The moon. Stars. Garden. Nothing but utter silence.

The mood on this fine summer's night is calm for an evening such as this. Guests are tightly packed into the manor just above, busily chattering away like birds at a pet shop. The oddly comforting scent of wine will soon be infused into their clothing as a memory of such a momentous occasion.

The master of this estate was quite a bit of a hermit, withdrawn due his Anthropophobia. At least, that is what the people of the nearest town thought. The truth is that the master is not quite right in the head. He is afraid of himself, and shuts everyone out to protect his friends, family, and even his Pokémon.

Only I, the groundskeeper, have knowledge of his situation. I've known the boy since he was very young. He was rowdy, loud, and somewhat obnoxious, yet in a likeable way. Later on in his life he changed. He'd lost hope in humanity and he turned from loving to hating, and didn't take orders from anyone. The master then got into a horrific accident that left him responsible for the deaths of several hundred people who followed him, and that nearly killed the man himself. After being released from prison he talked to nobody, roamed around the manor alone, and turned quiet. Almost too much so.

And after three years of no communication, the master finally opened up again. He hosted a large gathering and invited seemingly everyone he ever knew. He finally met up with his former lover, who doesn't seem to want to talk to him very much. He met up with two young people by the name of Serena and Calem, two lovely women- Diantha and Malva- who joked around with him, and Grace- a mother, I'll have you know, among others from different regions.

I'm proud of the master, for coming out of his shell. But despite the fact he invited people I don't think his fears will ever disappear.
