"Let me go you barbarian!" Ezra yelled as she struggled to get out of the grip that was Sasuke. He had her in a head lock, ruffling her hair with his knuckles. Hinata stood by watching the scene unfold as she held her laughter inside. Soon enough she couldn't hold it any longer and began laughing as hard as she could.

"Say what you said earlier chump!" Sasuke replies as he continues to dig his knuckles into her scalp.

"Fuck off!" She yells as she hits him in his ribs. Sasuke grunted in pain before letting her go. Ezra pushed him and slammed the locker shut before taking Hinata by the wrist and storming away.

"He's such a jerk!" She says letting go of Hinata and moving to fix her hair that he messed up. "Does he know how long this takes to do?"

Hinata finally came down from her giggles and wiped at her eyes. "It's kinda funny."

"No it isnt!" Ezra snapped as she finally fixed her hair. She adjusted her clothes and backpack before stuffing her hands in the pockets of her sweater. "I could've been strangled to death. He's got a good grip."

"Stronger than Kiba's ?" Hinata asked. She watched as Ezra became flustered.

"I-I wouldn't know that!" She says. Hinata laughed. "God, you're an asshole Hina."

"I'm sorry you left yourself open for that." Hinata replies.

The bell ranged and the two girls seperated heading to class. Hinata walked inside to see Naruto sitting at his desk, with Kiba sitting in front of him turned towards his desk. They talked, a small smile playing at the blonde's lips. Hinata admired his smile. Even if it was a small one. She knew it was special. Naruto hardly ever smiled. He always looked like he was ready to kick anybody's ass who challenged him.

Hinata walked to her seat and sat down. She pulled out her phone and sent a text message to The group chat.

Hinata giggled loudly and tucked her phone back in her pocket as soon as their teacher walked in. Kiba quickly got up from the seat he was in and walked over to his own seat a  few desks behind Hinata.

Hinata sat in class trying to consentrate on the lecture, but her mind traveled to Naruto. Turning her head to get a glance. She spotted him with an earbud in his ear, staring out of the window he wore a snapback hat on his head of the San Francisco 49ers and a white tshirt. Denim jeans on his lower half with burgandy colored Vans on his feet.

He looked so deep in thought. Was something bothering him? Hinata only wished she had the courage as all her other friends to talk to guys so casually. Like Kauri with Choji and Ezra with Sasuke or Lee. Tenten with Lee and the list goes on. Hinata only speaks to guys when they speak to her. She's never fully been in a relationship that actually counted as a relationship.

To her, middle school relationships didn't count. You were young and dumb and barely getting your feet wet when it came to hormones and people of the opposite sex. Highschool, theres something more serious. More deeper. You're in control of your feelings and you're more prone to get heart broken. At least that's how Hinata looked at it.

Before she knew it she'd spent her entire period looking at Naruto. The bell ranged loudly and she gathered her things before heading out of the class. She walked out to see Ezra's eyes following after Kiba as he walked by with Shino.

"It's not polite to stare you know." She giggles. Just then Naruto walked past and Hinata watched him as he strolled by. Ezra nudged her.

"You're right, it's not polite to stare at all." She says. The two girls made their way to their next class. Their class went by rather quickly and before they knew it, it was lunch.

Naruto trudged through the halls. It was after school and he was on his way to his baseball practice.

He stuffed his hands in his pockets and took in a breath. Today was actually a chill day for him. He didn't have to argue with anyone, nor did he have to punch someone in he face. He was content with that.

He hummed lowly to a song that played in his earbuds. He looked down at his feet as he walked.

Soon he felt himself crash into something and he stumbled back. He realizes it was a girl and quickly caught her before she fell.

They looked up at eachother and Naruto's world stood still. She was beautiful. Her long midnight blue hair, those lavender irises. Her porcelain skin. Dainty nose and cute lips. Naruto was in awe. His mouth slightly hung ajar. When he finally became aware of the situation. Embarrassment rose to his cheeks.

"O-Oh! I'm-Im sorry." He stutters. "I-I wasn't watching where I was going." He pulled her up, the both of them gathering their footing.

"I-It's okay." She says. She looks down at the scattered papers. Naruto followed her gaze and grunted.

"Shit, I'm really sorry." He kneels down at the same time she does. He reached for the papers at the same time she did. Hands brushing against eachother, they paused before meeting eachother's gaze again. Naruto felt his cheeks flush and he quickly looked down at the papers before gathering them up. The two stood, Naruto handed her the papers. She tucked her hair behind her ear before taking them from him. She looked back up into his clear blue eyes and she smiled before looking elsewhere.

"Where were you heading?" He asked her.

"T-The Li-library." She answers.

"Mind if I walk with you?" He asks rubbing the back of his neck.

"N-No I don't mind at all." She replies.

He smiled at her, before stepping aside and granting her the right to pass. She stepped and he stepped im stride with her. He again stuffed his hands in his pockets.

"So uh, What's your name?" He asks.

"We have classes together and you don't know my name?" Hinata furrowed her eyebrows together.

"I'm sorry, I'm a jerk." He again scratches his head. "I-I'm Naru-"

"Naruto, I know." Hinata says. "Hinata; my name is Hinata."

"Hinata." Naruto speaks her name as if he's trying to remember it.

They walked in stride with one another. The clumps of their feet meeting the linoleum flooring.

"I'm sorry for my friend." Hinata says. "T-The other day. She said soms things that wasn't really nice. She's not usually like that."

"Heh, what's a nice girl like you doing with a friend like that?" He asked. "She kinda pissed me off but I'm over it now, no need to apologize to me in her defense. I don't care."

Hinata hummed a sigh.

"So uh, what are you going to the library for?" He asked trying to keep conversation going.

"We're helping another friend bring her grade up in English." Hinata replies. "So she won't be benched for the season. Whatever that means."

Naruto slightly snorted at the girl's honesty. Most girls would lie about their sports terminology. But even though she said the word, she admitted that shs had no idea what it was.

"Good luck." Naruto says with a chuckle.

"Were you headed to baseball practice?" Hinata asks as her cheeks flush.

"Yeah actually." He answers. He almost forgot.

"You should get going or you'll be late." She tells him once they reach the library. She turned to him And pursed her lips together into smile. "Thank you for walking me Naruto."

"It's the least I could do after being a clumsy jerk." He says.

"Clumsy maybe; but definitely not a jerk." Hinata smiles again, before pushing the door to the library open and walking inside. Naruto stared at the door she went through. A small smile plastered on his face.

Hinata... He thought. He heard a whistle in the distance knocking him out of his trance.

"Shit." He muttered before taking off running.
