Moving To A New School?! Why Is Life So Unfair?
READER'S POV
Hi, my name is (L/n) (F/n) I'm 16 years old and I'm into my 5th year in high school. I'm the student council president and the lead singer of a girl band. Right now, I was at the student council meeting discussing what events we should use for our school festival. Sora looked at the pile of paperwork that we needed to get done.
"We've got a lot of suggestions from our senpais, these stalls look interesting."
"Ugh, not much suggestions from the freshmen, most of the boys are coming up with these stupid ideas. Take a look at this, one of them even suggested a kissing booth! what the hell is this?! a school or a playboy mansion!!"
I shouted in frustration before scrunching up the piece of paper and tossing it into the bin. Sora sweatdropped a little and he said to me.
"Must no be easy being the president."
"Ugh, tell me about it and I've got a band practise after this, we've got a huge gig coming up."
I grumbled a little before resting my head on my hands and then Sora patted my shoulder.
"Don't worry, Boss, you can do it."
"I wish I had your enthusiasm, Sora."
Sora chuckled and then some of the other council members came over to me.
"President, here's this week's budget for the festival."
"Arigato."
I took the piece of paper and I looked at the budget and it looked reasonable enough. And that's how my day usually ends during the week. President during the day and then a singer at night. Once the meeting was over for the day, I grabbed my stuff and I ran over to the music studio since I was running late again. Once I got there, my bandmates: Ryo the drummer, Lizzy the bass guitarist and Seth the lead guitarist, were set up and ready to go.
"There you are, (Y/n), what took you so long?" Seth said to me as he got his guitar ready.
"Gomen, I had another council meeting and by the time it was over I had to run all the way here."
I said to him after getting my breath back. I got my rhythmic guitar set up and then Lizzy said to me.
"Is there a time and place when you're not juggling two jobs? haven't you considered taking a long break from being president of the student council?"
"Nope, besides, this is the only time when I can get a stress reliever."
I said as we began to play our new song.

~Intro~
"Ready set go!"
We were racing to the goal line not long ago
Even though, there was so much we didn't know yet
Crossing that line
We saw that they would be no going back in time
Even though, there was so much we didn't know yet
We're burning and fighting under the sun
Yeah, my skin is glistening
From sweat dripping down my face
As time will pass, I believe
There are many things that we may forget
Everyone will become a silhouette
But why do we pretend we don't care
All about the things that we hold so dear?
It's so when, it's hurting
We can laugh through the tears
So, here we go!
The little things that I remember from our youth
Above all, I recall, we thought the world ours
But now I understand
I see that destiny is far out of our hands
And the clock can't be stopped
These days keep rolling on
We fight it and fight it
And fight it but
Time will always keep moving on
Farther out of our reach
Yeah, as time will pass, I believe
There are many things that we may forget
Everyone will become a silhouette
But why do we pretend we don't care
All about the things that we really fear?
It's so when, it's hurting
We can laugh through the tears
So gracefully we're fluttering, like dancing leaves
I will live my life
I wanna be free from all the grief here in my memory
And as time will pass, I believe
There are many things that we may forget
But it seems, that some things, they'll never change and
When I close my eyes, it is you
That I see, cause you taught me this truth
Never fade, never fade
This silhouette, yeah
Cherish everything that you love
Hold them closer still in the years to come
Don't let go, even though, time keeps going on
One day soon, I hope we can mend
What we left on that day and start again
So with you, one day soon
We'll laugh through the tears
So gracefully we're fluttering, like dancing leaves
Always dreaming, we'll be flying free
~Outro~
Once band practise was done, we headed home and Lizzy looked excited.
"Hehe! this is best! I can't wait for the gig now!"
"Of course, we've got our best singer in the band."
Seth said as he ruffled my hair. I giggled a little and then my phone started buzzing. I looked at the text messages and it was from my mother. I sighed a little and then Ryo said to me.
"Trouble with the mother again?"
"No, just her nagging again, telling me to come home, apparently she's got BIG news."
"Oh yeah?"
"Yep, anyway, I gotta dash, see you guys tomorrow!"
I spoke with a smile before running after the bus and I managed to get on it in time. Once I got home, dinner was ready and then Dad spoke up.
"There you are, what took you so long?"
"Sorry, anyway, what's this big news Okaa-san has?"
I asked as I put down my guitar case and my bag down before sitting at the dinner table. Mom came over to us with a plate of spaghetti carbonara. Mom smiled at us and then she said to us.
"My favourite people in the world, I've got some great news! your darling mother and wife got a promotion at work!"
"Okaa-san that's fantastic, congratulations."
I spoke with a smile on my face but, a part of me knows that there's a catch.
"Wait a second, this promotion won't require you to do some travelling will it?" I questioned her.
"Hehe, you got me. But, the only travelling we'll be doing it moving house and moving school."
"What!!!??" Dad and I shouted in a shocked tone.
"(Mother's name)! you can't be serious?! this is where I started my freelance business! I'll end up losing clients!"
"You'll find more honey."
"What about me, Okaa-san?! I'm the student council president! I've got a school festival to prepare and a gig to attend! I can't just up and leave all of a sudden!"
"You make new friends and you can become the next student council president at this school."
"Eh?!"
Mom gave me a leaflet containing information about my new school. This school is Basara Private Academy. Mom smiled at me and she said to me.
"I've checked the place out and it's a perfect environment for you and Headmaster Nobunaga was kind enough to let you into the school. Since my new boss needs me ASAP, we're moving as of next week!"
"What?! Okaa-san! you can't just do that! Otu-san! say something!!"
Dad sweatdropped and he then said to me.
"Well, there's nothing we can do now. If everything is set to go then we've got no choice but to listen to your mother."
"Ugh! you're no help!!"
I shouted angrily before storming off to my room. I slammed my door shut and I flopped onto my bed with a frustrated look on my face.
'It's not fair...why is life so unfair?'
From then on, my life was about to change the moment I moved to my new school.
