Boom

A sudden force of power hit all of us and we flew in different directions of the room. I felt the air push out of my lungs as I hit a car door. I landed in a fetal position as I still tried to process what was happening.

Someone threw a flashbang.

My head lifted up weakly to see a titan.

A female titan.

The same one that shot Armin. My fists clench at the sudden memory. I tried to get up with great effort. My arms were shaking and I felt a huge pain in my back. I shakily get up and with other hand holding onto my side where I felt a bruise start to form. I went to grab my gun.

Only to feel air.

"Sh(itaki mushrooms)," I muttered as I realized that I didn't bring my weapons down here. They were still in the car. I look around to see some people engaging in combat with the female titan. She was dodging everyone swiftly and sometimes throwing them against the wall. Some hit the wall so hard that they were squashed. I saw Erwin getting up and spewing out commands left and right. I felt someone give me their shoulder and look to my side to see Petra. She had a little bit of dirt on her face but either than that, she looked alright.

"Are you okay???" Petra asked and I nodded. My vision was slightly blurry from the flashbang but I could see almost everything. She guided me towards the side where Levi was holding Eren. Eren looked up at the female titan and I could see his anger flare in his eyes. He pushed Levi away and was about to bite his finger before I stopped him.

"Eren, they're looking for you," I say, still trying to catch my breath.

"I know! So they're gonna get me. In full force too!" He said with determination. Levi looked at the female titan and spoke. By this time, the rest of the Special Operations Squad appeared next to us.

"Do you not trust us?" Eren stopped and looked at Levi in confusion.

"What?"

"Do you not trust us?" Levi asked again.

"Of course I trust you guys."

"Then let us handle it. Unless you want to show us how you really feel about the Survey Corps." Eren looked at him and glanced back at his finger. Eren put down his hand and looked at the female titan in anger. Levi nodded and looked at the female titan as well.

"Let Erwin handle it."

As he said that, the female titan was led outside of the room. Directly out of this room was the underground. A forest with thick, tall trees were growing here. They were special kind of trees that didn't require sunlight to grow. As she was being led outside everyone in the room quickly went into action and positioned themselves into formations. Erwin was throwing out command after command as people rushed to get into position to capture the female. As she was being led further, wires shot from multiple trees. They grasped onto the female titan and she instantly covered her nape. I noticed her quick action to cover it and took a mental note to ask about it later.

"We made sure to make arrangements in case of a situation like this Captain," Petra told me and I nodded.

"The wires will hold her down so that we can have time to find out her identity. If she's familiar she will face harsh consequences and questioning. If not, it will still be the same." Petra continued and I hummed in response. I let go of her once I felt like I was stable. Erwin wobbled over to us with people following after him.

"Are you okay?" Erwin asked all of us and we nodded. He then looked directly at me.

"I apologize for not telling you sooner, I just wanted you to have a nice day with no worries for once," Erwin said with sincerity clear in his voice. I shrugged.

"It's okay, it was fun while it lasted. Hopefully, we will get good results from this." I brushed it off.

It was not okay.

I asked for one day. One day to let our times last. But life wants to beat me down right when I could finally see happiness. I shake my head and inhaled deeply to calm myself. I looked back up at the female titan to notice something odd. I peered closer at her to see her completely still, her eyes were closed, and smoke was emitting from her body. The smoke got thicker and thicker until we couldn't see anything. The smoke got stronger and stronger, pushing us away from each other. I landed against a tree and coughed from inhaling it. I covered my nose with my shirt because the smoke was so thick.

"F(lick). Levi! Eren! Where are you guys?!" I called out. Multiple people started to call out for their friends and I heard coughing from all around me. I could hear some people calling out then going silent. Something was wrong. I started to panic at the thought of something bad happening to my friends. I called out once more.

"Guys!"

"(Y/n)?!" I heard a faint voice from my right. Levi.

"Levi!" As soon as I yelled his name out another person was calling out his name. It was a softer tone, feminine, and higher pitched. Petra.

"Petra?!" I called out to her but I heard nothing. I heard her constantly call out Levi's name. I started to walk towards to where I thought she was.

"Levi! Captain! Where are you?! Levi!!" She was screaming at this point. I thought I heard her fighting something. I started to run to where she was. She seemed to be running around or doing something. I heard her grunting and heavy breathing.

"Slice her arms off!" She yelled. Did they have their gear?

"Levi!! Capta-" Her voice was cut off as I heard something impact another object. My breathing hitched as I thought of the worst possible thing. I ran faster, letting go of my shirt and letting it fall back into place. I was now inhaling the smoke as I ran faster and faster.

'Please...no. Don't let it be what I think it is...'

I ran further and further until I tripped over something.

"Oof!" My breath left my lungs as I landed on my stomach. I pushed myself up and looked back in confusion. The smoke cleared slightly from my landing, giving me a clear sight of what tripped me.

My eyes widen in horror as shock engulfed my body. I froze as I stared at the lifeless body of Petra. She was squashed up against a tree. Her mouth was open in mid-scream with her eyes wide open. Blood poured out constantly from her mouth and wound. Her torso was bent in an unnatural way to the point of her bones showing, ripped out of their sockets and bent. Her skin was teared up, blood dripping from almost every part of her body. Her blood was splattered on the dirt and trees around her. She was limp, not moving or breathing.

