The birds chirped, there was a rosy hue spread across the sky. It is a lovely morning. The rays pour down on the girl’s face, waking her up. A smile appears on her face, her heart filled with excitement. She immediately jumps out of bed and gets ready to meet her destiny. This morning was very special for her. Her life was finally going to take a new turn for the better.
It was Bani Sharma. She was living with the Sehgals after her parents' demise.

Sumitra - Iss ladki ko aur kitna time lagega... Yahaan der ho jayegi aur paise toh flight ke humare jayenge lekin muft ka khana ka toh kuch logon ki aadat hoti hein. Waise bhi kaha tha maine Mahir ko ki flight kyun maharani train se bhi toh jaa sakti hein...

Andy - Sumi, har waqt itna zeher ugalne ki kya zarurat hein? Tum bhi janti ho Bani kaisi hein. Iss ghar ke liye kitna kuch kar rahi hein..
(Sumitra rolls her eyes and Bani enters.)

Bani-Andy maamuuu! (She hugs Him).

Andy - Yes princess!

Sumitra-Mel milap hogaya ho toh niklogi? Aur ek baat, apne bhai ke faltu main koi paise kharch mat karana. Mera Mahir toh heera hein, bas kisi ko dekha nahi aur madad karne nikal pada.

Bani-Mami, maine aaj tak kya aap se pyar ke siwa kuch manga hein? Par afsos ki baat hein ki woh toh aap kabhi mujhe de hi nahi payi. Padhai maine scholarship par ki aur abb job bhi karne lagungi. Apne kharch ka bojh main aap par kabhi nahi padne dungi.
(Then she move towards Andy)
Par mamu aap ke aur Mahir bhai ke diye pyar ke itna kimati mere pass kuch nahi hein lotane ko.

Andy - Bacha, hum tumhare apne hein aur rishton mein lena den nahi hota. Relationships are not deals.

Sumitra- Par...

Andy - BAS SUMII! (Sumitra goes quiet)

Andy - Bani Beta tum jao and All the best! I know tumhe job zaroor milegi, tum itni mehnati jo ho.
(Bani smiles and starts leaving. That when she hears sumitra saying Andy something.)

Sumitra - Sach main? Aap iss manhus ladki ke liye abb mujhe par chilayenge. Arey jiske wajah se khud uske maa baap guzar gaye... Uss ladki...

Andy - Apna muh band rakho tum! Ek lafz bhi main Bani ke khilaaf nahi sununga.

(Bani hears it. A tear escapes her eyes. She was a strong girl and would always take stand for herself but somewhere Sumitra's venomous words had always pricked her heart. She always expected a motherly love from her but could never receive it.)

Bani (in mind) -Parayon se kya shikayat kare, zakhm toh kareebi log hi dete hein (she gives a dry laugh)..It's okay Bani.(wiping her tear) .. Aaj ye sab mat soch.. Khaas kar aaj toh bilkul bhi nahi. Sab thik ho jayega.
Shivji main janti hu ki iss naye safar par koi mera sath de ya na de par aap mera sath zarur denge. (She joins her hand and prays to the Almighty before leaving)

(She enters the plane. It was her first time flying and she was a bit nervous. A lady comes and sits beside her.)

Lady- Aap nervous hein?

Bani- Ji nahi... Aesi koi baat nahi hein... (The lady nods.) Actually haan!
(The lady chuckles.)

Lady- It's alright, jab peheli baar main travel kar rahi thi toh meri bhi kuch aesi hi haalat thi... So I understand.

Lady - Ek lambi saans lo, bure khyaalon ko man se hatao aur ye socho ki iss safar ki manzil kitni khubsurat hone wali hein. Just think about it.

(Bani closes her eyes and thinks about her future. A good job, happy family and probably a...partner. A blush crepts on her face as she thinks about it.)

Lady - Dekho, take off hogaya.

Bani- Ohh haan(she sighs in relief)... Thank you so much.

Riddhima- Well pardon my intrusion but tumhare blush ko dekh kar lag raha hein ki kisi special someone ko imagine kiya hein. (She smiles)

Bani- No... Nooo... There's nothing like that.. I mean..
(Riddhima chuckles.)

Riddhima - By the way I am Riddhima.

Bani- I am Bani and once again thanks for helping me out.

Riddhima - Thanks for trusting me... I mean aaj kal ke zamane main sabse zyada agar koi kho gaya hein toh woh hein bharosa.

Bani- Baat toh hein, yahan koi dusre par bharosa karna nahi chhata par chahta hein ki dusra uspar bharosa kare. So strange right?

Riddhima - Yeah.. So tum mumbai main hi rehti ho ya phir kisi kaam se?

Bani- Meri wahaan job lagi hein... Actually meri dream job! Bohot time se isse chase kar rahi thi and finally I have it! So yeah that’s why the excitement! 

Riddhima - That's great!

Bani- And you?

