Your POV

I accepted the form of a handshake and smiled shyly at Sans,his two pearly eye lights had a sort of concern that made me think of the love of a big brother,reminding me of mine back home. Just then,I remembered the importance of the mission I was previously on,to scout out the camp and gather information of the monsters plans,since things between monsters and ninja were on thin ice since one of our best ninja dies on monster turf,it's all been tense. Shaking those thoughts off,I looked back to Sans. He looked to be deep in thought,his eye lights dulled slightly,giving the illusion he was unfocused on the real world,off in his own thoughts.

Hesitantly,I tapped his finger and he snapped out of it,looking down at me,I looked at the snow covered ground,coming up with what I would say before I did say it. A few seconds of thinking,I had it,"You asked the reason why I'm out here,right?"I started,he nodded,hanging onto my every word,"I was supposed to be on a mission." A look of realisation crossed his features as he nodded,taking a moment to process all of the information. "Okay,but,what was the mission?" he asked,making me freeze to the spot,I couldn't tell him that!

Sans' POV

Noticing the way they froze when I asked that question,I took a stab at it and guess the objective of the mission was something that only the ninja were to know. Hastily I added,"You don't have to tell me."this made them relax slightly so I could tell it really was something secret,though I could understand why they would feel obligated to tell me,considering my position in this. "I-i have to get back soon." (Y/n) said in a small voice,almost like they were afraid I wouldn't let them go,then they continued,"If I'm gone to long,they'll think I've been taken prisoner or....killed." Their voice trailed off at the end as they looked down again,refusing to meet my gaze.

"Okay." I said simply,making (Y/n)'s head snap up to meet my gaze and they looked incredibly confused. Chuckling lightly,I put it in a simple term,"Well,who am I to stop you?" They beamed up at me before saying,"I'll be back to see you soon!"before they sprinted away,leaving me in an open clearing on my own,a goofy grin on my face. Standing up,I chuckled,wondering how the kid would find me again,I felt a strange feeling in my chest. Clicking my digits,I teleported back to my house,practically hearing Papyrus' ranting if I was late,again.
