After pretty much destroying Tasuku and Jack with not to much effort, we a month Time Skip or whatever is between the ABC Cup and Gao and Drum having their little thing with the character development, Today is the day that the Aibo Academy Students go to the Photon Metal Mine, were Core Gadget like Ryu's are forged. Speaking of, let's pear into the mind of our seemingly invincible Hero.

To the Hero.

Ryu was in bed sleeping and moving around with Blaze being right beside the bed.

In Ryu's Mind.

Ryu opened his eyes and saw that he was in a dark room.

Ryu: What the heck? Where am I? BLAZE?

There was no answer as he was completely alone.

Ryu: What the heck is going on?

Now to those of you who read any of my other stories, you should know, Ryu being in an either white or black room means something either important, or foreshadowing is about to happen.

Ryu: Oh crap.

A bright light shone and the room that slightly blinded Ryu. He saw dark figures standing in front of him.

Ryu: Who the heck are they?

He began to hear his hurt pulsate as the figures came closer.

Ryu: Why am I getting the feeling that I've met them before?

As they got closer he was about to be able to see their faces but woke back up.

Ryu: OH GOD DAMNIT!

The yelling woke up Blaze who was still sleeping.

Blaze: Ryu, it's still barely morning, what could possibly posses you to shout this early?

Ryu: Alright let me explain.

Time Skip!

Ryu: And that's basically it.

Blaze: Oh it makes sense now. I would scream two if I was that close to finding out who they were. But the part about them being familiar doesn't make sense.

Ryu: Ugh it's fine. Right now I just need to get ready for the trip. It's still-

Ryu looked at his watch as his eyes bulged out of his head.

Ryu: 7:15?!!

Ryu raced to put on his clothes brush his teeth and hair before racing out of his room with Blaze hot on his trail.

Ryu: I can't believe I overslept!

Suzumi: Considering how busy you've been the last few days it understandable.

Ryu: Of all the days!

He started eating and slightly chocked with Hanna handing him some tea. He gulped it down and let out a sigh of relief.

Ryu: Thanks Hanna.

Hanna: Your welcome!

Ryu: Wait where's Gao?

Hanna: He's still in bed.

Ryu: Oh great.

And not a second later, Gao came in through the door with Drum both of them having bumps on their heads.

Gao: Hey mom why didn't you wake me up?! I overslept!

Suzumi: I did wake you up, you must've fallen back asleep.

Ryu: Gao we don't have time to talk, we gotta hurry! Today's the day we go to the Photon Metal Mine!

Gao: That's right!!!

Gao ran to an empty seat at the table and it a similar fashion to Ryu, scarfed down his food and almost chocking.

Blaze: It must be a trait.

Ryu: Anyway lets go guys!

They all ran out of the house running like mad until Ryu stopped.

Ryu: Wait a second why are we running? Hey Blaze.

Blaze: On it.

His eyes glowed as their Buddy Skill activated.

Ryu: Come on guys let's go!

Gao: Alright Drum! Gimme some of that Buddy Skill!

Drum had his arms crossed while he was sitting down. Ryu rose an eyebrow at this before snickering.

Blaze: Whats so funny Ryu?

Ryu: Oh you'll get a kick out of this.

Ryu whispered into Blaze's ear and what he heard made him laugh.

Blaze: YOUR JOKING RIGHT?!! HAHAHAHA!!!!

Ryu: Might be one of the saddest things I've heard.

The pair picked up Gao and Drum as the began flying.

Ryu: Of all the things.

Blaze wiped a remaining tear in his eye from the laughter. The speed of the flight was slightly altered from the extra weight of the two making them go slower than normal. Ryu saw this as a perfect opportunity to mess with Drum to he broke the silence.

Ryu: So Drum why exactly don't you let Gao use your Buddy Skill?

Gao: Yeah! We are Buddies aren't we?!

Drum was playing it off by trying to act arrogant.

Drum: Well to be perfectly honest with you kid, I'm not sure I wanna be your Buddy.

This however did not fool Ryu or Blaze in the slightest.

