I screamed in pain as power fueled my body. The injections pumping through my veins as I felt myself become taller, powerful, and angry as hell. Muscles and tendons appeared on me as the skin and muscles around my stomach hardened.

Hungry. I felt hungry.

A roar erupted from my body, one that could be compared to a monstrous beast. I didn't hesitate to charge at my fallen comrade, pinning him to the ground before punching him mercilessly. He kicked me off, throwing me to the wall which I indented. I didn't feel anything though. All I saw was red as the monster in front of me screeched and charged at me.

I jumped to the side and wrapped my arm around his neck. He bent down and bit my arm and I grunted as I push him away. I charge with my shoulder in front, pushing him to the wall. He grabbed my head and smashed it into the wall, indenting it further. He smashed it in the wall 3 times before I roundhouse kicked him. He stumbled to the side as I kneed his stomach a few times. Furland grabbed onto my hair and swung me around before throwing me at the wall again. He kicked my face and was about to aim for my stomach before I grabbed his ankle and pushed him off of me. I shook my head and quickly got up at the sight of him running towards me. His nails were expanding and I knew that I couldn't let him pierce me.

I dodged him before lunging at him once more. We grabbed hands and started to push each other, one occasionally overpowering the other. With a kick to the knee, he was momentarily distracted. I kicked even harder, bending his knee to an inhuman position and he fell to the ground with a screech. I held his hair as I punched him with the other hand until his sharp teeth cracked. Then I grabbed his torso and bent back, wrestling him to the ground until I overpowered him. I clawed my nails into his neck before pulling him up. I slammed his head into the ground as he squirmed and kicked his feet, trying to get out of my hold. He screeched as I felt his skin break and his neck getting loose.

I knew he was getting weaker and weaker.

I wanted to stop.

I wanted to let him go and help him.

But this monster blocked my morality. I felt my eyes dilate and my muscles cramping. The urge of hunger overfilled my being as I felt my sight becoming blurry. Furland's neck seemed to be vulnerable and I felt as if I were a predator about to take my first kill. I opened wide and bit out a chunk of his neck, to point where it was hanging by threads. I refused to chew and swallow it though, so I spit it out to the side.

Furland was confirmed dead. His eyes were wide with fear and his mouth in a silent, open scream. I patted my hand on his cheek before closing his eyes and mouth. I wiped my mouth that was dripping with blood. The taste of iron satisfied the monster for a little bit somehow.

As I was distracted I didn't notice Annie bite Eren's nape, prompting him to fall limp onto the floor. Annie then screeched and charged towards me. I didn't have enough time to react before she threw a flying kick at me, knocking me backward. I growled as she pinned me to the ground and expertly moved herself to hold me in a chokehold with her legs. I clawed at her screaming in frustration before I bit her leg, aiming to tear a chunk off of the skin right above her ankle. She screeched and punched my head to try to make me let go of her leg. I finally tore off a huge piece of her leg and her grip on me loosened. I quickly got up and kicked her backward when she tried to get up. She clawed and pulled my hair as I did the same. We struggled and struggled when she screeched out in pain. She fell forwards, clutching her side as Levi stood behind her breathing heavily. He grunted in pain and fell onto his knees, clutching his bleeding neck.

The loud thud snapped me out of my trance and at that moment I noticed the damage I had done.

I was horrified.

I felt horrified by the fact that I was satisfied with the sight in front of me. I could see that Levi was in pain and I could clearly make out the pure fear in his eyes.

I croaked out and reached for him until I hesitated.

How could he love me now?

He just witnessed the woman he has a child with ruthlessly murdering his once closest friend and a cadet.

I felt my cheeks become wet with tears that crystalized over my skin. Sobs filled my body and I felt like I was suffocating. The monster subsided for a bit as I choked on the leftover blood in my mouth.

"I'm...sorry...!" A hoarse, distorted voice erupted from my throat. I curled over feeling sick, almost vomiting on the ground.

I am the weird child I didn't believe to be true.

I am the sick child that wasn't meant to be born.

I am the cursed child that caused people pain.

I am a monster.

A sudden hug brought me back to reality and I felt my heart beat at the scent of the person. My heart would always know who it is. My eyes trailed up to meet steel grey eyes that gazed at me as bloodied, scarred hands delicately held my face.

"Come back to me, Y/n."

He touched his forehead with mine, making me feel at ease. The beast in me no longer felt angry and slowly receded inside my body. I closed my eyes as I felt my skin go back to normal and the muscles deteriorate as if I was shedding new skin. My breath was shaky as we opened our eyes to look at each other. His eyes shined brightly in my darkest moments. We were bloodied, bruised, and exhausted and yet when he held me in his arms I felt like I was flying.

"Is this what it feels like?" I breathlessly whispered.

"To be in love?" He whispered back.

"It's so..." I felt like smiling.

"Unrealistic." We said together. My hands rose to cup his cheeks and I caressed his face as if I was trying to see if he was real. I chuckled softly at my hysteria and leaned forward. He leaned forward as well, holding me as if I were going to disappear if he let go.

"I love you, Levi," I whispered, my eyes closing.

"I love you-" He was cut off by the sound of a dagger piercing skin. My eyes shot open as I witnessed the look on his face. Blood spluttered out of his mouth onto the floor as his beautiful eyes were wide.

Horrified, I watched as he fell forwards into my lap as Annie stood behind him, the dagger he used in her hands. She was no longer in titan form, but her wounds were fatal.

It felt like everything was in slow motion as the door to the room burst open with men in black suits and helmets. Flashlights on guns roamed the area and instantly aimed at the last standing titan.

"Survey Corps Containment Team! Hands in the air where we can see them!" A muffled voice shouted. Annie merely turned around with a smile. She was instantly shot down by one of the people in the group mercilessly.

I watched her fall to the ground onto her side, blood pouring out of the bullet wounds. It sizzled as she twitched and became still. The person slipped their helmet off and threw it to the side.

"Tend to the wounded! Call the emergency team! Get these titans out of here and back to HQ for further examination!" Erwin commanded after throwing his helmet to the side. Hanji slipped past everyone and instantly screamed upon seeing me.

"Y/n! Levi!"

Erwin and Hanji immediately came to my side.

"Y/n? Y/n?! Come on, sweetie! Wake up, snap out of it!" Hanji lightly slapped my cheek and shook me. Upon coming back to reality I burst out crying.

"H-Hanji...?" I cried out.

"Oh, sweetie! I'm sorry we didn't come in sooner!" Hanji cried, pulling me into a tight hug.

"L-Levi..." I sobbed as I felt Erwin pull him from my lap. I started to get hysterical.

"Levi?! Levi!"

"Someone get him a medic! Get them out of here right now!" Erwin yelled, people instantly came in and slipped Levi onto their shoulders.

I tried to get out of Hanji's grasp, reaching out to Levi's limp body.

"Let me go! I need to be with him! Levi!" I hysterically cried. I pushed Hanji and scrambled to follow the men. Erwin appeared and held me by the waist when I got out of Hanji's grasp.

"No! I need to be with him!" I repeated, weakly punching Erwin's arms.

"I'm sorry, Y/n..." Erwin whispered, holding me tighter. I got one last glimpse of Levi's face as they turned the corner and with desperate hands, I reached out for him.

"LEVI!"
