he had seen her. She was looking like a goddess .Now he just wanted to apologize to her ,reveal his world to her and leave the choice on her whether to stay with him or not.)

As Veer moves towards Bani, he sees something and halts for a second. It was Bani, dancing with somebody with a warm smile spread across her face. He couldn't see the guy though. He was certainly feeling envious from whoever the person was.
He continues moving towards her.

Veer - Bani..

Bani - Veer..

(They both just keep looking at each other. It was the first eye contact which they made today.)

Guy - Am I missing something..?

Bani - No.. No.. Ahh.. So sorry.. That's

Veer... My boss (she said and it hurt him. Though he knew that he had hurt her as well)

Bani - And Veer that's... Jay.

Tumhare sath safar main chalte chalte kabil banne ka irrada tha,
Par tumhari mohhabat ne toh humein Sifar bana diya.
Aur sifar insaanon ko khak hi manzil mila karti hein.
