" I wonder what's going on in konoha?"

Maybe we should look and see? I mean, not everything revovles around Sasuke, Orochimaru, and the Akatsuki. They ARE other S-ranked criminals and rogues. Same goes with Naruto, its not just those certain teams we hear about, there are other ninjas, and there also are people who ARENT ninjas too!

"Naruto. Something wrong?" I asked looking at his stressed out figure slumping on the bench.

" Sasuke left the village and Tsunade wont give me a mission." I bit my lip. So sasuke left the village huh? Always knew he was an idiot. Might as well make blondie happy.

"Well....do you wanna go get some ramen?" I pointed my thumb behind me and he shook his head and got up to walk in the other direction. Wow, he must really be hurting from this. He turned down free ramen. Maybe he's going to go try and get another mission from Tsunade. He turned around with a terrified look in his eyes.

" Promise me Hero, that you wont leave to. I wont be able to handle it if you leave." I nodded.

"Im sure you would. I promise though, I'll never leave you." Me and Naruto had been friends since I came to the village when I was seven. I was his first friend. And even today we are tied by the hip. I even help him train once in a while by cheering him on. To most people im very cold and may come off mean, but thats just my defense, its because of what happened in my past that made me what I am today. But even though im cold, to my friends, Im one of the most friendliest people you could know, and one of the weakest.

Naruto had always shooed off the bullies from my school, my normal middle school. Meaning I was not a ninja. He scared them because he could do ninjustu. But he didnt really scare the other ninjas, and they really didnt bother me. Actually from when i was seven up until now I've become good friends with them.

I chuckled lightly and waved at Naruto as he sadly walked out of the gates on a pointless D ranked mission. Knowing him he'll make it into an adventure.

" Hey Hero." I turned around and smiled at my best friend, Ryu.

"Hey Ryu.?" His eyes widened and he rushed to feel my forehead.

"Are you OK!?" I raised an eyebrow and widened my smirk into a side grin.

"WASSSSUUUUUUPPPP!?" He started laughing and fixed his jacket. Stupid boy, becomes a chunnin.

"I think we should take you to the hospital Hero, your acting like a normal human being!" He grinned and wrapped his hand proectively around my shoulder, guarding me from the flirtatious boys walking past us. I laughed alittle while we walked aimlessly.

" Naruto is on another adventure." He laughed.

" Every second in Naruto's life is an adventure." How do I know Team 7? Ryu. He's a ninja who met everyone in the chunnin exams and passed with shikamaru. He said it was extremely hard, I WOULD know if i were a ninja but stupid Hokage wont let me, not even the old hag. 

" True. He'll probably get a step closer to finding sasuke, the idiot. Sasuke is so dumb for leaving the village for that-"

"Pedophile, as we speak he's probably getting tongue raped." Ryu shivered and I laughed.

"Where do you get this humor!?" He shouted playfully at me.

" Wasnt raised, so I cant really be mature or polite can I?" Ryu lowered his gaze.

"Ya. My mom is always telling me what to do." He then grinned. " Well it was cool seeing ya but its getting kind of late. Naruto did leave at what? 7:00? Do you need me to walk you home?"

"No im fine. Im a big girl." I mocked rolling my eyes. He gave me stern gaze.

"Just remember to be alert, even this village isnt safe at night."

"Ok dad." He smacked me lightly on the arm.

"Dont speak to your father that way!" He joked around and  I chuckled and waved as I headed out of the gates. I was a citizen of the leaf but my house was outside of the gates. No big deal, just alittle walk through some trees. As I walked I felt someones chakra. I had studied enough of the ninja arts to know how to do simple tasks. 

"Who's there." I said more than asked trying to be scary...it didnt work.

A kunai pressed against my neck and cut me a little bit. I felt the blood drip down my neck and a chillingly cold breath hit the side of my face.

" Depends on who you are." It whispered and I noted that it was a boy, my age, and by the way his body shifted, he was about 3 inches taller than me.

" What village are you from?"

" None." It was such a nerve racking reply. Every second was one closer to death it felt. The enemies entire body was cold. But they werent dead, they were alive. And I know they werent a vampire, those ones that sparkle are just unicorns playing pranks.

" Are you rogue?"

