Kakarot went through the tunnel of black clouds and smoke, as he goes back in time to the past that is still living. After all...to him...he needs to redeem what he has done in the past. And the only way to do it is to protect the Earth, as well as Chi-Chi and Goten, who are still alive at this time. Maybe Gohan is alive in this time...hopefully so.

He continued down the tunnel for a few more minutes...going as fast as he could to the other side. And eventually...after what had looked like an eternity of flying inside of it, Kakarot finally reached the other side.

He finally exited the portal...and he is now in a much more brother and very lively version of Earth. Clearly...he is now back in the past, back before Zamasu had controlled his body.

And Central City's still here. Kakarot sighed, as he sees that this place, this city...it is still intact. He continues to go down, until he finally floats down to the ground. He lands by floating down as softly as a feather.

Kakarot began the look around the city, and saw that...it is the same city as he once saw it as. And he is glad...that it has not changed.

He than began to walk...and he looks to see a large portion of the city beyond the horizon.

Zamasu leaned against the metal bar, as he sees the city beyond the horizon. Clearly...he loved the Earth when it was like this. When it really filled with life. Not when it was turned into a barren wasteland...after what Zamasu had done...killing so many humans, killing his friends...killing his...family. Kakarot sighed, as he than looked down at the ground that is very below him, and sees just how far it is going down. He'll need to be hidden now.

Than, he held his fingers to his forehead, and he used Instant Transmission to instantly go somewhere...which is a type of woods. He than looked around...before he goes to a random direction...as he observes and sees the life that is surrounds him. The birds that tweet in the air, the squirrel that is getting a nut. He is seeing a bunch of stuff. But than...he than found a pond. He stops for a minute...before he than decides to go to it. He walks for a whole minute...before finally stopping in front of it. He than looks down, and goes into his knees. As he takes a good look at the pond...or rather...the reflection of the pond, to see what he looks like.

He looked down at his reflection...as he sees his new body inside of the mirror that makes up the water. He observes every part of himself...including the potara earrings that are still on his ears, which are now pointy...as half of this body makes up Zamasu's fused body, with the other half Goku's. He continues to look...and he sees his eyes...which are Zamasu's...and when he blinks...he sees himself, having the same build and the same muscular arms he had when he was younger...but he is wearing Goku Black's clothing instead of his usual orange and blue clothing. Kakarot sighed, as he looks at his hand, and he clenched it, clearly unhappy with what had become of him. He wishes that he had never met Zamasu in the first place. Than...he would have been spared the trouble of never having to lose everything in his life, including of the people he had held so dear to.

Kakarot than stood up, and began to walk away, this time in a different direction, away from the body of water.

As Kakarot wanders away...he than hears something. A voice...that is the same as his own.

"You..."

He than looks up and sees someone that he had actually been expecting to run into. It was none other, than Goku himself, his original self from the past.

Kakarot looks at Goku, who looks very serious. Clearly...he knows about what Zamasu has done. And doesn't know...that he isn't Zamasu. Goku looks at Kakarot serious, as he than spoke.

"Zamasu?! No way...Zeno erased you when you destoryed Trunk's timeline!! How are you still alive?!"

Goku than stood up from the ground, as he than spoke out.

"No matter..."

Goku spoke out, before he activated his Super Saiyan Blue transformation, in order to fight in even grounds against Kakarot, who he still thinks is Zamasu.

"You aren't not going to threaten my time anymore, Zamasu! You have already taken Chi-Chi and Goten from me once, you will not take them away from me again!"

Goku spoke out, as his Super Saiyan Blue aura flared even more.

Kakarot sighed, as he sees that there is no way to talk down his past self, due to thinking that he is still Zamasu. He doesn't need to talk back to know what Goku is thinking. So...Kakarot took a battle stance, and gets ready to fight off against Goku. His Past Self took a battle stance himself, and than...they both fight each other.

Goku and Kakarot than go into combat with each other, exchanging a bunch of punches and kicks at each other. As they are both the same person...the 2 of them at evenly matched. No holding back. No punches were pulled. No kicks are stopped. The 2 Gokus fought against each other without slowing down.

Goku than unleashed a barrage of kicks at Kakarot, who did very little to defend. But Kakarot is not here to fight Goku. He is here to tire him out so he can speak to him properly. But it looks like that it is not going to happen that much to get Goku to calm down.

So when Goku tried to attack his head, Kakarot blocked his attack by grabbing his leg and throwing him away. But Goku is very persistent, as he than flies back towards Kakarot and began to try and strike at him with a powerful punch, that Kakarot was forced to block.

