Chapter 18

"(Y/n)?" Hyuk wasn't smiling anymore. N and Ravi let go of you completely.

"What the fuck are you doing here?" Hyuk tugged Ravi to the side of him so he was standing infront of you.

"Is there a problem?" You acted natural infront of Hyuk. He looked completely sober meaning everything he will do will be in his right state of mind. He looked down at you with a serious look on his face.

"I didn't think you were the type to hang around places like this?" He accurately questioned.

"Well maybe I am. What's it to you?"

Hyuk shrugged and looked back up to his supposedly known a friends Ravi and N. "What were you doing?"

"Nothing. Just having some fun." N and Ravi agreed.

Hyuk glared at you, "Fun, (y/n)? Do you know what fun is to them? You were having fun with them?"

"That's not something you need to know or not! Plus, didn't you have 'fun' with another girl like five minutes ago?!"

"That's my fun okay but it's not yours."

"So you fucking did. You're actually so disgusting and you're never going to change!"

"Think what you want." he started to turn his back on you. You turned him around before he started to leave.

"I don't get you! One day you want to fuck me, next day you tell me to fuck off, next day you beg me to have a mature conversation with you, next day you're fucking other girls-"

"Ok, let's not do this here..." Hyuk looked and smiled at others as you were making a scene catching attention.

"Don't even try this cycle again with me, fuck boy-" Hyuk grabbed your hand and pulled you through the crowd until you were both outside, it was a bit quieter.

He let go of your hand and sighed with anoyance in his face. "You want to carry on embarrassing me? Go on."

"What the fuck is your problem? Can't you just leave me alone?" You were on the urge of crying.

"Leave you alone? You leave ME alone. You the one who's stalking me and following me to this party."

"I was invited thank you, I don't fucking need you Hyuk! Not all the girls die over you!"

"No girl dies over me, please think before you talk."

"Well you break all their hearts!"

"Not necessarily. There's this thing nowadays called 'hook-ups'. Not everyone is virgin freak like you."

"Well you're the reason I'm not a virgin anymore. Does that mean I should fucking have hook-ups too?!"

"Okay can we just calm down. A party is not the place to do this..."

"Hyuk, you're the one who doesn't let me get over you, just stop."

"So you're still not over me? Tell me you've been thinking of me." Hyuk spoke softer this time.

"Don't talk to me. This conversation is over." you walked away quickly before you said something you didn't want to. You couldn't believe you nearly exposed the fact that you were still in love with him.

You went back inside the blasting house to find yourself in the kitchen. Hyuk followed you to see that you had already grabbed a bottle of alcohol. You started drinking forgetting how strong the taste was. You scrunched your eyes and held your head. Hyuk scoffed and shook his head knowing you couldn't take much. You pushed past him still holding the drink and started to dance in the living room with others.

Hyuk kept his eye on you, analysing what your behaviour. You kept downing the drink in order to forget the conversation you just had. You started to feel a little tipsy and on edge. You forgot what was happening and started to dance amongst random people.

"Stop taking up all the space!" a random girl shouted at you as you were in your own world.

Hyuk smoothly grabbed your hand once again, "Sorry, she's with me."

"I'm not with him!" You pulled you hand away.

Hyuk snatched your hand again not caring if you tried to resist. He pulled you until you were both behind the staircase.
You stayed silent as your mind was muffled and you had no words to throw at him at the moment. Your cheeks were flushed and you looked at him in the eye. His eyes didn't shift from yours either, instead he just came closer and closer until your back was pressed against the wall with Hyuk towering you. He brushed the stray hair strands out of your face and stroked your heated cheeks. That soft moment was over and his lips fell a few cm away from your ears.

"I just can't stay away from you, now can I?" he breathed against your ear leaving you too sensitive to react.

"Hyuk... Do you miss me?" the question left your lips as you really wanted to know as to whether he did or not.

"Are you drunk?" He asked before answering. You nodded your head. Hyuk pressed his lips against yours, slipping his tongue into your mouth deepening the kiss. You didn't think too much, you just knew you missed him to you lips decided to move against his own.

"Have you gotten over me (Y/n)?" Hyuk said moving his head away to look at you in the eyes.

You shook your head to continue, "I loved you Hyuk."

"Loved me?" Hyuk started laughing. "And now?"

"I...still do..."

"Well that's pretty stupid of you."

"You're right. I need to detach from what destroys me." You hit his chest lightly indicating it was him you were obviously referring to.

"Exactly. We can't be together."

"Why?"

"I can't make you happy."Hyuk was very serious, he wasn't even jokingly answering you, the fact that you were drunk helped him to be a little bit more honest too. He looked down, repeating to himself," I can't make you happy, I can't."

"and you snogged other girls whilst you were with me!"

"I kiss girls, is that a problem?" changed his tone again.

"I shouldn't forgive you! You make my heart hurt. You made me cry!"

"Well I'm sorry I'm such an asshole." Hyuk blandly said, being unclear whether he actually meant it or not this time. Probably not. He probably would do the same thing to the next girl he dated.

"and you know what hurt me the most, you used my body and feelings as a bet to win amongst your friends which I held carefully for the man I loved."

"Stop talking about love. Its so annoying, it doesn't exist dear. And ask me if a give a shit."

"Let me ask you this!" you stood up from the wall and pulled him down slightly,
"Did you ever love me?"
