When I suffer, I suffer quietly.

When I'm in pain, I don't like to tell anyone.

I'd rather have it on my shoulders instead of being a burden to those around me. I didn't like the thought of them caring for me because it made me feel weak. It made me feel helpless.

It made me feel like that weak little girl from my past.

But it felt comforting. To know that you have a cushion there to break your fall. To know that you have someone to bring you up when you're down. To know that you have someone who has your back.

I woke up from a nightmare to be in my bed. A killer headache greeted me good morning. I groaned quietly and held my head as I sat up slowly. It seemed to be dawn with sunlight streaming in from the slightly open window next to my bed. The curtains swayed in the wind and I was slightly entranced by it. I felt a dip on the edge of the bed and I look over. My breathing hitched and I forgot how to breathe for a couple minutes.

Levi was sleeping soundly on the edge of the bed with bandages in one hand and the other holding my hand. The hand holding bandages acted as a pillow for his head while he was in a sitting position. He woke up from the sudden movement and sat up to yawn and rub his eyes.

'...so cute...' I thought as he rubbed his eye with one hand.

"Can you stop staring at me with that look in your eyes? It makes you look like a stalker." He ruined the peaceful moment. I gave him a deadpanned look and lifted my head to stare at the ceiling.

"Can you get me some Tylenol?" I ask and he leans over to the bedside drawer. He handed me a couple of Tylenol pills and a glass of water to which I gratefully gulped down.

"Get ready and I'll meet you at Erwin's office." He commanded and I rolled my eyes but got up. He left the room and I went to the closet. I put my hair up out of my face and I changed into the regular uniform. I grabbed my things and reluctantly went down to Erwin's office.

"So what made you snap?" Erwin asked right when I got in. I ignored him for a bit and sat on the couch. Mikasa came over with bandages and I rolled up my pant leg so she could change the bandages.

"Great to see you too Erwin. He just said some things about wanting me to join the Titans and then escaping when I declined. He got all triggered or something like that." I gave Armin a nod of thanks when he came over with a cup of tea.

"Still doesn't explain why you brutally murdered and butchered the Titan," Erwin said. Mikasa finished my leg and rolled my pant leg down and proceeded to sit next to me.

"Thanks. I just thought of all the deaths he caused and decided that I would avenge their deaths." I said. Erwin gave me a look but dropped the subject.

"Anyways, I have a new mission for you. A partner mission in fact." My ears perked up and I raised an eyebrow at Erwin.

"Levi and (y/n), your mission is to stop a transaction between some racers. What the racers have is a dangerous car that is very advanced in technology. It has a bomb embedded in it so be careful. I'll send you an email of what we gathered about the car before you leave. Your mission is located in Salvador, Brazil where you will go undercover as racers and win that car. You will bring it back here where we will destroy the car before it could cause damage." Erwin briefly explained it. Levi and I got a notification for an email and we glanced at it before looking back up.

"The race is this Friday night, I would get packing if I were you," Erwin said and dismissed us. It was Wednesday so we had a couple days to get there. Mikasa, Armin, and Eren saluted before leaving while Levi and I quickly left. We went through the back and stole an unused car to get back home to my apartment.

Once we arrived I grabbed a duffle bag and stuffed some clothes and weapons into it. I got everything I needed and sat in the living room to wait for Levi. I opened up the email and started to read what was so special about this car besides the bomb.

Notes: The A.I seems to be...emotional. It seems to have some human traits that are not seen often in robots. "Lykan" is the core of the car and controls everything in it.

I blink at the beautiful sports car in front of me. I almost threw my phone when I realized that it was a fu(nny) Lykan Hypersports. 7 were made but only 3 were sold. I was about to pass out when I realized we were destroying a super rare car.

"HOLY SHI(ET) LEVI!" I yelled. He ran down with a dagger in hand and was in attack mode. When he saw nothing wrong he straightened up and sighed.

"What?" He said, clearly irritated.

"We're destroying a beautiful as(ian) car that's super rare in the world!" I almost screeched. He stood there with a blank stare.

"...so?" I almost flipped the coffee table.

"IT'S THE RAREST CAR IN THE WORLD THAT WE'RE RACING FOR AND DESTROYING." I tried to get it through his thick skull but he rolled his eyes and went back to packing. I flipped him off when he wasn't looking and went back to stare at the beautiful sleek black car.

"A human-like A.I.? Hmm, interesting."

We arrived in Brazil and I was on the edge of my seat. I loved missions like this where we could race and compete with others. This involved cars too so it was a specialty of mine.

"If you think I'm letting you race with that injury then you're wrong," Levi stated as we hailed a taxi. I almost dropped my carry-on bag when I heard that.

"What?!" I gasp out in shock.