Riddhima - Main mumbai mai hi rehti hun apne husband ke sath, business ke kaam se Delhi gayi thi.

Bani- That's nice
(That's when they hear a girl talking to her friend beside her.)

Girl - No eeshu! I am really done now. I mean like seriously, I can't believe he cheated on me. I am telling you love and all is bullshit. I am staying single forever now. Can't trust these men anymore.

Bani- I feel aaj kal love aur hate inn dono words ko logon ne bohot generalise kar diya hein. Inn shabdon ki gehraiyon ko hum samjhte bhi nahi. Yeh nahi samjahte ki halat galat ho sakte hai, log galat ho sakte hai, par pyaar galat nahi ho sakta.

Riddhima - Have you ever fallen in love Bani?

Bani- No... Not really but I do believe in it. Mere hisaab se pyar woh roshni hein jo gham ke andheron ko dur karne ki taqat rakhti hein. Waqt kitna bhi mushkil kyun na ho usmein muskurane ki himaat deta hein pyaar.

Riddhima - You are a beautiful person Bani. Both in and out.

(Bani and Riddhima continued talking for a long time.They now seemed like long lost best friends.The flight was about to land.)

Riddhima - So Bani, Love or career?

Bani-Career hamesha pehele. Then Love.

Riddhima - Well high five on that.(she smiles)

(The flight lands and they come out of the airport. )

Bani- It was great meeting you Riddhima!

Riddhima- It was great meeting you too and who knows hum kab wapis mil jaye. Anyways, all the best, I hope iss trip main tumhe woh sab mil jaye jo tum deserve karti ho.

(Bani smiles and leaves for the hotel where Mahir had a business conference, carrying her RED bag. She had told Mahir that her flight would land an hour later to make sure he wouldn’t leave his meeting for her)

Bani-Bhaiya KOHINOOR hotel le chaliye!

After sometime Bani reached the kohinoor hotel.

Bani (calls Mahir) - Bhai...

Mahir - Haan Bani... Main bas nikal hi raha hu.. .Teri flight kahi jaldi toh nahi aa gayi... Ohh God tu wohi wait kar.. I am coming immediately.

Bani-Bhai chilll..aap bhi na kuch zyada hi tension lete ho..infact aap reception par aa jaiye.. Aapki puri tension dur ho jayegi.. .

Mahir-Par...? (She cuts the call)

Bani-Aaj toh bhai ki shakal ekdum dekhne wali hogi (she chuckles)

(She enters the hotel. Suddenly, a girl in front of her almost stumbles and Bani holds her. The girl seemed in a hurry.)

Bani-You alright?

(The girl doesn't answer her and leaves hurriedly.)

Bani(in mind) - How rude! par maybe koi emergency hogi.

Mahir - BANI!! .

Bani-Bhai!! Surprise surprise! (She says and hugs Mahir)

Mahir - Bani! Tum yahan abhi? Tumhari flight toh ek ghante baad ki thi na?

Bani- Haan. But I thought kyun na apne bhai ko surprise diya jaye.

Mahir- So is my little sister ready to pursue her dream job?

Bani- Yes bhai I am lekin sath main thoda nervous bhi hu!

Mahir - Meri behen ko nervous hone ki kya zarurat hein, woh itni talented hein usse toh bilkul confident hona chahiye! Aur baki tujhse toh aese bhi sab darte hein mujhe hi dekh le. (He chuckles)

Bani- Bhai!! (She says pouting like a small child in anger)

Mahir smiles.
(They hear few girls whispering)

Girl 1- Did you see him, oh my god he is hot!

Girl 2 - Seriously, I mean did you look at that devilish smirk and that jawline.

Girl 1 - Kash ye banda mere life ka hero hota.
Bani hears them talking and frowns

Bani-Ye kiski baat kar rahe hein Bhai?

Mahir - Kyun tujhe bhi uss bande ko apna Hero Banana hein kya? (He chuckles)

Bani- No way bhai, kyunki meri life ki hero main khud hu isiliye I don't need a hero for myself.

Mahir -Teri barabari karne ke liye toh lagata hein kisi VILLAIN ko hi utarna padega.

Bani - Point
(Both of them laugh.)
Mahir gets a call.

Mahir - Ek second Bani.
(Bani nods and mahir picks up the call.)

Mahir(on call) - Yes Pratham .. Okayy i am coming.

Bani - Kya hua bhai?

Mahir - Woh Bani MD sir ne kuch important kaam se bulaya hein.. Tum bahar wait karo main yun gaya aur yun aaya.

Bani - Okay Bhai!

Mahir leaves

Bani leaves for the exit. That's when she collides with somebody and her eyes focus on those dark black eyes. Those eyes that had a thousand stories trapped within them. She felt the person's gaze upon her, piercing her soul.

Log usse uski muskurahat ki wajah pucha karte the,
Aaj humne bhi puch liya ki uss muskurahat ke piche chupa dard humein kab tak nahi dikhaogi!
