Black was all I saw as I fell down Mount Ebott,the mocking laughter of Jason echoed around the emptiness as tears floated around me,betrayal in my eyes as I thought about all of the times he had thrown me down and to think,I trusted him! Instead of being sentenced to a hard and gruesome death,I was greeted by a thick layer of snow coating the ground and I popped my head out of it as I looked around I saw a giant figure approaching me and fast so I scrambled over to a treeline of giant trees. Fear overtook my actions as I saw a skeletal figure appear,I was chilled,I gasped,making him turn his skull towards me,a comical grin on his face,two pools of darkness bored into my soul with orbs of white staring at the woods around me as my breath hitched.

Lukily I saw him overlook me as he probably didn't expect a tiny human to be on the ground,so,the rumors are true,about giant monsters that live under the mountain that will eat us. My chest heaved a (quiet) sigh of relief as the skeleton shrugged his shoulders and turned on his heel before walking away,I then got a good look at him,he had a pale blue hoodie with a white shirt underneath,a pair of black shorts with white stripes down each side and to top it off two fluffy pink slippers. Huh,that's weird. I hid behind a nearby tree,making sure that I was out of his line of sight as he walked towards some sort of sentry station,now I know who to avoid. "Wow" I whispered in relief,unable to believe that the giant hadn't seen me.

The I realised how cold it really was and shivered,I had a thick sweater on but the cold seemed to slice right through it,up on the surface it was summer and I always seem to be wearing my thick sweater. Suddenly I heard the crunch of someone behind me and I quickly turned and my face became a ghostly pale,how did he find me?

Sans' POV

As soon as I heard that gasp I had suspected someone was in the woods so after doing a quick scan and walking a few feet away,I heard a quiet sigh come from the forest confirming my suspicions. When I reached my post I stayed there for a few seconds before teleporting to where I heard the gasp,I appeared there and looked around, what I saw shocked me,a human was on the ground. So it was true,about the war,we monsters are defiantly a lot bigger than the humans,that just makes you wonder how we lost the war in the first place. The human looked adorable to be honest,they had (h/c) hair and a sweater similar to mine except (f/c),I stepped forward causing the kid to turn around and they turned pale as they set their (e/c) orbs on me.

Quickly I knelt down and scooped up the human in my hands even with them squirming and trying to escape,I brought them up towards my face to get a better look at them,they were shivering in fear and so I could probably guess there were some rumors up there. "Are you OK kid?"I asked,my voice soft as the kid looked at me in fear I brought my body off of the ground and placed the kid in my pocket with my hand over them and I headed home through one of my portals. Unlikely the kid had ever been portal hopping so they would probably be feeling a few side affects of it,probably would be feeling like they were falling,or at least that's how I felt it at first.
