Shadow's P.O.V.
   Gabbie's leg is really healing quickly. I mend it with a potion every day, and that seems to help. Louie's joined us our journey. He's a big help, too!

One week later...
Gabbie's P.O.V.
My leg is fully healed now, and I'm ready to battle again! Today Shadow took me to a normal-type dojo for Pokémon and gave me some special training. I really feel stronger after that!

Louie's P.O.V.
"Hey, Shadow!" I called out to Shadow as she exited the dojo with Gabbie. "Wanna have a Pokémon battle?"
"Sure! Sounds like fun!" She replied back to me.
We went to the battle field when the moon was high. It was nighttime. Maybe Gabbie wouldn't be able to see in the dark very well. "Come on out, Espeon!" I called as I threw the PokéBall containing my Espeon. We've been together for a while; ever since I started training. My Espeon wasn't shiny like Shadow's Eevee, though. But Espeon was probably stronger.
Gabbie raced out onto the battlefield. She looked ready to fight. "Gabbie, quick attack!" Gabbie released a very fast quick attack, which was a direct hit on Espeon! "Espeon, get up and use physic!" Espeon leaped up from his position on the ground after Gabbie's quick attack and used a physic attack. It lifted Gabbie into the air, way up high. Then it plummeted her down back to the ground.
It created a wall of dust surrounding her. Nobody could see if she could make it through the attack. When the dust cleared, Gabbie was struggling to regain strength. But she collapsed again and again. It seemed clear the winner was me now. But then...
Gabbie started to glow a bright blue. Was she... Evolving? Shadow and I looked at each other with that She's evolving look and looked at Gabbie. Her shape was changing. We were both anticipating what Eeveelution she became.
The glowing stopped and dissolved into particles of dust. She had become an Umbreon. A beautiful, shiny Umbreon. Now our physic moves wouldn't do anything against her. She had the advantage.
"Gabbie, Dark pulse!" Gabbie had learned a new move. The dark pulse was another direct hit on Espeon. This time the dust wall surrounded Espeon. When it cleared, he was unable to battle. Shadow had won the battle.
"Espeon is no longer able to battle. The winner is Shadow and her Umbreon, Gabbie!" The ref called and waved the green flag towards the other side of the field. I walked up to Gabbie and Shadow and said that was a good game. Gabbie seemed proud of herself. I sat down and began to pet her. Then she pounced me to the ground and started to lick my face! "Aw, stop it, Gabbie!" I called as I laughed. Then Gabbie turned to Shadow to give her some licks. Gabbie must be very affectionate.
Then we went to the Pokémon Center to heal our Pokémon and sleep for the night. "You know, that battle was pretty awesome," I said to Shadow as we gave Joy our Pokémon. Shadow nodded with a yawn. She stretched her arms. "Well, I'm going to bed. See ya tomorrow, Louie!" She started to walk away to her room in the Pokémon Center.
