Suni's POV

I opened my eyes to be blinded by a bright light, I put my hands in front of my face in an effort to stop my eyes from burning. Once that stopped I sat up to see that we were still in the bio-ship. "Is Kal okay now?" I asked, everyone turned around to look at me.

"Your awake." They all sighed in relief.

"Well duh, I just used a little too much power. But again, is Kal okay now?"

"Yeah he's fine, but that was really stupid back there." Dick said looking straight at me.

"Tell me, if I hadn't gotten some water on him would he have certainly survived long enough for you to get him back?" He just looked to the ground. "That's what I thought." I got up off the medical table and began to walk towards Artie, stumbling a bit as I went. I sat beside her but noticed that she was a little fidgety. "Artie, what's wrong?"

"Can, can I talk to you when we get inside?"

"Ahh, sure." I say, but it sounds more like a question.

A little while later we finally come back to the mountain. Dick goes home, as well as Wally, Kal goes to tell batman what happened on the mission then I think Miss Martian and SB went to their rooms. Artie pulls me into the kitchen. "Okay, what's going on you have been fidgeting the entire ride?"

"Well you see." She looks down at me (yep I'm shorter than her, bout the same size as Robin.) and I see this desperate face on her, I haven't seen her look like this.
"Imayhaveaccidentallymentionedsomethingaboutmydadtowallybutthenitoldhimthatihadgottenitmuddledupwithamovieiwatchedthenightbeforeandnowiamworriedhewillfigureoutwhomyfamilyareandthennoneoftheteamwilltrustme." She looked down at her feet.

"You are so lucky I can understand that, but look Wally may be really smart . . . When it
comes to science, but he is fairly gullible, and besides I am sure that if he got suspicious he would confront you first and then you can either completely deny it or tell everyone your story." I smiled at her and she smiled back.

"Thanks Suni." She started to ruffle my hair.

"Hey, stop it!" I laughed along with her.

"Nope, your the baby of the group."

"Oh just go home, I'm sure your mum would be worrying about you now." I mock glared at her, but I think my smile gave away the fact I wasn't angry.

"Yep, and you get some rest." She smiled at me and walked to the zeta tube. I walked up to my room, and looked at the clock. 12:00. I have 7 hours before I have to get back up for school, better make the most of it. I turned my music on my bedside table and went underneath my warm blankets, within a few minutes I was out.

Next day

"Come on Sonya! You don't want to be late for school do you?!" I woke up to M'gann shouting through my door, I shot up out of bed and put my uniform on, I brushed my hair and out it up into two high piggy tails, I put my glasses on and walked into the kitchen to get something I eat.

"M'gann, what are you cooking?" I asked as a sweet smell filled my nose.

"Pancakes! I thought you might like them." She smiled at me, but I just gave her a blank look.

"Um, yeah, sure." 'What the freakin hell are pancakes?!' I sat down at the table and grabbed a knife and fork, I stared at the food hesitantly for a while before trying it. "Oh my gosh M'gann, this is amazing!" I screamed at her.

"Thank you, I'm glad you like it." She smiled at me, but her smile seemed to disappear when I was eating it really slowly. "You don't have to lie about it being good you know."

"No, I'm not lying. It is honestly really good!" I said to her waving my hands in front of my face.

"But I thought cause you were eating slowly?" She gave me a questioning gaze.

"Yeah, well I'm not used to eating such sweet food, hell eating full stop, and I'll kinda feel sick if I eat it too quick, but trust me this tastes amazing. But then again I have never had it before so I can't compare it to what I have tried in the past." I looked down at my watch. "Oh shoot, gotta go or I won't get to school on time." I flew to the zeta tubes, and saw my bag right beside it. Thank goodness I packed it the night before.

Time skip

I started to run through the school trying to get to my home class on time. I ran through the door just as the bell went and sat next to Dick.

"Cutting it a little short for your first day back aren't we?" He gave me that signature smirk.

"Oh shut It you, how many times have you done this as well."

"True, true. So what subjects do you have?" I passed him my schedule. "All the same as me today." He smiled at me as he handed it back.

"Right cause you totally didn't know that already, and that totally wasn't planned." I said, note the sarcasm.

"Not at all planned." He smirked at me, I just rolled my eyes.

Time skip, lunch

I placed my stuff in my locker and was about to walk off when I saw a group of jocks surrounding Dick. I walked up behind them being undetected trying to listen to what they were saying.

"What ya circus freak?" They continued taunting him they then gave him a pushed him, he moved slightly under the pressure, but I could tell that he wasn't trying to stop them.

"What's wrong got a problem, why don't you go run to mummy and daddy? Oh wait-" he stopped at looked at his friends.

"Their dead!" They all laughed together. I saw Dick clench his fists and saw a small tear fall down his cheek at the mention of his parents.

"Aww, look little Grayson is crying." Okay that's it, I don't care if he's gonna get up me for interfering I am!

"Why don't you go pick on someone else." I said coming out of the shadows.

"Ooo I'm so scared of the little girl."

"Yeah well you should be cause this little girl has some anger issues, and the little girl can't always control them when her friends are being bullied." I said glaring at them.

They took a step back. "Well you can't talk, I mean rumour has it you killed your own father. Rumour also has it that you were just kicked out of your adoptive parents home. Oh is that why you defend him cause your in the same situation?" I could feel the flames licking at the back of my neck, oh no.

"Hey why don't you just leave them alone." I turned around to see Artie walking up to us.

"And what ya gonna do bout it?"

She smirked and lifted her hand up, suddenly Barbra and Wally appeared. "I don't think three against five is a fair fight." She smirked. The three boys ground there teeth before walking off.

"You guys didn't have to do that." Dick said looking to the ground.

"Of course we did, I couldn't let those asses bring up your parents, honestly I was gonna leave you alone till they said that."

"And we couldn't let the baby protect you alone." Artie said grinning.

"Excuse me." I raised an eyebrow at her, daring her to continue. On my behalf, not a smart idea.

"What, you are the youngest."

"No she isn't Dick is, isn't he?" Wally said looking at the sky appearing to be in deep thought.

"No, I am sadly younger by 19 days, why are we even talking about this?"

"No clue, but let's get to lunch."

"Hey that's right, your the 20th December Dick's the 1st." Wally declared.

"Wally we are a little past that conversation." I replied trying not to laugh, but none of us were successful in that.
