What could be better than be the most respected person in your field, have a powerful bond with the persona manifested from your being, and being able to become even stronger through him? For Akira Kurusu, there wasn't much more he could ask for. Sure someone could argue that he should likely begging searching or a partner his age. But due to his position, his tendencies to travel for days on end, and the simple fact h simply wasn't ready to even consider such. He had seen fair maidens countless of times through his travels, but their fairness was in their looks. And even if he wanted to get with one they'd force him to settle and that wasn't an option for him. Despite such, it was still beyond happy with his life.

Akira looked up at the small feline curled up at his window seal. "Are you positive you don't want to come along?" He asked as he fixed his outfit. His attention then turned to the large persona curled up on his couch. His body slightly hung off said area as he slept.

"I'm sure, some one's has to hold the fort down for you." Morgana purred softly as his tail swayed.

"Alright." Akira hummed before gently nudging his persona's shoulder. "Come on, Arsene. You can rest later." He hummed. Arsene's wong spread as he got up. He then sleepily looked at his user.

"Alright, alright." The persona quietly replied before standing up and heading out of the area.

Akira smiled softly as he followed after him. "We'll be back." He hummed waving the cat farewell. He hummed softly as he kept his hands in his pockets. He followed close beside his persona as his wings slightly flapping as he hovered. The duo were greeted every so often as per usual. He didn't mind the attention after all the attention was earned or at least he felt it was.

He then carefully picked up his speed upon realizing how uncomfortable Arsene began getting. With such, it had started a race between the two of them. Of course, Arsene was far quicker than he was. The persona's large wings flapped slightly as he raced his user. Akira chuckled as he ran behind him.

That was until an irritated hiss filled the air. Akira skidded to a stop as he was met face to face with a shadow. Arsene returned the hiss with a growl as he began aggressively flapping his wings as a warning. The warning was sort lived as soon as the shadow nearly slashed Akira's chest. Arsene quickly and quite aggressively batted the persona away his wings.

"Arsene!" Akira cried hoping his persona would get the idea. Arsene nodded before a flash of white light filled the air. A mask similar to the one that covered Arsene's. Akira had put it on without any thought in the matter. A scream filled the air as he fell to his knees clutching the ground though his pair of claws dug into the ground easily piercing the land.

Two large raven wings sprouted from him back, carefully placed between his shoulder blades. Two large horns presented themselves for under the side of his head, as they slowly curled upwards. His eyes flashing a reddish hue before switching to yellow then finally resting on a slate blue. His hands now had a set of claws on them, they were quite sharp and could easily tare through quite a bit on their own. The male seemed to have grown taller as well due to his current state, though the heels with a sharp blade neatly merged into it didn't make him seem any sorter. And finally, there was the rest of his outfit which was simply the same attire as his persona just altered to fit his form.

This wasn't the first time the two had done something like this. But unknown to the two, it would be their last. He looked at the shadow with murderous intent. He roared loudly at it as he stood up slowly approaching they now terrified. He quickly pounced onto the now defensively shadow as he began ripping the shadow apart.

once the shadow was dead and nothing but a bloodied up corpse, he got off of it and walked away from it a little. "Alright, Arsene unfuse." Akira said. He waited for a few seconds before repeating himself. "Arsene?" He said. "Unfuse." He said.

He began getting anxious as his heart began beating faster. "Arsene, please." He begged as his voice cracked. "Please..." He whimpered. He knew exactly what becoming a Phantom did to a person. And the fact Arsene wasn't able to unfuse terrified him.

Akira looked at his hands with a whimpered. He didn't know what to do. He couldn't go back to his house as he risked murdering those who he sought to protect. So without a second thought and he quickly ran off into hiding. He felt awful for not only abanding his home and those he had sworn his life to but also abandoning his beloved feline.

Yet in his mind, this really was the only way he could protect them now...
