Shadow- Alright heres the first chapter sorry it took awhile to make, enjoy!

A cat laid in the shadows of his cage, his light-blue eyes focused on a human who opened a cage accross from him and grabed another cat who thrashed and tried to escape. The human carried the cat away into another room, never to be seen again.

The cat sat in his cage his light-blue eyes drooping, he shook his head trying to stay awake. Eventually sleep overtook him and his eyes closed then he fell asleep.

Later he awoke to a human opening his cage, he hissed as the hand came into his cage and grabed his orange fur. The cat thrashed and dug his claws into the humans black rubbery hand. The human didn't seem to do anything about it though as he carried the cat into the next room.

The human strapped the cat to a metal table, the cat struggled to break free, but then the cat felt a pinch on his thigh as the human ingected him with some kind of liquid. The cat's eyes drooped suddenly feeling tired and he passed out.

When the cat awoke again he heard voices, his eyesight blurry with sleep, and his body feeling heaver than normal, he blinked clearing the blurryness from his eyes, he spotted a group of humans with white pelts talking to eachother, the cat realised he could understand them!

"So we call him FX-9?" One of the humans said while writing something on a clipbored "What does FX-9 mean again?" Another human asked "This is progect FX and the '9' means the ninth one we tested" Another human answered "lets just see if he survives now" the first human muttered "lets get back to work" the 3rd human said while turning around.

By this time the cat broke free of the loosened straps and was about to jump off of the table when the human turned around. "Get him!" The human exclamed pointing at the cat. The cat jumped off of the table and ran to the door which convenetly opened, the cat dodged under the humans legs and into the room with the cages. "Don't let him escape!" One of the humans yelled running after the cat with a few other humans behind him.

"What happened to him!?" "Get us out of here!" "Eww! What did they do to him!?" "How did you escape!?" Many voices of the caged animals asked as the cat ran through the hallway, the cat shook his head "Why can't I remember anything!?" He asked himself as he ran. A pair of doors were up ahead the cat tried to stop but he crashed into the door busting a hole in it "Didn't know I could do that" he muttered as he shook himself off and looked behind his shoulder to see the humans right behind him.

The cat ran out though the hole, he kept on running toward the tall structures in the distance. His claws scraped against the stone ground as he darted off towared the city.

Once he entered the city he felt raindrops falling on his head which quickly started to come down harder. He quickly ran off into the nearest allyway and found an overturned trashcan to take cover in.

He sighed and looked up at the darkening sky, the raindrops splashing onto the ground and the trashcan that he sheltered in. The raindrop's thuds against the trashcan echoed, the cat flatened his ears against the noise and fell asleep.