Blaze: Oh really? Cause it sounds to me as if-

Gao: Keep it up lizard and brain!! With or without your dumb-

Ryu ignored the banter of the two when he saw the Aibo Field Trip Bus leavening. Whilst that was going on Gao and Drum were butting heads making it hard for Ryu to fly very well.

Ryu: Hey stop moving so much!

Blaze: Oh no!

They immediately started going down and were definitely about to hit the ground. That was until they dropped Gao and Drum.

Ryu: Could you not do that?

???: You guys are pathetic. You and your Buddy Dragons.

Ryu's ear worked up and he had a vein in his head.

Ryu: I know that snarky attitude.

They all turned around to see Noboru.

Gao/Drum/Blaze: Come here and say that!!

Baku and Kuguru we're behind him as well along with Neginoyama.

Ryu: Wait I'm still kinda confused, what the-

Time Skip!

Gao and Drum were currently in the school car along with the others and Mr. Neginoyama. Ryu was outside flying over the car.

Ryu: I still can't believe that Mr. Neginoyama actually did this?

Blaze: He is by far one of the best teachers in the school.

Ryu: So Blaze wanna kick this up a notch?

Blaze: I'm game if you are.

Ryu and Blaze has gone higher into the air and started doing tricks. Ryu started doing backflips while Blaze was barrel rolls.

Ryu: Big Finish!

They both spun down right next to the windows of the car.

Neginoyama: Ryu please don't do something so reckless! We're in a road with other cars for Pete's sake!

Ryu: Don't worry this isn't the first doing this sir.

Gao: Yeah he does this all the time!

Baku: Whats it like flying through the air like that anyway?

Ryu: It's the best feeling. It's like I'm light as a feather, or as weightless as someone in zero gravity. But the best part is that I have complete control on which direction I go.

Gao: Man that sounds really nice!

Gao gave a side glance to Drum with him just rolling his eyes.

Ryu: Oh hey look the mines are up ahead.

Blaze: Nice save.

They arrived at the mine with the students and Mr Neginoyama exited to he van.

Ryu: Hey Blaze, doesn't it look kinda vacant right now?

Blaze: Now that you mention it, yeah.

Gao: Photon Metal Mine. Maybe I'll be able to find something here that'll make me stronger at Buddyfighting.

Kiri: Gao wait you're can't just go off by yourself!

Gao walked off and Ryu facepalmed at his idiocy.

Ryu: How would that even work. Like seriously what in Gods name here could make someone a better Buddyfighter?

Blaze: Let's just follow him.

The pair immediately walked after Gao until the caught up with him. Ryu immediately grabbed the back of Gao's shirt and deadpanned.

Ryu: A mine full of only metal used to make core gadgets. Oh yeah that would definitely make you stronger.

Gao: You know when you say it out loud. But anyway check out.

Ryu looked to where he was pointing and saw that there were multiple times holed in the walls.

Blaze: Drill marks?

Ryu looked up and saw someone wearing a mask jumping on top of a building near by with an Armorknight Cerberus.

Ryu: What the?!

Security droids went towards the building shocking he Gao and Blaze.

???: Mission accomplished. I have my Photon Metal.

The Cerberus started howling before the man dropped a case full of the Metal into a portal which appeared. After the portal disappeared he started glowing in a dark aura.

Ryu: What in the world?

???: I'm going to enjoy the awesome power bonus his will give me.

He pulled out a glowing Buddyfight card shocking Ryu.

???: I cast: Thunder Devastation!!

He jumped to the ground before stabbing his Core Gadget, which was a drill like spear, into the ground creating purple lightning that completely shut down the droids. This completely shocked Ryu and Blaze to the core while simply confusing Gao.

Ryu: 'There's no way he should be able to do that!'

Gao: Isn't that a card from the Danger World Ryu? How can he make it real?

Ryu: Gao get out of here.

Gao: Huh?

Blaze: Leave this place now.

Drum: Hey, what gives? You trying to leave me out or what?

Drum cane out of his card worrying everyone.

Gao: Drum, stay back!

???: Who's is that?!

