A new chapter of Sameeksha's life was going to start. More than studying at Gurukul, she was excited about Abhishek's arrival. She put her books and stationary in her bag and picked the outfit she was going to wear on the first day of Gurukul.

She took a deep breath and went to bed with an ear to ear smile. She was sleeping peacefully when the loud noise of a thunder made her wake up. She sat on the bed, "shit. That was a dream!?" She asked herself. "Yaar ese kese dream tha! Itna accha tha sab. Sapna tha to thoda aur dekh leti" She said. She was confused, was it really a dream? She decided to go to Dilin's room.

"Bhai utho" She said shaking him, "bhai!!" She said, he hummed. "Utho na" She said, "sone de na" he said in a sleepy voice. "Me zor se Raftaar chilaa dungi" She threatened, he gave up. "Bol" He said rubbing his eyes, "Raf..." She said but he placed his hand on her mouth. "Arey jo baat bolne aai hai woh bol!" He said.

"Bhaiya Abhishek sahi me aa raha hai na yaha?" She asked, he rolled his eyes. "Yaar tune mujhe iss lie uthaya?" He asked annoyed, she nodded. He looked at the time, "abhi uske aane me time hai" He said. "Matlab woh iss saal nhi, agle saal aa raha hai?" She asked disappointed. "Hey bhagwaan! Kaha fass gaya me!" He said looking up. "Choti abhi subhah ke 4 bajj rahe hai. Gurukul ke gates 7 bje khulenge, to woh tabhi aaega na?" He explained trying to stay calm. She nodded slowly. "Good, jaa soja ab" She said, she nodded and left.

Sameeksha was the first one to wake up in the morning. She quickly got ready, had some breakfast, and left for Gurukul. The gate was still closed, there were still fifteen minutes left. She sighed and waited with other students. There were about sixty to eighty students present. The one she was trying to find in the crowd, was Abhishek Sharma.

A man came to open the gates and everybody was let in. Students kept coming, but Abhishek was nowhere to be seen.

Devaki and Karan were going to distribute the ID cards. Sameeksha did not have the courage to ask Devaki to inform her when Abhishek would come. She tried to ask Karan, who agreed in an instant. Sameeksha took her card and received a timetable.

Sameeksha's first lecture was Animal Physiology. She sat in a middle row and looked at every student coming in the class. She was too focused on meeting with Abhishek that she did not interact with any other student. At the start of the lecture, all the seats on her left were empty. She did not bother and placed her books on the desk.

Vidyut came in the class, he was the lecturer for that particular subject. Even if Animal Physiology was Sameeksha's favourite subject, she was not concentrating on what Vidyut was saying. She was continuosly looking at the door.

"Miss Nair" Vidyut said, "Miss Nair!!" He raised his voice when Sameeksha did not listen to him. She immediately stood up, "darwaaze ke bahar ki duniya zada pasand hai to aap wahi jaa sakti hai" He said, she shook her head and sat down.

"May I come in Sir?" A voice said from the door, Sameeksha smiled and looked at the door, it was not Abhishek. "Isko kaha dekha hai?" She asked herself,  "Shubman?" She thought, "Gill?" She scratched her head. "Please come in" Vidyut smiled.  "Aaj aap sab ka pehla din hai, so I won't mind you coming late since aap me se kucch boht door se aa rahe hai" Vidyut said.

Shubman looked for a seat, he then found a whole row empty. His gaze fell on Sameeksha, he wondered why she was sitting alone. He shrugged his shoulders and went to sit next to her. They smiled at each other and focused on the lecture.

Dilin was hiding behind a wall near the main entrance of Gurukul, he looked at his phone and then looked around. Nobody was around him, he took a deep breath and left.

He was walking in the corridors near the laboratories, which were not busy as it was still the first day and everyone was in lecture halls.

He was checking inside every room through the windows, but he couldn't find what he was looking for.

Suddenly, he heard a familiar voice, his heart beat increased but he managed not to show that on his face. He turned around and saw Karan.

"Dilin tum yaha kya kar rahe ho? Aur waha andar kya dekh rahe the?" Karan asked, Dilin smiled a bit, "woh me Sameeksha ko dhoondh raha tha" He lied. "Sameeksha to lecture me hogi na?" Karan asked, Dilin nodded, "haan tabhi andar dekh raha tha ke woh yaha hai ya nhi" Dilin tried to explain.

Karan nodded slightly, "par tum Sameeksha ko dhoondh kyu rahe ho?" He asked. Dilin took a deep breath, he was getting irritated by Karan's continuous questions. "Woh apna lunch box ghar pe bhool geyi thi, wahi dene aaya tha" Dilin said, getting a lunch box out of his bag and showing it to Karan.

Karan smiled, "kitna pyaar hai tum dono bhai behen me" He said. Dilin smiled and nodded. "By the way, Sameeksha ka lecture neeche wale floor pe chal raha hai" Karan said, Dilin thanked him and left.