Kakarot than made a sphere of energy, and blasts at it Goku, though not to the point of injuring him. Just to the point of pushing him back a bit. But Goku than forced it away, as the energy sphere than began to launched away into a mountain...where it had than exploded.

Goku than fired a barrage of ki blasts at Kakarot, but he than used the Barrier of Light to defend against the Ki Blasts that are coming his way. The same Barrier of Light that Zamasu had made when he had fused with his alternate counterpart.

He than let's down his Barrier of Light, and he looks at Goku. Clearly he doesn't want to fight. But now...he has to, as Goku is not going to listen, due to believing that he is still Zamasu, which he cannot blame Goku for, as he hated Zamasu for having stolen his body.

Kakarot and Goku stared at each other, before they than charged at each other at full speed. As soon as they did, they instantly became too fast to see. They were like unseen blurs, as the only way for you to actually know that they are here, is the fact that their strikes are capable of making shockwaves.

Although Goku kept on attacking, he noticed that something is wrong. Kakarot, who he still sees as Zamasu, is not attacking back as much. In fact, he is now trying to defend against him as much as possible, and only attacks when he feels like he has to. Clearly...this is making Goku a little bit suspicious towards Kakarot, but he still continued to attack, regardless, finally forcing Kakarot to attack back with immense power.

Kakarot than began to fly up into the air as fast as he could, as Goku than began to chase after him. Than, Kakarot than turned around, and began to race back to Goku as fast as he could, before the both of them collided, creating a very powerful shockwave.

They than landed on the ground, and as they did...

"I thought that I was rid of you, you bastard!"

Kakarot looked and saw Vegeta coming down towards him.

Kakarot doesn't speak, as looked at both Vegeta and Goku at the same time, knowing that he is going to need a lot more speed to deal with both of them. Or...so he thought.

"Hang on, Vegeta. I'll take him on myself. Besides...I think I am way more easy to face him than ever."

Vegeta snored, but than looks away. Goku and Kakarot looked at each other, before Kakarot got into a stance that only Goku knows of. Goku than did a sinister thing, as the both of them began to speak out to each other in perfect unison.

"KAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA....MEEEEEEEEEEE..."

Goku and Kakarot began to shout, as the 2 balls of energy began to form from their hands.

Both Goku and Kakarot do not let their sights off of each other, as they continue to charge up.

"HAAAAAAAAAAAAA...MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE..."

They than get ready to fire off their Kamehameha at each other, but Kakarot hopes to only use it in order to knock out Goku, and not to kill his past self, which is something he doesn't want to do. Before they could fire...

"I think that is enough fight for now."

A voice suddenly spoke out of nowhere, as both Kakarot and Goku stopped their Kamehameha attacks, and looked to see who spoke out to them.

"Lord Berrus!! Whis!!! Thank god you're here!"

Goku spoke out, feeling relieved that Beerus and Whis are finally here. But Kakarot froze, and not make any sudden movements, as he does not want to make an attack on Beerus, even though he is strong enough to fight against him, just in case. Whis stepped forward held his staff to Kakarot, and he noticed something peculiar, as he spoke out.

"It's odd...I don't sense any of Zamasu's life force inside of this one. In fact...he feels a lot more like Goku instead."

Goku looked confused, as he spoke out.

"What?"

Beerus looked at Kakarot, as he than stared back at Beerus.

"I see...so this Supreme Kai...it isn't Zamasu. But rather...it's someone else."

Goku was caught off guard by that, as Vegeta spoke out.

"What?! But if that's not Zamasu, than who's that?!"

Goku looks at Kakarot, as he than spoke out.

"Isn't it obvious...Kakarot?"

This caught Goku off guard, as he spoke out.

"Wait a minute...Zamasu never calls me that! He doesn't even know that this is my name! Who are you?!"

Kakarot than looks back at Goku, as he than spoke out very sternly.

"If it's not obvious...than allow me to say it clearly. I...am...you."

This caught everyone by shock, as their faces show that they were not expecting for that to happen.

"Wait...you're me?!"

Kakarot nodded.

"Yes, after I took back control of my body, and killed the Zamasu of the future that I lived..."

He than looks downwards to the right, as he than spoke out.

"As well...as the future that I can no longer live in. Everyone in my future, everything in the future...dead."

Beerus than looks at Kakarot in the eyes, as he than spoke out.

"So...that explains why I don't sense Zamasu's ki inside of you. It was Goku's all along. But how did you reclaim control of your body. Zamasu said he killed you after he had switched bodies with you. So how did you reclaim it once again?"

Kakarot than spoke out.

