Ryu: Alright Gao, Dragon Blast Fury is ready.

Ryu and Baku has just finished creating a deck for Gao and Drum.

Gao: Alright! Thanks guys!!

Ryu: Don't just thank us, win for us.

Baku: I mean not that I'm not confident in him or our deck, but this is still Tasuku Ryuenji. Your one of the only people known to beat him.

Kuguru: Yeah, are you really sure he can do it?

Ryu: Positive.

Drum: It's still Jackknife as well. How can you be so confident.

Blaze: Aren't you all forgetting something?

Ryu: Gao and I have lived in the same house since we were 8. That's how old I was when I started Buddyfighting.

Gao: Yeah! I watched him build his decks and heard him talking about his strategies by himself! I've might not have played an official game until today, but hearing him talk about all of that and even seeing him play for so long, I think I have a chance!

Ryu: Better believe it.

Time Skip!!

Ryu: Well this is a tight spot isn't it?

Gao Life: 3

Tasuku Life: 6.

Tasuku and Gao had started there fight and it was nearing its end. Tasuku had the Item Dragofearless Requiped with Jack called to his right position. While Gao only had Drum to his right.

Blaze: Yes but there is one way that Gao can come back from this.

Ryu: Of course there is, I was one of the people who made sure of it.

Kuguru: If he can just draw Dragobrave again.

Baku: There's no guarantee he will.

Ryu: There are either 2 or three copies in his deck. So the odds aren't to bad.

Gao: Draw! Charge and-

Drum: Just cause you use Dragobrave doesn't guarantee us the win.

Gao: Tasuku is only holding size 2 monsters and offensive spells in his hand.

Ryu grinned as he watched Gao.

Ryu: That guy.

Baku: What is it bro?

Ryu: I'll tell you. Gao just said something that I always would in this situation.

Noboru: How could he possibly know that?

Ryu: It's simple. If Tasuku had any other monsters, he wouldn't have wasted any time and called them on his last turn. As for the offensive spells, Hmph, second verse same as the first. He wouldn't risk Gao having an item and wouldn't have called Latale Shield Dragon in the center, and would've blocked it with a shield card knowing what he would've been able to do. Gargantua Punisher.

Noboru: You can tell all of that?!

Ryu: I'm at the top of our grade Noboru, I'd have to be pretty good.

Kuguru: So Gao just needs to win this turn.

Gao pulled a switch on his core gadget belt and the core turned sideways and made its way to the middle of the belt. He had drawn the card with a great determination.

Ryu: 'If that wasn't the most passionate draw I've ever seen-'

Baku: Come on!

Kuguru: Did he draw it?!

His arms began to glow and they all smiled.

Gao: Cast! Dragon Blade: DRAGOBRAVE!!

Gao has iron gloves and boots on while holding a massive great sword.

Ryu: Oh yeah.

Gao jumped to the center position ready for an attack.

Drum: No way, he actually drew it...

Gao: Alright Drum! Attack Tasuku!

Drum: You got it kid!

Drums drill started to rev up as he started flying towards Tasuku.

Drum: Crash: Drill Ram Bunker!!

He hit Tasuku and gave him three Damage.

Tasuku Life: 3

Gao ran towards Tasuku shocking the boy before he smiled and closed his eyes getting ready for the attack. The sword hit Tasuku creating a yellow slash getting rid of his remaining Life Points.

Tasuku Life: Zero!

Tasuku's Dragon World Flag disappeared.

Core Gadget: Winner: Gao Mikado!

Gao: Thank you, Thank you very much.

Everyone started cheering for Gao and Tasuku.

Paruko: FOR THE FIRST TIME I HAVE NO WORDS! SUPER NOVICE GAO HAS BEATEN MY TASUKU!!

Noboru: Ha, he just lucked out in drawing the right-

Ryu: Now I'm stop you there. Gao did that better than you could've been without any luck. If you don't stop saying that then you don't have a chance at beating him.

Gao: BAKU! RYU! Thanks a lot! Your Dragon Blast Fury Deck rocked!! I could never have built a deck like that! You my friends are total Genius'!

Ryu and Blaze flew down with their Buddy Skill and high fives Gao.

Baku: Thanks, but I think your skills had more to do with it!

Ryu: Decks may be important, but the Fighter is more so.

Tasuku jumped down and walked over to Gao.

Tasuku: That was a pretty fun match Gao. Gotta say you had some solid tactics. Your now my second biggest Buddyfight Rival.

Gao: Uh?!

Tasuku held out an impact card towards Gao.

Tasuku: I want you to have this card.

Gao: But that's-

Ryu: Gargantua Punisher!

Everyone in the crowd was a gasped from hearing those words.

