Sans' POV

Setting off for patrol,I wondered if it would be the day my brother finally met a human,not like he could ever capture one,he is easy to innocent to ever hurt anybody,I swear one day his kindness will he the and of him,not like that will happen while I'm still his boneified brother. I was walking down the least used path and hummed,I usually didn't walk down this path but today I felt like I wanted to enjoy a calm meander through the forest instead of working on my machine all day. The snow-tipped trees reached towards the cave roof and the sound of children laughing echoed from the town,even if we are trapped down here,we still are able to find ways to enjoy our lives just having fun. Such a calm place like this is kinda nice after trying to rush around and find humans just to be free,I honestly don't see why humans started that pointless war in the first place,is fear really that strong against us?

My smile widened as I closed my eyesockets,the sounds of birdsong sweet as I thought of the time my brother had first brought me here,heh that is defiantly a story for another time. Of course all of the peace wouldn't last as I suddenly heard a small whimpering sound and I looked towards the direction it came from and it sounded louder behind the thick oak trunk of one of the tallest trees. Cautiously I stepped closer making as little noise as I could as leaves littered the ground and heard someone shushing the person whimpering,slowly peaking around the trunk what I saw shocked me. How are they so tiny?

Your POV

My brother's teary (e/c) orbs looked into mine,his (h/c) hair shadowing his eyes as he whimpered I shushed my brother noticing the footsteps of one of the monsters coming towards us,I didn't want them to catch me again,I hugged my brother and let him cry silently onto my shoulder. Suddenly I heard a gasp above us and I quickly looked up,I saw a black void with a white orb in the center staring at me,fear set itself in my veins as I realised it was a fully grown skeleton! My brother sensed I was tense and hugged me tighter burying his face in my (h/c) hair, the skeleton noticed I had seen him and that I had my arms protectively around my brother and his stare softened so I relaxed.

Then he moved his shoulders,his boney hands appeared and began to move towards us and my eyes widened,he was going to take us,no! I wasn't ready to be taken as a pet by another giant skeleton that wants to to do experiments on us. Me and my brother stood up,he turned and saw the skeleton and his (e/c) eyes widened as he recalled that day. Tears gathered in the corner of his eyes and he began crying,can you blame him,he's only 5 and he has already suffered enough in his life. Looking a the skeleton I saw him looking sympathetically at my brother as he pulled his hand back I hugged my brother and kissed his forehead while I rubbed circles on his back until he began to calm down.

Sans' POV 3rd person

Sans felt guilty as the smaller (though they were both already tiny) human burst into tears when he tried to console them as he still had blood dripping from small gnashes in his skin. He tried to think of a way to help them while not scaring them,when he came up with nothing he decided there was only one way to get them to somewhere safe was to pick them up whether they agreed or not. Sitting on the back of his legs,he reached out for them while they were preoccupied and gently grabbed the boy in his left hand and the girl in his right,the boy began to struggle in his hand.

"Calm down kid,you're going to hurt yourself."Sans said concerned as the boy's blood trickled down his sleeve,he really was concerned with what would make it so the kid would react like this towards him,maybe they had met a monster who wanted to experiment on them. As much as he was curious,Sans would never experiment on a living sentient creature,and he didn't know anyone who did. Sans then placed the humans in his pockets,keeping his hands over the humans to stop them from escaping before standing up and heading back to his house,feeling the humans move every so often,he hurried,knowing that they had probably been out in the cold snow for ages and would probably be cold.