Cerberus came down ready to attack and Drum relished the challenge.

Drum: Game on!

He took out his drill and charged, easily getting blown back in his small form.

Gao: Drum!!

Blaze: No!

Gao rushed over to Drum.

Gao: You okay?!

Drum: This isn't... Buddyfighting is it? Somethings weird. You should get yourself, somewhere... safe...

Gao: Drum wake up!

Ryu gritted his teeth.

Cerberus: You want to play too? Little humans?

Ryu: Gao get out of here.

Gao: What?! No way! Not after what he just-

Ryu's patience grew thin as he grabbed Gao by the collar.

Ryu: I said go! I'll make sure to get plenty of payback for you and Drum! Trust me when I say I can fend them off!

Gao: But I thought you it gave up fighting.

Ryu: When someone hurts my friends, all bets are off.

Blaze: Trust him Gao, we can handle this.

Gao: Fine, but you better be in one piece when you get home!!

Gao grabbed Drum and ran away. Ryu turned back around and glared at the Cerberus. Blaze transformed into his original size.

Blaze: Come on you overgrown flee bag.

Ryu's Core Gadget: Buddy Skill on.

Ryu's Buddy Skill activated as he looked at the masked man.

Masked Man: Well well, what do we have here?

Ryu: The guy that's about to kick your butt. Before that though, I have two questions.

Masked Man: I'll answer if your worth talking to!

The man charged at Ryu ready to attack.

Ryu: 'He's really slow.'

Ryu moves out of the way of all of his attacks before grabbing his arm and flipping him behind him.

Masked Man: Alright fine, speak.

Ryu: First, who are you?

Masked Man: My name is Wolf.

Ryu: Second, how do you of all people have the ability to make the power of your cards reality?

Wolf: None of your business. And what do you mean by me of all people?!

Ryu: It's just that someone like you shouldn't have something like that available to him.

Wolf: So what does that mean? You should have it instead?

Ryu: Well not really. I've got my own source of power thank you kindly.

Wolf: What?!

Before anything could happen, a Buddy Police officer came down.

Ryu: Mr Takihara, get back!

Wolf: The Buddy Police?!

Takihara: It's fine Ryu, I can handle this.

Ryu: No you don't understand! He can-

Takihara: Buddy Police Barrier!

An orange barrier came from a satellite in the sky trapping them.

Takihara: This barrier cannot be broken through until one of our Core Gadgets has been destroyed. Now pull out your deck!

Wolf: With pleasure! Drill Bunker!!

Wolf used a Drill Bunker spiral attack to destroy Takihara's Core Gadget. As Takihara fell down Ryu caught him.

Ryu: I tried to tell you that he can make the cards powers reality.

Takihara: He can really do that?

Ryu: Yeah. So you might wanna let me take care of this.

Takihara: Right.

Ryu flew up into the sky along with Blaze.

Ryu: Alright. Future Force Unleash!!

Ryu began glowing in a golden light and his Core Gadget outer ridge slightly opened showing what could've been red Photon Metal. His hair began to grow longer to the point it was near his waist. The cards in his deck came out a we're flying around him before he grabbed one and they all started flying back into his Core Gadget.

Ryu: It's been a while. I Equip: Emperors Hell Blade: Caliburn!!

Ryu Equipped Caliburn Shocking Wolf. Unknown to them, Gao had still stayed in the area and witnessed Ryu use Caliburn.

Gao: Ryu can do it too.

Wolf: Did you say Future Force?

Wolf leaped into the air with Ryu.

Wolf: How could you have such a thing?

Ryu: That's for me to know and for you to never find out. Let me show you how I handle criminals.

Ryu flew at high speeds to Wolf as dodged a spear thrust from him by a front flip.

Ryu: To slow!

He axe kicked Wolf on the the shoulder sending him back. Cerberus was about to try and attack Ryu, but Blaze got in the way and slapped Cerberus away with his wing.

Blaze: Your fight is with me!

Wolf recovered and landed in the ground.

Wolf: Equip Hysteric Spear!

Wolf Equipped a skinnier spear.

