I was at the hospital with my mother, when I went to talk to someone who was over the dead people, wondering if he had a sample of my dad blood so we can do the DNA test. Even though I know we might not need him since I already knew he was my father, but just in case.

"Hey my name is Skylar Peterson my father Samson Peterson body was place at this hospital, I was wondering if I could get a sample of his blood to do a DNA test." I asked the man, sitting behind a desk.

He pulled something up on his computer and started tapping stuff in the computer. He was frowning up his face.

"Whats your father name again?" He asked me.

"Samson Peterson." I said getting nervous.

He started typing again. His face frown up again.

"I'm sorry to inform you, but no Samson Peterson have any records in my computer as him being dead." The man look at me confused.

What the fuck??? Huh? I'm lost as hell.

"Yes it is, my father died nine months ago." I stood up and walk around to the man desk and look at his computer. He was so right. My father doesn't have an death records.

"Are you sure you looking for the right person?" He asked.

"Yes I'm sure. I know who the fuck my father is."

"Don't get an attitude with me miss. I was trying to hell your stuck up ass out. Seem to me your father not dead at all."

Did he just call me stuck up? Why everyone call me that? I am not stuck up.

My father still alive? If so where the fuck was he?

"Thanks so much for your time." I said then walk out.

My father still alive!!!!!! Why did he fake his death omg. I'm so happy, but then so fucking mad. Why would he fake his death man.

I walked back into my mother room. I grabbed my cellphone and text Kenny.

Me: Hey may you tell Lil C and his mother to get to the hospital asap.
Soon2BBae: Okay, everything good.
Me: No just tell them to come up here.

Not even thirty minutes later. Kenny, his mother , Lil C , his mother and Naenae all piled in the my mother hospital bed.

Lil C mother looked down at my mother and shook her head. I hope she don't start no mess with an unconscious person. That would be just bad.

"Okay first I just want to thank you all for coming here. I agreed to do the DNA test." I said looking at every one of them.

Catherine breath out air. Like she was holding her breath. I smiled slowly.

"The next thing I want to say is, I went in to try to get a blood sample of my father. It turns out he has no death records."

Gasped filled the room. Tears filled my eyes. It doesn't seem real to me. I still can't believe it myself.

"So what you trying to say? Our father might be alive.?" Lil C asked me.

"Duh Lil C that what it mean when somebody don't have any death records."

"You didn't have to get smart, all I was saying was, was it true."

I was about to say something else to him.

When I heard "Don't start you two." From everybody else in the room. Except Lil C and I.

"Where could that man be?" Catherine said.

"Girl it will take God him self to come down and tell us." Miss Kayla said.

"So when can we take the DNA test?" Catherine asked me.

"We can go see if we can take it right now. If you want." I stood up and walk over to her.

She smiled, "Okay lets go."

We all walked out my mother hospital room and to the front desk.
"Excuse me."

The lady was reading a book. Acting like she didn't heard me. So I said it again.

"Excuse me ma'am!" I said a little louder.

She looked at me with an attitude. Chewing bubble gum like she never ate a day in her life. Okay see she is really pushing it.

"Yes, how may I help you?" She said blowing a bubble in my face.

I popped it, then grab some hand sanitizer to wash my hands off. She continued to chew her bubble gum. Nasty ass bitch. Now what if I been scratching my ass and didn't wash my hands?

"Yes I was wondering how do I go by getting an DNA test done?"

She looked at me shocked, then started smirking.

"Take your ass to the Maury show. That man is not about to take care no baby, that's not his boo boo." She said laughing in my face.

I don't know what came over me, but I punch that bitch straight in her mouth. I told y'all she been pushing me. She push me to damn far.

Kenny came and pull me back, as security walked up.

"Whats going on up here Jackie?" The security man asked the front desk lady.

"That stupid bitch, punch me in my lip!" She screamed. Her shit been leaking too.

"That what your ass get. I should have done more then that. You stupid ass bitch." I said trying to break free from Kenny.

People was staring around with they phone, recording. Like I give a fuck. Hell no. My ass heated.

Bitches always trying me. We in a damn hospital for God sake. Shit!

"Ma'am I'm going to ask you to leave." The security man said to me.

Catherine stepped up to the man.

"Excuse me sir. What went down just now wasn't her fault." She pointed at me. "Miss Jackie started the whole thing. She first blowed a bubble in Christi- I meant Sky face, then she had the nerves to say some shit, I mean stuff that was inappropriate. So I don't blame Sky for popping her in her mouth. All we ask was how do we go by getting a DNA test done."

"Follow me." The security man said.
We all followed behind him. I was still fuming mad.

We all went to the floor where they take DNA tests.

"Hello my name is Catherine Nelson. I want to take an DNA with Skylar Peterson. I want to know if she's my biological daughter." Catherine said to the lady.

The lady looked at me and then at Catherine.

"If you need a DNA to prove that, then you are blind. You both look exactly alike. Do you need a mirror?" The lady ask us.

We both shook our head no.

I just want a damn DNA test. I'm trying to be in denial here. So can I be?

"Okay well I'm going to need you two to follow me." She said getting up from her chair.

Catherine and I followed her in the back where we was placed in a room.

"Okay I'm going to take saliva from both of you guys mouth and sample it and you will get a letter in the mail in two days."

After that was done, we all left the hospital and went out to eat.

In the back of my mind I was still thinking about my father. Where is he?