"You heard me. You're injured, I'm not letting you race."

"It's just a bite, nothing wrong with it. Just let me race, please!" I almost begged.

"...no." He said as if it was the final decision. I fumed quietly when a taxi rolled up. I kept tapping my foot with crossed arms as it rolled up. I just heard Levi click his tongue and ignore me. I loaded my stuff and got in the car. I then had an idea but it was cruel. Levi had his own money and I had mine. I tapped the taxi driver and whispered, "If you leave him, I'll pay you extra."

I held up a wad of cash and he nodded. I gave it to him and once Levi closed the trunk he sped off. Levi grunted and realized I was getting away. He chased after the taxi with a look of death on his face. I rolled down the window and stuck my head out.

"HAHA SUCKER!" I flipped him off once again and went back inside the car. I sat back in my seat and fist bumped the taxi driver.

I'm so gonna pay for this once we meet up at the race...

It was the night of the race and I was jumping out of my seat. Levi met up with me and almost choked me to death but we got over it...after he smacked up in the head. I was dressed in a racing but cool outfit for this occasion. I wasn't the girl with the flags who started the race, I was the one behind the wheel and owning the race.

I was dressed in (f/c) tank top with black ripped jeans. I had my usual combat boots and I decided to bring my leather jacket with me. I just stuffed all my stuff - especially cash - into my pockets and bra.

(Change the color of the tank top if you'd like)

I twirled the keys to my car in my hand. I had some people deliver it to me since it was a car that was pretty fast already. I had some connections here in Brazil who added nitrogen gas to it so I could be faster on the streets. They also gave Levi a car similar to mine with nitro. Our plan was that both of us would race so we could double the chance of winning. I didn't know how good Levi was but...I trusted him. We put earpieces in each other's ear and we drove off to the race.

We arrived side by side at the place. It was already in full swing with girls with barely any clothes on dancing and posing on cars. There were buff men standing next to their cars with smug looks. Everyone parted once they saw our cars and I roared my engine to make them move faster.

I parked at a spot and Levi parked next to me. When I got out lots of people were staring at me. I could sense what they were feeling; envy, lust, and slight fear. I smirked and shut my door. One of the connections I had - his name was Nik - came up to me.

"Sup Nik." I greeted and hugged him. He smiled and hugged back. Nik was actually one of my closest connections to the point I could call him a friend. It's unlikely of me but he already considered me a part of his family.

"Hey, how have you been?" He smiled and broke the hug. I shrugged.

"Doing better." I opened up the hood of the car and he instantly went to work on it. He polished it up a bit and made sure everything was in its place. A guy came up to Nik and he whistled at the sight of my engine. He was about 6'6 and he towered over me. He was around the same height as Nik so I wasn't seen. The guy was buff and had blonde hair with blue eyes.

"Da(ytime) Nik, you've got a nice one there." The guy said and leaned on the side of the hood. I came up behind Nik and he shook his head.

"Not mine. This beauty's hers." Nik smirked proudly and pointed at me. I leaned on the other side of the hood.

"Aye, pretty lady. How about we race for your car?" The man said. I smirked and almost accepted the challenge but I declined.

"Sorry, I'm racing for the Lykan today." His eyes widen and he stares at me in shock. A smaller man came up behind him and I could tell he was very bubbly.

"Miss! You're racing for the Lykan too?!!" He barged in. I raise an eyebrow and nod.

"Ooh~ fun." He grinned.

"Good luck miss~" He skipped off to his own car that was currently surrounded by girls. The buff man leaned closer to me.

"That's JJ, he's very bubbly as you can see but don't let that fool you. He's a monster on the streets." He informed me. I nodded.

"Thanks...?"

"Bryce."

"Thanks, Bryce. Is there anyone else I should be aware of?"

"That Asian girl over there. She's cute but she's a cheater. She probably has some tricks up her sleeve. Another one is that Brazilian guy who has men. I wouldn't be surprised if he sent them out to 'back him up' if you catch my drift." He continued. I hummed and analyzed them from afar.

"Other than that, you should be fine with passing the other racers. They don't stand a chance against you four-"

"Make that five, Bryce." I interrupted. He looked over at me and then around with an eyebrow raised. I pointed to behind him and he turned to see nothing. He looked down and saw Levi.

"Oh! I didn't see you there shorty!" The man laughed. Levi growled and was about to punch the guy until he was interrupted by a familiar brunette.

"LEVIIII!!!" Hanji screamed into his ear. He grunted and pushed her face off him.

"Get off me you filthy animal!"

"Hanji? What are you doing here?" I asked. She smiled with a gleam in her eyes.

"Well Rose, I'm here to watch you guys race!" She answered. I rolled my eyes and walked away. She whined but latched onto Levi again. Suddenly, a man announced that the race was starting and called all the racers to the starting line. I smirked and cracked my knuckles and neck.