Ryu: Tasuku that's your only Impact and one of the RAREST ones out there. It's right up there with my Colossus Punisher. You sure you wanna give it up?

Tasuku: Yes. Use it well Gao. As you know it's a unique card and I'd really like to see you master it.

Ryu: Might as well take it Gao, that's a whole other kind of sign that he respects you as a Buddyfighter.

Gao took the card from Tasuku's hand. Immediately purplish black energy surrounded him as he was transported to a dark space. He looked up to see a pair of red eyes with slits for pupils widen as he found himself back in the stadium.

Ryu: It's weird the first time right Gao?

Gao: Huh?

Tasuku: The Special Rare Gargantua Punisher Card is all yours.

Gao saw that he was on the card instead of Tasuku.

Ryu: Wait how does that even- Anyway before he forgets to tell you, that card evolves.

Gao: What?

Gargantua Punisher turned into four separate lights that formed into copies of the card.

Tasuku: In order to manifest its true power, Gargantua Punisher splits into four.

Ryu: As you gain experience with each Buddyfight, you'll discover the true power of this card.

Gao: Awesome. But you know, I wouldn't feel right if I didn't give you something in return.

Gao took out his Dragobrave and handed it to Tasuku.

Tasuku: Dragon Blade Dragobrave?

Paruko: But that's not even close to a fair trade!

Gao: Well the only reason I beat you is because of this card so I thought it just made sense.

Tasuku grabbed the card.

Tasuku: I'll remember our fight when I use it.

Ryu: Well then your gonna remember it soon, cause we're next.

Jack came out of his card and smiled.

Jack: Come on Tasuku we still need to settle the score with them.

Tasuku: Your right.

Paruko: In a unbelievable turn of events, Ryu Mikado is going to be challenging Tasuku as well! We all know that even though he isn't in the Buddy Police, he's taken down Criminal Fighters just like Tasuku! These two have been Rivals for so long, it'll make for an exciting match!

Ryu: Lets give em a good one.

Tasuku: Lets.

They walked back over to their sides.

Tasuku: Gather Dragon Army! Dragonic Force: Luminize!

Tasuku's Core Deck Case turned into his Star Pulser.

Ryu: Burn away my opponent with Blazing Flames! Hell Fire Dragons: Luminize!

Ryu's Core Gadget turned into a blue and red gauntlet on his left hand.

Paruko: It appears both Fighters are ready! So the match can finally get started! BUDDY~

All: FIGHT!!!

Ryu&Tasuku: ITS TIME RAISE THE FLAG!!

Tasuku: Dragon World!

Jack waved the flag around at Tasuku's side.

Ryu: Dragon World!

Ryu held the flag with one hand while Blaze in his true form loomed over them.

Paruko: Ryu is up first!

Ryu: Charge and Draw!

Ryu threw a card from his hand and sent it into the two bigger cards up to his left making it grow to their size and drawing another card from his deck and shuffling it.

Ryu: Alright I'm gonna pay 3 Gauge and Cast Dragon Emperors Kingdom!

He placed a set spell down confusing Gao.

Paruko: There it is! Ryu's amazing Set Spell!!

Gao: Wait a set spell?

Kuguru: It's a type of spell that's stays in the field unless it's destroyed by a card effect.

Gao: I've never seen him use that one though.

Baku: It's not surprising since he just usually has that in his deck.

Ryu: With that the size limit for me increases to 6!

Gao: Did he just say 6?!

Kuguru: Yeah. That's what makes that card so special. With that the Triple Offensive Maneuver can be taken to a whole different level as well as a better defense.

Baku: Lets not forget that Dragon Emperors Kingdom can't be destroyed.

Ryu: I call Volcanic Hell Dragon to the center!

Ryu sent out a Size Three Dragon that slightly resembled a lava rock.

Volcanic Hell Dragon: You need me again Ryu?'

He took in a great breath before lava came out of his mouth hitting Tasuku.

Tasuku Life: 7.

Core Gadget: End of Move!

Tasuku: Looks like he wanted to start off with a bang Jack.

Jack: He always does.

Tasuku: Draw! Charge and Draw! I call to the right, Jamadhar Dragon!

Tasuku summoned a green armored dragon with blade gauntlets.

Ryu: Yeah that seems about right.

Tasuku: And now I pay 1 Gauge and equip: Dragon Blade: Dragobrave!!

He equipped the sword and moved to the center.

Tasuku: Jamadhar, you know what to do!

Jamadhar: With pleasure.

The dragon flew over and slashed Volcanic Hell Dragon.

Volcanic Hell Dragon: ARGH curses!

He was destroyed and sent to the Drop Zone. Tasuku came in towards Ryu with Dragobrave and slashed at him.