"S-rank." Oh God. Im at the hands of an S-rank criminal. Wait, could this be sasuke? No, sasuke sounds different. His voice is much more annoyed and vicious, this one is cold, menacing, and a killers.  It was so close to sasuke's though, the two must be alike or related. Im going for the first.

" Orochimaru or Akatsuki."

"Neither for now."

" Who are you?" I felt hands grip my arms tightly and his voice came out more angry and annoyed.

" I thought we went through this already-" He spit out. His voice was complete acid to my ears and made the blood drain from my face. " It depends. Now you might want to follow through with what i ask you or you WILL be killed. I wont hesitate. Your blood means nothing to me."

" Do you like to kill?" The kunai was pressed even farther, one little slit and im done for. 

" No. But I do anyways." I let out a shaky breathe and followed through with his long procrastinated demands.

" Im Hero. No last name. A regular citizen of Konohagakure. 13 years of age, 5'2", I go to Konoha Middle School." I felt the hands loosen but not enough for relief, or a chance to escape.

"What do you know about the ninja world? You noticed my chakra. Dont lie to me wench." I gritted my teeth in anger. No one calls me names. But in this situation i have no choice.

" I've studied the basics, the hokage never allowed me to become a ninja or go to the academy."

"You go to middle school. Whats your grade point average ."

" 4.0, best subject is Math." His hands loosened once again and i felt a trickle of relief but not enough to quench the pain.

" Where are your parents?"

" Dead, Gone, Drunk, Drugged, Rich, Poor." I rolled my eyes and shifted my weight to one leg. I gasped as a sharp point entered my arm and the hands pushed it through. A kunai, i didnt even know while he was gripped me that he had a kunai in his hand. It went straight through my arm and I  winced. Thats going to hurt way much  more tomorrow.

" Dont play with me."

" I have no idea. I've havent ever met them." He pulled the kunai through my arm pocketed it.

" Where are you going?"

"Home. My house is outside the village."

"Is anyone waiting for you at home?"

"My cat." He laughed dryly.

"So no one will care if your even gone huh?"

"Ryu and Naruto will." I answered weakly. I was losing far to much blood. I heard him sigh in anger.

"Who the hell is ryu?"

"My friend." I heard him laugh dryly again. "Now who the hell are you? I told you enough."

"Names' Raid, your age, s-rank ninja from the rain village. No family. Thats all you need to know." He felt the cold body leave and the instant warmth of the near summer air hit my body. " For now." That sent chills down my spine. For now?  What does he mean for now? Wait, why the heck am i asking that in my head?

"What do you mean for now." I turned to face him but didnt see him, just his cold green eyes that lit up in the night and the slightest bit of his hair from the barely see-able moon. How eery, they must've been a kekkai genkai because no eyes were like that at night, they were like green orbs of light. So strange....

" It means you'll be coming in contact with me again, and may need to learn more about me. For having a 4.0 your not the mostest smartest person." I could hear the sneer in his voice. 

" Why would I come in contact with you?" I spit out angrily, trying to see his stupid face amongst the green glow.

" Watch your mouth-" A kunai was sent into my stomach and I pulled it out easily. " Your tolerance for pain is extraordinary for a non-ninja." He inquired suspiciously.

"Dont be suspicious loser. Anyone can have a high tolerance for pain. Either emotional or physical. Or both." 

" I'll being seeing you soon. Pack your bags." I glared at his sillhoute.

" And if I dont?" I thought about the thought of leaving. I just couldnt, not after naruto lost one friend, i couldn't just leave him. 

" Then you'll leave with the clothes on your back."

"Why the hell do you want me anyways!?" I shouted at the darkness. I saw his eyes close in annoyance.

"  You will be of help. At least I think. If your not I'll simply kill you." 

" I wont leave with out a fight." I threatened.

"You wont have much of one, especially against your opponant. You really cant defeat me girl." It was then I heard he left. I screamed in anger and punched the nearest tree. 

Might as well go home...

I woke up the next day to find a burnt letter on my nightstand.

" I will be coming tonight at midnight. Have your bags packed or be ready to fight. Your choice bitch."

I cant believe he just called me that. I really hate this guy. And what a stupid name. Raid. Who names their kid raid!?

Ok hope you liked it! I finally got back from sleepaway camp and your all gone kill me T_T im leaving for ANOTHER WEEK! 10 days to be exact. But!