'I was too late...'

I couldn't even scream or cry. I could only sit there and stare at her body. I flashbacked to earlier when we were perfectly fine and nothing was wrong.

The smoke had cleared up by the time Eren found me.

"(Y/n)!" He yelled my name in relief. He ran towards me but slowed down as he saw what I was staring at. His eyes widen in horror as he stopped right next to me. He slumped down to his knees still staring at her body.

"AAAAAUUUUUGGGHHHH!!" He screamed out in agony. Eren started to cry and pound at the dirt. After awhile, he grabbed my hand and pulled me up to my feet. I didn't say anything and let him move me.

I was numb.

Just losing a possible best friend on the day I was born.

I lowered my head and let Eren drag me to somewhere. I saw someone's foot pass by and I glanced at it to see Oluo dead. My heart broke more as Eren took deep breaths and blink his tears away. Then I saw everyone in the Special Operations Squad.

Dead.

Bloody.

Positioned in uncomfortable ways.

I felt tears well up but I blinked them away and tried to look away. I saw Eren look back at the bodies and let go of me.

"I...I will...I WILL KILL IT!" He bit his finger before I could do anything and his burst of power pushed me back. I landed on the cool dirt on my side with the bruise. I gasped in pain and held my hand against the bruise gently. I look back up to see Eren in his titan form. He yelled out a roar that shook the trees. I covered my ear and winced at how loud he was. He ran towards the female titan, his eyes glowing a bright green. I look back to see her all cut up and one eye smoking. I put everything together and gasped again in shock.

She transformed again. She escaped the wires, blending in with the chaos, and then fought the Special Operations squad.

Eren tried to land a punch on her but she dodged and kicked him in the stomach. He grunted but kicked her away against a tree. Her eye narrowed as he body kept smoking. Eren - breathing quite heavily - threw punch after punch but she kept dodging. The floor shook from their footsteps and the female titan stumbled down. Eren instantly straddled her to pin her down and got ready for a punch. She moved her head before it could hit her and his bone cracked out from his skin because of the force of the punch and the ground. His eyes were gleaming in pure anger and with another roar he punched with the other arm, not even glancing at his damaged one. She dodged again and I was starting to get frustrated at her constant moving. I then had an idea...a messed up idea. I inhaled and struggled to get up while watching their fight. His wrist was now broken on the other hand. His arms were smoking from the damage and he roared in her face. He started to twitch uncontrollably and it seemed like he was saying something...

"I'll rip...your f(lipping) eyes out...I'll...DEVOUR YOU!" Suddenly, she used some sort of move to get out of his grasp. Her other eye was now healed and open. Eren landed against a tree but quickly recovered and tried to punch her. But she rolled away and stumbled against a tree. Eren took this chance to try to punch her once again and they both got into fighting stances. He threw punch after punch while she dodged and they were both moving farther away from me. Her eyes got a little annoyed and she moved quickly. She crystallized her arm and punched Eren in the jaw. But her eyes widen when Eren slid up her arm and uppercutted her. She flew against a tree and he almost kneed her face until she dodged. Eren looked at her, jaw broken, and wide eyes.

Then...his head was off. Revealing an emotionless Eren. I then witnessed the most horrifying thing.

She ate him.

At this point, I was done putting on the bloody gear from Petra's body. My breathing was irregular as I stared in shock at the female titan's form running away.

"No...don't go..." I whispered out. I then felt a power surge through me. Something that made me feel numb to the mental and physical pain. I felt my eyes narrow as I ignored the bruise on my side and Petra's blood seeping into my clothes.

I was no longer (y/n).

I was now, Rose.

I posted a chapter.

I know, I know. It's been like almost a month my doods. I wasn't feeling very well and personal problems have been creeping up on me. School has started as well which means my busy schedule has started. Lots of things were going on - Excuses. Excuses. Excuses. More Excuses. Excuses. Blah. Blah. Blah. - and that's why I was gone. But I'm back in business and I have been motivating myself to write more for my lovely readers.

I'm super surprised. After a couple weeks of not opening Wattpad, I found out that this book has gotten really popular! 60K reads. Holy shi(ppu) I am so surprised and happy for all the support. I'm not a professional writer nor do I want to be one since this is just a hobby of mine but I am really amazed at how much you guys love this book.

Just so you guys know. I do read every comment and I also reply to the first couple comments on every chapter. I just love reading all the support you boios give me and I do read the ones that are very descriptive about how much they love this book. I thank you all so much. I can't get sappy now since this book is a long way from being over. I still have to finish season one, two, and possibly three!

So, (y/n) finally snapped and this time it's almost her god mode. Maybe she'll be a little more powerful and merciless this time. But after witnessing all of her comrades' deaths, who wouldn't snap. She's starting to feel numb since she doesn't know how to cope with all of the pain in one day. This is almost as bad as the day she was disowned by her mother, maybe even worse since it is her birthday.

Not much Levi action in this one but maybe in the next one... ;>

Petra is dead. You're welcome to all of her "fans." I even put her with her tree for all you Petra x Tree shippers. (Yeah, I see you guys. I granted your wish hope you're happy)

Special Operations Squad is now dead, what will become of the rest of the members?