"Let's win this."

"Be fast..."

"Be safe." She looked at all of us. I opened up my seat and turned some gears and flipped some switches to prepare my Nos. I looked at the dashboard and I closed the seat.

"Ready?" She pointed at me. I revved my engine in response. I smirked at the sound of my engine's roar. She did the same to the other racers and they did the same.

"Set!" She looked at all the racers with a grin.

"GO!!" She signaled and we went off. I easily passed most racers and was now neck to neck with Levi. We glanced at each other and with a nod, we sped past the Asian girl. She grunted and used her Nos to pass us. I clicked my tongue at her impatience and easily caught up with her. The course was easy. A simple race down 3 miles, a sharp u-turn then a simple drive down the 3 miles again. But these people played dirty. Next thing I know the girl used Nos again and I sighed, expecting this. The U-turn was coming up and at this rate, she won't be able to slow down in time for the turn. Just as I expected she crashed into a fire hydrant at the end of the street. I stomped on the brakes and turned my wheel as far as I could to drift. I noticed that she was having a fit in her car, slamming and punching the wheel. I slightly drifted to turn and once I was straight again I saw I was closing in on the Brazilian racer. I passed by him easily but I was then interrupted by some of his men I assume. They were on motorcycles and were trying to drive me off the road. Levi then jumped in and crashed them into the side. He nodded at me and passed me to catch up with JJ. I smirked again, knowing what he was thinking.

Levi drove up next to JJ. They were neck to neck. As JJ was being distracted I used the ledge to tilt my car. I gritted my teeth and tried to keep my balance as I passed both of them from the sidewalk. The left side wheels were in the air while the right wheels were keeping me balanced. I almost scratched my car on the sidewalk until I was back on the street. My car landed with a thud and then I used my Nos to finish the race. With a genuine smile, I passed the finish and sighed in relief. I parked in my spot once again and jumped out. Hanji cheered and engulfed me in a bear hug.

"OOF!" I grunted as my breath escaped me.

"That was awesome!!!" She squealed and I mumble thanks. I was fighting to keep my smile hidden. Levi came up and I high-fived him.

"That was...good enough. At least we accomplished the mission." He tried to compliment me. I side smiled not being able to hold it in anymore and nodded.

JJ then drove up to me with the Lykan Hypersport and I squealed quietly. I saw Nik chuckle at my eagerness from the corner of my eye. JJ came out and gestured for me to enter it.

"Here's your prize..." JJ struggled to say and almost cried after letting it go. I went into the driver's seat and gasped in awe at the inside. Levi came in through the passenger seat. He too looked surprised at it.

"Hey Bryce!" I yelled out when I rolled down the window. He jogged at my window and hummed in response. I gave him the keys to Levi's car since we didn't have a need for it. He gasped and looked at us in shock.

"He's all yours. You can do whatever you want to revamp it. It has the same engine as mine's." He smiled and gave me a nod. I dropped the keys into his hand and waved goodbye to Nik.

"Hanji will take your car back home," Levi said and I nodded.

"Welcome inside humans. My name is Lykan, the A.I. that operates this vehicle. You seem to be my new drivers." A monotone but male voice said. I blinked and smiled.

"The name is (y/n) and Levi." I introduced us. Levi sat there awkwardly with wide eyes at the screen.

"Hopefully you'll be nicer. I hated my previous driver, he used me as an excuse to get stuff. He also made me very messy so I apologize for my current state." Levi clicked his tongue at the filth in the car.

"Don't worry Levi, you can clean him thoroughly when we get back."

"I sure hope so. That brat did a lot inside here..."

A/n: Sup' friends! Whew, this one took awhile and I made it longer to make up for last week! I've been wanting to do a race type of mission for awhile and I finally had the chance to. (If you can't tell, I'm a huge Fast and Furious fan)

I had a lot of fun making this chapter. Although, I did write this whole chapter on my phone so excuse any mistakes I might've overlooked. I'm also writing this on a trip so I may not post for a bit. Maybe or maybe not, it depends on how long I'm here for. I also don't have my laptop with me so bear with me on this one!

A huge thanks to my best friend, music_man1ac for my last minute request of an outfit. She made up the outfit and I absolutely love it. It gives a better visual to you and gives me an outfit to base off of!

(Y/n) is opening up more. She's smiled a lot in this chapter. It seems she's trying to forget about her encounter with the Titan. I wonder how she'll cope with that.

Levi seems to be snappier. Which means he may be opening up to (y/n) more! He also had to deal with (y/n)'s shenanigans. Poor bae ;-;

So we now have a new car. This car will actually be important in this book, so get used to him!