Wolf: Ok so you've got some skill. But not enough to defeat a warrior like me!

Wolf jumped up to Ryu who had a smug smirk on his face.

Ryu: Heh. Trust me, you don't wanna know what I do about being a warrior. *Turns Head* Can you believe this guy? *Turns Head Back to the Fight* I Cast: Dragonic Shoot!

A fireball went at Wolf with him managing to dodge it. Ryu went forward at Wolf with their weapons clashing.

Gao: Oh man this is insane. This is nothing like the Buddyfight I know.

Ryu slammed the hilt of Caliburn into Wolf's stomach. Cerberus was about to get Ryu from behind before Jackknife Dragon slammed into him.

Ryu: Jack?

Tasuku: Ryu!

Ryu turned around to see that Tasuku was there also having his Future Force active using Dragon Blade Dragobrave.

Ryu: Tasuku?!

Wolf: Your open!

Wolf tried attacking Ryu while his head was turned but only being met by the back of Ryu's fist sending him down to the ground.

Tasuku: If your using Future Force right now than it must be true, somehow he's also able to make the cards power real.

Ryu: Uh huh.

They both flew down to Takihara letting their weapons vanish.

Ryu: How are you holding up?

Gao: Why are the card powers real? What's going on?

Ryu: Gao did I not tell you to get out of here?!

Gao: Ryu I'm just really worried right now.

Ryu: I appreciate your concern, but I just need you to believe in me. You saw how bad I was kicking his butt, don't tell me that I've lost my touch. All be it I'm a bit rusty but, I definitely didn't loose my edge.

Tasuku: Ryu, I think you can leave the rest to me.

Ryu: If you want to fight him then use this.

Ryu pulled out his Colossus Punisher Card shocking everyone.

Tasuku: But Ryu, that card belongs to you only.

Ryu: I know but I you want a sure fire way to win.

Takihara: Actually Ryu, do you remember what happened last time you used that card with the Future Force?

Flashback!

Ryu: And you sure this is a good Idea commander?

Commander I: Positive.

Ryu looked at Tasuku with him shrugging his shoulders.

Ryu: ... Alright screw it. Colossus Punisher!!

Ryu used Colossus Punisher nearby a mountain an when it hit the ground, there was a massive explosion, leaving a hefty slash in the mountain along with scorch marks.

Tasuku: ..... Yeah Ryu whenever you enter Future Force, don't for whatever reason use Colossus Punisher.

Ryu: Noted.

Blaze: We should've seen that one coming.

Flashback Over!

Takihara Tasuku Ryu and Blaze shivered at the thought of the destruction.

Gao: Whats wrong?

Ryu: Ok plan B. Gao let Tasuku use Gargantua Punisher.

Gao: Oh, right!

Gao gander Tasuku his Gargantua Punisher making it temporarily turn back to Tasuku.

Time Skip!!

Wolf disappeared after the satellite was destroyed confusing everyone.

Ryu: Everything's fine now Mr Neginoyama.

Neginoyama: Well thank you for looking out for Gao. And helping dealing with that fighter.

Ryu: Always.

Neginoyama: By the way, give my regards to Commander I.

Ryu: Wait what?

He walked away leaving a confused Ryu.

Gao: Ryu!

Ryu: Uh oh.

Gao: You need to tell me! How were you able to use the cards powers like that without being in a real Buddyfight?

Ryu: I mean I could tell you, but I want you to stay the same.

Gao: Huh? What's that mean?!

Ryu: I don't want you to look at the game any differently because if this. What I have is a rare trait the probably only 3 people have. Those people are me, Tasuku, and that Wolf guy. And I want to play you in a Buddyfight without all that involved. Ok?

Gao stared at Ryu and nodded.

Ryu: Good.

Ryu smacked Gao upside the head the second he got the chance.

Ryu: That was for not listening to me when I told you to leave.

Gao: Fair enough.

???: Did you feel that?

???2: Yeah, that strange feeling again.

A girl with red hair was talking to a boy with silver hair with black streaks.

???2: What do you think it could be?

???: Not sure but it hasn't stopped lately.