Ryu: Rr...

Ryu Life: 7.

Core Gadget: End of Move.

Ryu: Ok. Draw! Charge and Draw!

Ryu looked over to the gauge and saw that he had 3.

Ryu: Alright. I pay 3 Gauge Buddy Call! Chaotic Emperor Blaze Dragon to the right!

Blaze roared as he flew over to the right spot hovering above it.

Paruko: There it is! Ryu's larger than life Size 3 Buddy Blaze!!

The crowd started cheering as Blaze finally sprang into action.

Ryu's Life: 8.

Ryu: I send 3 cards into Blazes Soul!

Blaze briefly glowed in a red aura before looking to Ryu.

Blaze: Lets show them what we're made of Ryu!

Ryu: Oh yeah. I cast: Dragonic Charge!

Ryu's Gauge increased to 3.

Ryu: Alright again. I Cast: Dragonic Charge!

Ryu's Gauge increased up to 5.

Ryu: And 1 Last time: Dragonic Charge!

Ryu's Gauge increases all the way up to 7.

Gao: Whats he gearing up for?

Kuguru: I'm not sure.

Baku: I am. He's ready to test out his new Item.

Ryu: Alright! I pay three Gauge and Equip: Emperors Hell Blade Caliburn!

A portal from above them appeared as a chained sword came down with it. Ryu grabbed the handle of the blade and the chains began to glow before shattering. After that Ryu pulled the blade down and slashed it around him creating waves of light.

Paruko: If his already powerful Buddy wasn't enough, Ryu now has his hands on the Special Rare Emperors Hell Blade!

Tasuku's eyes widened seeing Ryu wield the sword.

Tasuku: I wasn't expecting you to bring an item like that out. It changes everything now.

Ryu: Alright. First off, Blaze, attack Jamadhar!

Blaze: Right! Burning Hell Stream!

Blaze shot out a stream a blue flames destroying Jamadhar.

Ryu: Double Attack!

Blaze turned his attention to Tasuku and shot out another stream of fire towards him.

Tasuku Life: 4.

Ryu: Alright. Caliburn!

Ryu ran forward about to slash Tasuku.

Tasuku: I cast: Blue Dragon Shield!

A Blue Dragon Shield protected Tasuku and increased his Gauge to 4. But just when he thought he was safe, a red light pierced through the shield and hit Tasuku.

Tasuku Life: 3

Paruko: What?!! But Tasuku guarded against that attack we all saw it!

Ryu: That's because of Caliburn's effect. It can deal one damage when my attack is nullified or reduced. And it has Double Attack!

Ryu rushed towards Tasuku again but he was blocked.

Tasuku: I cast: Green Dragon Shield!

Tasuku blocked the attack canceling out the damage with the heal.

Paruko: Tasuku has just narrowly escaped defeat by Ryu! What will he do to win next turn?!

Ryu: The isn't gonna be a next turn for him.

Tasuku: So you had that card huh?

Ryu: Hope your not to mad at me for this one Tasuku but if a winning option is right in front of me I really shouldn't take my chances with you.

Tasuku: It was a well played match. Go ahead.

Ryu: Time for my Final Phase!

Ryu payed 4 Gauge and they were engulfed in blue flames. A giant sword appeared behind Ryu and Blaze.

Ryu: Impact!!

He held up the card as blue flames emotes from the card igniting the sword.

Ryu: COLOSSUS PUNISHER!!!!

Tasuku got ready for the attack. It handed and stuck straight into Tasuku's side of the stage.

Tasuku Life: 0

Tasuku's flag dispersed as well as the sword.

Core Gadget: Winner: Ryu Mikado!

Ryu jumped down to the center of the stage and raised his hand. His Gauntlet turned back into his Core Deck Case as he caught it in his other hand.

Ryu: You might've won against the rest, but you can't beat the best.

The crowd started cheering and going wild.

Paruko: That was AMAZING!! The Great Ryu was able to take down Tasuku in just 2 turns!!!

Tasuku came down to Ryu and smiled.

Tasuku: Looks like it's 3-2.

Ryu: Us leading.

Blaze: Better luck next time you two.

Jack: I didn't even get to fight...

Tasuku: I guess I should've called Jack in from the beginning for a better chance.

Ryu: If you did then we would've had some trouble.

They fist bumped each other and Gao stared in amazement in the crowd.

Gao: Awesome! It took all I had to beat Tasuku, but Ryu did it while making it look easy!

Baku: Yeah, this isn't the first time too. He beat Tasuku 2 two other times before this.

Kuguru: And Tasuku has beaten him 2 times.

Drum: It's like they're on completely different levels.

Gao: Now I know for sure, they're the guys we have to beat.