"He did kill me by switching bodies with him...but only my body. My Soul...on the other hand...it still lived. And I was still connected to my original body in a way. But it...took me a very, very long time to regain control of what's mine. Took me so long that...by the time I reclaimed it...it was already too late. The Zamasu of my time had killed every single mortal being."

Beerus looks at Kakarot, and spoke out.

"Pretty surprising...considering you just did a taboo by going through time, Goku."

But Kakarot than spoke out.

"Just...please call me Kakarot, my real name. I've since abandoned the human name, Goku, when I left my own future. And also...it's so that you can tell us both apart."

Kakarot spoke out, as he points at both himself and at his past, unchanged self. Beerus nodded, as he spoke out.

"Very well...Kakarot, if you prefer to be called by your Saiyan name."

Goku than stepped forward and spoke out.

"So, do you mind telling me why you're here? Any you decided to come back to this timeline?"

Kakarot...sighed, as she than spoke out to Goku.

"Haaaaa...I'm...pretty sure you know what Zamasu has done, Goku. About what he had done to Chi-Chi and Goten, your wife and...your son. Well...I figured that...I could redeem myself for what I had let Zamasu do to me, by making sure that they aren't getting killed. And more importantly...redeem myself for letting Zamasu kill everyone. So...to do this...I'm going to make sure the Earth is not going to be killed by something such as what Zamasu has done. By what...I had done."

Beerus and Whis looked at each other, and Kakarot than spoke out.

"Also...Lord Beerus, Whis..."

He than took off the Time Ring, and handed over to them. Beerus took it, and than, spoke out one word.

"...Hakai."

Than, the ring began to glow purple for a brief moment...and than...it soon crumbled to dust, as the Time Ring's destroyed. Besides...there is already a Time Ring like this in the present day. Beerus than looks back up Kakarot who than spoke out again.

"Figured this thing should be destroyed, since I don't want to go back to my time anymore."

Beerus nodded at Kakarot.

"So you say, Kakarot. Well...good luck with your stay in the past, Saiyan."

He than walks away with Whis, as Goku and Kakarot than looked at each other.

"Still hasn't changed."

Kakarot spoke out in both his own voice and Zamasu's voice, as Vegeta spoke out.

"I find it very surprising that you consider your name, Kakarot, instead of that human name you once had, unlike the Kakarot of my time."

"Hey!"

Kakarot stared at Vegeta for a bit, before he than looked away, ashamed, as he spoke out.

"I'm surprised myself, you know. But...after what happened...after what Zamasu used my body for...I think I deserve that name anymore. Kakarot...it is all I have now. It is who I truly am."

Goku than looks down, thinking of a way to possibly cheer his other self up, before he pled his fingers, and he spoke out.

"Hey, Other me from the future...let's say we head back with the others and get something to eat, huh?"

Kakarot looked at Goku, and he looked a little bit better, and he than spoke out to his past self.

"Food...it sounds good."

Goku smiled, as he the spoke out.

"Sweet!! Let's go, than!"

Goku than Instant Transmutes himself, and Kakarot grabs onto Vegeta and Instant Transmutes with him.

Later...

"Okay...I should be scared as surprised right now at what I'm seeing."

Krillan spoke out, as he is seeing Kakarot eating rice normally.

"The fact that this is another Goku inside of the body of a Zamasu Fusion...it is...a little strange."

Piccolo spoke out, as Goku is eating along with Kakarot. Kakarot, unlike his past self, is eating very normally, instead of eating at a fast pace, and he than looks up at the others, before he spoke out.

"I may resemble Zamasu, who had caused you so much pain...but I can assure...this is the person the you know of right now. The Saiyan that you're all friends with."

Krillan spoke out.

"Well...we know that. It's just that...it's very scary you look like Zamasu. Like, really, really scary."

Kakarot just simply shrugged, before going back to eating. And...in all honesty...it did make Kakarot feel a little bit better about himself. Maybe not fully to the point of feeling good right now. But...he is now feeling a lot more better than he had been before. But...still...being in the past again...it is going to take a long time to get used to...as the time era he had seen effected him badly. Kakarot just hopes that this thing he is doing...the time era that he is in right now...he just hopes it would help him recover from what had happened. His pointy ears twitched, at how much he likes food.

But...there was one thing that is in his mind. Chi-Chi and Goten. He...he is very scared. Not because of meeting him...but because of what they will think of him. He looks down a bit, with an unreadable expression, but it is very obvious that he is unhappy. Because...if they see him...what will they think of him? And more importantly of all...what is he going to tell them? Kakarot looks down at himself.

'I just wish I know what to do in this situation.'
